AIA 11g ABCS compilation error

We are having issues with our ABCS compilations (trying this on Jdev 11.1.1.2).. The error message is ..
Error(17,60): Failed to compile bpel generated classes. failure to compile the generated BPEL classes for BPEL process "SyncCustomerPartyListEbizReqABCSImpl" of composite "default/SyncCustomerPartyListEbizReqABCSImpl!1.0" The class path setting is incorrect. Ensure that the class path is set correctly. If this happens on the server side, verify that the custom classes or jars which this BPEL process is depending on are deployed correctly. Also verify that the run time is using the same release/version.
It’s failing on composite.xml, and the error is at SyncCustomerPartyListEbizReqABCSImpl… We have already deployed the referenced/related artifacts into our Weblogic server. Please help.

In JDeveloper have you added aia.jar using Tools -> Preferences -> SOA ?.
This error usually indicates a problem with embedded Java code. This could be because of missing aia.jar library.

1.Does any of ur forms supports Graphics which is no longer supported in Forms 11g.
2.Does it any of ur forms supports Triggers, code e.g. using OLE2 without using Webutil..
3.Even icons and passwords r Case Sensetive
4.Forms during compilation may have in-consistancy between package Specification and Bodies...

Regarding ur SQL Statment Error u might need to upgrade to ORACLE 10.2.0.3 to Solve such a problem

IOS improved packaging SDK is missing compile-abc.exe error

I am trying to test out the new and improved iOS packaging on my Windows machine and I am having some trouble getting it to work. I am using AIR 4.0.1170 for Flex developers and as the announcement says, added "-useLegacyAOT no" to my packaging options in FB. I believe it is in the correct spot because moving it to other places in the packaging options gives me syntax errors and when I do "-useLegacyAOT yes", it packages just fine, but takes a really long time. I keep getting the following error:
SDK is missing file C:\{my 4.0 sdk path}/lib/aot/bin/compile-abc/compile-abc.exe
Sure enough, navigating to that path shows compile-abc does not exist. Any ideas of what I may be doing wrong?

[Compiler] Error #1063: Unable to open file: /alchemy-darwin-v0.5a/avm2-libc/lib/asmachine.abc

Can anyone give input on receiving this error when compiling? I've come across it a few times. The current project is compiling libjpg from www.ijg.org/
[Compiler] Error #1063: Unable to open file: /projects/zaalabs/alchemy-darwin-v0.5a/avm2-libc/lib/asmachine.abc.
There is no trace of this file, however within the achacks/gcc script there is a line:
$machimp="$libc/lib/asmachine.abc";
Referencing this file. Is this something that wasn't released as part of the 0.5a? Is there a workaround?
Anyone had success with a workaround, or anyone find a magical copy of asmachine.abc?

I configured webutil on Application server 10g on linux. but when i compile the demo form on application server using

For some reason it's not writing the file (but trying to read it?) and I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Oracle JDBC Driver Compile Errors

I'd like to try out this new Preview Edition but I get the following errors:
Error(22,8): class oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleCallableStatement is not public; cannot be accessed from outside of package oracle.jdbc.driver
Error(23,8): class oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleTypes is not public; cannot be accessed from outside of package oracle.jdbc.driver
These erors occur at the import statements:

import oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleTypes;
when I attempt to compile a JDev 10.1.3 project in the 11g Technology Preview Edition. Any idea why?

Thanks for the quick response. I created a new application in 11tp from scratch. I created a View Object and pasted the offending code into it and got the same compile errors. I actually got the code about a year ago from Steve's Not Yet Documented Applications. He has since removed the App from the page, changed the code and added it to the Dev Guide. The sample app showed how to bind a View object to a REF Cursor returned from a stored procedure and it looked something like this:

Changing the code to look more like what is now in the DEV GUIDE will more than likely work because he eliminates the need for the OracleCallableStatement.
This brings me to my next point. If migration is not currently supported, will it be when the production release of JDEV 11g is available? Shame on me for just quickly skimming the release notes but when the import wizard ran on my project it did not warn me that the feature is not supported or that problems are likely. Upon resolving the issues with the callable statement, I had significant other compile errors in my jspx pages that will probably not be as trivial to fix. If project upgrades are not performed "easily" it will certainly push the 11g adoption date out considerably.

I have stuck up with impleamentation of functionality to achieve following-
I have class ABC and have multiple members in that. I want to give compiler error if the field type is List or non-primitive. I am trying this with AspectJ. But could not accomplish the task. Can somebody please suggest me some method or way to get this done ?

I suggest using JDK 6 and javac for this task. To get started, see the packages javax.annotation.processing and javax.lang.model.*; also the JDK comes with an example checker in

Getting Internal compilation error In BPEL

In the log Messages i could see the validation succesfully done. but the compilation is getting failed.

Compilation error in jsp script with weblogic 9.1 server

Hi All,
          i am using weblogic 9.1 compiler to compile my jsp code.
          it gives me compilation error.
          The root cause of the error is %% which comes in the code.
          for e.g take this code:-
          <%
          System.out.println("%%abc");
          %>
          this code will give error while error.
          here it is identifing %% as termination tag!
          same code works in tomcat & weblogic 8.1
          can anyone give any information in this regard.

Getting more info on compilation errors

Hello,
I'm making a web application for my course in computer science.
Problem is I'm getting a rather non-descript error at compile-time:
"Error: Internal compilation error, terminated with a fatal exception"
Surely there must be way of wringing out some more information on this error from jdev?

Which version of JDeveloper are you using? (Help->About)
This used to be a problem in early 10.1.3 versions- but if you are using 11g or 10.1.3.4 you shouldn't be running into this anymore.
If you are using a recent version - then please paste the code that is causing this issue.
(You can also try to switch the compiler in the project properties to use the client compiler and not OJC).

Compilation error warning

Could someone please let me know that if it is a problem for querying database when there is compilation error warning?
I've often received warning errors after creating a type, such as :" Type created with compilation error".

Note: The odd_even function has the following function call:

again, just calling the funciton from the command line (SQL *Plus) works.

You can test it with the following as acces modifiers and the progrm will run Ofcourse it will give you compilation error.

I've been working with different versions of jdk since, if I'm not mistaken, jdk1.0.6 and never was able to get *.class with compilation errors. It was true for Windows*, Linux, and Solaris*.
About the 'private'/'protected' modifier for the type (class) - it makes perfect sence not to allow it there: why would anyone want to create a type if no one can access it? There should be a reason for restricting your types - let's say, any inner class can be private/protected.
For ex., you shouldn't have compile problems with this:
class Test
public static void main(String s[])
System.out.println("Hello!How are You!!");
private class ToTest{}
Sorry, but I don't really know where you can read up on that.

AIA 11g Erros with AIAB2BErrorHandlerInterface (1.0)

We have installed AIA 11g. After the installation, some of the composites on EM are showing as not available or errored out .. e.g. On em, when we click on AIAB2BErrorHandlerInterface (1.0), it says "The composite AIAB2BErrorHandlerInterface (1.0) is not available. This could happen because either the composite has been undeployed or soa-infra has not yet loaded this composite. Unable to register service." .. We tried to redploy, but its erroring out again .. We have the same issue with other installed AIA componsites, i.e., AIAB2BInterface, ReloadProcess, AIASyncErrorHandlingBPELProcess ... the installation log has the following ..

we edit the setDomainEnv and setSOADomainEnv and change USER_MEM_ARGS to the following entry:
USER_MEM_ARGS="-Xms512m -Xmx2048m -Xss256k -XX:+UseParallelGC -XX:GCHeapFreeLimit=20 -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m -XX:NewSize=128m -XX:MaxNewSize=256m -XX:SurvivorRatio=5"
We run AIA 11g on a small Linux system with 5,6 GB RAM and one with 12 GB RAM. We have no problems with composites or out of memory exception.

No BSR in AIA 11g? only OER or OSR?

Can you please help me understand what will be used as SOA repository in AIA 11g? If you don't have license for OER or OSR, you cannot have SOA repository in AIA 11g?

AIA heavily leverages SOA to achieve application integration. As such, we introduce large volume of SOA assets, including various types of services (of different architectural significance, such as EBS, EBF, ABCS, and etc.), objects, and etc. The visibility to these assets are achieved via SOA Repository. Here I'd like to make a specific differentiation between 'integration' and 'visibility'. These are two different value propositions / problem spaces achieved via two distinct oracle product lines.
Out of box, AIA have pre-built integration with Oracle's SOA Repository (OER). It includes
(1) solution pack: bundle of all pre-built AIA services and objects .For the 11gR1 AIA release (FP-only release), it contains the entire Enterprise Object Library definition
(2) AIA extended harvester: allow users to harvest their custom-built, AIA-compliant SOA composites and etc.
(3) Documented best-practices: while users may execute AIA harvester any time one chooses to, there are a number of key lifecycle milestones for which the harvesting shall be run and be conducive to the overall SOA development lifecycle. The AIA Dev. Guide outlines that. Further, AIA development topology and its uses of OER, and etc.
While AIA provides contents and pre-built integration, the SOA visibility and ensuing benefits are among the main value propositions OER offers. To revamp these benefits, users are to license OER.
On a different note, content publishing to OSR is achieved via OER in the 11g release.
