Ageing analysis in Accounts Payable
I am doing AR ageing for open items for 30days, 60 days etc. based on document date in BEX. The value comes correct for the present date but if I want to take open item ageing say till November'05, no values are coming as some of the open items have been cleared off during subsequent periods. Please let me know is there anything I have to do so as to show all the open items as on some previous period in time.
Thanks,
hi,
please check this link where I provided solution to a similar question. You can find the logic for aging report.
Re: Aging Report
<b>Below is the content of my previous reply to Ageing problem:</b>
Checkout this scenario, it may help you!!!
Columns:
Place the Amount at top level
Create New Selection for Not Due Bucket, Place the Amount and Key
Date entered by the user in this Selection. Restrict Key Date to
Greater than or equal to the User entered date.
Create New Selection for 1-30 aging Bucket, Place the Amount and
Key Date entered by the user in this Selection. Restrict Key Date to
value range -1 to -30, to achieve this set the variable offsets to the
variable created for Key Date.
For 30-60, 60-90, 90-120 & >120 aging buckets do the same
restrictions as above.

AP Invoice Aging Report by GL Date (using: Accounts Payable Trial Balance)
Hi
Need some suggestions:
I need to develop a custom report in (R12).
Account Payable Trial Balance Report, does have the capability to run as of a particular date but it does not show aging buckets. This custom report is to be developed to meet the requirements from a Payables detail perspective as well as to reconcile.
The report should show the balance due as of the report date selected. If As of Date = 5/31/11, then when the report is run on 6/15/11, it gives the results as it existed on 5/31/11. If we run it again on 8/31/11 for As of Date = 5/31/11, and again on 1/13/12, we get the EXACT SAME results each and every time except for the following fields: Current Status, Date Paid and Payment Reference Number.
The end result should be this report ties to the penny to Oracle GL as of the date selected EXCEPT for any JEs posted to the account.
Thanks
PravinHi Pravin,
For all transactions in Oracle, you will have GL dates (Accounting Dates) associated to it. If you use this date in your query to filter data, then you will get correct aging data as on a given date.
To tally with GL, you also must check if the selected transaction has been accounted?

Dear All,
I am in need to develop customized report on Vendor Accounts payable - Aging for given slab.
I can find the open items for the given key date in the table BSIK.
if we want to calculate due on past date( for cleared item), how can we use BSIK. ?
Let consider the following scenario.
Consider an item is cleared on 10.02.2009. if the key date is 18.05.2009, there is no due for this item. But if the keydate is 15.12.2008, the item is on due. (consider 15.12.2008 is calculated with baseline date, credit days).
How can we calculate aging for this from BSIK. because BSIK contains only open items.
If we use BSAK ( Cleared Items ). How to calculate aging using baseline date, clearing date, credit days.
Regards,
S.SridharTo calculate aging,
You com use the FM J_1B_FI_NETDUE. If i undestand your problem, that FM will help you to calculate aging.

Age Analysis for a GL account?
Hie All
Good day, I have a client who has a unique requirement. They have a general ledger account which shows all Downpayments made. The client requires this account to produce an age analysis for each line item. Is this possible if so how can I achieve that?
ThanksHi
Thanks for the response but I might need your assistance on how to write the query, as you said it doesn't sound simple.
Just as a background the account in question is a balance sheet account (asset) linked to business Partner records on the accounting tab Down payments clearing account. When a down payment invoice is raised a DR is created on the down payments clearing account. This is the amount they require to age. -

Vendor aging analysis application, which extract the data from Vendor Master Table and Vendor Transaction Tables supports Accounts Payable. Vendor master display the risk category and transactions record of vendor. How does company plan the cash resources forecast with this application? Explain in detail, how this application analyze vendor payment performance?
In cash if you do not have Cash Management in place, where you can link your vendor / customer records.
If you do not have CM, in such case, you can prepare cash flow statements according to your needs.
Make sure you have completed your financial statement version in OB58.
Cash Flow Statement (Indirect Method) Variant 1 and Variant 2, please note that these reports are coming from the form 0SAPRATIO-03 Cash flow (indirect) (Refer T code FSI5) and Reports 0SAPRATIO-03 Cash flow (indirect method) variant 1 (Refer Tcode FSI2) & 0SAPRATIO-01 Cash flow (indirect method) variant 2 (Refer T code FSI2)
0SAPRATIO-04 Cash flow (direct) Form
0SAPRATIO-04 Cash flow (direct method)
You should know what format you should like to see in the cash flow statement.
You should the FS items accordingly copy the standard forms and changed according to your format.

Hi,
I want to do Aging Analysis in Payables by currency after revaluation. The report available after revaluation gives invoice details etc but in functional currency.
I want by Currency and With Aging
Is any report available in 11 or 11i.
Thanks & Regards
SriDear Ramesh,
An Ageing Analysis is the process of categorizing our accounts receivables based on their age or the number of days they have been outstanding.
This time-based categorization helps us to get a better fix on the number of clients that owe us and the number of days that they have been overdue.
This is configured mainly from FICO end. SD only needs to configure the payment terms with the customer.
The analysis helps us take a softer recovery approach with a client who has a payment that is 30 days overdue as opposed to a client whose payments are overdue for more than 90 days. (This can be done by defining payment terms in SD).
The ageing schedule also helps you identify customers difficulties in meeting payment obligations, ensuring better customer relationship management.
Hope I was able to throw some light on the topic.

Hi Guys,
What is the query for Accounts Payable Trial Balance (APXTRBAL) in 11.5.10?
I have to write an AP Invoice Aging Report in Discoverer to show all unpaid invoices that have been transferred into GL... Business wants it to match one-to-one with the AP Trial Balance standard report...
Business wants to run the report for any date in a past...
The report has two parameters:
As Of Date - the same as As of Date for the AP Trial Report
Trial Balance Run Date - the date when Trial Balance was run...
Conditions are:
TRUNC(Invoice Date) <=TRUNC(NVL(TO_DATE(:As Of Date),SYSDATE))
TRUNC(NVL(Payment Date,'01-JAN-5000')) > TRUNC(NVL(TO_DATE(:As Of Date),SYSDATE))
TRUNC(Invoice Creation Date) <= TRUNC(NVL(TO_DATE(:Trial Balance Run Date),SYSDATE))
Distr Accounting Date <= TRUNC(NVL(TO_DATE(:As Of Date),SYSDATE))
NVL(Distr Creation Date,Invoice Creation Date) <= TRUNC(NVL(TO_DATE(:Trial Balance Run Date),SYSDATE))
Show_Flag = 'YES', where:
Show_Flag = CASE WHEN ( NVL(Cancelled Date,'01-JAN-1901') > NVL(:As Of Date,SYSDATE) AND NVL(Inv Amount Aud,0) = 0 ) THEN 'YES' ELSE ( CASE WHEN NVL(Inv Amount Aud,0) = 0 THEN 'NO' ELSE 'YES' END ) END
There is a difference between the logic of my report, and the logic of AP Trial Balance...
Could you please advise what I'm missing?
Thanks,
IanaWhat is the query for Accounts Payable Trial Balance (APXTRBAL) in 11.5.10? You can get the code by opening the report in Reports Builder and get the query.
Or, enable trace/debug as per (FAQ: Common Tracing Techniques within the Oracle Applications 11i/R12 [ID 296559.1]).

Creation of Invoice for Accounts Payables - RERAIV
Hi Gurus,
I would like to create invoices (or in this case credit memos) to accounts payables with transaction RERAIV.
Is this possible. Can I influance this via an enhancment?
thx in advance,
br, ChristianHi,
yes the contract type is 0-External Contract.
I have now analysed the programm in detail. I seems that it will be not possible to create invoices to vendors without a modifikation.
In the class "CL_RECN_CONTRACT" there is a check with method IS_DEBIT, which forbits the creation.
WIth some modifcations it is no possible to create invoices to vendors from planed positions, not from posted.
I will inform you about my solution.

Hi All,
I have to create a Age analysis report for FI documents
which have line items with posting key 75 & 70 (Asset)
Given logic is
1 Selection screen has parameters - Company code, Key date
2 Need to take all line items with posting key 70 & 75
(BSEG-BSCHL = 70 or 75)
Layout of report is
Asset no 0-30 31-60 61-90 91-120 . 151-360 (days)
80000003 2000.00 3000.00 1000.00 4000.00 7000.0
80000006 1000.00 5000.00 300.00 5000.00 4000.0
Local curency amount should be categorised under the days
diferences between key date (selection screen) & posting date
of the accounting document.
My problem is,
Posting date of the document is not in the BSEG table. It is
in the BKPF table. Therefore I have to extract all FI documents(Not only documents with posting key 75 or 70) within 360 days from Key date in BKPF the table.
I cannot join BSEG & BKPF. Because, BSEG table is a cluster table.
Can you please tell me the way how can i extract the data for this report with out any performance issues.
PraGreat idea, but I dont think it is going to work.
The 1st problem should be, how do you work out the key date... You will need some good code for that.
Have a look at the customer aged debt reports for some help.
After that, if you just want asset documents, do they have their own unique document type, if so, you could use the doc type from BKPF to reduce the number you want to select in BSEG.
Have you looked at any of the standard Asset dep reports, perhaps there is something there you could use. -

Dear All,
I am analysing data which goes through 0fi_ap_4 data source. I seek info on how accounts payable data is distinguished from General Ledger data.Since accounts payable is a subset of general ledger data, from which table does 0fi_ap_4 take info from and what is the field used to decide that a certain records is related to accounts payable?
Regards,
Ratish
