Any idea how to get past a forgoten password??
My dad recently bought an Iphone 4s second hand and it wasn't restored back to factory settings so therefore, not synced to his Itunes. He set a password on it and somehow forgot the password. Can anyone help as I have no idea how to get into the phone.

Since it's your father's iPhone, it's not clear why you want "to get into" it. Frankly, your post reads as one of the lamest excuses I've read about getting access to a stolen iPhone. Regardless, he can connect to iTunes, and get into recovery mode.

You need to deal with apple on this. Trouble with signing in could be they have two passwords for the same person and lock you out. Call your carrier, call Apple, Make an appt at an apple store genius bar.
I would tell you my story about the password/itunes issue, but it is about my son getting a new macbook, not iPhone.
Bottom line, they are careful with identity issues and you need to talk to them. -
I disabled my iPhone 4 and while doing a restore via iTunes, it is downloading and timing out so the download is not completing. any idea how to get past that? I have tried many times and the same error keeps happening.
You need to force the phone into recovery mode, as described here, & restore it:

I have iWorks for a Mac Mini, I want to install that software on my MackBook Air, but it keeps telling me to update the software, I have updated it several times. Still no go, any ideas how to get past this problem? Thanks!

Any ideas how to get my software updated on my IPOD 3rd Generation when my computer times out? I have tried several times and it appears to take 30 plus hours. How Frustrating, not to mention the kids are too!
If the iTunes purchases are not in your iTunes library you can redownload them by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If you restore from backup, not that synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup and thus if those items are not in the iTunes library they can't be restored to the iPod during the latter part of the restore process. -
I purchased a soundtrack on iTunes (Windows 7) and five of the songs that downloaded get cut off before they finish playing...any idea how to get it fixed?
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items. -

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then see if you can redownload your past music purchases (those that are still in the store) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you are not in a country where music can currently be re-downloaded, then have you not got it on your computer and/or on a backup ? Bridge CC keeps crashing on start up but was working last week - Any Ideas how to get it back. Have tried uninstalling and re installing software. All other CC software working fine (Mac)

While installing XQuatrz-2.7.7, the installation blocks at the "destination" level. It asks how to install this soft, "Install for all users" is shadowed, but frozen: i cannot select anything and move on. Any idea how to get that fixed?
