Any idea why my brand new iPad has the same type of video freeze in Netflix and Hulu?
So while I'm watching netfliix or hulu the video will freeze within 30 seconds. The app won't crash or anything and the timers on both apps just keep going even though the video has totally froze. If I move, skip or rewind even a second the video will continue to play from that spot for another 20 or 30 seconds before doing the same thing. My iPad and both apps are up to date with a wifi thats never experienced any problems whatsoever watching Netflix on multiple computers, iPhones or video game consoles. Anyone have this problem?
Hey adam, any luck? I have the same exact problem and its getting me to the point where I want to return my Ipad because of it. Everything works fine up until I watch about a minute of video and then it freezes and the timer keeps going. I even tried RaddMann's fix and that didnt change anything. Can someone please help or else I am bringing it back!!

Actually, they won't replace the screen, they'll replace it. The following is a C&P from the link that I gave you.
"If you own an iPad that is ineligible for warranty service but is eligible for Out-of-Warranty (OOW) Service, Apple will replace your iPad with an iPad that is new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability for the Out-of-Warranty Service fee listed below." -
Any ideas on how to fix ipad after the new iOS 7 update? My battery will not charge, my ipad is hot to the touch, the iTunes Store won't open, and my messages on Facebook aren't showing up when I chat and pintrest won't pin to my boards.
If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go -
My iphone 4 doesn´t connect through Wi-Fi, Apple replaced my phone for a new one, but the new one has the same problem. I have an ipod third generation and it doesn´t have this problem. Having compared both working at the same time, the iphone alsways lags behind or doesn´t even connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. Does any one know what to do?? Thanks
Have you ever checked to see if there is an update for your router? If yes, then power off router. Then on iPhone go into settings and do a reset network settings. Power router back on, and try connecting phone to router.

For your issue - Solution may be found if you search in the "More Like This" section over in the right column.
Change your router channel. Sometimes this is all you will have to do.
Power cycling the router. Read the router's user manual or contact their tech support for instructions.
System Preferences/Internet & Network/Network
Unlock the padlock
Locations: Automatic
Highlight Airport
Click the Assist Me button
In the popup window click the Diagnostic button.
System Preferences/Network- Unlock padlock. Highlight Airport. Network Name-select your name. Click on the Advanced button. Airport/Preferred Networks-delete all that is not your network.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined." Click the OK button and lock the padlock. Restart your computer.

Check to see if an extra entry is present in the DNS Tab for your wireless connection (System Preferences/Network/Airport/Advanced/DNS).
Delete all extra entries that you find.

I will buy a new iPad mini for my son. Currently, I have iPad2 with several payed apps and games among other. I would like to keep new iPad with the same account and to transfer only games to new iPad. In that case I would like to be responsible for buying new apps for both iPads. Also, I would like to know could I backup two iPads to the same computer and same iTunes library?
As you said, Family Sharing would need iOS 8 on both iPads. You can go to the App Store and click on each app in your purchases, to check that each of your necessary apps are compatible with iOS 8, but the vast majority will be so that should not be too much of a concern. The easiest way for you to carry out this entire operation is through Family Sharing, once both iPads are on iOS 8, all you would have to do is go into the App Store from the new iPad and click "purchases" which will now show your name as a family member and allow access to all your previously purchased apps that allow family sharing, including the games. Again, in App Store you can check that each of the game apps allow Family Sharing, by touching on the icon of the app and scrolling to the details area it will say "Family Sharing: Yes/No". It will be free to download any previous purchases to the new iPad. To answer your other question, yes you can back up two iPads to the same iTunes Library, they have different serial numbers and are recognized as separate devices, for ease of use it is recommended to uncheck automatic syncing on the new device for music, photos, and more. My new iPad (wifi 64G) also feels warm at the back.It varies. The difference between 'warm' and 'hot'. As in warmer but I can touch it vs too hot to comfortably handle.
ANd it doesn't seem to be all new iPads. There does seem to be increased heat because of the different battery and the retina display as explained above. There also seems to be some of them - maybe a few from a singular batch/factory that seem to put out what has been termed excessive heat. I would think if it were a universal issue then there'd be something more aggressive being done.
You can always take it into your local apple store and have them look at it and document that you have a concern, but they may say it's just normal heat associated with the prettier display and new battery configuration. -
I bought an iPod touch 4th genertion in August 2013. About 3 weeks ago, iTunes told me an update was available for my iPod so I clicked update. It then said it had detected an iPod in recovery mode and I had to restore my iPod. I tried to restore it when another pop up appeared saying an unkown error occured and it was unable to restore my iPod. I talked to someone on the online help page and they said I needed to talk to someone on the phone because it was too complicated to explain. The first person I spoke to on the phone could not identify my problem so she got her supervisor who said I needed to send it in for repair. I sent it in and yesterday I received a brand new iPod in the mail with a letter saying they could not fix my old iPod and this was a replacement. I plugged the new iPod into my computer to restore it and everything was fine. It said my software was not up to date so I clicked update and the exact same thing happened with the new ipod. It told me to restore my iPod and then said it was unable to be restored. They replacement arrived yesterday. Should I send it back?
What is the exact wording of the error message? It may be that there is a problem with your computer and is causing the problem, not a problem with the iPod.

Does the new iPad use the same charger, accessories,etc, as original iPad?
I'm thinking of upgrading to the new iPad from the original iPad. Have there been may changes? Is it worth it? DO you have to replace all accessories too?
I have an iPad 2 and the change wasn't enough for me to upgrade. Basically I would have gotten a nicer looking screen and a small bump in performance. But moving from an iPad 1 to the "New" iPad you should see a noticable change in speed and the screen really is something to see.
That being said, the wall charger, sync / dock cable and ear buds should work just fine. If you have a case for your iPad 1 it probably won't work depending on what type of case it is. And the close to lock feature won't work because they move the magnets around again.

Unable to send any email from my brand new ipad 2 and my iphone 3gs lately
Lately I found that my Iphone & my brand new ipad2 are unable to send out any email. it keep mentioning about the outgoing setting.."the connection to the outgoing server"webmail..." failed.Additional Outgoing mail servers can be configures in setting, bla bla bla
.I try look for some advices from apple suport communities seems doesn't work for me...pls help...>_<Anyone can help?

I have an old iPad2, and received a new iPad Air. When I set up the iPad Air, I started as a backup from the iPad2, instead of treating it as a new iPad setup. It also asked if I wanted to set up Find My iPhone and I said yes. Problem is that I also (previously) changed the primary email address on my iCloud account, but never changed the iCloud setup on my iPad. So now the iPad Air has iCloud pointing to the email address as the account name. I want to just delete this account and enter the new email, but Find My iPhone won't let me - it asks for my password first. Problem is, it won't accept the correct password because the primary email has changed.
If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

My Ipad has gone dead for over 24 hours now and I can not figure out what went wrong and how to wake it up. Apparently I assisted a friend to set up his new Ipad2 on my laptop, and don't know whether that was the reson for this serious crash?? Please help
Hold down on the sleep button and the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds or so until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Then let go of the buttons. Ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen.
See if the iPad will restart by doing this.

Anyone having difficulty in moving diagonally across the iphone 4 screen? Also try a circle movement with your finger and my system just goes up or down or side to side but won't work both at same time. This didn't occur on 3GS.
