AME wrongly treats me as cloud customer

I was a cloud customer until Adobe's new recent rental policies kicked in. I uninstalled the cloud version, purchased the CS6 Master Collection and installed it.
But at some point the Application Manager got updated and now it keeps thinking I'm a cloud customer.
It tells me my Cloud subscription has expired 51 days ago and I only live by the grace of Adobe. How can I get this nonsense to stop?
I am a registered owner of CS6 and don't want the cloud. I want to be free of this harassment.

Hi Oldschoolmx,
When you launch the CS6 products do you see any kind of Try Again button in the bottom right on the screen saying the subscription expired? If so, this should allow you to enter your CS6 Master Collection serial number.

If you don't get this option, you could try using the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove your Adobe ID info.

and try again, it should be option 8 from the tool.

    You probably downloaded the Cloud version.  Get the licensed version thru the following linked page...

    In Conpany's point of view, all Employees should be treated as Vendors.
    Loan Payment and Advances sould be treated as Other Special GL Transactions for Vendors.
    Steps to be followed:
    1. Define Alternative Reconciliation Account for Vendors (Here Employees)
    Path: IMG/FA/ARAP/Business Transactions/Postings with Alternative Reconciliation Account/Other Special GL Transactions/Define Alternative Reconciliation Account for Vendors
    Here you can create Special GL indicator for Loan Payment or Advances: Click Create (F6) and create special GL indicator (L) for Loan to Employees and save the data
    DC on the Special GL indicator: L - Loan payment
    Here give the following inputs:
    In Recon.acct: Give Recon A/c for Vendors (Employees) (B/S A/c - Liability Group) Ex. A/c No.1000
    In Special GL account: Give Alternative Recon. A/c to Employees i.e. Loan to Employee A/c (Create this a/c in FS00).  (B/S A/c - Assets group). Ex. A/c No. 3000
    2. Go to F-02 and post the entry.
    Entry will be:
    Employee A/c Dr
    To Bank A/c
    Entries in General Ledger View:
    Alternative Recon. A/c for Employee A/c Dr.  (In our example: A/c No. 3000)
    To Bank A/c
    Note: If you want to deduct TDS, then follow the same procedure for WT for Vendors for Payments.
    In this case the journal entry will be:
    Employee A/c Dr.
    To Bank A/c
    To Withholding Tax A/c
    To Sur charge A/c (if any)
    To Education Cess A/c (if any)

I wanted 1 gig and ended up with 4 gigs. If 1 gig was not available I was not informed. Plus the charge for the convertion to a new plan. I called today and I cancelled the plan so I 'm being charged another fee for the plan change. I have really enjoyed working with Verizon but I will have to start looking for another provider.

  • Treated with disrespect by customer service then accused of fishing for discounts.

    So I called verizon wireless customer service to upgrade a phone on the 30th of Sept. and was told by the representative that it would be no problem and that about 6 months ago I was disrespected by another rep so they told me I would receive a $50 rebate on my next upgrade. Well they tried not to honor that rebate and accuse me of trying to fish for rebates and discounts which first off I feel is very disrespectful to say to a loyal customer since 2007. I then had a phone stolen awhile back so I suspended it because I was grand fathered in to the unlimited data and wanted to keep it so I kept paying for the line to keep the unlimited data then get informed I wont get unlimited data once I upgrade my phone that was stolen because they don't offer that no more. I was never informed of that or I would have just dropped the line so I didn't pay for it since february. I did get alittle upset but I did apologize and then asked to escalate the call to someone higher because I felt I should have been informed of this so I wasn't paying for a phone that wasn't even being used, but instead of the rep escalating the call he hung up on me which really upset me. I called the next day Oct. 1st and explained what had happened the day before and all they wanted to do was to tell me to basically get over it they are sry. Well I asked to speak to a supervisor and actually got connected to one instead of hung up on and she apologized and offered me some free minutes which I did appreciate but I have 1400 mins a month and only use about 700 so I asked if they could do something different because that wouldn't help me out at all that would have been totally pointless. Well that supervisor said she would call me back the same day and never did so I called back at ten because I know customer service closes at 11pm est. Obviously the supervisor knew one of their reps were disrespectful to me that's why she offered me the minutes. Well after calling back I was told I was just fishing for discounts and rebates. I told the supervisor to go back through the notes and see if I have ever received a rebate or discount or credit that I didn't deserve because they way I was treated by their employees. He told me that he would not offer me anything but an apology for being disrespected and taking days to try to get and upgrade that I would just have to deal with it cause he felt I was fishing. I've been a loyal customer for almost 6 yrs and recommend verizon to everyone but the way I have been getting treated lately is causing me to want to switch to AT&T which they told me they would match everything verizon offers me and unlimited data if I switched but I turned them down cause verizon has always taken care of me. Now My wife wants the upgrade for free cause the way we were treated the past few days but I felt that was too much to ask so I asked for $100 rebate on my upgrade instead since im losing my unlimited data and ive been paying for a suspend phone since Feb. I didn't feel that was too unreasonable. I that got too frustrated and gave up and just ordered the new phone at normal 2 yr price but verizon is putting a hold on my order and still hasnt called me back about what they are going to do about how ive been treated and everything im losing and all the wasted money ive spent thinking I was getting to keep unlimited data. I don't feel I was fishing for anything or asking for anything unreasonable still no phone calls about what's going on, their is a hold on my upgrade after I have already paid for it and my wife needs it by when the ship date says it will be here cause she is switching from att to verizon but has her att phone sold Friday but has to have her new phone by then cause she is a nurse and needs her phone for when she is on call and verizon is screwing with our jobs now. I feel I should be compensate for the way this loyal customer has been treated but with something that I can actually use instead of minutes I don't need especially when I know the reps can giv up to $500 credits and all I asked for was an extra $50 on top of the other $50 for being disrespected before. and I also want my new phone here by Thursday when I ordered it Monday.

    Cliff Notes Version: (assuming male from name, apologies if wrong)
    1) He has been a loyal customer since 2007 (must be loyal, mentioned several times)
    2) 6 months ago he was disrespected by a service rep and apparently told he would receive a $50 rebate on next upgrade
    3) When he tried to upgrade recently, they didn't want to honor the rebate and disrespected him again!!!!!
    4) He had a phone stolen in Feb, and because he wanted to keep unlimited data, he continued to pay the plan (not clear if he understands that he would have to pay an ETF if he didn't)
    5) He now finds that Verizon won't let him keep unlimited if he upgrades at a discount, so he feels 4) was a waste.
    6) After more complaints, supervisor offers him more minutes, which is useless as he doesn't use anything near his allowance
    7) He wants a $100 rebate
    8) He is a loyal customer, but is talking to AT&T who will apparently match his unlimited.
    And we didn't get to the $30 upgrade fee.

  • Unacceptable way to treat a long standing customer Verizon

    I have been a Verizon customer for over 15 years with four to five phones on my plan and have faithfully paid my bill every month. I attempted to set up my account with automatic payment in January and it didn’t work.  Called customer service and they didn’t know why the bank rejected the debit.  I paid the bill as normal and at the suggestion of the customer service representative tried it again.  The automatic debit was rejected again.  Called customer service again and they still didn’t know why it was rejected.  I paid my bill again the normal way.
    Last night I went to pay my April bill and was told my account was put on a cash basis because I was attempting to set up my account with automatic debit using my savings account and Verizon doesn’t accept auto debits to a savings account. I was never told the three times prior when I spoke to customer service that a savings account is not accepted. The only suggestion the customer service representative told me was they were at a loss and I should contact my bank. 
    I always pay my bill on time and am now being treated like a dead beat who does not pay their bill.  I even attempted to by my bill with a credit card and was denied.  They are demanding the I walk into a store with CASH to pay my account.  Unacceptable Verizon.   I don't feel I did anything wrong and no one from Verizon will help me. 

    Loyalty is a marketing tool. In a free market there is no such as loyalty. Loyalty is nothing but a cash cow and allows the industry to become complacent. People keep crying about change... Stop being complacent and talk about loyalty. I have never been loyal to a company. As soon as better deal and better product(in my eyes) comes out I am there to buy it. I don't care if it's Verizon, T-Mobile, or insert any company out there. Make the companies work for your money.

    How many customer applications are live (I know this may be hard to answer - # of deployments per customer by % of traffic - essentially I would like to know how many have signed up for the hosted platform service - not the out-of-the-box applications.
    What % of customers use the hosted platform vs the social and CRM/ERP subscription applications?
    From Larry Ellisons' tweet last summer it is ambiguous as to whether the 100+ applications are customer developed or are the subscription ones offered by Oracle?

    First I had a guy named George from West Palm Beach, Fla. tells me lies and I got no where with. Then I get transferred to Qween Sheba who lies badly and says her name is Sondra and got nothing but lies and snoody remarks she was very slow and hard to understand and after she hung up on me I knew my time was short with Xfinity. I will be getting one of the dish networks very soon along with another phone service and internet service....then be placing all their stuff in a box out on the front porch and calling them to come get it.

    Thing is, they won't come and get the equipment. Sure they will bring it to you, but you have to physically take it back. They will charge you a rediculous amount of money for their equipment if you don't. Besides, I like the idea of facing their employees and telling them what I think about Comcast TOO THEIR FACE!! I noticed that my area are hiring all kinds of new people to work for them as of late. They just hired a bunch of new people not long ago. That tells me that their employees are probably treated like cr#p or they are tired of taking the heat from customer disatisfaction or both!!! Comcast is one of the most wicked corrupt monopolies in the U.S. I hope our government will break them up, but if not, then I hope everyone will quit them and find something else. There is still free antena tv. I am in process of switching over and living with less channels than paying ridiculous raised prices. Plus there is netflex and other ones like it and tv on internet also! So long Comcast and kiss my a*%!!

  • How long do you have to stay away to be treated like a new customer?

    Comcast offers these great deals to new customers, but won't do anything to try to retain loyal customers who are sick of their bills increasing. Right now I am paying $30 more per month for internet only than a new customer would pay for the same internet speed, plus local channels and HBO. Customer service won't do anything to help, other than offer to downgrade my internet speed. How long do I have to not be a customer to be treated the way they treat new customers?

  • Read how I got treated by Verizon [New Customer]

    Hey guys I am Verizon member since about 2 months I love the service , the fast data , pretty much everything until today.
    I have 4 Lines on my account. The bill for the 4 lines was 577$ which is huge which was paid off but thats not point.
    Today about 3 PM my service was suspended ... apparently because of possible fraud? what the hell?
    From what it looks like I ordered my Galaxy Nexus from Newegg.com I had a discount with it and the person who at newegg created my account messed up with the social security number , he put my name on the Account & Billing and it was not suppose to be like that my name was only suppose to be for shipping , so question is how for 2 months it was just fine? how did that even happen?. So I went to corporate store today and I had to FAX all my information
    ID,Social,Utility bill from ME and my mother which is her social which was messed up on the account [and my name put under it].
    But what I really hate that no one from VERIZON never ever called me if I knew I would go next to corporate store and fix it asap...
    I would at least want credit for the interruption of service from Verizon.
    Please let me know what you guys think of this. At this time I am without a service for whole day [all 4 lines] because I was not informed.

    Your best bet is to file a complaint with the BBB. Verizon, someone with a bit of authority, will be calling you for a resolution. I've resorted to calling the BBB for any services I use because frankly, customer service in every industry has become almost nonexistent.

    Yes, you do. If those versions came with the computer, you may also need to contact Apple, which can be done by going to the Mac App Store main page and choosing Support under Quick Links.
