Almost been a month, problem not solved yet... My Concerns (My Usage not working correctly)

Context:
My boyfriend and I got the
Verizon Wireless Verizon Jetpack™ 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi® 4510L Prepaid
sometime around 4-7th of August.
Prepaid Amount: 10 GBs for $90.
Problem:
The bytes under "My Usage" isn't uploading correctly. Ever since the day we got it, it shows to us 10/10 GB used. We hoped it would clear in time so we waited...

17 Aug 2012
I noticed the problem hasn't cleared up so I decided to search around for Verizon's callback number online.
I used the (800) 922-0204 phoneline for their customer service.
I pressed 1 to access their "technicians".
1st Technician Guy: 17 Aug 2012 (Fri)
He tried to have me disconnect my account then reconnect it. Didn't work.
The problem still occurred.
He told me he sent a ticket in their system to be processed WITHIN 72 business days.
He told me we USED up only 2.5GBs.
2nd guy: 21 Aug 2012 (Tues)
3rd business day. Nothing has cleared. I called again.
After a painstaken HOUR, he told me we used up all our GBs in one whole weekend somehow....
He told me do to the same tactics the 1st guy did, despite that I told him that I've already tried them.
Then he told me that there was pretty much nothing he could do.
NOTHING.
We were forced to buy 10 GBs more, that's $90 more dollars.
3rd guy: 22 Aug 2012 (Wed)
Disappointed by my previous "helper" I still called again.
This time he said he'd file a report straight to their top technicians.
He apologized for how long this problem took and shouldn't have taken this long.
I left a callback number and he told me that I'd receive a call sometime this week or early next week.
NO call received.
Early That Next week, we couldn't access our account and it said we already depleted 10 GBs worth ALREADY again.
We rarely download ANYthing. I checked their Byte Calculator and with everything we use and do, it should sum up to a little under 10 GBs per month.
He tried to pay $90 again but they wouldn't let him.
Apparently you can only pay twice per month.
Theories:
I have reason to believe likely they tried to fix the problem by completely resetting the card, and therefore showing we have no plan on it or we used it up already. I want this cleared up to we can be able to access how much we've used and act accordingly. But it feels like we're constantly handing them $90 for a task that hasn't been fulfilled yet. I want our GBs to deplete normally, not from them resetting it.
It's been about a month and I'm unsure what to do. It's been clear to me how they don't value customer service.
Ideas please? Greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

I want to start with My goodness! I truly regret that you don't feel valued, that the issue still isnt' fixed, and over all our promises haven't been kept. This is no where near the way we want you to feel as a customer, nor the way we hold ourselves as a company.
I would love to provide some tips and tricks for data access.
- Ensure you close out of your web browser when you are done browsing. Sites such as Facebook or News sites refresh constantly and will use your data. Some sites have repeating advertisements on their page, that will also use data.
- Turn off or disable any automatic updates for programs on your computer. You can manually tell them when to update so you know exactly what is happening.
- Disconnect the connection between the hotspot and the computer or power down the hotspot when not in use.
I would personally offer further steps, but as it's Prepaid our Prepaid Technicians would have to be re-involved. This is the last thing I want to say as I truly want this to be said and done for you. Please contact our Prepaid by dialing: 888-294-6804

HI Jason269. Thanks for your reply, however I wrote that I already have "All events" checked. If All Events is checked and it doesn't diaplay all events, how do I fix? It seems this is a common issue, as I have read many others on here state the same problem.
I believe my problem occurred when I synced my iMac calendar to my iPad calendar using yahoo. Yesterday, I unsynced them on my iMac controls. When I checked my iPad calendar, all of my old entries reappeared - but only for five seconds and disappeared again. So, the data is saved and still there but cannot be displayed, even when I have All events checked. In fact, it only shows my individual entries for the last two months, but does show all my recurring entries. If I switched to last six months, I will see everything for the last six months. If I switch back to all events, it is only for the last two months.
As I mentioned, others on here have expressed exactly the same issue, including the two month example and having used yahoo.
For legal purposes, I need to be able to use the information from my indidual calendar entries in an upcoming court case. So I really need to fix this ASAP!

How can I fix that problem, so that statd ist running on my arch box too?

The Problem ist solved.
I use ldap for authentication. During the setup of the ldapclient I copied the nsswitch.ldap to nsswitch.conf. But the line for "hosts:" was:
hosts: dns ldap
but in my dns ist no localhost entry. After I changed this line to:
hosts: files dns ldap
everything was ok. The statd is now running and I can start to migrate to archlinux ;-)

I am having problems with my Canon S100 camera. The shutter is not working correctly.

I hope this is the right place to post a complaint about my Canon S100 camera's shutter not working correctly. My daughter purchased two of these cameras, one for me, and one for herself. Both cameras are having the same problem. I hope Canon can help us with this serious problem. What good is a camera if it does not take pictures?

I find it quite surprising that you do not respond to 28 pages of comments regarding this issue on the other thread and yet you directly comment here.
Seems to me that the problem arises after significant use as the contacts in the shutter switch corrode and do not get the contact that they once did. With many users this occurs just outside the 1yr warranty. However, it is clear that this is a design fault as opposed to natural 'wear and tear' and therefore I would expect that a company with Canon's reputation for excellent service would offer free repairs.
Can you please confirm if Canon are preparing a response on this issue?

Hmmm, no, no drivers needed, now it sounds like a bad install... unless you might have some old Mouse software installed???
If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.

Yes my particular issue is not like yours. However, there have been many other laptop users experiencing similar problem to yours after 3.10 kernel. Mostly it seems to be bumblebee users that experience your problem with the blank screen. We do know that nvidia have yet to make their official drivers work with kernel 3.10 and up. The drivers in the Arch repository have been patched to work with 3.10. From what I have seen, this also only seem to be affecting laptops with newer nvidia gpu's. I fear there is not much to do with this problem until nvidia give official 3.10 kernel support.
My suggestion would be to stick with 3.9.9 kernel and the drivers that work with it, and don't upgrade those packages until nvidia has addressed these issues. If you have a look at the nvidia forums you will see quite a number of topics mentioning black screen when starting x on 3.10 kernel, and also a thread for the system dying. Reading some of the threads there may help you keep up to date on whether or not the issue seem to be solved.

Email pushing not working correctly for office email - 3 seperate devices/carriers

We switched email hosts several months ago and since our email pushing has not worked correctly. Our host/IT guy has been very unwilling to help me through this (I get the pleasure of being the in-house IT source)
I personally am on AT&T have no problems with the other 3 emails I have set up on my blackberry. However I receive my work account one time a day at roughly 6:15. Another user is on Alltel and he receives spotty emails throughout the day, but his gmail account comes through instantly. The third user is on nextel and he receives his 2-3 times per day.
I began to think this was an email host issue since the three of us are all on different carriers, until I found out a fourth user, also on nextel, receives his emails fine.
Users 1-3 are on Outlook 07 on various versions of the Curve. We have all our messages to stay on the server.
User 4 is on the older nextel blackberry push to talk, and is not on outlook.
We do not have an exchange server. Our emails were all set up through our devices.
Any suggestions? The answers I have received through our carriers is to make sure that our messages are set to be left on the server. Everyone else at the office has given up - but for me this is the quest for the Holy Grail.......I'm determined find the answer!

Potential solution for windows for a side-by-side install. This works for me.
To setup a firefox install side by side so that links from external programs (like email) can open (so you don't get a "Firefox is already running but is not responding" message) do the following.
The solution entails the use of the -no-remote switch. Don't use it for the default browser. Use it for the non default browser.
I'll use firefox 3.6 and firefox 4.0 as examples but this should work for future versions.
+ Install firefox 3.6 and Firefox 4.0 in different directories. Eg.
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 4\firefox.exe
+ Open profile manager. Start > Run : firefox.exe -ProfileManager
+ In profile manager create Two Profiles.

firefox4
+ In profile manager select firefox 4 as your default (assuming you want to default to the latest) and tick "Don't ask at startup"
+ Create two windows shortcuts.
* General: Mozilla Firefox 4 (default). Shortcut > Target: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 4\firefox.exe". Shortcut > Start In: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 4"
* General: Mozilla Firefox 3.6. Shortcut > Target: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p firefox3.6 -no-remote. Shortcut > Start In: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox"
That's it. Links from external programs should now open in your default browser.

Text formatting in Numbers is not working correctly.

In Numbers on Chrome text formatting is not working correctly, it's almost as if a CSS file is not being loaded. To be precise, when I try to make a cell Bold there is no bolding. I am using Arial as a font. This has been an issue on Mac and Windows. Any ideas?

Function keys are not working correctly

I've been looking all over the various threads and I can't find an answer that solves my problem.
Here are the details:
I bought the computer in the U.S. where I live.
I have a iMac 2.4GHz intel Core 2 Duo EMC 2133 with a 20" screen. Bought it new in February 2008.
I have Mac OS X 10.5.8 (I am waiting for my order for OS Snow Leopard to come in!!)
I have been using a wireless mouse and Keyboard (Love not having cords!)
Recently, my wireless keyboard got a short and quit working. I went down to the apple store and got a new wireless keyboard.
I had the computer with me at the genius bar so, yes, the apple employee saw exactly what I have.
I took it all home got the thing all put back together and got the new keyboard paired up and working with the computer.
Here are the problems:
Went to go use the function keys while using iTunes and found they weren't working properly. The F10, F11 and F12 do not control the volume of sound as the keyboard indicates they would, they instead activate dashboard, spaces, and application windows.
Following the advice of other threads, I looked over in the system preferences and made sure the "Use all F1, F2 etc." box was unchecked (it was unchecked), things still didn't work.
I tried the fn key but it appears to not work at all it has no effect on the functioning of the function keys.
I went under keyboard shortcuts in system preferences and found the F10, F11 and F12 keys, it confirms that those keys control spaces, dashboard and application windows as they are performing but shows no options to either reassign to volume control (as marked on the keyboard) or make the fn key work.
I've gone back and forth trying various combinations of checked and unchecked boxes to see if anything would work, so far I've come up with nothing.
A couple more important or interesting facts:
Yes I have turned off and taken the batteries out of the old keyboard. My bluetooth connection currently shows it as disconnected.
I have restarted the computer.
One thing I find odd; when I go under preferences and go to Keyboard and Mouse when I go under the section "Bluetooth" it shows Bluetooth mouse with the name of the mouse and the battery level. BUT nothing is showing up under bluetooth Keyboard, I can't figure out how to change this and don't know if it is contributing to the problem.
When I go under the bluetooth logo on the top bar I find the mouse and both keyboards referenced, the old keyboard is shown as disconnected and the other two are connected. I have tried to update the device's name but it doesn't seem to let me.
I have double clicked on the device under bluetooth and it shows the new keyboard as discoverable, paired and connected. Hence, I am using the new keyboard to write this inquiry.
Please, any assistance would be of great help. I have tried to be thorough in order help narrow the possible problem. Thanks!!

Just thought I'd let you know. Our suspicions were correct, it was the OS. After I installed Snow Leopard (10.6.8) all the problems were corrected. I also updated the RAM from 1 gb to 6 gb. The mac is working all around better. Sorry it took so long to get back to everyone. My superdrive had pooped out. Rather than replace it I got an external drive from OWC connected with firewire 800. So far everything is running very well, as far as I can tell this external drive is better than the original superdrive. My superdrive has always acted funny, infact I returned the first mac I got after a week because its superdrive was also malfunctioning. Anyway, all that to say everything seems to be fully functioning again.

This is my HW and SW configuration:
LabView 2013 SP1
1x cRIO 9076
4x NI 9853 CAN Modules
CAN0 - 1000 kbps, Input Timeout=0, OutputTimeOut=10000, Module Clock: 20MHz
CAN1 - 500 kbps, Input Timeout=0, OutputTimeOut=10000, Module Clock: 20MHz
I have been working on a program for a test system, where each 9853 Module controls two devices (CAN0 and CAN1), the same type of systems will be controlled by the other 3 9853 Modules in parallel.
So basicaly, I use exactly the same Functions for every module. Until now, everything has been working correctly on module 1, but now that I started testing all other modules I have the problem that Module 3/CAN0 does not read the information correctly.
While looking at the FPGA frontpanel, i see that every 10000ms one value is read, but only on this ONE module (CAN frames are sent every 1ms from my device)
I tested the HW itself using the examples included and it works correctly, the only difference is that the example only used 2 Modules, one to send data and one to recieve it.
I am including my FPGA program as a picture, I realy do not think this is a problem with my RT SW, because all other modules work correctly. Basicaly, my FPGA SW only reads the CAN Modules and puts the information in a FIFO, if there is an error (no information) it will loop once more and check again.

I have solved the problem, it was a configuration error from my side.
The input timeout for Module3 CAN1 was configured as 10000ms and NOT as 0ms as I thought ! , so this was making my Read Loop for DUT3 run only every 10000ms.

After I updated, everything seemed ok and then all of the sudden I rebooted and only the f1 – f12 row would work. I resorted to resorted to unplugging and removing the battery and it would work for a short amount of time. This has been reported on other laptops as well, see here.

I think it can be solved with a driver update from hp or the keyboard builder but none is online.

Since I upgraded to Yosemite, my CS5 does not work correctly.

Since I upgraded to Yosemite in October, my photoshop CS5 does not work correctly. When right clicking to change a brush size, the adjuster when moving to the right or left, either sticks or moves radically. As I set the size of the brush and move my cursor back to the image, the adjuster moves with the cursor.

maybe i am wrong but i think the if statement within a view is not working correctly. See code down below.
I would like to use the Hallo World depending on the page attribute isFrame with or without all the neccessary html tags. Therefore i have embedded the htmlb tags in an if statement. But for any reason if isframe is initial it isn't working. It would be great if anybody could help me.

The short answer: your example is <b>NOT</b> going to work. The long answer will probably 5 pages to describe. So first let me rewrite the example so that it could work, and then give a short version of the long answer. Do not be disappointed if it is not totally clear. It is rather complicated. (See the nice form of IF statements that are possible since 620.)

You can see that your ENDIF statements are closing IF blocks generated by the BSP compiler. Such a nesting will not work. This is a very short form of the problem, there are a number of variations, and different types of the same problem.
The only way to solve this problem, is probably to put the body into a page fragment and include it like I did above with the duplicate HelloWorld strings. But this duplicates source code. Better is to put body onto a view, that can be processed as required.
