ALV Not Fix a Column for specific SAP GUI

Hello Team.
we have a little problem when We try Fix a Column.
We create an ALV report, for user with the SAP GUI 7.20
ls_dispo-FIX_COLUMN = 'X'.
Some user has the Patch Level 4 and the fix column work Fine.
Other has the Patch Level 7, and when the user move the scroll bar, the fixed column not work.
I think Some Difference in parameter configuration in SAP GUI is the problem,
Can you help me.

I am not sure this might be a solution if you have mentioned all the parameters programatically but you can try if this works
You can compare the Options between the users GUI
Goto ->Customize Local Layout ( Alt + F12 ) on your Logon Screen-> Options
and check if there is any change between these two Patch Levels.

Inspection type 04 should not generate Insp.lot for specific Process orders

Hi Guyes,
I Want to skip the Inspection lots generation for specific process orders of a particular material during Goods Reciept and stock should be directly posting in to Un-restricted stock.
In the material master assigned with Inspection type 04.
Please advise me the possible options to map this scenario.

Now use this DMR in Header of inspection plan of material of process order.
what this will do is after 5 inspections it will skip the next 5 inspection lots.
Make sure :
You can maintain setting for "maximum skip duration in plant level.
In QM view click on Skip & auto UD
Create variant in QA16 & run through QA17
Here in QA17 maintain the duration after which you want to take UD
Also make sure that in selected set maintain stock posting proposal for unrestricted.

ISG not create a session for specific pepoles

I have an ASR 1k running as ISG and DHCP server.
I used an initiator for the session as MAC address.
Today I found unexpected behavior as for some users used to work before to have IP address and no session created.
this configuration on the interface :-

After that you will enable this monitor for specific servers using overrides.

Not able to run BAPI_QUALIFIC_GETLIST in SAP GUI

I was trying to run BAPI_QUALIFIC_GETLIST in SAP GUI BAPI exlporer. But its asking import parameters like PLVAR, OTYPE, SOBID. i tried to find what needs to be passed to get employees qualification. but not at all able to find what values requires.
Plz help me as i'm very much new to SAP BAPI functions. i hope someone knows what parameters values i need to pass to get the Employees qualifications.

ALV Grid merge cells horizontally for specific record

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement regarding ALV Grid developement.
In ALV Grid, we will have multiple records as normal output.
Output will be as below.
In that, we need Summery Text should be in from Field 2 * to* Field 6 as a single Cell and below that all output
will be normal each cell wise.
That Summery will come for each new Field1.

Hi Manglesh,
sorry ALV is not as flexible as Excel may be.
You can only define a header in that way but it would be above the column headings.
The ALV table display allows only to change the width of the whole column.

Spool ALV not displaying two column value

In spool ALV is getting displayed. But the output is not printing the value of 2 columns , both are MATNR values. I checked the output table it is fetching the material number but ALV is not displaying it. please help its urgent. The GI material is not getting displayed.

As per the above screenshot I assume there should be only 2 possible cases as said by Jyoti. Apart from that there is no other chance of missing data, especially for couple of columns in the output.
If you are passing the value at run-time to MATNR and you are able to see that in output, hence your final internal table which you are passing to the ALV is not filled appropriately with MATNR values. May be those values are cleared somewhere.
It would be better if you could share some piece of your subroutine FIELDCATFILL code. Also place a breakpoint before ALV display and check if the fieldcatalog and the final internal table are having the appropriate values.

Page Process Does Not Work When Column for APEX_ITEM.HIDDEN is not shown

I have created a Report Region based on a SQl Query. In the query I have three columns that need to be within an array, but 2 of the 3 columns should not be displayed on the report. Therefore, I don't have Show checked for them in the Column Attributes of the Report Region.
In my testing, if I don't display the columns that are within the arrays on the report and run the page process to insert records into a table, I receive the error of "no data found". In reverse, if I display the columns, my insert is successful.
Is this how the arrays work? Or is there something I have not done correctly.
Below is the query for the Report:

If you uncheck the "show" option, then the corresponding HTML for that item is not rendered on the page. Thus, when you try to inspect that item via APEX_APPLICATION.G_F02, it simply doesn't exist.
One trick that I use when I want to have hidden items on the page, but not make them take up any space, is to concatenate them to items that will be visible.
Using your query as an example, I would re-write it like this:

Browser is not opening from the webgui or SAP GUI for HTML

I am in critical scenario how to work on the below scenario.
I have installed an NW7.0 with few functional components.as per the user request i had activated webgui and it is working fine in internet.for this we have done the following steps.
1. Activated the webgui/mimes in SICF
2. published in SE80 for WEBGUI and SYSTEM.
3. Created a reverse proxy in Micrsoft ISA through our network team for the internet users.
example : http://servername.xyz.com:8005/sap/bc/.../webgui
reverse proxy URL : http://sapabap.domain.com/sap/bc../webgui -- working URL
i could access sm50,sm21 and so..on.But when i try soamanager transaction or any other transaction which picks a browser and display the screen which is not working. It picks the intranet link or servername with port( http://servername.xyz.com:8005/sncrr or soamanager..).Is HTTPS is required to enabled ( ithink not necessary since it is an secured login procedure.) i could able to see in se80settingsITS Tab --servername.xyz.com:8005
May i know why it does not picks up the reverse proxy URL. I have tried with hosts file with many options but is it not working

Hi Bala,
If you go to transaction SE80 -> Repository Information System -> Other objects -> Transactions and you search for SOAMANAGER, you get into the screen where you can modify attributes for this transaction. Please check if there are strange values entered in there... Or maybe SAPGUI for HTML is not selected.

However, in our legacy system of classic ASP script, we are not encountering any issues and manage to get the response from the ITS. Accessing the url on IE is also working fine.

From the little information available here I can suggest following:
1.     Check the Account validity and authorizations of the User used for authentication from DOT NET. If possible, assign SAP_ALL in Development and repeat tests. Later we can narrow down the access easily.
2.     There is a known Kernel issue with ICF logon message handling, described in SAP Note 1241566 - Set of corrections: Logging on 1/2008. Check if the recommended Kernel patch level is already applied.
If none of the above helps, please send me the following:
1.     Trace file for the work process 0 in transaction ST11 on the application server spsisd_ISD_00
2.     Generate trace files with the highest trace level (3) as per SAP Note: 507994 - Generating plug-in trace files for troubleshooting and send it over.
We can look at various Kernel and Service level calls from trace files which should help us identify the root cause.

Genuis bar did not fix my MBP for the 2nd time!

I would like to share my frasturated delima with NY apple store and DC's.
I am a forgeiner Pilot and I own a Mid-2007 Macbook pro and its logic board was suddenly dameged month ago. Like everyone else I arranged an appointment with NY apple store.
They took it and they fixed it and I received it 2 weeks after I returned to USA again. It was working 2 days then suddenly it stopped, unfortunatly I was on the plane at that time heading to my country.
So, I've made another appointment in DC's branch and they took it again and they brought it back to me after their claim of fully testing it before giving it back to me.
3 days later it stopped working and a black screen is what I was getting. Luckly, I have a flight next week to DC and I have made another appointment with them.
That being said, is there someone I could contact and complain about my very bad experience ? This is the only apple product I own beside my iPad and you know how it feels like when you don't get the satisfaction the company claims to have for its customers.

Ask to speak to the manager of the said store. We are just end users here. If the manager won't look into it, call 1-800-APLCARE, and ask to speak to Customer Relations. Have all case numbers of prior visits handy. Customer Relations is a second branch to Customer Support that handles cases Customer Support can't answer.

There is diff in size between formsgraph in forms demo pack (http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/demos/forms/11g/demos_11g.zip)
and formsgraph in Oracle Forms Graph Java Bean Demo (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/downloads/formsgraph-522400.jar).
Formsgraph in demo pack is old one (from version 9i) but it's working.

Username Kerfuffle, why not fix once and for all?

The issue of people wanting to change their username seems to come up again and again.
Perhaps Apple/Jive could deliver a clearer message when people sign up that their username is immortal, so pick something you like.
Or better yet, allow people to add an alias to a username to shroud the original if someone wants to change what's publicly presented.
