There is no difference (usually) between the storefront price and the online price.
Tax is charged where required by law.

You can always go through the process of preparing an order at the Mac Online Store for your country and it should show the price together with any taxes. You don't, of course, actually have to place the order .

Correct Paul - in the USA, each State sets its own sales tax, so the tax is only calculated during checkout once you've entered shipping/billing information. Even within some states, some cities have their own sales tax rate (eg. New York State is 4% but New York City is 8.875%).

Why are the prices shown in Japanese YEN!!!!?????

I am located in Budapest, Hungary, however the characters and prices on my itunes is in Japanese! Is this something there is a setting for that I can simply change? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the same thing happened!! WHY????

You can select the country of the iTunes Music Store by using the Change Country item at the bottom of the main iTMS windows in iTunes.
But there is no store for Hungary, so unless you have a credit card issued by a bank in a country that does have an iTMS - the billing address also needs to be in that same country - you won't be able to purchase from the iTunes Music Store. Sorry, but that's mandated by the record companies who do not want to allow cross-border sales.

I opened my form and downloaded the form to post on my website... but the submit button is not working.

What am I doing wrong? The first time I created my form I used Acrobat and the FormsCentral embedded in the program. The original form was working, but I had to make some changes to it. I can't get FormCentral to launch within Acrobat anymore. The fact that you ask the question suggests that you are not in the UK. But for clarification, whether the price includes taxes depends on where you are buying. I'm sure the Apple Store will state (probably in small print at the bottom of the page) whether the price is with or without taxes and what percentage of tax is added.
For instance, here in the UK, the price on the Apple Store does include taxes, so the price shown is what you pay. This is clearly stated on their store's pages. Delivery is an extra however. I believe the the USA always adds local tax on top of the price shown. What happens elsewhere, I don't know.

Price in store was different from the price on the website (in store only)

I saw on BB website a Toshiba Laptop listed as 379.99 and it says "in store only". So I went to a best buy store in Culver City and they didn't have the laptop but I was told that they had it at the best buy in Glendale. The guy at BB in Culver City was nice enough to try to call them but no one ever answered the phone. So I went to the store in Glendale. I Found the same laptop but I was told that the price would be $549, not $379.99. If the price changed or something, you guys should change it on your website as well.

Here's the deal. I just went to my Best Buy Store in Gulfport MS to get this Laptop, after shutting down my PC an 20 minutes before I got to the store. I got there and they told me that the sale on that particular laptop did not exist and never did. I tried to go online in the store with All the info I jotted down on this PC. The webs for the Toshiba laptops L305D-S5892 at 379.99 and L305D-S5893 at 479.99 NO LONGER EXIST. The sales guy chuckled when I said I got all the info with the SKU's from the Best Buy site. I just got home and tried to bring up the pages here. The pages come up NO LONGER EXIST. I just talked to a friend who tried to purchase the same PC's in OHIO and the store refused to honor the online price yesterday stating that it must have been a mistake and they then tried to sell her a Compaq with 1g ram and 160 g HD, it doesn't even have the required ram to run Vista according to Microsofts website Vista requires 2g of ram. and it was more expensive, compared to the Toshiba that was listed online the Compaq is crap. Another sales person took over and informed her that Best Buy often places these ad's online for in store purchase only but when you get there they do not honor the sale ad posted to their site. The sales rep told her it is kind of like a teaser ad, except it's falsely advertising what they have. They tell you that their store doesn't sell it and send you from store to store trying to find the sale item. Then when they get enough complaints they remove it from the site as though it never existed. Without the proof they can not be charged with false advertising. She stated that it common practice with Best Buy to do this on their electronics. This is BS if they post it they should honor it.

PO: Condition type maintained in header level affect the price per unit

When I create a PO (Tcode ME21N) with 2 line items:
Line Item 1: $5.00 per unit, order 1 unit
Line Item 2: $10.00 per unit, order 1 unit
Then I put a condition type: Transportation Charges of $10.00 at header level.
The system will auto calculate and proportionate the transportation charges into that 2 line items. So now, the price per unit of the 2 line items has been change:
Based on the formula [ (original price per unit * Transportation Charges / total order value) + original price per unit ]:
Line Item 1: $8.33 per unit [ ($5.00 * $10.00 / $15.00) + $5.00 ]
Line Item 2: $16.67 per unit [ ($10.00 * $10.00 / $15.00) + $10.00 ]
There are 2 things here that we want to do:
1. We donu2019t want the transportation charges affect the price per unit. Means we do not want the price per unit to be changed. We want the transportation charges stand alone on it owns.
2. Also, sometimes the transportation charges is paid to a different supplier, meaning the original order value paid to supplier A, and the transportation charges paid to the supplier B (which is a transportation company).
Can anyone advise how can I do this?

give the transportation charges in item level
go to 'item details' tab and select individual item ,go to condition ,maintain the 'frb1' value seperatly for the two items in the PO.You can also assign seperate transportation vendor for items sepertly.
For selecting the transportation vendor ;you just select the line where you maintained the frieght value and click on the 'condition detail' button shown in the bottom of the screen then on next screen there is an option for giving the transportation vendor acccount no.

Developing a site layout like Apple's Website

I layout and ease of use of apples website. I would like a similar layout for an information site I will be creating. The scroll features and the drop down features: can those be created using iweb? Is there a template that is similar to the pages of Apple's website? Thanks for the info

There are no sliding menus on the support page mentioned earlier. Those are accordion drop down menus. js is used.
A sliding menu can be found Here at the top of this page. (wi-fi,accessories,Macs,Applications,servers)
Both accordion and sliding menus are not something that can just be inserted into an html snippet and work it's more complicated than that. First off you need to add the js reference to the head section of your html file, something an iWeb html snippet is incapable of doing. Furthermore you have to upload referenced js file to your host. Also the js file that functions for these menus conflicts with js file generated when you insert an html snippet into iWeb, so using an html snippet will not work anyway! These are just some examples explaining to you that you may be getting in over your head with this one! It's involved and complicated and certain knowledge is required for functionality. Something not meant for iWeb.

Apple Canada is run by TOOLS

So I called up Apple today because my 'whine' had been with me since day one, but disappeared for a while, then suddenly came back a few days ago.
So I call Apple Canada's Tech Support. I explain my situation to them - and they say that the sounds are within manufacturers specs. BOGUS I tell them. I told them it's a crock of crap that my $3,440 CAD notebook computer is giving me headaches. I could understand if there were performance issues such as shorter battery life, slower performance, software glitches etc, but a computer that gives me headaches every so often? How am I supposed to live with that? So with that, the tech after about 20 minutes of "uh huh's" says he'll transfer me to customer relations for a replacement or repair. So I wait a few minutes and speak w/ the CR rep. Another 15 minutes past, he says he wants me to be happy, but he can't do anything except take it to an Apple Store or ASP. I explain to him that the deaf tool at the Apple Store wouldn't hear anything...go figure, Yorkdale mall in Toronto is pretty much the busiest mall in Toronto - and the Apple store is always packed. So with that, he says call up an ASP and work something out - they should be able to isolate the sound and eventually fix whatever needs fixing. So he gives me a number to call - Carbon Computing. So I call them up, and they said they only started selling their units and they'd never heard of such a 'whine' or any issues w/ the MBP. This I can understand considering the MBP is a brand new product. However, what I do find utterly annoying is that Apple, who sells an amazing computer cannot properly fix and be accountable for their faulty design, claiming it's within 'spec'. Apple Canada is run differently from the US, and an empty cannot be shipped to me, where I put my computer into and ship back.
So as it stands now, I can 'fight' for a full refund - which I don't want to do. Carbon Computing, the ASP, will look at it...as they say, but cannot do anything until Apple authorizes the defect. I think this process will be a waste of time. Apple Store is too loud and the not-so-genious' can't do anything about it. Apple assures me they want me to be happy, but really don't give a rat's butt, except that they have over three grand of my money. And my computer may be fast, but I can't constantly use it because it gives me **** headache...as much as I try to ignore it, it hurts my head....
What can I do?

The absolute best thing you can do is be patient, kind and respectful to the people at Apple Canada. A little sugar with Apple Canada reps go a long way.
Remember, they're only answering phones, not designing the machine. Phone support is a bad job sometimes, because you have to listen to people all day long – screaming that their issue is the most important issue, above all the other people.
If you're mean to them, they could shuffle you around the system for a long time.
Not to be glib... but get yourself a couple packages of earplugs and let Apple resolve the issue.
There a significant legal issues a company must consider before they actaully recognize a design flaw. Remember the Nano screen lawsuit? Give them time and relax; or, return the machine and buy an Acer (ooooooooooh, Acer).

How do I change the price on my ebooks?

I'm trying to increase the price on my ebooks but when I go into the rights and pricing section, the highest price tier is what I set previously. Do I need to unpublish the books and republish them at a higher price point in order to do this? It seems rather stupid that there isn't a way to simply move the prices around.

What did you set for physical book pricing?
I don't see how republishing will help, sorry.
Have you tried contacting Apple to see if there is a glitch or rule you're not yet away of?
