After updating to 5.1, pages no longer lets me convert long, single page (up to 8 1/2 x 50) document to an 8 1/2 x 11 document with many pages.

I have been using pages to create a document that I always export in two ways. 1st, I export a single page document that contains all of the data (sometimes this can go as long as 8 1/2 x 50). I have to do this for web purposes. Next, I duplicate the document, and change the page setup to 8 1/2 x 11, turning it into a document with many pages. This is for printing purposes.
Before upgrading to Pages 5.1, this worked flawlessly. After the upgrade, when I change the document to 8 1/2 x 11, Pages just deletes all of the data after the 11'' mark.
I am trying to make it behave like it did before the upgrade: when I convert the document to 8 1/2 x 11, it just made as many new pages as necessary and didn't delete any of the data.
How can I do this?

Pages 5 is buggy and has had over 100 fetaures removed.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder, use that.

Have you tried going to System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy and dragging your hard drive into the box then drag it back. That will trigger a re-index.

What exactly is "adobe"? Adobe is the name of a company that has hundreds of software products, each with a distinct name.
You are posting in the Flash Player forum; do you really receive emails with Flash attachments?
Flash Player also cannot scan or send emails.
Finally you give no information regarding your operating system, email client, etc.

I had this problem. I held down the power switch to power down completely. Takes a few seconds. Then use the power switch to turn on. Might take a couple goes.

All the monitoring is done through your sound device, not Audition. When you updated your PC, the sound device playback settings would have been reset. One of them includes input socket monitoring, and it's this that you need to reinstate. Since we don't know what sound device you are using, that's as much as we can tell you, except that if it's an internal device, you'll need to open the volume control options and alter it there. This varies between OS versions though...

Here is something to try. Boot into the Recovery HD by holding
down Command+R when booting. Select the get help online option.
It initially opens Safari with a local web page, but you can use
the bookmarks on the bookmark bar or even enter a website.
Many extensions may not be available but it could tell you if
it is your Lion install that is a problem or perhaps a hardware
problem.
If you can browse around in this mode, then it could eliminate
any possible hardware issues. If you still have problems, then
the issue could possibly be hardware/driver related.
Give it a shot and see what happens.

I've been following the trouble shooting guide, and have power
cycled the Apple TV. I've ensured that the Firewall allows
iTunes, iPhoto, and Bonjour (UDP 5353) through. I've tried
disabling the Apple firewall.
I have not yet power cycled my computer, because it is busy
running iPhoto, importing my photos. I have not yet removed
and reinstalled iTunes. Will do both of those after iPhoto
finishes importing.
Any other suggestions?

Got it working!
Besides the Apple specified debugging items for ATV not showing up in iTunes,
I ran disk warrior on my disks, and repaired the permissions on my boot disk.
At some point, ATV running 2.0 showed up on iTunes. Then, it went away, and
would not come back.
I restored ATV to factory defaults, sw 1.1. This time, it did not show up in iTunes.
Found that at some point NetBarrier X5 decided that the ATV was a computer attempting a DOS attack on my Mac, and decided to drop all packets from the ATV. Fixed that, and got ATV 2.0 working with iTunes 7.6

After updating to Firefox 3.6.10 this morning, Outlook 2007 can no longer open up links embedded in emails. Normally when you clicked a link it would open up Firefox and send you to the website, but when you click on any link it now says:
General failure. The URL was: [url here]
An error occurred in sending the command to the application.
I don't know what happened. I didn't change any other settings on the computer.
I am running Windows 7 64 Professional, MS Outlook 2007 with latest updates, and Firefox 3.6.10

Yes, the first generation model still works with iTunes 11. It sounds as though you have set it up as a streaming only library.
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can sync it back afterwards, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted.

Have you run system update recently? If so, and you're using icloud, I would have a look in System Preferences, icloud, and see if contacts is checked in there.

After updating my wife's iPad to iOS6 the ipad will not connect to wifi on certain wireless routers. What can we do? Also, same for iPad mini with same router. But iPhone that has iOS5 has no problem connecting.

Need help. Before updating to latest software iOS6 the iPad had no issues connecting on our home router. After updating the iPad will not work. We have a mini iPad with same issue. But I have a iPhone 4S that I chose not to update to iOS6, still has iOS5. It connects no problem to router. Our computers have no issues connecting to router either. There is a software issue with iOS6.0.1 that will not allow certain routers to communicate. What can I do? You can't with Adobe Reader. You need Acrobat for that.

Tabs with many pages

I have standart tab that under it there are lots of pages. Because of wwv_flow_tabs.tab_also_current_for _pages field is varchar2(255), I can not create new pages under that standart tab. Is there a solution for that situation. (for example making field varchar2(1000) ? )

Hi Scott,
we have a 1.5.1.00.12 test instance. I have imported my application to that instance and when I tried to create new page under the tab again the same error occured. And because of being test instance I modified wwv_flow_tabs.tab_also_current_for_pages field to varchar2(4000). Everything well now. I can create new page under the tab which has many pages. I know that this is not a solution, but we have no change to upgrade 1.6 nowadays. I am waiting your comments.

After update to Firefox 8, the pause function on videos no longer works

I updated both my desktop and laptop to Firefox 8.
The laptop is a Toshiba and it's OS is Win 7 with Kapersky AV. The laptop has no problems.
When using Firefox on the desktop, which is a clone, with Win XP as the OS, and Norton AV, all up to date, the pause function on videos often does not work.
I have been able to play the same videos on this desktop computer using IE 8 and pause them with no problem.
I need to have the pause function work, because I am interrupted a lot, and it can take me 3 hrs. to watch a one hour video due to that.
Can anyone help? If not, I'll just have to use IE, though I much prefer Firefox. Thanks.

After updating iTunes, my wishlist and list of purchases is no longer visible in the Store.

Like the title says, after the most recent update of iTunes (11.1.2) on my MacBookPro (OS X 10.6.8) when I go to the store My Wish List is no longer populated with selections that I have made to consider purchasing, and under Purchased it shows that I have made no purchases, whcih isn't the case.
Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong?

I reset it and now all is well. The wishlist and purchases have reappeared.
