ARD missing

I download and install the B1DE (SAP Business One Development Environment Setup for SAP Business One SDK 2005 SP01 v1.2 (ZIP 3.3MB). I am using .Net Framework 2.0. and Visual Studio 2003.
When I want to create an <b>ard</b> and setup files for my addon in Visual Studio, i only get the "exe" file, everytime i am missing the ard file.
I am doing the following steps:
1.- Open your AddOn with .net
2.- Build it
3.- Goto create new Proyect: "SAP B1 AddOnInstaller .NET Wizard"
3.1 A form "AddOn general Information" appears:
Introduce Application Version, Name, etc...
3.2 In the next screen you must introduce your .exe (of the solution), the DI and UI dll, and another files neccesary in your AddOn
4.- When the new Project is created.... the .ard exists yet.
Could somebody help me why i always missing the "ARD"-file.

Man you must create a NEW project and redo the steps. Also the installer wizard that you are using, does it ask for paths to UIAPI file and DIAPI file....if not then use the wizard that asks for these....there are quite a few types of wizards that make installers but not all ask for UIAPI and DIAPI paths.....these files are named as Interop.SAPbouiCOM.dll and Interop.SAPbobsCOM.dll and are located in the AddOnFiles folder in your Installer Project Directory.
Kindly search for the Ard file in the BIN Folder after running the AddOnRegDataGenFile.Bat file..
Its all hands up from my side.....Kindly contact the SAP support guys if it still doesnt work.

    ARD only works with Windows computers if the Windows computer is running VNC server software.  Even then it can only control and observe.  Do you have this installed?

    Looks like you're in luck. I was in the middle of updating some of my other machines and noticed that there was a new version of the widget installer posted. After installing, I didn't need to remove any of my widgets for the ARD widget to work again.

  • Track Stolen / Missing / Misplaced computer using ARD

    Hi there, a teacher reported to us that one of their Macbook has gone missing from their classroom cart. ARD reported that the missing Macbook was last contacted 3 days ago. We strongly feel that the Macbook is still within the campus and was just swapped or misplaced.
    Using ARD, what would be the best way to alert an admin once the missing computer reconnects to the network?

    Hi Marlon,
    If security is a risk and you're wanting to protect your Macs, I'd suggest you do the following;
    1. Use the Firmware Password Utility to create a firmware password - this prevents the Mac being booted from
    a) The OS DVD to reformat or change passwords
    b) Firewire Target mode
    c) In single user mode.
    Only users with the Admin password can login and disable the Firmware Password Utility. * Don't forget your Admin password *
    2. Have a look at the following software which protects any Mac which has been stolen and could lead to it being located.

  • Missing .ard file

    Hi,
    I am using B1DE Steup for 2007.  I don't know why using SPA B1 AddOnInstaller.NET Wizard and seems work properly but cannot find any .ard file in B1AddOnInstallerNet.  Normally when i using the old version of B1DE and the .ard file will exist in the Bin folder which is from B1AddoOnInstallerNet.
    Has anyone got the same experience as me?  Please help.

    Hi all,
    I finally solve the problem and i found that Version only allow numeric input.  After i put numeric into version box then the .ard file show out.  Hope this can help others.  Before i put alphanumeric into version box, although system didn't prompt any error message but .ard file didn't show.

  • Ard hangs on script missing machines

    I upgrade my macserver to yosemite.
    ARD was already installed and working fine.
    I run a terminal command (softwareupdate -i -a) on all machines.
    Now the server is yosemite ARD waits till all machines are on the network.It even waits for machines which have status "--"
    How can I fix this so ARD skips the machines not available (as it was doing in 10.9).

    After some troubleshooting wit Apple enterprise support this is a bug in ARD and will be fixed.
    But they couldn't tell me a time when it is ready.

  • Client list keeps changing or goes missing after quiting the ARD

    I have group list based on different departments.  Recently, the list of client would move around.  I often have to fix the list but once I click out of the group list or quit ARD, the list of clients randomly changes or removes the clients from the list group.
    Running ARD 3.7.2 on Mavericks X.9.2

    To stop that, this is what you need to do: If you purchase apps directly on your phone, you MUST File>Transfer Purchases. The itunes content sync is ONE WAY, Computer to Phone. So, buy apps on your phone, File>transfer Purchases, they will automatically be checked to sync back to your phone as well as other apps in your library not on your phone. So, after you transfer, un-check what you don't want on your phone & then hit apply. From that point on everything will remain the way you have your apps arranged.

  • Multiple users sharing one set of ARD preferences

    I need to be able to have multiple users share a common set of ARD preferences which are stored in a central location. Is this possible with ARD? If so is there a difinitive description on how to do this?

    Mungo :-)Its important to remember that Apex is nothing other than a framework for creating HTML and running web pages. So what used to be triggers are now standard javascript events. Although you will find help on the forum for javascript and maybe some in the documentation, javascript events are standard and not proprietary like Forms triggers were. Its frustrating, but there are a TON of resources (google) on the basics of javascript. For instance instead of when-validate-trigger, you'll probably look at the onblur event to trigger a piece of javascript code to run your validation. You can use onfocus which would be sort of like when-new-item-instance in Forms-speak.

  • Half of my ard clients have gone rogue... (offline, sleeping, denied)

    I have 18 iMacs on a Windows Active Directory network. At the end of the last school year I could control and manage all 17 (one new one this summer).
    This year I can only control 8 of the 18. The other 10 say either: Offline, Sleeping, or Access Denied. For all 10 if I try to manage or observe any of them I simply get one of these messages: Connection Failed or Authentication failed.
    What changed over the summer is this:
    1. We added subnets to segregate printers, switches, computers, etc from all being on the same subnet. The iMacs are all on one subnet
    2. We changed the iMacs from fixed IP addresses to DHCP. All of the computers have talked to the DHCP server and have valid IP addresses. They can also have their leases renewed without problem.
    3. We added the 18th computer which is a new iMac with Snow Leopard. All of the other computers have Leopard
    4. I have checked the security, network, and sharing settings for all 18 of the computers and they all match in the fields that I tried.
    5. I should add that when I set up the first 17 machines I had the help of an outside consultant who showed me how to connect to the domain, etc. I am still a rank novice and need help figuring out why ten machines decided to go offline as far as ARD is concerned?

    I'm having a similar issue here at my job. I have 2 computers running ARD on our network. One of them can see and control every computer on the network fine. The other computer can see every computer on the network but 1. There is a lone iMac that doesn't show up in that computer's list of clients. If I choose to scan using Bonjour it will see the missing iMac, but if I try to "Get Info" on it, the info is very limited. If I try to "Observe" it, it fails to verify. If I try to add the iMac by IP address it fails to verify. The only difference I can see is every other computer has a "-" in the DNS Name column but this one. This iMac has the full computer name "Accounting5.local" showing.
    Any ideas for me to try to get this ARD to see/control this iMac correctly again? I'm stumped.

  • Few of my amount_cr lines are missing from the query, check GL_JE_LINES_V.

    I have a discover report which have 5 union all, and one of the select statement brings the information about the cr.type like 'MISC'from the table called ar.ar_cash_receipts_all cr.
    This query basically brings the information of amount_dr and amount_Cr from the general ledger table, the navigation for the same is as below.
    Navigation:
    Enter journals
    pick some Batch Name
    Click find button
    Place cursor on the line item from the list that has Journal Name like Miscellaneous receipts
    Click on Review Journal.
    When you check the record history pulls the information as GL_JE_LINES_V.
    I am not able to pick few of my amount_cr values.
    Tables and joints used for my query is as below.
    Please correct me if i am missing any information.

    Thanks for responding my query, here is best i can mention further regarding my query problem.
    The code which I have posted earlier, has been coded by some other technical person, I have posted part of the main query which pulls ‘MISC’, the posted query is not pulling all the amount_credit (amount_cr) column information, few of the lines are missing,
    The amount_dr, amount_cr is basically called form GL_JE_LINES_V, I have checked this from record history, I want to know whether, I need any further tables to be added for the existing query, in order to pull the missing amount_cr
    Lines.
    Basically, when we check the description of the view GL_JE_LINES_V
    We have few tables.
    GL_JE_LINES JEL
    , GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS CC
    , GL_JE_LINES_RECON REC
    , GL_SYSTEM_USAGES USE
    I would like to know is there any way to use another table instead of
    GL_JE_LINES_RECON REC, because when I query it, I wont see any data from this table and this have two major joins in the mentioned view called GL_JE_LINES_V.

  • ARD 3 Will Not Install "The serial number is not valid"

    Hello, and thanks for reading.
    I am a new network admin in a silicon valley school district. I come from a Windows background and I am picking up the Mac pretty well. I was asked by the support team to install Apple Remote Desktop 3 on my MacBook Pro running 10.8.4 to help people with our Outlook / Exchange deployment.
    This will not install no matter what. I have been trying for a total of about 5 hours so far. 4 different disk, 4 licenses, 3 of which are capped at 10 and 1 is unlimited. There are plenty of licenses available still. I have removed every bit of ARD off from the original install and just tried again. I am at my wit's end here. I am spending more time tryin to help others than I am doing anything else. Teach me to be a nice guy.
    Anyway, if anyone has a brilliant idea of what I am missing I am definitely willing to listen and follow. Than

    First, confirm that the licence codes and the disks you were given are indeed for ARD 3. Most school districts will have a lot of old stuff floating around, so it's quite possible that you were actually given the license code or disks for ARD 2.x or even ARD 1. A license code for ARD 3 should, I believe, always begin with XARD-030-, and of course an ARD 3 disk should say so.
    And I presume you're installing through a user account that has administrator privileges, correct?

  • Symantec Mail Security with Exchange 2007 (Emails with Attachment missing)

    I have Win 2008 with Exchange 2007 and Symantec Mail Security. Symantec was working fine until the license expired but it was still fine until yesterday, we realize that we cannot receive email with attachment. after stopping the symantec services, mail
    flow went back to normal. We then remove the program from the control panel.
    Then i found that i cant retrieve or find those emails that was sent to us during a period of ard 6 hours. i tried looking the the Symantec quarantine folder but it is not there.
    Can someone point to me where should i look for the missing mails? When i do a mail flow troubleshoot i can see the logs that it is sent to the mailbox, but from users's outlook inbox, there is no email ??

    i updated to 10.6.2 today and when i connect to ARD i get the beach ball when trying to observe computers. so i uninstalled ARD and reinstalled it (version 3) and i get error messages saying there are files missing and to contact the vendor. anyone else with this problem?

  • "ARD Not Active" after Archive and Install

    I had to Reinstall the system on a MacPro, Final Cut issues. Since then I can't get ARD to work on that machine. Everything is setup the same as it was. What am I missing.

    It won't let me add a new account. I am locked out and when I try to unlock it gives me the beachball and becomes non responsive after it tries to authenticate.
    I looked at the log file, I am not sure what exactly to look for. I am no programer. I see an awful lot of negative wording. I see some errors like "error (-4956) locating menu extra but they are mostly under system preferences...I see some stuff in the loginwindow that says is not a full path... Otherwise, the only reference I see to the finder is when I have force quit the finder.

  • Sharing Preferences panel missing

    This is probably an old issue, I just can't seem to locate it here anywhere, and Googling only produces fixes I have already tried. Some of the Macs I support (all running 10.4.11) are missing the Sharing preferences panel in System Preferences. This would not be so bad--it doesn't seem to affect performance at all--but that I cannot re-name machines without access to that panel. I have installed the ARD client, installed the CD/DVD Sharing update, both of which seem to have fixed this in the past. Not now. What's up?

    Could be many things, but usually preventable and caused by pre-existing OS or Disk corruption...

    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
    *Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
    5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

    Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
    The usual reason why updates fail or mess things up, is if Permissions are not fixed before & after every update, with a reboot... you may get a partial update when the installer finds it doesn't have Permissions to change one obscure little part of the OS, leaving you with a mix of OS versions.
    Some people get away without Repairing Permissions for years, some for only days.
    If Permissions are wrong before applying an update, you could get mixed OS versions, if Directory is the slightest messed up, who knows!
    If many Permission are repaired, or any Directory errors are found, you may need to re-apply some the latest/biggest updates.
    May even need to do an Archive and Install if you have room on the HD, but saves all your files and gives a new OS...
