Alert when a page updates

Question

I have a page that I must check each day. It is a stocks analysis page that gives advice on what to buy/sell. The page updates between 1 and 2 each day and it is very beneficial to see it right away. It is always the same page (same url) and then just update it. (There is no RSS feed on it.)
Has anyone found a way to have Safari RSS let you know when a page is updated? Or is there other means to do this with email or IM? Or maybe there is a widget that someone knows of.
