All my mails in iCloud suddenly disappeared from the inbox at about the same time that my email account was apparently hacked. How can I retrieve those mails?

Even if I logged in and choose mail, my old emails all disappeared and new ones just does not appear at all

For reasons known only to apple, the main sort priority now is the artist. ANd when you have a compilation album you end up with multiple 'albums' that are really one. You can right click on the songs and edit the info for each song, making the info right for all of them.....it may not be perfect but it works for me. (My music is all ripped from cd's and not downloaded from Apple)
In your case, you could mark each song as 'various artists' and then they'll all be under the same cover

Do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Reformat the drive using Disk Utility/Erase Mac OS Extended (Journaled), then click the Option button and select GUID. Then re-install the OS.

You can condense multiple clips that are stacked above each other into a nest. The nest appears as a single clip in the Timeline. If you need to modify the individual clips inside after you have created the nest, it can be expanded again by double clicking it.

Not sure where these hard disk folders are located that you are referring to? Finder, Finder tool bar, Finder side bar, Desktop, Dock?
More then likely they are an alias that not longer point to the orginals, thus the question mark.
I would reboot. Delete icons if an alias and just recreate by dragging from the source. Try right click (control) click to remove.

I can't turn on Mail in Settings. Earlier i tried to e-mail a document from the GoodReader app through my Gmail account. Apparently, my iPad2 didn't like that. Also, now when i click on Mail on the Home screen, the Mail screen shows no mailboxes.

Now, when i tap the Mail button on the Home screen, it goes to a blank mail page, with no mailboxes, whereas before it went straight to my Gmail account. The Mail button is grayed to Off, and when i press it to turn it On, all i get is a message that says Turning on Mail, but nothing happens. Suggestions?

Songs suddenly disappeared from the lists

I tried to sync my Ipod touch, but when I looked, all songs have disappeared, although the space remains used (the bar shows other as the type of information stored).
I tried reseting the device, but the situation is the same after it.
Has anyone suffered the same problem?

The only solution thats worked for me is to delete all data and then re-sync EVERYTHING. This is not an acceptable solution, and I can't seem to find anything else from apple.

I just bought a Macbook Air 256 computer. I use three different email accounts. I have two questions: On Windows I simply go to Google, click on Mail, and one of the three email accounts comes up. How can I do this on the Macbook? Thanks for your response

In your PC, you accessed to your Google Mail account using your browser. In Mac, the process is the same, but as your Mac is new, first you have to log in Google with your Google account.
If you want, instead of having to open Safari every time you want to check mail, you can use the Mail application included in OS X. Open System Preferences > Mail, Contacts and Calendars, and add all your mail accounts. They will be automatically set up to be used in Mail, so just open the app.
Then, after opening Mail, the process of deleting more than one mail is as simple as choosing the ones you want to delete pressing the Command key, and then, press the trash button in the toolbar

I am trying to select records from a detail table by grouping it. The table has more than 1 million records and the query is not performing well. The basic question is how to select a distinct record from a table which matches all values in one column and any in the other.

The requirement is to select projects that have matching SCRID, SCVID from TBP such that
all distinct SCRID should match and within that and any SCVID match will do. (A "AND" between each SCRID and an "OR" for each SCVID in that SCRID like 'SCRID = 1 AND (SCVID = 1 OR SCVID = 2 OR SCVID = 3) AND SCRID = 2 AND (SCVID =....)
So, for the sample data it should return us PROID = 1
I have few queries written for this:

This query performs well but the cost is very high, hardcoding, sorting.
The 2nd option is to:
SELECT pjs.PROID proid
FROM TBP tbp,
PJS pjs
WHERE pjs.SCVID = tbp.SCVID
AND pjs.SCRID = tbp.SCRID
GROUP BY pjs.PROID
HAVING COUNT(DISTINCT pjs.SCRID) = (SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT SCRID ) FROM TBP)
This has a low cost but runs slowly.
One more way I tried was with the IN operator like
SELECT DISTINCT PROID FROM PJS A,TBP T WHERE T.SCRID = 1 AND T.SCVID = A.SCVID
AND PROID IN (SELECT PROID FROM PJS A,TBP T WHERE T.SCRID = 2 AND T.SCVID = A.SCVID
AND PROID IN (...SO ON with each DISTINCT SCRID.
Again this involves too much of sorting.
