Anyone have the correct settings for iCloud in Outlook 2011 with OS X 10.7.2 ?

I have tried setting up iCloud in my outlook 2011 on my iMac. I get an error "[AUTHENTICATION FAILED] Authentication failed] Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect.
I have tried several posted settings, for example:
Incoming Server: imap.mail.me.com
Checked Use SSL
Port 993
Outgoing server: smtp.mail.me.com
Checked Overrise default port
Checked Use SSL
Port 587
I have also tried adding p99- in front of both server names, still didn't work.
Anyone have a solution?

Just an FYI Julian, Unfortunately in that document MicroSoft have given the Mobile Me server addresses so it doesn't work with iCloud.
If you substitute iCloud server addresses (imap.mail.me.com etc) these instructions work.

on your KMShost, if that is a WindowsServer OS, you cannot use a WindowsClient (WinVista/Win7/Win8/Win8.1) KMShost product key, you must use a WindowsServer KMShost product key.
Further, the KMShost product key must match the OS of the KMShost machine (or exceed/better it).
e.g. if your KMShost machine is WS2008R2, you must use a WS2008R2 (or higher e.g. WS2012 or WS2012R2) product key.
If you will use a higher product key, you will need to install the relevant patch package to do so.
When you install a Windows KMShost product key onto a machine, the Windows KMShost product key completely replaces the previous Windows product key of that machine [it serves two purposes, (1) replace the previous key, (2) activates the KMShost feature].
So, your KMShost is neither licensed as MAK nor KMS, it becomes a KMShost.
For WS2008R2 KMShosts, you can install one of 3 types (channels/groups) of KMshost pkey.
The channel/group pkey you choose, is based upon the maximum product editions you wish to perform KMSclient activations for.

For your issue #2, are you attempting to install your Windows7 KMS key upon the KMShost or a KMSclient?
For your issue #3, are you attempting this upon a KMSclient? (Volume License editions on Win7Pro or Win7Ent, are already pre-loaded with a KMSclient pkey, so you should have no need to alter the client keys). As previously mentioned, no Win7 key is needed/possible
for the KMShost, if the KMShost is WS2008R2.
For your issue #4, yes, your WS2008R2 KMShost can also act as KMShost for Office2010 and/or Office2013, this requires a further patch, and the installation of the relevant Office KMShost pkey.

If you can receive mail and your connection to your ISP is otherwise working, but cannot send mail, then your SMTP settings are incorrect; the SMTP server port is wrong, your SSL setting is wrong, or the username or password credentials don't match what the ISP has, or your attempted accesses are being blocked or your ISP SMTP server is offline.
And in general, don't use port 25 for your outbound mail, unless your ISP specifically requires that; these days, that port is best left to communications between mail servers and (usually) not used by any mail clients.

What are the correct settings for the Canon 5D mark II in FCP 7 ?

I am shooting full HD at 23s97 fps.. tried making a preset for the Canon but when I import fils FCP always wants to change to appropriate settings for this file type but doesn't tell me what that is...

And also, why doesn't the camera show up on the desktop/in the menus when attached to the mac? I have ro use EOS utility every time I want to get anything off of the camera... and FCP doesn't see it either. That's just not right - FCP MUST recognise my camera!! : (

I have ro use EOS utility every time I want to get anything off of the camera...
Anyway, some more specs on your system could help point where the issue is. With the new Plug-In by Canon you can Log & Transfer from the Flash Card (not sure how you connected the camera.) Alternatively you could just drag the files in (but make sure to keep all files such as THM in case you use Log and Transfer later.)
Generally it is best to transcode to Pro Res to be able to work with the files in Final Cut. (Log & Transfer should do that, or using Compressor/Mpeg Streamclip.)
It (Final Cut) is probably changing the timeline to match the codec, or depending on your last preset used, just switching things around. In other words if you were editing in DV and had a set up for that, new sequences would default to that and if you try to ad anything else you will get the message.
Take a look at the search over there -> to look for the Canon 5D threads for some more info.
What I would do is just pull one of the clips in to start and look at what the sequence settings are aftr Final Cut changes them for you - they should be fine generally, though you will want to change Codecs to Pro Res.
I like just batch conversion of all my clips from the 5D Markk II and then work from there. (I do not hook up the camera to the computer, just use a card reader.)

Yes. You can absolutely access your Gmail account from within either Mail or Microsoft Outlook for Mac. Make sure, that you have enabled POP/IMAP in your Gmail settings, then follow the instructions here: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=180188 if you wish to access your account via POP3 instead of IMAP, change the incoming mail server to pop.gmail.com

1) download one of the Buffy fonts @ font space, just as Hans-Günter wrote.
2) go to FontSquirrel, and use the web font generator: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator
3) load up your buffy font, and generate the web font.
4) download the zip package, and check out the included demo file

I have a report with the default: vertical report, look 2 used to display the data. I want to export this as a PDF.
The only option I have is "default", and that gives me a single row of header and data, that over-runs the buffer.
I want to export the PDF in the same format. Does anyone have the XSL-FO for default: vertical report, look 2?

Why did you continue the process of purchasing the accessories and phone if you could have proved the phone did work by going home and charging the device? That is not the reps job. You need to come prepared to the store if you want to get the most for the trade in.

My note on my ipad and Iphone have an index of the notes to the left on my copnuter! I wanted to only print the index and the date after the index. The computer would allow me to print the note but not the date it was indexed or the title to the left! of the index date! Has anyone ever had this problem! I am changing laptops and wanted to keep an index printed out for references but delete all the notes from this old notebook!

It updated the ios7 program and the whole look of the iphone five changed and I am over 58 and have trouble keeping up and did not want to update! I callled and had 436 days of insurance left on my phone and I asked them to keep te money for the upgrade and just give me back the 6ios. of course it is know. Apple was trying to helpe get up to speed but the calendar was given me the most difficulty not being able to see appts forward enough to plan very well! My spouse is retiring from the DOD and for the first time in his life can have his on cell so I gave him my 5 and still had my old 4 got my ios6 back and just now the phone is feeling pretty comfortable again for me. The only thing missing is siri i do miss her! I never anticipated that my ipad would change to the ios7 on its on but the applestore in Tampa said that yes that happens oops! I now will try to self educate myself on the ios7. I love my ipad but wish it had not jumped to the 7ios. big problem again is I have is on my 5 it wasa a 32 and I have double or the max of icloud storage but just learned at the apple store that icloud does not store your photos on the cloud. I am a grandmother and the soul pupose of me purchasing so much icloud storage was for my grandkids pics and now I found out you guys don't do this. Where do you store the photos for people? Really am trying to work with you apple because I think you have a better product but as far as customer service you can make an appt at the service center an hour away and then wait inline for 40 minutes for the genuis bar guys to make you feel like an idiot for not figuring this out on your own or I have to pay just to talk to your service department after I already have in my name 436 days left on my service contract! The contract only goes with the phone even though your update changed my ipad also! A little customer service that is given free of charge when you have some one really trying to educate themselves on and ios7 that they didn't even want would go a very long way toward keeping your customers happy otherwise once a more friendly tech company that offers the better product tops you. Has anyone found the correct driver for Canon MF4018 printer?

I have tried installing all of the available drivers including MF4010 which other users have reported works- I keep getting Error-50 and cannot print anything. If anyone has used any driver for this printer that is compatible with my macbook pro - that could help me out a lot.

Firefox has stopped asking to remember passwords. I've followed the normal routine and double checked settings but everything seems to have the correct settings. Please help.

This happened after upgrading to Win7 from WinXP. I've followed all the directions to correct this according to your suggestions on this site.

Multiple FireFox browser windows opened simultaneously do not have the same settings for many of the functions.

Secondary browser windows open at the same time do not have the same functions active. i.e. Back/Forward, Reload, Stop buttons and the url address does not show in the bar. I set the HOME page in the Options and it does not open with that Home Page. This never happened with any past FireFox versions.
