Application 7.9.5 DAC Not Connect

I have installed application 7.9.5 in my computer based on OBIEE 10.1.3.4 . When I open DAC client ,then create the new connection,but do not test successfully.
My Connection Tyoe: Oracle (OCIB)
TNS Name:ORCL( configured in my tnsnames.ora)
Should I configure other things?

Awaiting accelerated assistance.

1. Unable to connect to either of INFA DW SERVER/REP SERVER from DAC
2. Can't invoke pmcmd, pmrep from cmd line even after added to variable as mentioned below. However, the same from respective bins of server/client can be invoked just fine.

INFA + DAC servers are up and running. Uncomment the java cmd in startserver.bat in DAC and verified the DAC server window shows up. Oracle up too.

Updating the JWS application if the client is not connected to internet.

Hello,
I have a java web start application. My users don't have internet connection. I need to update the application on the user machines. How can i do this?
Can i give a download link for the updated application jar file and when he goes to a internet cafe and downloads the particular file and then copy's to his computer's desktop. Can i tell the java web start to download that particular file from desktop to cache and start using that jar instead of old jar.

I already changed the time zone east coast US - did not change anything
Could it be a corrupt program - thus requiring to reinstall program Application manager

The Creative Cloud File Synching was just offline, should be online now again.

Outlook exchange e mail application and web application not connected

Hello Everybody,
We have issue with 3 of our clients machine that face the same problems.
When they tried to launch outlook, the status of outlook application always showing that, "Trying to connect"
and when we tried them to log on to outlook web application, there is nothing to log on..i had tried to log on with 3 difference browsers, but still not work.. other website as yahoo or gmail are working fine..
We are using Microsoft Exchange.
Could you let me know what is the real issues with that?

Thanks so much for your concerning our problems!
When I tried them to access their e mail through out OWA, no error and i didn't see any display on the webpage and it was just blank!
Last thing, I deleted their user profiles and configure their exchange e mail to desktop outlook and everything working fine, error gone!
If you have any ideas, please let me know and i will bring that to fix future issues regarding this!

Applications think I'm not connected to internet, yet I am

I'm going crazy here. I have been using Mac OSX for a few years with no problems. Yesterday, after using the httpmail plugin for 2 years to read my hotmail in Mail app, it stopped working. Today, while I am connected to the internet via an ethernet connection and able to read the web and ssh without any problems, I cannot use either Speed Download or Software Update. Both apps think that I am not connected to the internet. Can anybody tell me how I can be online, yet some applications think that I am not?

Turned out I had a web proxy box ticked in the Network/Proxies settings. Not sure how this happened, but unticking it solved all problems.

we are in the process of insalling ITS 6.20 (ITS version is 620010318381 ( itsWindowsX64_31-200001681, R/3 4.7 200)
Actually we installed it for dev/qas server with connectin mode property as "Connect to SAP system Using Applicatin Server" these are working fine for webgui!
and the same thing i installed for Production as connection mode property as " Connect to SAP System Using message Server" (hostname/IP, port as 3600 (as instance number is 00) here in the production evnironment we have 2 app servers. The installation got successful but i am not getting the log on screen through the link: http://10.3.3.175:81/scripts/wgate/webgui!
the error message is :
Connect Error

Hello Balaji,
Check the global.srvc file for errors in the R/3 system information. The ITS uses the following to connect to your system:
~appserver
~routestring
~systemname
~systemnumber
~logingroup
~messageserver
Which parameters are used depend on how you are connecting (logon group, route string, etc.)

ITS could not connect to the Web Application Server or the R/3 System

ITS 6.20 on a single host on a WinXP test machine, connecting to R3 4.6C.
The webgui <u>was</u> working, but a test application created in the WebStudio would not work.
Now it's the other way around, the test application works fine, but the webgui fails with a "The ITS could not connect to the Web Application Server or the R/3 System."
I have not managed to get ../scripts/wgate/admin/! to work either.
Is it possible to have both the webgui and WebStudio created applications, working on the same ITS installation?
If yes, any ideas how?

Hi Tim,
You have to check the connection data in the relevant service file e.g.
~systemname
~messageserver
~logingroup
~appserver
~systemnumber
~routestring
~connectstring
If the Agate doesn't run you would see an ITS 500 error in the browser.

Intermittent error in production server JBO-25200: Application module is not connected to a database.

We've set 60 min as session timeout and AM pool parameters also high (<AM-Pooling jbo.ampool.maxinactiveage="1200000" jbo.ampool.initpoolsize="25" jbo.ampool.maxpoolsize="1000" jbo.recyclethreshold="50" jbo.ampool.maxavailablesize="50" jbo.ampool.minavailablesize="25"/>) in our application due to requirements. We are using jdev 11.1.1.7.0
Intermittently The page is getting refreshed and unsaved data is lost when user leaves a page for 5 or 10 min and on return back to application and performing operations back. There is not much load also on the server. When we analyze the logs the below exception is thrown on the logs.

Any idea why this exception thrown ? Is this because of weblogic server connections cleanup or something to do with connections? As per my understanding , JDBC connection will not be released when AM is active/managed mode. Oracle Doc says
" That application module instance holds onto the JDBC connection object that it acquired from the pool until the application module instance is removed from the application module pool."

jbo.ampool.maxinactiveage is set to 20 min which means that If AM in the pool is inactive for 20 min then clean this AM in the next cycle (still that is not our case). We also set jbo.recyclethreshold="50" means 50 AMs can exists in the pool with managed-state. We set these because of performance reasons. As per my understanding, AM instance will be deleted (????) but in any action on the UI will pick up another instance of the AM because datacontrolframe is still valid in the session. Do we have any best practice like jbo.ampool.maxinactiveage should be equal to session time out?. The error seems AM lost the underlying JDBC connection and somehow application is using that stale AM ?. what will be possible reason?.

Application deployed on Oracle Java Cloud Service - SaaS Extension is not connecting with cloud database.

Hello Experts,
I have deployed an ADF application on Oracle Java Cloud Service - SaaS Extension and also deployed database objects from local environment to cloud using JDeveloper. I can see the cloud database has tables and data which I have deployed but when I access the application it seems it is not able to connect with cloud database.
I have followed below document and same sample application (HRSystem).

Application module is not connected to a database

Using JDev 11.1.1.3
I have an application that uses EJB and i have an application that uses business components. The EJB app needs to integrate some parts from the BC application so i package the BC model in a jar file and use it in my EJB to create some records.
This is some code that i execute in my EJB to create a new record using the BC jar:

When i try to do the exact same in the same session, i get the "Application module is not connected to a databas" error. When i open a new session, everything is working fine again.
I also tried using the am.getDBTransaction().commit(); instead of the getTransaction.
Can anybody tell me what could cause this kind of behavior? Am i doing something wrong?

Sorry, just a typo. I modified the classes/package for this post.
I also did some more testing and it appears to be EJB related. The code i provided above is called from an EJB. When I execute the code from a managed bean, i don't get this error when i execute it a second time.
Maybe also useful info. My application module uses a JNDI data source that is configured on the weblogic server.

Here application server machine time is same but time zone is different like time is 12.11 in all machines but time zone is UTC+04:00, Abudhabi, Muscat where as in databases '+04:00' UNK. Here i was tried to change the time zone of Application server, but it was not having +04:00,UNK
So please tell me what exactly need to do to sync the database from 10g db of Mendix application server to 9i production database.

Could Not Connect to Security Token Service Application

Receiving the following:
Get-SPSite : Could not connect to http://localhost:32843/SecurityTokenServiceApplication/securitytoken.svc. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made
I have validated the site and app pool exist and are running... however, browsing to the url returns a 404 page. This is happening on 2/4 servers in my farm.
I have removed SharePoint and Web Server/Application Server Role from each server and re-installed SP to no avail... next step is re-image but thought I would check the blog-o-sphere first...

DAC not able to connect to Informatica services

I have set path variables and added "InformaticaPowercenterClient\Client\bin". Also copied pmcmd.exe from "Informatica\Server\bin". Here i would mention that i have installed Informatica Services in Windows and copied pmcmd.exe from there as mentioned in oracle documents. Now i am able to ping pmcmd as pmrep. Please suggest me if anyone having any solutions.

For Informatica, I believe you have to run the Linux installer on linux, not on Windows. There is a component for which you need to run the Windows installer and move the files to linux but the INFA server install itself much be run on Linux if you are using Linux as your INFA server.
