Approval for Sales Quotation, Invoice & Delivery Level

Hi ,
In my Business Scenario the client want to approval strategy in different level
1. Sales Quotation Approval from HOD.
2. In  Delivery Level they want 3 types Approval like Sales HOD, Customer & Quality HOD.
3. In Invoice Level they required FI HIOD approval
please guide me how to Configure in the SAP step by step becuase i m new to this configuration.

Please search the forum with the text "Sale Order Release strategy".  You can see lot of threads discussed on this topic.  Take the inputs from there.  Adopt the same logic to quotation and delivery also.

Will anybody tell me where to pass JV for sales excise invoice with effecting utilisation also. This is very urgent issue.

    I will explain u clearly, at the time of budget changes our SD consultants done some changes,it taken too much time to complete, but our client was not able to stop the despatch so with wrong values around 1000 nos. of excise invoice posted, amount difference are around 28 lacs. Now they want to adjust the amounts through JV, which should effect in J2IUN also. Accouting document generated at the time of Excise Invoice is
    Excise duty paid             Dr
    Cenvat payable               Cr
    Cenvat payable Cess      Cr
    Cenvat payable Hcess    Cr
    I tried to post consolidated amount in J1IH but accouting doc, genereted is
    CENVAT clearing        Cr
    CENVAT InpBED        Dr
    Ecess CENVAT          Dr
    High Edu  Ecess         Dr
    Because of this it is not updating Original entries and also in J2IUN. Now they are unable to run J2IUN for Mar'08. Please help me what to do.

    Dear Prasad,
    As far my understanding the excise law, the excess amount paid by you can only be refunded by excice office.
    In J2iun the entries are posted thru sales invoice or invoice cancellation.
    The utilization amout increases when we create excise invoice thru J1iin and reduction in utilization is thru invoice cancellation.
    So in my opinion , you cannot reduce the utilization by passing a JV.

    I would like to know the standard smartform name and standard print program name which can be used for sales quotation through transaction VA23.
    For eg: The standard output type for billing document (For T code VF03) is RD00 and it' smartform name is LB_BIL_INVOICE. It's print program name is RLB_INVOICE.
    Similarly, I would like to know the standard smartform name and standard print program name for AN00 output type which is used for sales quotation. .

    You question is not very clear. You can have multiple products also in one sales invoice, so how would you distinguish at the product level. Also, what would be the distinction for determining the region. You may bill to a customer centrally, but delivery can be across to various regions in a country or to a seperate country. You have to first determine these combinations.
    That said, if you are clear that sales invoice no has to be different based on for eg, region of  the delivering address, you have to do an small enhancement, calling up the user exit in VF01.

    Actually Up to 3 level the workflow should trigger after creation of sales orders
    My main concerns are 2 - 
    1. It should go to 4th level only if is is the sales of product of one specific division product (this will be 3rd level approval)
    2. if there is Discount in the Order then as per the % of discount offer it should go to the concerned approval authority (This will be 4th level approval)
    If in order these both conditions are not there then only first 3 levels of regular approvals are required

    I have a custom form, viz. Sales feedback.
    When the user clicks button "Copy to sales quotation" of this form,
    I create an instance of Sales quotation form and open it in SAPB1.
    I have to populate all sales feedback data to this form(Sales quotation form's UPAPI).
    What is the simpest way to do this?
    Also, How can I assign UDF values to sales quotation from sales feedback.

    In VTFL, at item level, there is a field called "Data VBRK/VBRP". Routine 001 & 007 are for invoice split. Those may be relevant for your case.
    In VOFM, select data transfer --> billing docs in the menu bar. It will give you the requirement numbers & their description.
    Select the required routine num & click on Source text (note pad icon) on the above. It will give you the prog / include names.
    For eg for 001 its FV60C001, for 007 its FV60C007.

  • Is There ANY Flexibility in BS Acct Assignment for Sales/Purchase Invoices?

    We are about to go live; and, we have a Chart of Accts that not only breaks out our Income Statement accounts by division, but also does so for our Balance Sheet accounts.  Even so, apparently B1 does not have the flexibility to modify the balance sheet acccounts used for tracking Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables at the marketing document level.  Since Business Partners may be purchasing (in the case of Customers) or selling (in the case of vendors) from any of our three divisions, we cannot setup a single AR or AP account in the BP record.  So, how do we best modify the B1 setup to have a manageable level of work to separate these transactions out into the multiple accounts?  Our ultimate goal is to be able to create three different BS, IS and SCF reports for each division.  However, the complexities of this larger task will be addressed later.  We have the SDK and are willing to make system modifications using this tool if we can achieve our desired result.

    Felipe, I GREATLY appreciate your response.  Your comments regarding means to simplify my creation of trials balances is appreciated.  However, I will not have the opportunity to put this to good use if I am not able to separate out the original data entry.
    I still do not see how to modify the default AR or AP account on a document.  Recall, any of my customers may be purchasing from any of the company's three divisions; and, any of my vendors may be selling to any of the three divisions.  Further, we do not want to maintain separate BP records for each customer, since this will require undue maintenance and/or problems with reporting.  I simply wish to have control of the AR and AP accounts used in the journal entry associated with an AR Invoice and AP Invoice.  I want to use division-specific balance sheet accounts instead of the one noted in the BP record.
    If I can obtain an answer for this, this I would also be interested in how to perform the same split for the several other balance sheet accounts, including (but not limited to) the Goods Clearing account, Inventory Returns account, Cash at Bank account, AR Adjustments account, et al.
    Thank you again!  If SDK changes are needed, this would be fine; but, any example of how to perform the code changes would be very much appreciated.  This would be my first jounral entry modification with the SDK.

    In our delivery note the field sale office is blank... we need that this field will be filled by copy control or user exit from document sale (order sale)... always the deliveries are for the same sales office.

    As mentioned in the above answer, please follow the following steps.
    1. Got VOFM - > Data Transfer -> Deliveries.
    2. Copy Routine 1 to 601.
    3. Go in the code of routine 601 and add the following line.
    MOVE CVBAK-VKBUR TO LIKP-VKBUR.
    4. Activate the routine.
    5. Go to copy control for deliveries Tcode - VTLA.
    6. Select the necessary combination of order type and delivery type.
    7. change the assignment of routine for header data to 601 and save.
    you shud be abe to achieve the desired result.

    Generally, the ATP quantity that having in sales order ia available to other deliveries.
    I wish know if batch is allocated to sales order, is it available for other deliveries? or system will not consider for delivery ATP.

    ATP qty is generated against the Sales Order requirement. It is not assigned to other deliveries.
    If Batch is assigned to Sales Order, it will not assigned to other deliveries.

    Yes - I am having this problem as well. And if I delete the app and install it again - the new issue will appear in the newsstand... I am using an iPad 2 with OS 6.1.3 installed
