After the last update for OSX 10.9.5, I get messages stating that I need to re-install the update because it did not install properly - How do I do this

On September 24, I got a message from the App Store saying there was an update of the Operating System on my MacBookPro laptop - OS X 10.9.5 - once I updated it, I got a message saying that there was an error in the update and that it did not install properly and that I should re-install the update. I have no idea how to do this. Can anyone help me?

You can manually download the Combo update if in doubt of the integrity of the OS 10.9.5
install on top of what you have, backups are always a good idea.

Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, but if you've reached the 5 computer limit then you can log into your account and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need : authorising and deauthorising.

Kindly be noted i have iphone 4 updated with the new IOS6 and before few days when i want to make update it gaves me an error message says that i need to changey i tunes account from the indian to the kuwaiti account and one more time it gave me a message that i need to change my account from the philippine store to the kuwaiti store but from the other hand i already registerred to the kuwaiti store and i dont have sydia or what u call jail break and my phone is up to date with any updates from the itunes store so could you please help me because i need to update the application and i cannot .. It is not worth it. Java is insecure until you get to 10.5.8. Read this tip on disabling Java, and why.

Instead of just turning the phone off and on try a reset.
Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Look in your Applications folder for the new version.
Remove the old icon from the Dock and drag down the new one for ease of use.

After I close the browser, it will not reopen for a while. I receive a message stating that firefox is still running. I can open IE at this point, but firefox is disabled for about 10 minutes

After I close the firefox browser, I cannot repoen the program. There is an error message to the effect that the program is still running. I cannot access it withthe ALT TAB command and I dont see the program active in the task bar. I can run IE at that time and get back to the web, but Firefox wont open for several minutes-not sure how long. I wait a while and I can back to the browser. Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

It will play when connected to the computer...but that makes it hard to take it on a walk with me I thought it might be a synching problem so tried that--still doesn't work.
