Allocating Values to other Time Members

Hi ALL,
We are on BPC 7.0 SP3 for Microsoft platform
Time Dim in my application looks like this
Year->Month->Work Week->Day (Day is Say 2009.Jun01)
I have created an input template which contains a Days in the column and product in rows. My requirement is, while sending data through the input schedule I should be able to allocate the value entered against the day 2009.Jun01(as part of input schedule).
For example users enters value 10 against 2009.Jun01 and  what i need to do is to populate this value to all the other Days belonging to that month.
I am trying to right a allocation logic using the following and if i can determine the parent and then the next parent of the value(2009.Jun01) being passed though the input template then i guess it shall work...
Please suggest if there can be some better way of doing this..
*RUNAllocation
*Description=Time Allocation
*DIM TIME what=%TIME_SET%; where=bas(?????])
*ENDALLOCATION
*commit

I would simplify the process and build the concept into the excel template. Maybe use a input area which may spread, followed by an EVDRE section that copies the days that have been selected or loaded with the values using standard excel concepts, to then send the values, instead of adding a script process for every combination.
I think in 7M SP4, the availability of PARENT as a property pulled in a dimension EVPRO is available, but if you need it for time, I would suggest adding the property to the dimension seperately, and then filling in th erelated parent value.  That way you could have multiple parent properties for those instances where you wish to allocate by week, month etc.
But I think the hard part is working out the variables for the script logic to be flexible enough to allocate based on the inbound send process.
Hope this helps.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus, latest ios8, and yes my location says it is being shared, but it is not.

    The firmware was likely changed and it's not compatible anymore or the disk is bad.
    I was able to boot using the Snow Leopard disc from both my new MBP and my girlfriends MB, but both said that OS X could not be installed on this computer, and I couldn't even use the disc utility to wipe the drive.
    Those disks don't have the hardware drivers your machine needs.
    Your going to need to get a Snow Leopard retail install disk from Amazon/elsewhere.
    Do I need to have a serial number to reinstall OS X?
    Thankfully No.

  • [Forum FAQ] How do I have Invoke-SqlCmd return a date value without adding time

    Introduction
    A select statement executed from Invoke-SqlCmd returns a value from a Date column, the value has "12:00:00 AM" appended.  The same select statement executed within SQL Server Management Studio displays the date properly without any time formatting.
    Sample data is as follows:
    How to have Invoke-SqlCmd return Date values without adding time for multiple Date type columns and pipe the output into CSV file?
    Solution
    In SQL Server 2012 or onwards, use the FORMAT() function to convert datetime values to date format when executing query from Invoke-SqlCmd. In earlier versions such as SQL Server 2008 R2, use the traditional CONVERT() function to format datetime values to
    different date formats(yyyy.mm.dd, mm/dd/yyyy, etc) when executing query from Invoke-SqlCmd. Then pipe the output of SQL query result into CSV file by specifying export-csv parameter. An example is as follows.
    Create a table named “Test_invokesqlcmd” that contains Date type columns in SQL Server.
    USE Test
    Go
    CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Test_invokesqlcmd](
        [id] [int] NOT NULL,
        [name] [varchar](20) NULL,
        [test1] [date] NULL,
        [test2] [date] NULL
    ) ON [PRIMARY]
    GO
    insert into [dbo].[Test_invokesqlcmd]
    values(1,'David','2014-10-15','2015-01-07'),(2,'Jane','2011-08-05','2012-11-7'),(3,'Crystal','2013-09-15','2010-02-24')
    Define a query string, execute it from Invoke-SqlCmd and save the query result to a CSV file.
    Scripts for SQL Server 2012:
    $query1 = @"
        use Test;
        SELECT FORMAT(test1,'d') as newtest1, FORMAT(test2,'d') as newtest2 from dbo.Test_invokesqlcmd
    write-host $query1
    Invoke-Sqlcmd -Query $query1 -ServerInstance localhost | export-csv -notypeinformation -path c:\Files\test.csv
    Scripts for SQL Server 2008 R2:
    $query2 = @"
        Use Test;
        SELECT CONVERT(varchar, test1, 102) as newtest1,CONVERT(varchar, test2, 102) as newtest2
        FROM dbo. Test_invokesqlcmd
    write-host $query2
    Invoke-Sqlcmd -Query $query2 -ServerInstance localhost | export-csv -notypeinformation -path c:\Files\test.csv
    Check the results in SQL Server PowerShell window and csv file.
    SQL Server 2012:
    SQL Server 2008 R2:
    Reference
    Using the Invoke-Sqlcmd cmdlet
    SQL Server Functions that helps to convert date and time values to and from string literals and other date and time formats
    Applies to
    SQL Server 2014
    SQL Server 2012
    SQL Server 2008 R2

  • Can family members added as part of the Family Share feature of iOS 8 really erase other family members devices with the Find My iPhone feature?

    I initiated a Chat session with Apple Support to see if this was really possible.  The answer I got was that it DID seem possible at this time.  If this is true, then Apple may want to look at giving the sharing device the option to disallow other family members from erasing that device remotely (or playing sound, entering lost mode).
    I would be comfortable allowing my wife to lock my iphone or erase it remotely if needed, but I would not want any of my kids to have that ability.
    Can somebody else confirm this could be done?
    My case # with Apple is: 668372718
    iPhone 5
    iOS 8
    Family Share
    Find My iPhone
    Good day,
    Ryan

    Just tested this.  You have to enter the Apple ID Password for the device you are trying to remote erase.  You CAN put the device in lost mode without the password, but you cannot initiate a remote wipe without the password for the device.

  • How do I graph multiple bit values on one time axis?

    I want to graph multiple bit values, all of which will change back and forth from 0 to 1, on the same time axis, but I don't want any visual overlap between the different bit value traces.  Now I could do this by graphing bit one as either 0 or 1, bit 2 as 2 or 3, bit 3 as 4 or 5, etc., but I would really rather have multiple Y axes showing 0 to 1, stacked vertically on the same time (X) axis.
    You could visualize this as multiple pens on a strip chart continuously recording different values.  Each pen has its own vertical area in which it writes, but all pens could be writing data from the same numerical range.
    Hmmm...  I think my description might be roughly as clear as mud, but if anyone out there can figure out what I am asking and has potential solutions, please let me know.
    Thanks!

    Thanks.  I will look at that VI, but I think I have already seen it.  My problem is that I have CAN data coming in for an hour or so, but the time interval between receiving specific CAN arbitration IDs varies, so I want to plot the X axis against specific, varying time values, not a standard dT.  I'm not sure I can do this on a digital graph, but I haven't given up hope yet.
    BTW, I am receiving 8-byte CAN packages.  Some of the bytes represent actual values, but I need to break others up into individual bit values to see error and status flag settings.  Once I break the bytes into bits, I convert from analog values to digital values.

  • Select more than one value at a time from an LOV?

    Is it possible to configure an LOV-based text field so more than one value at a time can be chosen from the drop-down LOV list? This is a user requirement for specifying multiple values in an SQL WHERE clause.

    Rather several select fields because single returned value is a functional limitation of <select>.

  • Entering charct. values at the time of GR

    Hi All...
    We have a Issue regarding raw material receiptu2026
    We r getting Ores (ROH) from different parties, they send test certificate with every lot. We need to enter the % of nickel or Chrome etc at the time of GR for PO. After that stock will move to quality stock where they will check the parameters and record. Purchase dept will compare the results.
    I tried this by giving Material class (001) for the material, but itu2019s not asking the characteristic value at the time of GR.
    My requirement is at the time of GR, system should ask the characteristic value..we dont want to manage stock in batches..
    Please share ur thoughts.
    srini

    During GR U can only enter Characteristics Value for Batch Class under Classification. For which Material should be Batch managed and use calss type 022 (if batches are at plant level) or 023 (if batches are material or client level). Create a class type of 022 or 023 and assign to Materail master and also activate batch management for the material and then try to create GR, it will allow to enter the values for characteristics.

  • Calculate a measure depending on the value of other dimension

    HI,
    I would like to know if it’s possible to calculate a measure depending on the value of other dimension. I want to calculate this measure in the Business Model and Mapping. I show you how I am trying to do it:
    http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/2496/imagenjp.png
    But when I try to make an aggregation of this measure then I get an error of consistency.
    I think a good example to make you to understand me is the function TODATE which calculates an aggregation depending on one time dimension. I would like to do the same thing but regarding to the value of other dimension.
    Can someone help me? Thanks a lot.

    Hi,
    Do you have that dimension table as a "Sources" in that BMM folder? if yes, then you can use the "Data Type" option and click on "show all logical sources". Then click on your fact table using which you want to do the calculation and then use this formula. After that you can have the aggregation.
    It should work.
    Thanks,
    Rohit

  • Filter to convert HTTP request to JNLP arguments fails every other time

    I want to pass HTTP request parameters to a Java Web Start program as arguments. I have implemented a filter which adds the arguments from the request parameters using XML DOM, and I also set the Last-Modified date to the current date/time. [ I am sort of thinking I should put the date as the file date -- not sure ]
    The filter works successfully ever other time I invoke a given URL. If I switch parameters, it looks like the filter works every time.
    When the filter works, there are HTTP GET and HEAD requests. When the filter fails, there are three HEAD requests and one GET request. Using the apache soap TCP Tunnel/Monitor, it looks like the HTTP request parameters aren't being passed for the second GET.

    Varad and Sc0tt,
    Thank you both for your responses.
    Varad – Yes, I can/will reduce the amount of data so it does not cause the tabular form to go over the 2000 field limit. If that is not possible, I will at least make the users aware of this issue. Since the same data is used for the other pages in the application, the users might want to keep all the data.
    Sc0tt – thanks for providing the information for your environment and settings. To plan for the future, we will have to set the value to something high also, around 8-10K range, and adjust later if we have to.
    Thank you both, I will mark both of your answers as helpful and the question as being answered.

  • Fails to find HD on boot up every other time

    Starting in mid-November, shortly after replacing the battery and upgrading to 10.4.3, my ibook would not find the HD during boot up every other time I went to use it. I tried booting from the installation disc 10.4, resetting, PRAM, PMU, NVRAM, etc. but nothing short of putting the computer away for the rest of the day helped. The next day it boots up normally. If it goes to sleep, it starts the SBBOD and freezes. If I shut it down, it fails to boot up, only displaying the file folder with the alternating Mac face/question mark. The only solution is to just let it sit.
    This computer is within the range of serial numbers for the logic board recall, but did not display any symptoms within the three years, and now that is over. I don't understand the regularity with which it intermittently works and fails without anything being done to it.
    BTW, I have reinstalled 10.4, repaired permissions, done one update at a time, repairing permissions in between and it worked fine for two days and has again failed to find the HD on boot up. I have the same software on my Power PC (the same age) and have no trouble whatsoever. I'm typing this from that computer.

    This is what I get everytime I run repair disk permissions.

  • Value only one time displayed

    Hello all,
    one question: I have a report region. In one column a value is several times among each other. What can I do, the same values display only one time?
    Thanks a lot!
    Regards
    Daniel

    Daniel,
    Not sure if I have exactly understood your question but are you talking about Break Formatting? So that a report will display like:
    CATEGORY | PRODUCT
    Computer - Monitor
    - Keyboard
    - Mouse
    Car - Wheel
    - Engine
    - Gears
    instead of:
    Computer - Monitor
    Computer - Keyboard
    Computer - Mouse
    Car - Wheel
    Car - Engine
    Car - Gears
    If so, you'll want to investigate Break Formatting in your Report Attributes or look in the Help for more details on this.
    Sorry if that's not what you meant...

  • Hi everybody, I am in Turkey on a long assignment, I need help solving a big problem on my macbook pro os 10.9.3. The other week my wife visited some website and now we have a redirect virus of some sort, and every other time when we click

    Hi everybody, I am in Turkey on a long assignment, I need help solving a big problem on my macbook pro os 10.9.3. The other week my wife visited some website and now we have a redirect virus of some sort, and every other time when we click on a link or anywhere on the page we are redirected to this casino web site, https://casino.7bets10.com/tr/?from=hy9yKXD43jSC-8Oxbw4femNd7ZgqdRLk-dHJpeG9uaXR l. Its the same whether on Chrome or Safari. Does anyone have a solution, thank you!

    1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
    Don't be put off merely by the seeming complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
    2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
    There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
    3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to collect information about the state of the computer. That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. However, you should be cautious about running any kind of program (not just a shell script) at the behest of a stranger. If you have doubts, search this site for other discussions in which this procedure has been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that the instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
    Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
    Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
    Paste into the window of another application.
    Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
    Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
    The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
    4. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
    5. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
    6. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.
    Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:
    PATH=/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/libexec;clear;cd;p=(Software Hardware Memory Diagnostics Power FireWire Thunderbolt USB Fonts 51 4 1000 25 5120 KiB/s 1024 85 \\b%% 20480 1 MB/s 25000 ports     Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
    7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
    Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
    Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
    8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
    exec bash
    and press return. Then paste the script again.
    9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
    If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
    10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
    [Process completed]
    to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
    11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
    At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start Time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
    If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
    12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
    Note: This is a public forum, and others may give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak only for themselves, and I don't necessarily agree with them.

  • Can I use macros and set values at compiling time?

    Hi, Java uses macros?
    I need control some functionality that only appear while Debugging (Windows specific, Linux specific, GUI's, Env), something like:
    #if DEBUG_WIN
    monitor.showDialog();
    #endif;
    or
    #if DEBUG_NO_X
    monitor.showLog();
    #endif
    Something like C or C++?
    And also set some values at compiling time, or values for the source code?, something, like:
    #define DEVS_NOT_BROKEN
    int devsEnabled = DEVS_NOT_BROKEN;
    Thanks!

    Yes, I think that too.
    But I don't wan't open sources files and modify values. I was thinking in use differents targets in ant's build.xml and easy generate differents debug profiles.
    Also I want set values at compiling time:
    #define SOCKETS_ASKED_FOR
    int sockets = SOCKETS_ASKED_FOR;Thanks, i keep searching solutions, "preprocessor search time".
