Am i signed in to my icloud acct or not- nothing tells you after downloading (as you think you have) whether or not it is so

1. Any assistance available for getting reliable email alerts in the form of popups via icloud?
2. Does icloud offer a method of downloading video clips etc from the net?

Did you sign in (look in Control Panel>iCloud Control Panel) surely you would remember signing in?

PhotoStream is purely a conduit for transferring pictures added to or taken on one device onto all the others seamlessly. Photos are held there only for 30 days. There is no way of accessing, viewing or deleting individual photos; you can reset the entire Photostream, erasing everything.

You should be able to temporarily change your iCloud account back to what it was previously without having to verify it so you can sign out. Take a look at the article below and look at the Change your Apple ID temporarily to sort you out.

Can't access my icloud acct to back up data to another phone. I am the primary and until I can access my icloud account the other phone won't back up. How do I access my icloud password. I have changed my apple id password 4 times and still no success. Now my apple id is now incorrect. Yikes! I have had a call with Technical security and they are puzzled as well. Couldn't help me... is there anyone that has had this issue?

If you changed the password for your AppleID, the only way to change that on an iOS device is to delete the iCloud account, then add it back with the new/updated login credentials. It sounds awkward (well, it is I guess), but you just need to do that - delete the iCloud account then add it back.

My iMac, early 2008 24", operating system Yosemite; I tried to fix a communication problem between Apple devices on iCloud. I have iCloud and iCloud Drive. The problem is with iCloud. It then directed me to iforgot.apple.com to change password/ID. I did, completed the process but it did not release the security lock out from the iCloud in my Preferences. I have the same problem. This happens multiple times a day. I answer some questions and then unlock my account and then before long it all happens again. Extremely frustrating as I don't have a clue how to solve the problem.

I have done everything that the Apple manual suggets to insure that I can transfer photos from my IPHONE to my Windows Desktop via ICLOUD. For some reason it still says that my ICLOUD (on my desktop) is not enabled!

First make sure iCloud and Photo Stream are installed on your PC. Connect the iPad (or iPhone) to your PC with the USB cable and start iTunes on your PC. Once your iPad/iPhone shows up under "Devices" in the sidebar (which you may have to enable), click it. Then click "Photos" at the top of the iTunes screen on your PC. Check the "Sync Photos from" box, and then under that, click "Selected folders." (Ignore the pulldown menu to the right of "Sync Photos from" -- the important thing is to tick "Selected folders.") A pane should open up below that with a list of folders including "Photo Stream." Choose that and then at the bottom of the screen click Sync. This worked for my Windows 7 box.

Delete the account then re add it. Go to settings-icloud- scroll to the bottom delete, then add the CORRECT account.

Now, when I go to these sites my user ID does not appear and no matter how many times I check that "remember" box, it will not save it. Why have I lost this feature and how do I get it back?

Go to Applications/Utilities
Open KeyChain Access
Look for the Screen name and double click on it.
Tick the Show Password check box.
Type your Admin password in the pop up and Allow Once button
The Password that is saved is now shown at the botom of the original window.
Edit as required and shut window.
Try iChat again.
Try here for Screen name check.

I cannot sign in to my icloud with my old account it is saying maximum number of free accounts

i am not tring to recreate an icloud. my iphone had to be reset by ntelos and clear all my data off my phone. so now when i try to sign in to my icloud it will not let me sign in with my account that i used before my phone was reset. it is saying it has the maximum number of icloud accounts. but im not trying to make a new one . in am simply tring to sign in with the one i already have.

You can't delete an account, you can only stop using it. If you're getting that error message you won't be able to create a new account on your device. Your only options are to re-use one of the accounts previously created, or create a new account on a different iOS device or Mac (running OS X Lion or higher), if you have one.

There's no such file in Mac OS X version of Skype. But there's a directory for your Skype user account in /Users/%current_user_name%/Library/Application Support/Skype/
try:
quitting Skype
renaming old folder
signing into the Skype

If you have already created an iCloud account on a Mac or and iOS device you can sign into it in the Windows iCloud Control Panel. However, if you have not previously set up an iCloud account you cannot do so on a Windows PC, only on a Mac or iOS device.

Can I set-up Messages on Mac to handle multiple iCloud accts?

I have Messages on my iphone set-up to work with both my phone number and icloud apple ID email so I can send/receive messages on both my phone and mac.
My wife shares the same mac, and we would like to add her acct so she too can send/receive from this machine in addition to her iphone.
When I go to Messages prefs (on the mac) to add an acct, the account types available include AIM, Jabber, Google Talk or Yahoo. I would expect to see an iCloud option or something Apple specific.
Is there a way to add a second iCloud acct to Messages?

HI,
You can only have one iMessages Account at once. (the same for the Bonjour Option).
On the iPhone you added the Apple ID that you used in Messages on the Mac.
This would have given you the option to Send and Receive on either the Mac or iPhone from the iPhone Number and the Apple ID.
You then added the extra email and it gets added to the other device.
You can add it as an extra email on both the iPhone and the Mac version.
You could...
Add her iPhone Number and email as extras to the iMessages set up (add the current Apple ID in the Mac version to her iPhone then add the other as extras).
However this does mean that everyone gets everyone else's Messages.
Or...
You create her a Mac User Account on the Mac.
This would allow her to maintain ans sync via iCloud her own Contacts list. (Using your iCloud ID she could sync the current Contacts List)
Messages does not need to use an iCloud ID, just an Apple one that has been verified.
Then her Apple ID and iPhone link up in iMessages would be separate from yours.
