Applet closes itself !

Question

Hi All,
My applet should close itself when its "close" button is pressed. To achive that the applet loads another html page "close.html" to the same browser window. This close page contains:
<script language="javascript">
window.close();
</script>and here I have a problem with IE ! It prompts that the loaded page tries to close the browser !
Now the question:
How can I avoid this prompt or how can I answer YES to the prompt in a programatic way ?

Piligrim,
in some web places some people says that this confirmation IE asks is issued when back button is disabled (i.e. first page loaded in browser).
A possible solution consists in cheating some browser info. Try with this

function closePage() {
window.opener = 'piligrim won';
window.close();
</script>
Then try to load URL "javascript:closePage()". You can put this URL in a A HREF="" link. Even in your applet code:
<appletInstance>.getAppletContext().showDocument("javascript:close()");
