Align Image to center

I can't seem to find how to align an image in the center of a
row. I can find left, right, top, bottom, etc. I have a row with an
image, but it sits to the left and I want it in the center.
thank...sorry for the newbie question!

  • Having problem aligning images in slideshow

    Thw slide show can be viewed here http://www.jimslounge.com/slideshow/bio.swf
    The images are added to a background MovieClip they are set to align in the center both horizontal and vertical.  They usually do but often they are a little off and sometimes they are way off.  Pics are added tha a Sprite called holder then holder is added to the background MovieClip holderBG the problem occures in the displaySlide function.  I've noticed the alignment problem seems to go away when I create a new instance of holder there but when I do that the memory usage steadly climes higher with each new slide.

  • Can't get Photoshop CC panorama maker to align images properly on distant horizons.

    Can't get Photoshop CC panorama maker to align images properly for objects further away (ie For distant horizons) Tried reloading CC but no better. Tried manually aligning images but when finished seems to jump and misalign everything as if I'd used auto. Is there anything I can do / doing wrong or is there a software glitch. Never had this problem until started using CC?

    Hi Guys - Thanks for the info.
    I have now downloaded the latest upgrade for Photoshop CC 2014 (the one that now opens photoshop with a face like 'The Scream') and it seems to have cured the problem. However, now Photoshop couldn't run any slower if it tried. Really really slow, and the more Panoramas I try to do, the slower it gets. Oh well, at least it works now.

  • Align type to center of type, not to its bounding box.

    I'm trying to align a line of type to a basic object by clicking on the align to center button. Illustrator aligns the type to its bounding box, wich in many cases depending on the font used, is not the center of the type. Is there a way to tell ai. to align to the center of the type and not to its bounding box?

    Kurt is right, without the effect path >> outline object, would look like this.
    I like kurt's method of doing this better, but another way is:
    Draw a dummy rectangle, exactly the height of the type. Scale this holding down shift so it is larger thatn the bounding box, group this with the type, then align.
    Make the rectangle stroke none when done.

  • "Merge to HDR" & "Align Images" will not work with 5000+ pixels

    Merge to hdr will work almost instantly for any size image as long as you dont use the "align Image" function. When used, it drastically slows down at about 4000 + pixel images then craps out completely at 5000 + pixels.
    I dont get it, worked just fine in CS2, now it doesnt work in CS4?
    merge to hdr is useless without the "align" function

    Hi,
    The Ps CS6 public beta version contains the same camera support as found in Ps CS5/5.5 compatible CR 6.6. There will be future updates to CR 7 for Ps CS6 to pick up more camera support. The Nikon D800 NEF files are not supported, yet.
    If you like to work with your D800 files in the public beta build now, you'll have to get the DNG Converter 6.7 from here: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/cameraraw6-7/
    and convert your files to DNG.

  • Aligning Text in Center of JTextArea

    This is a part of my previous question.
    Is there a way of aligning text, left-center-right in the JTextArea.
    Someone had mentioned JTextPane for aligning Text in the center. What is the code for this?
    Thanks again for your help.

    I'm sorry. I am new at Java so some of these concepts that may be clear to you aren't as obvious to me.
    I inserted the code as you instructed. However, I am not sure if I have to include something else.
    Please advise:
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class HelloClassTwoLine
    public static void main(String args[])
    JTextArea outputTextArea = new JTextArea(); //Create listbox object
    JScrollPane scroll= new JScrollPane(outputTextArea); //create vertical scroll object
    ===> added to original code JTextField textField=new JTextField();
    ===> added to original code textField.setHorizontalAlignment(textField.CENTER);
    outputTextArea.setText("Hello, This is Java 374\n" + //set text in list box
    "This is Java 374 with Ravi");
    JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, scroll, //text is argument in JScrollPane object
    "Java Program #2", JOptionPane.INFORMATION_MESSAGE);
    System.exit(0);
    thank you again for your help

  • Center Align images?

    I had just finished my first page which I saved. I then checked the page on line and saw where I needed to put in a "named anchor". When I tried to do that all of the images after that point moved to the left.  They were previously centered.  The one image above the "named anchor" entry point stayed centered.  In some of the subsequent divs where there was only text it stayed centered.   I cannot imagine any reason the "named anchor" activity would effect the image centering but I am stuck.  I checked the image divs and the CSS says: text-align: center; but they are all aligned left except for the image above where I tried to place the "named anchor".  For instance the first of the following two images (LayoutDiv1) is perfectly centered and the 2nd image (Pic1) is on the left side of it's div as are all of the rest even though the CSS descriptions all say "centered".    #LayoutDiv1 {      clear: both;      float: left;      margin-left: 0;      width: 100%;      display: block;      padding-bottom: 15px;      text-align: center;      padding-top: 20px; } #pic1 {      clear: both;      float: left;      margin-left: 0px;      width: 100%;      display: block;      text-align: center;      border-image-width: 1px; }

    Since you have your page online please post a link to it.
    Partial scraps of CSS code no HTML don't help much.

    I resized them all in Photshop so neither the width or height would exceed the width or height of the background. I'm not sure what you mean by properly croped but their dimensions do fit.  I also noticed that if you see an image misaligned you'll notice later that the same image will be aligned.  One of the folks a greensock suggested that it might be a bug in the Adobe loader so I'll try their loader and see if it makes a differencs.

  • Aligning webpage to center in Dreamweaver

    Hello. I'm a begginer and I'm trying to align the second page of the whole site. I managed to center align perfectly the first page by clicking the border but when I export the second page from Photoshop to Dreamweaver the code CSS appears and that's the only thing different from the two that doesn't let me select the border so I can center align. See that the first page has +280 lines of code while the second one has +400 lines. I also can't find the zoom tool. Please see the images and hope a response from someone.

    Tables are used for html e-mails and when you need to display tabular data like charts and spreadsheets.  They are not appropriate for modern web site layouts.
    If you want to learn how to build web sites, do not let Photoshop (or any graphics editor) generate your HTML code.  Use graphics apps for images only.   Use DW to build your HTML and CSS code.
    I suggest starting with one of the pre-built CSS Layouts in DW.  File > New > Blank page > HTML.  Select a layout from the 3rd panel and hit Create button.
    From that point, it's a simple matter of adding your own text, images, CSS backgrounds and other styles.  SaveAs index.html (your home page) and preview in browsers.
