Anonymous Process Launch. how is the WF_CASE_OWNER variable set?

Hellos.
I am trying the execution of a Workflow initiated by the user/anonProcessLaunch.jsp
I have edited my user/login.jsp to include the lines:-
<p class='subtitle'>If you are a external Employee or Customer and you want an SM7 Account Click <A HREF="<%=p.encodeRedirectURL(user/anonProcessLaunch.jsp?id=SM7
AnonUserAccountRequest")%>">here</A>.</p>
Everything works lovely, just that I see "Temp:UserContractor" as the WF_CASE_OWNER and I wonder where I can set a more sensible default for WF_CASE_OWNER in these anon process launches.

Ok..
I was experimenting with the user/anonProcessLaunch.jsp file.
There seems to be some interplay with the user/login.jsp and anonymous launch and anonlogin.jsp IDM seems to want to make you give a 'user id'
But I dont want that to happen. I got the idea of hacking user/anonProcessLaunch.jsp and set the ANON_USER_ATTRIBUTE attribute to a dummy value. e.g. UserContractor
but when the WF is actually launched I see the WF_CASE_OWNER having the Temp: prefix.
In other words I tried to set my WF_CASE_OWNER in anonProcessLaunch.jsp but IDM prefixes it with Temp: somehow, from somewhere.
The upshot is, that any WF kicked off by this (hacked) anonProcessLaunch.jsp will always get the same 'default' WF_CASE_OWNER. I can live with this.
It would be interesting to know what other Attributes I can set on my session object. com.waveset.session.Session is included in the .jsp but I cant seem to find this in the IDM Javadocs.

  • How toStore the Date Variable and pass it when the program runs next time??

    HI All,
    My JDBC program basically needs two command line args. Rabge_Start_Dt and Range_End_Dt. for ex:
    2001-05-31 and 2001-06-01 . And my porgram should run every day. Next day the date range will be 2001-06-01 to some date. It means I have to store some how the range_end_dt and pass it as range_start_dt when my program runs the next day.
    Problem:
    How can I store the Data variable and pass it as an argument to my porgram when It runs next time. Every time my pogram runs It should pick the range start_dt (==range_end_dt of the previuos run) and end_dt I have to go and query some other data base and pass that value to it.
    Thanks in advance!!!!

    save the value in a file, then read it back in each day. Similar to when a process needs a PID.

  • OWB Process Flow - How is the best  version control tool ??

    HI all,
    I just start work with OWB and I have a question to know how is the best way to do something.
    Imagine the scenario below:
    If I have 2 or more requests for example:
    Request 1: Create a Dimension City.
    Request 2: Create a Dimension Products.
    I Have ONE process flow and i need put my changes inside. This is my problem.
    In my scenario I don't know what Request goes to Prod First.
    If I put the Request 1 and Request 2 in my PROCESS FLOW, maybe I need change is someone decide change MY REQUEST PRIORITY.
    There is something in OWB to "control the version or changes" ?? For a mapping I export the MDL and commit on SVN, but I dont know haw can i do with the process flow.
    Something to agree multiples peoples work in different mappings and a SAME PROCESS FLOW ??
    What is best way to work with process flow and version control.
    What are the best practices when it comes to version control?
    Thanks.

    Amit,
    Are you really doing this in 10.1.3.x and not 11g?
    At any rate, I don't see how #2 and #3 relate whatsoever to your choice of a version control system. OK, maybe in #2 if there is some "maintenance" activity to be done against the version control server. Subversion is the open source alternative that you listed there and is pretty commonly used. If your company is already using one of the mentioned tools, why change? About the only thing I'd mention is to advise you NOT to use CVS for well documented reasons (JDev does support it) - if you would have picked CVS otherwise, choose Subversion. As far as question #1 - I've only used Subversion (well, I did use CVS for a while) with JDeveloper, so I can say it was "effective enough for me." In 10.1.3.x, I also used the external svn tools for doing lots of things like merging and so forth; in 11g, the support is much much better.
    Best,
    John

  • How is the getReturnParam Map set in the dialog framework?

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to pass around some values from my main window, to a dialog window, and then use those values in a call to a business method when the user presses "Approve" on the dialog. I want to call the business method in the returnListener method, but I can't find any information on how to manipulate the Map that is returned by:
    event.getReturnParameters();
    Does somebody have an example of setting and using this Map?
    Thanks,
    Matt

    I found a solution for this problem. Here is the new code for the launchListener:
      public void approveMessageForSend(ActionEvent e) {
        final AdfFacesContext adfi = AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
        adfi.returnFromDialog(new String("approvedToSend"), adfi.getProcessScope());
        adfi.getProcessScope().clear();
        logger.info("RETURN FROM approveMessageForSend");
      }note the second argument in returnFromDialog. I am accessing the process scope, which returns a Map of all the values I placed in processScope using the launchListener.
    Thus I am able to access that map in the returnListener with the following code:
      public void sendApprovedMessage(ReturnEvent event)
        Map m = event.getReturnParameters();
        ... rest of method ...Thanks for your help. I wouldn't have thought of using the returnFromDialog method for this.

  • How is the IP Profile set please?

    HI,
    Could someone please confirm how the IP Profile I see when I run the BT Speedtester is set?
    Is it changed automatically, depending on my actual download spped achieved, or is it (or can it be) set manually by a BT Engineer?
    Another quick question on the Assured Rate Test; my Download Speed shown here used to be about twice as fast as the stated Max Achievable Speed (which was the same as my Assured Rate IP Profile) is this normal ?
    Any replies appreciated!

    I don't think your assured rate is anything to worry about. Provided it is close of over the profile thats fine. The decline in your profile is a worry. If you have been resetting your hub to try to make things better that would have the ironic effect of reducing your profile.
    I would suggest going to the BB in Home board and pose the question there. In your post include the cut and pasted output of speedtester and your Hub stats. To get those, use your browser to go to http://192.168.1.254/ find your ADSL stats within there. How you get them varies on the type of hub you have, but may involve settings, advanced, ADSL and Details. It should show Attenuation and Noise. Have a rummage. You will be asked for your hub password to do this. There are helpful boffins in that board who may not monitor this one who will help you decide if you have a problem or not.

  • Hi I have two questions. I am using NAS 4.1 and was wondering is it possible to set a different session timeout for different users? How is the session timeout set? Thanks, YS

    <i>I am using NAS 4.1 and was wondering is it possible to set a different session timeout for different users?</i>
    Um, there is no such thing as NAS4.1.
    I'm assuming that you mean NAS4.0 (maybe NAS4.0sp1?). If so, then the session timeouts are specified in the session section of the NTV configuration files.
    AFAIK, you can specify session timeouts on a per user basis.

  • How export the share personnal setting to another fcpx mac

    Hi,
    I'm changing my mac and I didn't find a way to export my personnal settings (templates) I've created with the "share" pref like a special mp4 setting.
    They are not in the preferences, not in app support (both), not in the event/export preset...
    Does someone have found them ?
    cheers

    I'm going to assume it is stored inside of the app itself.  I'd copy the actual application over to the new Mac and give that a shot.

  • How does the "je.maxMemoryPercent" setting relate to shared cache?

    Assume there are two environments which are set to use 50% and 20% of memory. Each environment is configured for shared caching. Wouldn't these settings contradict?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    From the javadoc
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/je/java/com/sleepycat/je/EnvironmentMutableConfig.html#setCachePercent(int)
    we have:
    If setSharedCache(true) is called, setCacheSize and setCachePercent specify the total size of the shared cache, and changing these parameters will change the size of the shared cache.
    So the last call to change the cache size -- for any environment sharing the cache -- will be the one to take effect for the shared cache.

  • How to COmpare two variable in BPEL

    Hi ,
    I have two compare two variable ( EIN field ) one from input variable of a BPEL process and other one the output variable of a invoke .
    My requiremet is like this :
    If the the value of both EIN field is same then I have to assign Name field of Invoke output parameter to Output variable of BPEL process .
    If the value doesn't match then i have to assign ' No Data Exist ' expression to Output variable of BPEL process .
    How can i do this .
    Please help me regarding this as early as possible .

    You can do this in a switch statement. Perform a comparision to check if the values are the same, if case is not important (because users will enter anything) wrap the code in a case expression, e.g. upper(user_date) = upper(file_data)
    What version of SOA Suite and JDev are you using. Make sure that these versions are in sync.

  • RH10 - Context sensitive links to DUCC variable set

    I'm using RH10 Webhelp and the project has four builds from a single source of topics. I am using DUCC for media type categories (radio, television, etc.). I've used build tags and user variables to provide specific information for each media type in one topic. The DUCC category selected determines which information the user sees.
    The web application has context sensitive help links to appropriate topics in the help system. With DUCC implemented I need a way to include the appropriate variable set for the context media type.
    The application will know if the context is radio or television. Since the context sensitive Help URL opens the default DUCC category only, I need a way to include which category to open in the Help link URL.(Something similar to the # addition to indicate opening the window with the TOC pane open would be nice.)
    Without that instruction the user will end up on the default (let's say radio) topic when they really need to see the television version. The user would need to switch the DUCC category in the TOC  (which closes the TOC completely) and then drill down through a huge TOC to find the same topic in the television list. Needless to say the user will become very annoyed with this process.
    I would really like two options: to specify the variable set to use in the help link URL to open the appropriate topic AND to switch categories and automagically open the same topic in the new category if possible.
    Thanks for your help! If there isn't a current solution, how do I lobby for an enhancement to RH?
    karen

    Sorry but I believe you can only open the help to the default category. In the short term could you have a single topic category telling users to pick their category. Not ideal but better than where you are.
    Longer term please follow this link.
    http://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform&product=38
    The problem I am seeing is if you call a topic that is in all categories Rh can display it but how would it know which category? However, that's for the Adobe guys to figure out.

  • How to use System Variable SY_ROW in the Process Instruction Category

    Hi ,
    I want to assign a value of System variable SY_ROW to a Normal Variable in the Process Instruction Category and use it in the formula. Please help me with the Syntax in the Process Instruction Category to get the System Variable: SY_ROW value into a Variable.
    Thanks,
    SV

    Hello,
    You can use these variables in formulas or, for example, to pass on certain pieces of information to a function module. How the function called by the function module behaves depends on the type of information passed on.
    SY_ROW is used to view the current Table line.
    Please look into the below link for more details on syntax :

  • How do I access the DCJMS* variables in my response SOAP:Header ?

    Hi all,
    I have set up a sync / async Integration Process in XI
    This is initiated by a SAP R/3 transaction that calls a synchronous function to enter XI
    Once in the Bridge, a JMS receiver adapter sends out an asynchronous request message from XI to MQ
    A correlation allows the JMS sender adapter to return an asynchronous response message from MQ to XI back into my the Integration Process
    I have set up the JMS sender adapter configuration to return the DC (dynamic configuration) variables in the <SOAP:Header> of the XI response message along with the payload
    You can see that the DCJMS* variables are returned below

    I performed the following steps

    •     Created the user-defined function using the graphical editor
