Agent not showing up: restart services

Running 8.02 SU4.  We moved an agent into a new team, and they aren't showing up in that team.  I've double checked the config, logged in/out of Supervisor Desktop..still nothing.
I imagine we may need to restart some services. Does anyone know which service I should restart, and if that would affect logged in agents? I know some
Desktop Services can be restarted without agents knowing, but some kick agents out.

Please refer to the following defect, this was found in 8.0 and is supposed to be fixed in SU4

-Restart the cisco desktop synch service after the manual synch of directory services on both servers
Also make sure that the primary server is in Master status

    I am using SCOM 2007 R2 CU4 in my environment. I want to do a service monitoring on specific agents. When i try creating this service monitor which comes under the Management pack template  when i select the service which i want to monitor it does not
    show all the services in the drop down.
    For example - I have Windows audio service which is present on the machine, But it is not showing in the service list. 
    So from the services stating from "W" i see only 5 in SCOM and in services.msc in the Agent i see more than 5.

    So based on your above suggestion, If the services are already managed  / monitored by a specific
    management pack those services will not appear here in the Wizard while creating this type of a Management pack object alert right ?
    If that is the case why does not the same reflect here in the operations console in the Services monitor
    TAB ?

  • Wlst command listWebServices() does not show all web services in the domain

    Hi, I am trying to use wlst command listWebServices() to display all web services of a domain. It seems that it only displays the web services of enterprice applications (ear apps), but it does not show the web services of web applications (war apps). If I pass ear appliication name and one of its web module to listWebServices, it will show the web services that belong to the web module of this application. However if I pass war application name and its web module name to listWebServices, it will return "Unable to find the SOA Composite or Service. Oracle UCM Native Web Services", although I can see from wls admin console or em that this web application does have a couple of web services.
    I also tried to call listWebServicePolicies, again it returned "Unable to find any Web Services with the specified Application".
    My purpose of doing above is to use wlst to detach/attach web service policies for some web services. Since I cannot find the web services, I off course cannot detach/attach policies.
    Does anyone have any clue how to find web services using wlst command that belong to a war application, and then detach/attach policies ? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    As of UCM version 11.1.1.6, Oracle UCM Web Services are managed from Enterprise Manager in Fusion Middleware Control, not Weblogic Admin Console!

    Setting up GenericSoapService in WLS to use WS-Security:
    Go to FMW Enterprise Manager. http://wlshost:7001/em
    In the tree, navigate to Weblogic Domain -> <Domain Name> -> and click on UCM_server1. (If the managed server for WCC is named something other than UCM_server1, click on that name.)
    From the UCM_server1 drop down menu, select "Web Services".
    On the "Oracle Infrastructure Web Services" tab, click the GenericSoapPort link.
    Once there you can set the policies you want and restart the server!

  • New agent not show in grid control

    I had 10.2.0.1 agent register in grid control 10.2.0.4.
    I delete agent from grid control OEM target GUI interface. delete agent home directory from target machine,
    then I install a 10.2.0.4 agent on target machine, but this agent did not show up in the grid control OEM . why?

    You can check the status of deleted targets in setup -> Management Services and Repository -> deleted targets (click on the number)
    In this screen check the status, make sure your targets have fully deleted before trying to re-add them.
    You can also do a force remove.

  • Maps is not showing in location services

    How do I get it to show up so I can turn location off and on in Maps? Other apps are there but not Maps. I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 7. Thanks!

    Standard troubleshooting...
    1. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider.  Slide to power off.  Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
    2. Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
    3. Remove apps from Recently Used (multi-tasking) list...
    - From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
    - Swipe up on the app preview card to remove it from the list
    - Press the home button when done.
    4. Restore with your backup.
    5. Restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
    6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

    I have installed and configured system 11.1.1.3 and created and deploy applications in Workspace using EPMA. However when I open the Foundation list, I do not see EPM Architect in the list. Is there something I need to do to create EPM in shared services? All the functions of EPMA seem to be working properly.

    ANyone else have this problem? I log into my account; switch to the My Services Tab and then hit the Green B and all I see is "BundleComponent".

  • 7975 Not showing Extension Mobility service

    I'm seeing an odd difference in behavior between 7970 and 7975 phone models surrounding Extension Mobility. This is on a UCM 6.1(2) install.
    The environment has been using 7970 as their primary production phone model for some time. Extension Mobility has been configured without issue and working as expected.
    The first batch of 7975 phones arrived last week for new users. The same process was followed to enable EM on these phones (enable Extension Mobility and subscribe the service to the device); however, when the Services button is pressed, the service does not appear as an option. There is no error displayed on the device, the list is just blank.
    Has anyone run into this or have ideas what has changed in the 7975 XML behavior?

    When you use firmware release 8.3(3) with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.x, you must use Cisco Unified Communications Manager engineering special release. If this is not used, you will receive an XML parse error when you login or logout of a Cisco Unified IP Phone. Take a look at this bug“CSCsj79645”.

  • Connections not showing after restart

    I just upgraded to version 1.5.0.53, imported my connection settings from my previous installation (1.3), and everything works great, until I close the program.
    When I run the program again, the connections tab displays nothing after I click on the + to expand the list. The only way to get these back (not sure why this works), is to close version 1.5, open 1.3, and reopen 1.5. When I do that the new instance of 1.5 has all the connections.
    Any idea why my connections are dropped like that?

    I think that can come from your JDBC version and if you have different ORACLE_HOME that can complicates the situation.
    Try to do this test:
    ====>Create a SQLDEV.CMD, in your SQLDEV_HOME (where there is sqldeveloper.exe you used to launch) :
         SET ORACLE_HOME=%CD%
    START sqldeveloper.exe
    ====>Launch the SQLDEV.CMD
    Let me know if that changes the behaviour....

  • CF 9 not showing up in Perfmon. Cannot add CF counters.

    Hi,
    This is a brand new enterprise install of 64-bit Coldfusion 9 on Windows 2008 server.
    Coldfusion Application Server 9 is not showing up as service in windows Reliability and Performance Monitor (perfmon). CFSTAT and Performance Monitoring are enabled inside the CF Admin. When I click on cfstat.bat the command prompt window displays information for a millisecond and then goes away.

    Is there a solution for this? I cannot add any Coldfusion counters to Perfmon. I am really dependent on perfmon for tracking CF server performance.

    When checking the files
    XML Config: C:\ColdFusion9\runtime/servers/coldfusion/SERVER-INF/jrun.xml - is configured correctly.
    But this one is missing from my directory: Log File: C:\ColdFusion9\runtime/logs/coldfusion-metrics.log
    What am I doing wrong here?
    EDIT: In the process of setting up metrics I discovered that after CF reinstall CF server monitor is refusing to log me in. It just sits there and does nothing:

    You also are not showing any cellular service. Have you contacted your provider regarding that? Regarding your WiFi, do you have wifi turned on in settings? Did you get your phone to show up in iTunes on your computer? I think we are dealing with several issues since you said that you have a message on your phone to connect to iTunes and you don't have cellular service.
