All services, one bill equals clear pricing

I know BT are migrating accounts onto one bill over the coming months.
This is very important as when you consider alternative comms/tv providers such as Sky or Virgin it's very clear to understand how much everything bundled together will cost you.
Whether you like them or not they do this rather well.
BT need to take a strong hint from this as having 3 account numbers as I do it's not as simple to see how much you are paying with everything seperated, and therefore difficult to assess your needs, options and value for money in comparison to other providers.
I would like to log in (paper free of course) see all my services and one clear bill for the products I have, surely then this approach would mean better value for us all as we'd then all know what we're paying with a more clearly priced structure.
This would also benefit BT as it would allow prospective customers to say( for example) "Iv'e got tv phone and broadband  and it costs £x per month which is £x cheaper than whoever".
Sort out this antiquated system BT you're getting left behind here!

I've swapped to this after having two seperate accounts, what a difference it's made.
The online billing still flags two accounts though, however the one paper bill combined is easy enough. Online when you click download bill you get the bill all in one

    My parents sister and I currently use the old Alltel Family National Freedom 900 plan and have four basic phones. We would like to upgrade 2 of the phones to iPhones and leave the other two phones as basic.  Do we need to change plans?  Would we need to switch all four of us to a More Everything plan?   Or is it now possible to have the two basic phones stay on the old ALLTEL plan and use More everything for the 2 smartphones/iPhones AND keep everything on one bill?
    To restate slightly, can this transaction be done online, and will the website calculate the total monthly service charge per month for all 4 phones at checkout (hopefully using the 2 mentioned plans)?
    So far, I've run through the process, and it looks surprisingly possible.  But I am very wary of clicking the red button without assurance. This may need to be sorted out at a store.

    It is possible but you cannot have 2 family share plans on one acct, you can do single line plans for the upgraded phones and leave the other 2 if they are on a share plan, or move all to the more everything share plan, or you could move 2 lines to a sub account so that you are under the same account but you will get 2 separate bills. I would definitely go to a store or call if that is easier for you to go over all your options, good luck :)

  • HP Officejet All In One-Poor customer service

    I purchased an Officejet all in one on 10/20, and had the charge added to my credit card.  On 11/11 I had to call tech support regarding an error I was getting about a "spooler".  I called again on 11/15 and 11/18.  They are now telling me it isn't the printer, but the computer.  Only one of the times did I get someone who spoke English that could be understood.
    I received my credit card statement today with a charge to HP for $68 more than was agreed.  I called the number on my credit card, and Surprise!, I was connected to tech support.  I went on line and got the number for customer service.  They told me I had purchased the printer through (Surprise agian!) tech support.   I asked if they, being customer service, could not help me with the problem, and they said no it would have to be tech support.  I now have to wait until mid-day tomorrow to talk with someone, (if they do happen to call).  I am so frustrated with HP at this point!!  Customer service should be exactly that, customer service!!  The issue with my printer is still not resolved, and probably will never be.  I have purchased my last product from them!!

    This is a user to user forum, for the issues with billing you will need to contact HP.
    For the spooler issues someone here may be able to help you if you would read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth?

  • One bill and customer service complaint

    March of last year I purchased 2 cell phones from Verizon and the wireless store manager told me that I would be entitled to $15 discount per month to which he had also sent me several emails confirming this so after several phone calls I was eventually able to get the $15 discount on my one bill for 12 months, but... The problem I have now is that I called on Wednesday 25th July to have this discount extended and after speaking to a rep that was playing the I don't understand what you are asking for I then asked to be transferred to a supervisor but the rep transferred to one bill who then transferred me back to billing. I then got to speak to Darrel who told me that he really understood my dilemma and he sent a ticket to for the $15 discount to be applied along with the standard $5 mthly discount for a 2 yr agreement he told me that he would call my home # on Friday 27th and guess what no call. Can a responsible Verizon rep/supervisor or manager please contact me regarding this issue, please. PS when I first called I was told that i wasn't in the system to receive the $250 visa gift card(although I checked the options when I renewed in May), but the rep said he was placing it on my account.. Could this also be verified thanks for taking the time to read this

    That is expected behavior.
    You can see the all addresses of account in the list as long as the purpose condition is satisfied. Linking is only for defaulting and not for controlling. If you do not want to see you can create a different account for the B address.

    C3180 Photosmart All-in-one won't print. Gives message  'clear paper jam.'  There is no paper jam.  About a month ago there was a paper jam, but was removed.  It worked fine since then until yesterday.  I've tried all the HP trouble-shooting suggestions- unplug, take apart, manually move carriage, etc. and nothing has solved the problem.  The paper does not advance...all that happens if I try to print is a lot of noise like carriage going back and forth and after a/b 1-2 minutes it will show the "red X" blinking on the printer and a message on the computer screen, "Clear paper jam."  When the problem first started yesterday the message was that the printer was "Out of paper."  I need to print a resume and this is just the wrong time for someone such as myself with little computer knowledge to try to figure it out.  Thanks for any suggestions!

    You may not need to remove/re-add. Try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here:

    It can fix a lot on its own (especially connectivity problems) and if not give a better idea of what is going on.

    You will really need to explain in a little more detail what you mean by "two sets of numeric data in one cell".
    Also, is this Numbers for OS X? You are in the iOS forum.

    Unfortunately when you have two phones on one account it is not possible to have two separate bills.
    Your bill should show the charges for both phones separately. Your can check which phones bill you are reading by looking at the top right of the page where it says 'For phone number:'

  • Since I installed Mountain Lion operating system, I cannot print.  I have a HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-one printer.  I get a message when I try to update the software "Server not available  The software update service is currently not available."

    After installing Mountain Lion, my printer doesn't work.  I know it is connected as it shows up,  The message is:
    "The printer software was installed incorrectly.  Please reinstall the software for this printer or conact the anufacturer for assistance."
    I used the disk that came with the printer as when I go to the HP site, it tells me that Apple has the drivers needed.  I unistalled the printer and reistalled.  Previously, I just went to the HP website an everything worked fine for drivers, program, etc.  I never had to use the CD that came with the printer.  My printer is:  HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-one, it is wireless, but I even took the computer and plugged it into the printer to make sure that everything was connected.  Can someone please help me to get this working,

  • Unable to access HP Photosmart 7520e All-in-One Embedded Web Service

    My HP Photosmart 7520e all-in-one is already connected wirelessly, but when I try to access it on the web, by typing in the ip address, it keeps asking for a user name and password. I assumed it is the SSID and Network Key for my wireless router, but it doesn't work when I enter it. There are no directions on how to set this up, find out this info, change it or anything. And, after 3 unsuccessful attempts I am locked out. This is assinine. I need help but can't find an  answer anywhere regarding this issue!

    I see that you are having some login issues with the Photosmart 7520 and have been locked out as result. I believe I know the area you are trying to access, but to make sure, are you taking the I.P address that is assigned to the printer and entering that into the address bar in your web browser?
    If so, this login would not be the SSID & password for your router, unless you made it that. This password can be reset by restoring the network defaults on the printer.
    To do that, touch Wrench icon in right upper corner and then Wireless Menu. Touch Restore Network Defaults and then confirm. Once restored, you will need to run the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer.
    Try accessing the page again. Let me know if this resolved your issue.

  • HP Envy 4500 all in one wont scan or copy

    Hi all. I have a 4 month old Envy 4500 all in one printer & it has stopped scanning &/or copying. 
    It wil print from any of the laptops on the network but will not scan a document or copy either from the desktop icon or directly from the panel on the printer. 
    I've tried everything, uninstalling & re installing from CD rom, I've run the Scan & copy driver doctor & that says there's a problem with the driver, tells me to unplug the pirnter & restart computer, done all that & still nothing. 
    When you try to scan the printer draws the paper in & then the screen just sits for hours with the progress bar on "scanning" or "copying" & nothing happens. If you cancel the job (on pc or printer panel) even the "cancelling" sticks on the screen for hours, the only way to clear it is to shut down printer & restart, but still it doesnt fix it. 
    I think there's a fault with the arm thing that moves across the screen & copies/scans the document on the glass. 
    Its under warranty but I've tried everything for 3-4 days now & getting nowhere
    Someone please help 
    BTW. My wife laptop was on windows 8.1 & I was on Windows Vista but I have just changed to new laptop in last 24hrs with also Windows 8.1 but the problem started well before I changed my laptop from Vista AND exactly the same symptoms happen from my wifes pc with Windows 8.1.

    I do think (as I have all along that it is a hardware fault) 
    I will speak to Amazon as I cannot afford to be without a printer whilst it goes off for repair
    UPDATE: Amazon customer service is UNBELIEVABLE!! They're just sending a new printer out & once I get it I just need to send old one back. Love Amazon!

  • Paper Jam error message due to broken gear on Officejet Pro 8500 all-in-one printer

    3 year old HP Officejet Pro 8500 all-in-one printer (haven't used it much). Keeps telling "Paper Jam" although there is no paper jammed anywhere (searched meticulously with a flashlight after watching HP's tutorial videos on how to clear paper jams). I started searching on the Internet and found a couple of related videos on Youtube that pointed me in the right direction:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMFW1RRlDHEhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwbF2Vs_0gQ  I could hear a clicking noise on that area of the printer each time I turned it on, so I carefully took the black cap apart that was hidding the gear, and confirmed I had the same problem as in the youtube videos above. See picture below showing the white plastic gear part that has a large crack which causes the Paper Jam error message and renders the printer unusable. After Googling a little bit, seems like a relatively common issue and wonder why such a part like that is not made of a stronger material like metal (planned obsolescence maybe?). Does anybody know if there is a way of replacing the broken gear?  (I really care for the environment and I would like to avoid having to throw the relatively new and expensive all-in-way printer away) Thanks a lot in advance for the advice!

  • Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Ink Cartridge Problem Message

    Have/will soon "had" instant ink cartridge service.  Printer did not recognize that the black ink was out so I didnt get a black ink cartridge.  Couldnt wait for the mail service, so purchased all new HP cartridges and installed.  
    "Ink Cartridge Problem" Message came up and is now stuck in the machine, can't clear it.  The machine will not recognize any of the 4 brand new HP inks; that menu item has little red X for each cartridge and each one shows empty.....
    Removed all cartridges, cleaned all contacts, unplugged machine, did a "reset" on the menu via HP phone technician.....nope, nada, nothing.
    Did all above SEVERAL times.   Called HP back..."40 minutes wait time" .. wth...
    Anything else?  Does HP have to reset my machine to "recognize" regular cartridges???  
    Thoughts, suggestions?  (Besides don't buy HP again....I will not....I should know better by now!)

    I understand that you are getting a 'ink cartridge problem' message on your Officejet pro 8630.
    I would like to help.
    The printer does not have to be reset to recognize regular cartridges.
    Try going through the steps in the following document.

    Also, did you call technical support, or the Instant Ink department?
    If you called technical support at 1-800-474-6836, then I would recommend calling the Instant Ink Department.
