Agent determination issue with no error, cant use SWPR?

Hello gurus.
We currently have 81 invoices that have workflow status "in process". However, the last line of this status is "agent determination issue". I've assigned the appropriate user in PFOM and i want to restart the workflow item, but i cannot use SWPR.
Normally it should be in error and you can use SWPR, and that fixes everything- however why is the workflow still "in process" and not in error? and how can i complete the workflow item now that the agent has been assigned? do i just create a new workflow using SWUE and delete the old one? OK then try like this , as you said you do not have authorizations to SWI1_RULE right so do teh below steps,
1. Execute SE37 and execute the fucntion module ALINK_CALL_TRANSACTION.
2. Now mention the txn name as SWI1_RULE.
3. Now you should be able to see teh initial screen of the txn.
4. Now enter teh workitem ID which is in ready state not the top workitem ID, the workitem for which the agent is not assigned. Click F8.
5. Now choose that workitem ID and click CTRL + SHIFT + F11.
it should re evalutae the agents, if this is also not determing then make a note of the RULE ID from activity step and open the txn by using the above function module and try to simulate the rule or please let us know what is the rule type.

Strange issue with rights of account, used by SSIS (Foreach Loop Container does not return file names without Admin rights on server)

Hello everyone.
Faced very strange issue with account, which is used to run SSIS package.
The specific package uses Foreach Loop Container to retrieve file names within the specified folder, and put them into Import file task.
The package is set up to run under specific service account. This service account is given all permissions (Full control) to the folder where source files reside.
So the issue is: SSIS package fails to execute this task (Foreach Loop Container and then Import), and shows that no files are found in the directory (although files ARE there).
Once we're adding the service account into local Administrators group on the SQL Server, it works! Removing - does not work again. We cannot leave the service account as SQL server's admin as it's prohibited by our IT policies, and is just a bad practice.
Any ideas, please?

Determination dumps with assertion_failed error

I am enhancing a TM feature and my determination dumps with assertion_failed error. I check ST22 and the dump lies in method /BOBF/IF_FRW_CONFIGURATION~GET_CONTENT_KEY_MAPPING.

Hi Clark,
Few questions on the above code.
Is this an standard determination you tried to enhance or a Custom determination you have created?
The work around you can use is..to create a custom determination using the transaction bopf_ewb.
Enhance that particular node & create a a property determination for that node in which the field which has to be done read-only.
The above same code can be implemented to make it read-only.Instead of enhancing the standard, I would suggest you try this method to make the field read-only.
Note: Please ensure that you that the determination is written for that particular node in which the field is present.

Issues with itunes error -50, determining gapless playback, missing speaker options, home sharing not working

In the last few weeks I have been experiencing multiple issues with my iTunes.
I believe it began when my itunes library corrupted and I had to start again.
By starting again I mean I went to previous itunes libraries and used the most recent backup.
After I noticed a large number of unknown error (-50) messages I thought I better copy the backup I was using from the previous libraries folder over to the itunes folder (in case the error related to failed attempts to back up the library).
This problem in itself wasn't too bad as I am able to close and relaunch iTunes and carry on however I have noticed some less desirable side effects - the loss of home sharing. I am unable to pick speakers to broadcast to (I have 2 airport express units plugged in and working and an Apple TV2) and I am unable to access the iTunes library on Apple TV.
I've done some basic troubleshooting: creating rules to allow the home sharing ports, temporarily disabling antivirus/firewall, uninstalling antivirus/firewall, setting up rules on the router for homesharing ports, uninstalling iTunes, rebooting, reinstalling iTunes and retrying, disabling home sharing and reenabling, disabling peerblock, deauthorising itunes and reauthorising and rebooting both the pc and Apple TV, checking sharing settings under preferences and verifying both the entire library is shared and that the status of home sharing is on but no devices connected, created a new library and reimporting my media and the problem still exists.
I noticed that occasionally when I switch between libraries, deauthorise and reauthorise I do get access to home sharing and Apple Tv gets full access to the library BUT iTunes quickly becomes unresponsive and when I close and relaunch Apple TV can no longer see my library or iTunes.
I have checked the network I am running on is marked as a home network, I have tried connecting the Apple TV via LAN instead of WiFi but this makes no difference. What I do find interesting is that I have iTunes running on another pc and on a virtual machine and as soon as I run either their libraries appear on Apple TV so there must be something about the installation on my pc and nothing wrong with the Apple TV, airport express, router etc.
With that in mind I retried an uninstall and this time deleted as many tmp files as I could see in the iTunes library folder, rebooted and reinstalled. I also checked the permission levels on the iTunes application folder and the iTunes library folder (located on an additional internal drive), I then tried running iTunes as an administrator (which my user account is already set as) but all the problems are still evident.
The determining gapless playback has no effect on how I use iTunes but it clearly does not need to run for every single recently added track any time I make a minute change to other library entries. I tried looking up one of the files it was determining gapless playback for but it wasn't corrupt or read only so I don't see why it needs to retry continually.
I'm running Windows 7 64bit with all latest updates installed and iTunes 64bit 10.6.3.25, all apple devices are running the latest version of firmware and I'm running out of ideas. I did try running CCleaner to clear up and registry issues if there were any and I ran Appcleaner to remove any iTunes cache that may have been left between installs. I'm running out of ideas - what am I missing here?

I have found the problem was in part caused by Windows firewall.
Exactly how Windows firewall can cause the problem when I wasn't even using it I don't know.
What I do know is that when I checked 'allow a program through the firewall' I found 4 rules set for iTunes, one of which was public network access.
I deleted the superfluous rules and the Home Sharing problems are solved.
All that needs sorting now is the 'determining gapless playback'.

Agent determination issue in a workflow

Greetings everyone!
I'm configuring some business scenario with the help of a business workflow in SAP CRM 7.0 I'm using activity step and want to determine agents using standard SAP rule 10000162 ("Employees for responsible org. unit"). I've tested the rule outside of the workflow and it's working fine, but in workflow it fails to determine an agent.
In a log I see following errors:
Agent determination for step '0000000023' failed;
Result of agent resolution does not agree with agents of task;
I've made some tests depending on what assignment task has:
1. When it is a general task, work item was created for a workflow initiator even though rule failed to determine an agent.
2. When it is a task with general forwarding with assigned position(s), which rule will never determine, work item was created for holder(s) of that position(s).
3. When it is a task with general forwarding with no assignments, workflow could not determine an agent as expected.
I've also debugged functional module for that rule and it determines appropriate agent but then do some check with the help of RH_TASK_AGENT_CHECK function and returns an error.
Can someone help me with this problem? Is it some standard expected behavior or not?
Maybe something wrong with the org. plan?

I've tried to assign user directly instead of position to a task with no help. I get the same result.
I've tried to set a task as a general task and made the rule to fail if there is no resolution and it fails.
I've tried to assign position or user directly to activity in a workflow and it does work but that's not what I need in my scenario.
As I said earlier I've tried to debug that rule invoked from a workflow. I will post some screenshots for you.
I set a task as a general task and assigned rule 10000162 (ABBR="PARTNER_1", Name="Employees for responsible org. unit") to activity step in a workflow and here is what I get:
1. Function CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_2 gets called by the rule and resp. sales org. unit is passed there ([screenshot1|http://www.picdrop.net/?v=debug1.png])
2. Next function CRM_ORGUNIT_GETEMPLOYEES gets called passing id of a resp. sales org.unit without a type.
3. Next RH_STRUC_GET gets called and returns result table with position and central person for that position ([screenshot2|http://www.picdrop.net/?v=debug2.png])
4. In the end of CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_2 function only central person in inserted to the actor_tab ([screenshot3|http://www.picdrop.net/?v=debug3.png])
5. After CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_2 ends we appear in a RH_GET_ACTORS function where we can see that agent check is performed if act_task is not initial. I assume that check is not performed if we do a simulation of a rule ([screenshot4|http://www.picdrop.net/?v=debug4.png])
6. Then RH_TASK_AGENT_CHECK function gets called for every record in a actor_tab. In out particular case it's one record. ([screenshot5|http://www.picdrop.net/?v=debug5.png])
7. Inside that function checks act_wi_id (activity work item id?) if it's initial and get exluded agents. It is initial in my case ([screenshot6|http://www.picdrop.net/?v=debug6.png])
8. Then function tries to read table with keys equal to type and id of found agent and errors there, perhaps because there is no record in that table ([screenshot7|http://www.picdrop.net/?v=debug7.png])
That error results in overall agent determination failure.
Hope this screenshots will help to identify a problem.
Why read table results in an error and because of that all rule fails?

An issue with DAQmx Error messages

I'm using a 6602 counter board with DAQmx 7.4, ANSI C API. A strange issue concerning the errors due to faulty attribute values keeps occuring, that being no error is reported when the (faulty) attribute value is set but only when it is read back afterwards. Shouldn't the faulty value be reported by the Set function?
To be specific, I'm creating a period measurement counter input channel with implicit timing, sample mode = finite, then setting the number of samples per channel to 0 (bear with me, I know the 0 value makes no sense here, the point is how the errors are being reported so that they can be handled in a reliable and consistent way). While DAQmxSetSampQuantSampPerChan(taskHandle, 0) does not produce an error, calling DAQmxGetSampQuantSampPerChan(taskHandle, &SampPerChan) for verification on the very next line returns Error -200077 : "Requested value is not a supported value for this property". So, my question is why the error is reported by the Getter instead of the Setter? Is this normal behavior (if so why?) or is something amiss here?

This is the expected behavior. Validating attributes is tricky when attributes are dependent upon other attributes. There are two main approaches that can be taken by NI-DAQmx.
One, when every attribute is set, NI-DAQmx could verify the value of that attribute in the context of the task (i.e., in the context of all other attributes). This is problematic for at least a couple of reasons. One, validating the task after every attribute is set is time consuming and not efficient. Two, validating the task after every attribute is set requires that customers set attributes in a specific order such that dependent attributes are set after their dependencies. This would dramatically decrease the usability of NI-DAQmx. In fact, if attributes are mutually dependent, this approach is impossible.
The second approach is that NI-DAQmx doesn't verify the task until it is forced to do so. Starting a task forces it to be validated. Querying an attribute also forces the task to be verified since the value of an attribute may be dependent upon the value of another attribute.
As you've noticed, we've taken the second approach with NI-DAQmx. This approach leads to a more efficient execution as well as allow customers to set attributes in an arbitrary order. If you want to force the task to be verified in order to check for errors, you can do so explicitly at the desired time. However, the need to check attributes for errors is most often needed when the application is under development and the NI-DAQmx error reporting features makes it easy to determine which attribute has been set to an invalid value even when that error is not reported immediately.
Now, in reality, the way NI-DAQmx handles attributes is a bit more complicated than what I just described. Since some attributes are not dependent on other attributes or, since some attribute values can never be valid regardless of the values of other attributes, these attributes are verified when they are set and errors are returned immediately. We refer to this as coarse attribute verification. For example, if you set the sample rate to 100 MHz on an E-Series device you will immediately get an error.

Issue with instant ringback when using sip trunk to SP

We have a SIP trunk to a SP connected via one of our Cisco 2911 routers configured as a CUBE.

We also have several ISDN lines that run out via various Cisco routers configured as H323 gateways.
We use 7945 and CIPC for our phones.
We're having an issue with calls going via the SIP trunk where we hear ringing instantly after dialling - but before the actual device at the other end starts ringing (considerable difference).
Using the SIP trunk: If I make a call to my mobile phone - I hear ringing instantly - about 3 rings before my mobile phone actually starts ringing - undesireable.
Using H323 gateway: If I make a call to my mobile phone - I hear silence for a bit - then ringing when the mobile starts ringing - desired.
Using SIP trunk: If I make a call to a landline that is ready - it rings instantly for at least 1 ring - before the actual phone I'm calling starts ringing - undesireable.
Using H323 gateway: There is a momentary pause before hearing ringing on my phone and the phone I dialled - desired.
Using SIP trunk: If I make a call to a landline that is off-hook (with no call-waiting/etc.) - it rings once and then returns the busy signal (the worst issue) - undesireable.
Using H323 gateway: There is a momentary pause before hearing busy signal - desired.
Phone to phone internally (same network): Operates as expected (instantly rings locally and on the phone I'm calling). Between phones that utilise the SIP trunk and phones that utilise the H323 gateways within the same network - communication is instant and as expected.
Any ideas why this happens and how to stop it?
I want it to not ring until the situation is known and that it can provide the appropriate feedback (ringing/busy/etc.).

I ended up resolving this issue as follows:
In CUCM, under Device > Device Settings > SIP Profile.
I modifed the profile relevant to my SIP trunk, under the "Trunk Specific Configuration", I set "SIP Rel1XX Options" from "Disabled" to "Send PRACK if 1xx Contains SDP".
Now, I get the expected delay before hearing ringback.

We have developed one custom workflow a year back and last two months we are seeing the issue with Agent Determination randomly. We created a position with 3 users and assigned the Position to the Agent Assignment. Some times the work item sent to other users other than 3 users assigned to the position. We are not able to trace it, why it's behaving like this. Any help would be appreciated.

Please check the wflow log from SWIA whether someone has forwarded the workitem?
There can be also change in Position assignment, Substitute getting maintained.
Also check whether the users are maintained in the Task level if it is General forwarding Not allowed task from the task attribute.

Issues with UpdateAction and later using jbo:RowsetIterate

Hello -
I am putting together a BC4J/Struts web app and am having some issues
with using the oracle.jbo.html.struts11.actions.UpdateAction class.
I am trying to figure out the correct way to reset a row after validation exceptions
so that <jbo:RowsetIterate> doesn't blow up when it hits the row if the user doesn't fix the
data they entered in to pass validation.
Call the objects being update 'Accounts'.
Pass 1:
User changes account data in an edit page and submits.
Struts hands off control to an action that is a subclass of UpdateAction which invokes super.execute(...).
UpdateAction does its thing - catches the validation errors and sticks them in ActionErrors.
Control gets passed back to the edit page with the errors displayed.
This is expected. HOWEVER, if the user goes to a page that lists accounts (via <jbo:RowsetIterate>) it blows
up on the edited account because it tries to validate the row. So...
Pass 2:
After super.execute(...) check to see if any errors happened (by whether or not the forward returned indicated success).
If there were errors, refresh the row via:
BC4JContext context = BC4JContext.getContext(request);
Row row = context.getRow();
row.refresh(Row.REFRESH_WITH_DB_FORGET_CHANGES | Row.REFRESH_REMOVE_NEW_ROWS);
This works (not blowing up if user goes back to listing page) for emptying a mandatory field (JBO-27014)
but not for inserting too much data into a field (JBO-27010). I've tried this with REFRESH_UNDO_CHANGES as
well with the same results. So...
Pass 3:
Instead of refreshing the row in my update action, rollback the transaction via:
BC4JContext.getContext(request).getApplicationModule().getTransaction().rollback();
However this seems unnessary - I don't want to rollback the whole transaction just to undo changes to one row. Is there some better way to fix the issue?

Any suggestions on how to fix installation issues with iPhoto & iMovie on used Mac mini?

I bought a used, mid 2011, mac min. The selller deauthorized all his applications and resotred it to factory settings for me. When I received it, I added myself as an administrator and deleted the dummy user the seller had created after restoring the OS. The first thing I wanted to do was install applications I already have on my iMac (also running OSX Lion). It would not install iPhoto or iMovie. It said these applications were assigned to a different apple id, the previous owner. I decided to erase the hard drive and reinstall Lion myself. I ran into some snags (due to my internet connection) and had to use recovery thumb drive, but it worked.
I successfully re-installed Lion on the newly formatted hard drive.
I still cannot install iPhoto and iMovie. It just give me an error now. Couriously, it installed Garage Band just fine. I haven't had any other issues with other applications I purchased on my other iMac.
Anyone have any suggestions, besides purchasing iPhoto and iMovie on the mac mini?

Ethernet cord connected to the router solved it. This is exactly what I had to do when I reinstalled the operating system. For some reason my wireless internet is highly inreliable. It drops out constantly. I've always had my iMac hard wired to the router, but I'll have to figure out a fix for this Mac mini. I can't have a 30ft ethernet cord running through the middle of my basement. Thanks.

Issue with SRDemo error handling

Glad the forums are back up and running. In debugging some error-handling issues in our own application, I found an issue in the error handling code of SRDemo. I thought I'd post the issue here, as many of us (myself included) use some SRDemo code as the basis for our own applications.
The issue can be found in the oracle.srdemo.view.frameworkExt.SRDemoPageLifecycle class, specifically in the translateExceptionToFacesErrors method. I'll show the code that has the issue first, and explain the issue afterwards:

The obvious issue: if there is a binding in the page definition, it doesn't necessarily mean that the attribute is shown on the screen. It's a good approximation, but not exact.
The other issue is more subtle, and led to errors being "eaten," or not shown, in our application. The issue comes if you are using an af:table to display and update your data. In that case, the findControlBinding will not find anything for that attribute, since the attribute is contained within a table binding.

Yes, I simply scripted it out this way to contrast the behaviour if the first attribute was read-only vs not read-only. I found the issue on a page in our app that was simply drag-and-drop the VO from the data control on the page.
It's quite annoying, because our particular use case that hit this error is a "save" button on the page. If the commit operation doesn't return any errors (and it doesn't in this use case!), we add a JSF message saying "save successful" - then the attribute errors are further added later in the page lifecycle, so we get 3 messages: "Save successful" and "Fix this error" and "Tried to set read-only attribute" - quite confusing to the end-user when the only message they should see is "fix this error."
At any rate, the fix is to simply re-order the attributes in the page definition - that doesn't affect the UI at all, other than to fix this issue.

Issue with Parent child dashboards using SWFLoader component

Hello Gurus,
I am using Parent-child dashboards approach in our project.
I have multiple child files embedded in Parent dashboard using the SWFLoader (directly passing the URL as SWFLoader value) to load child dashboards. All the child, parent swf's are saved in the same intranet folders.
When I open the parent SWF, everything loads fine in the intranet.
But for some users, when they open from the intranet, the child dashboard doesnt load up properly or size of the dashboard gets reduced to a small version. (Iam sure that it has nothing to do with the access/privileges)
Any thoughts/ideas what could be causing an issue with child dashboard/resizing of the child dashboard.

LightweightDispatcher issue with Applets in Browser using Java 7, not 6

Spent the last year at work setting up some GUI JApplets for demos our of code. The JApplets house a number of layers of JPanels and JComponents, but should have no heavyweight components as children. I've set up standalone applications that run one of the JApplets as a child of a JFrame, and those demos have no trouble. When I run the same demo but as a JApplet in a browser, I get errors. Please note that the demo is a JApplet but written like the demo that uses a JFrame, so the JApplet causing an issue is a child of the JApplet the browser knows about.
The issue is seen when the user mouses-over the child JApplet. The listener of the component being moused-over is trying to send an event that the LightweightDispatcher is erroring trying to retarget. It does not seem to find the component that should be receiving the event. For reference, the JApplet implements the mouse-listener interface and is set as the mouse-listener for all its children recursively. Here is the error that is seen:

Any thoughts on what this could be?
I had a similar issue with key strokes not finding the focused JComponent within the child JApplet, but I made my own KeyboardEventManager to handle that issue. Unfortunately there are no paths like that to override for the mouse listeners, not to mention that there is no focused object for the events erroring.
I do see that when I stop adding the mouse-listeners then the error does not appear, so I'm sure its related to that.
I suppose the most important note here though is that the JApplets were built using Java 6, but the error is seen when running the JApplet with the 1.7 JRE. Also, the JApplet is opened using a JNLP. When the JNLP is set to run at 1.6+ the demo runs fine, when set to 1.7+, the error is seen.
Please let me know if anyone has seen this or has a solution, or if I should report this as a bug to Oracle.

This shouldn't be the case. You did make sure you are pointing the applet at the plug in correct? That means you are using an <object> tag as opposed to the <applet> tag in the HTML file?
If not, run your HTML page through the HtmlConverter that comes with the plugin and try using the resulting HTML.
