Approvals of sales orders in OM.

Hi,
Apart from blanket sales agreement approvals can we have approvals for normal sales orders thru transaction types.
Please advise.

Shouldn't you be looking for them at profit center accounting level? Look at 0EC_PCA_3

  • Worklfow driven Approvals for Inquiry/Quoatation, Sales Order and Contract,

    Hello,
What scenarios/ processes within SAP SD are supported by standard SAP for auto workflow driven approval.
We need workflow driven approvals for-
    Customr Inquiry/ Quotation,
    Sales Order,
    Contract
    and Credit Approval.
Can we do these workflow scenarious in SAP?  Are they supported by std SAP.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I would suggest you to check the standard template in SAP workflow also.
To check the standard template, goto transaction SWDD, and search by using structure seach, you will find the standard templatea under sales and distribution area.
Regarding to your requiements , you need to create the new object by extend from the standard object BUS2032 by using transaction SWO1.

  • How to Allocate service cost against Sales order in Billing

    Hello Team,
Need guidance to map below scenario:
Customer has placed a PO for machine. Aganst this PO, Sales Order created and machine is delivered to customer.
After this he was not satisfied with colour and requested to change the colour of machine. He agreed to extra cost for this.
We created a Service PO against this sales order and repainting has been done by service vendor.
Before final billing I need to add this cost of repainting in final billing document.
Can you please guide, how this cost can be taken in final billing document.
Is I have to maintain one more line item in Sales order for repainting?
    Waiting for reply.

I copied the standard order header workflow and the "Book Order, Manual" workflow to custom workflows.  I then modified the "Book Order, Manual" workflow to put another completely custom workflow (call this "Approvals") in between the "Book Eligible" and "Book" steps.
The "Approvals" step assessed the sales order, changed the order header to the pending approval flow_status_code, and sent out the appropriate notifications.  The "Approvals" step returned a Complete/Incomplete where complete would proceed to "Book" and incomplete would go back to "Book Eligible."  The new workflow was then assigned to the order type needed.  I don't still have access to that environment (job change) or I would give more definite instructions.

  • How to implement Approval hierarchy for Sales Order in Order Management.

    Hi,
We need approval process for sale orders in Order Management module. Currently we are using credit HOLD option for orders at shipping level. The issue we are facing now is we can not cancel those orders who contains Service Line item in it while on HOLD. The restriction raised at the time of cancelling the order that the Line Item is "fulfilled". Service line item's get fulfilled.
Is that any other possibility to have Approval hierarchy for Sales Orders in Order Management Module? If it is possible can anybody share the related document or implementation guide?
    Thanks with anticipation in advance.

  • MIGO,PO,PR, Sales order Problem

Sir i am working in an pharmicitical company .In my existing company before saving any MIGO ( GRN,Goods issue ),PO,PR, Sales order we first have to take approval from manignment ( authorised pearson ) ,if they suggest any corrections according to that we have to change our proposal. In SAP i expect that before saving any of above document system should ask for administrative approval .
Plz forward me any setting from which i will be abe to satisfy my above requirement.

    Hi,
In SAP all external purchasing documents (PO/Contract/ Scheduling agreement ) can have multiplevel Approvals or Release Strategy
Documents like GR / GI don't have any such arrangements, as they are internal documents and are controlled through User authorization only.
Sales Order can't have Approvals like PO but have approvals through user authorization contols
If u need further info on PO approval settings, pls reply back
    Hope this helps

  • Need clarification about block in Sale order

we would like to know is there any other standard t-code available to do the sales order block removal which we are doing through VA02. blocks like schedule line block, road permit block. Thescenario is as follows:
    Line Item Vise :
Z1 Block - If the Customer Doenst want the material / Order waiting for Statutory Document / PO issue / Off Spec  ,Z1 Block on the line Item level is used  inorder to stop MO during Order Loading
Z3 Block - If an order has more than one line items and Business / Customer needs only 1 Item to be fulfilled and remg items to be fulfilled at the later stage or material has to be diverted to  Other orders Z3 block is used during scheduling subject to Business Approvals.
    Header Vise :
Z1 Block - Customer cancellation happens post order loading and post mfg  ,Z1 block is used in Header Level - done during Post Order Loading Subject to business  Approvals.
Z3 Block - If the Demand is More than the supply and Business / Customer Needs critical order delivery to happen for specific Orders,Z3 block is used in order make the FG free and allocate specific Orders subject to Business Approvals.
Partial Delivery of a PO on Allocation:
Business requires Material for T Models to go on Allocation .Suppose 2 MTMs are loaded in the same SO but business needs only one MTM to be billed and hold Other MTM Delivery Grouping is changed in the SO and qty has to be broken in accordance with the allocation
Partial Delivery of a PO on Relation:
If Supply is not there for the Entire PO and still Customer requires Partial Qty whatever it has then the same will made Partillay after getting customer concurrence
what is the standard t code availabel in the sceanrio

    Hi,
    You can try TCode V.00
This transaction when executed will give you the list of all the sales documents blocked for delivery per sales organization. There are various other criteria which might be useful. This transaction will allow you to edit each sales document.
If this is not the one that you want, then perhaps you might have to develop one.
    Thanks

  • Sales Order & Work Flow

    Hi All,
I am developing a report that deals with  sales orders pending for approvals and wf information.
1.I need to know the relation ship between VBAK-VBELN and one of the work flow tables.
    2. I need to know Work flow ID , person responsible for Sales Order
    3. I would like to know what is the way to find out if any particular Sales Order is Pending for approvals.
    Regards
    Balram

    Hi Balram,
Take a look at the SAP_WAPI Fm's (as mentioned before) to build up your report. There are different Fm to get the information you need and build your report.

  • Editing a sales order draft by approver

I have seen a few threads on this topic, but the responses all said read this https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/label/b1/eop_march09.  I did read through it, but it didn't answer my questions.
I created approval process.  Sales orders created by user A, must be approved by both users B and C.
I then as user A created a sales order and added it.
I logged into SAP as user B, received the approval alert and accessed the sales order draft.
The problem is that I was NOT able to modify the sales order.  I could not change the price, quantity or add a new line item. From what I have read on the forums the approver should be able to modify the draft document.  What am I doing wrong?
Second question...Is it possible to specify 2 approvers, but have the draft document go to approved status if either of the approval users approve the draft?  It doesn't seem that SAP will allow for this, but I thought I would ask.

Answer for the 1st question: NO.  All documents going through approval procedure will not be able to edit in anyway.
Answer for the 2nd question: You may assign two approvers in the approval stage only. Then set No. of Approvals Required to 1.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • How to know that a sales order is approved?

    Hi all,
Can any one let me know how to know that a sales order is approved? Is there any flag or status code to pull the information from the backend?
    Thanks for your help,
    Prathima

    Hi Prathima,
Oracle Order Management does not have any approvals, i.e. there is no status as 'Approved' for Order. You can consider an order to be final once it is booked, which you can know from the booked_flag or the value of flow_Status_code field in oe_order_headers_all.
    Hope this helps

  • Work Flow Approval in Sales Order at 4 levels

    Hi Gurus !!!
Sales Employee creates a sales order which should go for the approval of SM & GM and if it is sales of specific item then it should also go to the 3rd approval of another Manager
Now if there is Discount in the Order then as per the % of discount offer it should go to the concerned approval authority
    Pls suggest !!!

    Hi,
    Thanks for your comments !!
Actually Up to 3 level the workflow should trigger after creation of sales orders
My main concerns are 2 -
    1. It should go to 4th level only if is is the sales of product of one specific division product (this will be 3rd level approval)
    2. if there is Discount in the Order then as per the % of discount offer it should go to the concerned approval authority (This will be 4th level approval)
If in order these both conditions are not there then only first 3 levels of regular approvals are required

  • Using Sales Order Approval in B1 does not Synch Orders

    Hello everyone,
I have a customer who uses Sales Order Approvals within Business One for Over Credit Limit.  Those that go through this process, never get sent to WebTools and then later cause the error that in the Synch Manager that you Can not synch the Delivery Document#xxxx because the order does not exist, or something to that effect.  Then I simply add the Order to the Transaction Queue and all goes through fine.  Has anyone seen this occur in their environment and if so, what was the resolution?
Thanks so much for your help!
    Kristen

    Kristen,
Ironically after my last post I have just hit this in a live situation with 65,000 deliveries not synching.
Have you a resolution to this and have you needed to deal with a large number of transactions, if so how?
I am wondering what the implications of unticking Delivery Documents in the synch manager settings has on this issue and also the impact on the loss of functionality in Webtools for the user

  • Open Sales Orders Backlog Report

Hi All: I have been asked to create Backlog reports for Open Sales Orders and the revenue amounts for the next 15days, one month, 2 months, 3 months 6 months etc etc. Does anyone know of a standard report that covers that and the business content and cues that go with it?
    Thanks in advance
    Bobby

I haven't seen any standard content for it, with my client, we actually developed the open order report from Item extractor and status extractor. And compare the created on date to the system data to see how long it has been opened for and put it in different buckets.
    Hopes that help.
    thanks.
    Wond.

  • Open sale order aging report

Need a report on open order aging.  The open order means not delivered or partially delivered. Further with days range since its open or not fully delievered i.e. > 15 days or 15-30 days and so on.
The standard transactions Va05 and VL10c can provide the list but dont provide any aging info.
    Kindly help in this.
    thanks
    anu

    Dear Anu
    1. First in VA05 you can use Variants and get the report as desired by you, create one variant and use Filter along with greater then, less then (all are in selection option icon)
This way you can create three variants.
But limitation is dates has to be manually changed in variants each time.
    2. Try this Tcodes
    S_ALR_87014387 Display Document Flow
    S_ALR_87014392 Display Document Flow
This reports will give you document flow run report with ticking checkbox for sales order, delivery and goods isse then after getting the list expand all (Shift+F12)
you will get the quantities for sales order, and what is delivered and what is issued.
    3. As such if you want exactly the report you can take help of ABAP to create the ALV
    4. Report or create Queries in SQVI , or else create MCSI report

  • How to restrict manual changing of free goods in sales order

    Hi ,
    Goodmorning ,
We have some requirement : In sales order free goods quantity determination by system  should not be allowed to change manually , where can we do this ?
    Looking for your inputs
    Thanks and regards
    Venkat

As per SAP Standard, when the main Item quantity is changed, the Free Goods are redetermined. In this case any manual changes to Free Goods Quantities are lost.
But your requirement is for restricting the Chages of the Quantity of Free Goods Correct?
I believe there is no SAP standard solution for this. You will have to apply a User Exit, which will check the Item category of each LIne item & if it is free goods (TANN) then changes are not permitted.
    Hope this helps.
