Yes i have standby database. Because of this it showing two. Am i right?
I think for each sequence, one archive is applied-->log file move to standby and applied
another archive is not appiled-> because it generated and saved in its own location
Am i right??yes, it shows for copy according to each DESTINATION

Archiving output PO with ArchiveLink
Hello,
I'd like to archive output PO, but I have the error message ME142 saying that something went wrong in OPEN_FORM, when I'm running ME9F transaction.
Message type is NEU, and has been customized to be able to send PO by mail to the vendor (medium 5), and at the same time to archive it (Storage mode = 3 and Document type = MEOORDER).
A content repository has been defined.
When I try to debug it, it seems the system is trying to find a filename, while it should create it !
Does anybody have already cutomized the system to do the same and can you please help me ?
Thks.

VF01/02 archiving output invoice
Hello,
I need some help from you guys on the following:
On VF01/02 when the output of the invoice is completed SAP, adds on TOA01 an entry for the printed output with object key VBRK which will be then available on the attachment list of the service objects.
My question is: where is this peace of code executed? Does anybody knows the program, exit or function module that is responsible for this action?
Thanks in advance,
RicardoHi ,
as per your requiremnet
go to t-code --> NACE and select Output type --> Billing -->and click on OUTPUT types
try to add the your output type as medium as T for Work flow according to your requirement
and callin the processing routine to create entry in the TOA01 Table and archive the Invoice data..

[CS3] Best archival output setting?
Hi,
I have some edited footage that I shot with a Canon XHA1... My settings:
1440x1080
24p
What is the best way to output full resolution HDV footage from Premiere?
I basically want a full quality final render for long-term storage.
Would H.264 be my best bet?
I just want to keep quality.
I would love some feedback!
Cheers,
MickyHi Dan and Jim, many thanks for the replies! :)
I really appreciate the help.
@Dan: Thanks for the link to Lagarith! Looks like there is an option for Mac users too. Nice. :)
I did look at the MPEG-2 setting via AME... But I only saw a preset for HDTV, which is 1920x180... Is this an optimal codec/size for HDV 1440x1080 footage?
In terms of the 4:2:2 profile, I will poke around for that... Is that for SD? What would I set the frame size to? Seems like when using AME, it does not have those values filled-in by default (at least not to the settings/sizes that work best fro my timeline.)
I am still learning a lot, so sorry if I am asking silly questions and/or not getting it right out of the batting cage. :D
@Jim: Thanks for the reply... That information is great to hear. I always save all my tapes. So, just to clarify, you are saying that I should print my final edit back to tape?
Oh, and Dan, good point on there being loss if I have transitions and titles and such... I guess I am willing to give up a little bit of quality...
Thanks folks!! You have been life/time savers! I really appreciate your thoughts and pro advice!!!
Cheers,
Micky -
Hi,
I'm looking for a solution for below scenario
There is an indicator which will decide if the transaction needs to be printed or archived
If the indicator is set to Y, then print the whole FormLists(policy packet) which will be triggered for that transaction.
But if the indicator is set to N, then archive the whole formlists(policy packet) but print only particular form from the formlists(group). I mean if the formlist has 10 forms then i need all to be archived but print only one form.
I know one option to achieve this is set an additional recipient for that form and then do a separate batching.
Is there any other solution which we can do easily like a flip flop
Thanks,
PriyaHi Priya,
The option you mentioned is the easiest way to solve your problem. You can set up a print recipient and an archive recipient, and then create a trigger based on the indicator. The trigger will route a form to either the print or archive recipient batch, or both if the form should be printed and archived. Then you would need to have GENARC and GENPRINT configured to operate on the appropriate batches that you create.

OUTPUT type document archiving is failing
Hi,
We are generating the OUTPUT type documents for billing invoices. For one of the output type the documents are not storing to content server.
tRFC request is generating but it is failing with the below error
SAP ArchiveLink: Obj. type not assigned to storage syst.(Customizing)
I have checked the configuration settings. NACE,OAC0,OAC3,V/33 etc... Everything looks fine
Documents were generating and storing to Filenet for other Output types. Only having the problem with one output type.
Regards,
Sudheer THi Santosh,
It is already maintained. with Print and Archive
Output staus is showing as green, but the document is not storing to Filenet. Even not able to see in attachment list.
tRFC is failing as below
find the root cause as the TOA_DARA details are not updating for AR_OBJECT and SAP_OBJECT fields.
But not sure whether these details upload from the SAP Form or from report.

Multiple input files to multiple file outputs
I have a workflow that can select multiple files and zip them into a single zip file.
What modification should I do to get a workflow that zips each of the files separately into separate zip files?
So I can select multiple files but each file is zipped into a separate file.You can use a Run AppleScript action do do it - the following action can be used instead of the Finder's Create Archive action:
<pre style="

font-size: 10px;
margin: 0px;
padding: 5px;
border: 1px solid #000000;
width: 720px; height: 335px;
color: #000000;
background-color: #FFDDFF;
overflow: auto;"
title="this text can be pasted into an Automator 'Run AppleScript' action">
on run {input, parameters}
-- create a PKZip archive of the selected Finder item(s)
-- if no destination folder is specified, the archive will be placed in the same location
-- input: a list of Finder items to archive
-- output: a list of Finder items archived
set output to {}
set SkippedItems to {} -- this will be a list of skipped items
set DestinationFolder to missing value -- a Finder path to a destination folder if different
repeat with SomeItem in the input -- step through each item in the input
try
set SomeItem to SomeItem as text
if the last character of SomeItem is in {":", "/"} then set SomeItem to text 1 thru -2 of SomeItem
set ArchiveSource to POSIX path of SomeItem
if DestinationFolder is missing value then -- save the archive to the same location
set ArchiveName to ArchiveSource & ".zip"
else -- save the archive to the specified folder
set TheName to name of (info for SomeItem as alias)
set ArchiveName to (POSIX path of DestinationFolder) & TheName & ".zip"
end if
do shell script "ditto -ck " & (quoted form of ArchiveSource) & space & (quoted form of ArchiveName)
set the end of the output to (POSIX file ArchiveName) as alias -- success
on error ErrorMessage number ErrorNumber
log ErrorMessage
set the end of SkippedItems to SomeItem
end try
end repeat
if SkippedItems is not {} then -- handle skipped items
set TheCount to (count SkippedItems) as text
display alert "Error with Archive action" message TheCount & " items(s) were skipped - workflow will continue"
choose from list SkippedItems with title "Error with Archive action" with prompt "The following items were skipped:" with empty selection allowed
if result is false then error number -128 -- user cancelled
end if
return the output -- pass the result(s) to the next action
end run

SD Billing Document Archive Issue
Hi Guru,
I have encountered an issue related SD Billing Document Archive.
The issue is like below :
In our system there is provision that we can Archive SD through ""Services For Object"" option in VF02.
Generally the way we archive it is as below steps:
1. Open a particular billing document through VF02 which need to be archive.
2. Then we click on ""Pricing Condition Header"" -> It takes you to the pricing detail screen with "Output" button in the application tool bar.
3. Then we click on "Output" button -> It takes you to the screen throuh which o/p of the billing document is configured.
4. We set the following parameters for archiving
output type = ZTR1
Medium = Printing output.
Function = BP
Partner = desired partner number
5. Using ""Further Data" button we set the Dispatch time to "4. Send Immediately (when saving the application)""
6. Using ""Communication method" we set the Logical destination to LP01 and storage mode to "3.Print and archive" and Print Immediately option tick marked
7. Press save button created a single spool in Sp01 with spool number.
In spool there is saving only one spool with only 1 spool request type. (say the print preview of spool request type contains 3 pages in 1 spool request)
But when i am viewing the archiving document through vf03/vf02 in ""Services For Object"" I am able to find for the same spool 3 separate pages is in archived document.
when i tried to find out the reason by debugging setting the breakpoint in the driver prog configured in NACE. the debugging cursor is not stopping there...
So Guru what might be the possible reason because of which 3 separate pages in being archived instead of 1 and the cursor is not getting stopped at the o/p type's driver prog.
Please provide some guideline so that I can resolve this..
Thanks & regards
Saifur RahamanHi ,

Hello Folks,
Could some one let me know about Billing Output Archiving?
I want to know the concept of archiving, and whats the transaction code to view the archieved outputs.
Points rewarded.
Regards,
KrishnaHi Krishna,
Billing Output archiving?
1. If you are looking for archiving Invoice document that is sent to customer then we can use concept Document archiving. Here we will archive this document and link it with the business application data.
2. If you want to archive spool list of the billing output then we have to follow the print list archiving.
3. If you are looking for archiving billing data from table VBRK, then we will follow data archiving.
Concept of Archiving: Please refer to Archiving Management Guide which gives you clear information of Archiving concept. Please see this link
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/8d/3e4e19462a11d189000000e8323d3a/frameset.htm
Transaction code to view the archived output: There are various ways to get the archived documents.
1. Archive Information System --T.code is SARI
2. Data Browser Relationship --T.code is SE16 and
3. Archive Index --- For Billing document T.code is VF07
Hope this information will help you.

Print the archived data to the sap printer
Hi ,
I have the requirement to get the archived output document and to print the document to sap printer ( it may not connected to the local pc) .
i got the PDF file from the archived document by FM 'ARCHIV_GET_CONNECTIONS' and got the PDF data by FM 'SCMS_AO_TABLE_GET' , and converted this raw data output to PDF Document and i am sending this document through mail by BCS class and it is working fine .
but i have the new requiremnet to print the PDF document through SAP printer ,Hello
To print PDF data to the printer check that it is actually possible that the printer will accept the data.
You can used the method to print as per SAP note: 317851 - Creating PDF format via spooler in 4.6C/4.6B/4.5B
If ADS documents are being printed then refer to SAP note : 685571 Printing PDF-based forms

Hi All,
Our SD consultant is trying archive output of SD invoice while printing. Currently, we are not utilising any content or document management system to archive.
I have found solution required from the following discussion from forum, but I am trying to configure which allows saving output to external storage device.
Storing SD invoices in Documentum
If any body configured this, any advice will is welcome.
Regards,
KrishnaHi Sudheer,
In my case, I saved the TOA_DARA params into an aux var just before calling the OPEN_FORM. Then, I checked the params before calling the function which archives.
clear toa_dara_aux.
toa_dara_aux = toa_dara.
CALL FUNCTION 'OPEN FORM'...
if toa_dara is initial.
toa_dara = toa_dara_aux.
endif.
CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERT_OTF_AND_ARCHIVE'
EXPORTING
arc_p = arc_params
arc_i = toa_dara
format = 'PDF'
TABLES
otf = otf.

Why won't my unzipped and rezipped IDML file open in InDesign?
I'm a developer working on an IDML based project.
My application opens an IDML file, inflates the contents and (for the moment, without making any changes), deflates them again.
The result is a file which:
a) Opens fine in any zip application
b) My code can then reopen without problems.
InDesign, however, throws the following error:
"Cannot open the file "filename.idml". Adobe InDesign may not support the file format, a plug-in that supports the file format may be miussing, or the file may be open in another application."
I have verified that the file is not open in another app, and that no plug ins are involved.
InDesign will open the original IDML file that it exported, so there's no general error.
I assume the issue is with the zip container not being UCF compliant, and I'm trying to diagnose what the problem might be.
My question(s):
Has anyone been through this and do they have any suggestions or guidance?
Is there any way I can get InDesign to tell me in more detail why it cannot open the file?
What are the most likely issues with the container?
I have inspected both the original file and the output file using Winzip, and I append the results of a detailed diagnostic on each below. The only difference I can see is that some files in the original are not compressed (they are simply stored in the zip container), but the UCF specification seems to suggest that a container can contain either compressed or normal files, so I don't see why this should be a problem. Would this cause InDesign to have a problem?
Many thanks in advance for any assistance. Zip file diagnostics follow.

ERROR OWS-04045 during accessing multiple ports based web service
I use WSA to publish a web service which have multiple ports.
The ant build script :
<oracle:assemble appName="${app.name}" ear="${app.name}.ear"
targetNamespace="http://www.xxx.com" classpath="${domestic.class.path}"
input="${web.home.path}/WEB-INF/classes" output="${archive.output.path}"
style="rpc" mappingFileName="type-mapping.xml" appendToExistingDDs="true"
serviceName="${app.name}">
<oracle:porttype interfaceName="com.xxx.service.ICompanyDefinerWebService"
className="com.xxx.CompanyWebServiceImpl">
<oracle:port name="company" uri="company" />
</oracle:porttype>
<oracle:porttype interfaceName="com.xxx.IUserDefinerWebService"
className="com.xxx.UserProfileWebServiceImpl">
<oracle:port name="userprofile" uri="userprofile" />
</oracle:porttype>
</oracle:assemble>
There is a class name UserDTO which extends another class AbstractDTO, which locates in another package. I used a type-mapping file for giving them different namespaces.
After deployment, I can use the url http://localhost:8888/xxx/userprofile to access the web service. OC4J provided a javascript based stub for testing.
But I met some problems. When I use the web stub to access it , error occurs.
ERROR OWS-04045 Malformed Request Message:Caught exception while handling request: unexpected element name: expected={http://www.xxx.com/framework/bean}operationRecord, actual={http://www.xxx.com/user/dto}operationRecord
I switched the form to display in xml before invoke, I found there are different and correct namespaces on these 2 elements (UserDTO and OperationLog) .So, I'm very strange why the server will response such a fault information.
In addition, if I use default style (just document-wrapped) to publish web service, almost all methods can not be accessed on web stub which is provided by oracle.
Surely, the problem is caused by multiple port. The soap specification is 1.2 and JDK is SUN 1.5.0-b6, OC4J is 10.1.3.3
I just want to konw whether oracle have some better practices or suggestion for publishing a web service which will have multiple ports.
The other problem is we can not use abstract class(only support interface) when we want to use WSA to assemble a web service based EAR.Is it possible to use several "class L4VIPCLASS" inside the "policy-map multi-match VIPs" in order to have several VIPs to load-balance services for several serverfarms?
Something like this:
class-map match-all L4VIPCLASS-1
2 match virtual-address 172.16.1.1 tcp eq www
class-map match-all L4VIPCLASS-2
2 match virtual-address 172.16.1.2 tcp eq www
class-map match-all L4VIPCLASS-3
2 match virtual-address 172.16.1.3 tcp eq 8081
policy-map type loadbalance http first-match WEB_POLICY-1
class class-default
serverfarm-1
policy-map type loadbalance http first-match WEB_POLICY-2
class class-default
serverfarm-2
policy-map type loadbalance http first-match WEB_POLICY-3
class class-default
serverfarm-3
policy-map multi-match VIPs
class L4VIPCLASS-1
loadbalance vip inservice
loadbalance policy WEB_POLICY-1
loadbalance vip icmp-reply active
loadbalance vip advertise active
nat dynamic 1 vlan 11
class L4VIPCLASS-2
loadbalance vip inservice
loadbalance policy WEB_POLICY-2
loadbalance vip icmp-reply active
loadbalance vip advertise active
nat dynamic 2 vlan 22
class L4VIPCLASS-3
loadbalance vip inservice
loadbalance policy WEB_POLICY-3
loadbalance vip icmp-reply active
loadbalance vip advertise active
nat dynamic 3 vlan 33
interface vlan XX
service-policy input VIPs
Many thanks for your support. -
