AS3 send/import variables to/from php file

Hi
im new I would like to send some variables from ac3 to a
php-file. the
php-file have to copperate with this variable (send
querystring to
mysql-server).
ac3 have to read then new variables and traced it on the
screen.
i found some examples on the net but i have not undersood
any.
can you please explane that to me????

As silly as it sounds, i need the trace to see the error.
I am using cs4 for this and have not found anything so far to explain why it is not working.
You can test it out without needing anything on stage.
This is the error i get and do not know why.
undefined               is the varSend trace
TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.
at Untitled_fla::MainTimeline/frame1()              is the varLoader trace
I need this fixed, but cant find why it is doing it. Any ideas would be greatly accepted.

There is a full script as well, but I still only get the errors stated. Basicaly I am unable to get any variables back from PHP. They show up an a standard browser window, but that is no good to me. My site is 100% flash and i need to receive data so that i can log people in, retreive their names and info, send custome messages to people on the site or even if only visitors. Without flash seeing the data correctly, I cant do squat.

How to import a logo from flat file to SAP in SMARTFORM.

how to import a logo from flat file to SAP in SMARTFORM. i need to know whether TIFF format is used and also the full steps.

Hi,
You can not directly use a logo from a file into a Smart form. First you will have to upload it to SAP. This has to be done only once. Once it is imported into SAP then you can use it in smart form. To import a logo to SAP, goto SE78. Open the tree under GRAPHICS. Select the file type and click on the Import (first button on the toolbar, just before delete button). Select the logo file and give it some appropriate name along with description. Select appropriate type of the image and click Continue. Your logo will be uploaded into SAP from a file. Now in your smartform, Create a Graphic Node, give the name of the logo along with other properties. In this way you can import a logo from a flat file into SAP and consequently in a smart form.

Any one have any scripts to import the data from flat files into oracle database(Linux OS). I have to automate the script for every 30min to check any flat files in Incoming directory process them with out user interaction.

Importing personal certificate from pfx file

Using iPhone configuration utility 3.5.0, Is it poosible to import a perosnal certificate using a .pfx file.
When I try to miport it only lists certificates in the personal certificate store on windows machine? It doesn't allow me to import a certificate from a file.

I am pretty sure that you can mail this certificate to an email account you can access on your iPad. Then when you open the certificate file it will be imported

Sending variable value from php to flash to load an xml file

I would like to load an XML file from the location locally or on the server being unaware of the name of the file. I am using PHP for sending the filename to Flash.

When I trace the evt.target.data it displays "fileName=mainOpenEndedXML%2Exml" and when I trace evt.target.data.fileName the fileName is properly displayed as "mainOpenEndedXML.xml".
But in the next two lines where the loading occurs it does not load the file i.e the swf file from xml doesn't play.
I have been searching the Internet for answers but not able to find any solutions.
The loading works properly if i directly insert the xml file in the code and the swf's in the XML file play propertly. The below is the code for the same:

Yes. you already said that, but I guess you don't understand what I said. You are loading the PHP fle to get the filename, but nowhere are you taking that filename and loading the file that was named.
You need to do two loading operations. The first one to get the filename, and the second to load the file with that name. Maybe if you name the PHP file loader phpLoader instead of xmlLoader it will start to make more sense to you. Something like the following...

   I've noticed that the special character '&' residing inside String, throws an error: #2101: The String passed to URLVariables.decode() must be a URL-encoded query string containing name/value pairs.
My first thought was, it has something to do with html entities, but other entities (like <> or ") don't throw any error. Besides, the use of php functions like htmlentities(); or html_entity_decode(); doesn't make any difference in this case:

I've also noticed that characters like '%', '^', '+' don't show up at all;

Printing user validation errors from .php file back onto a form

Hey all. I have written a simple contact form with the extention .php. It includes the php validation and the form inputs on one page. If the input does not validate, a warning in red is printed at the top of the form after the user pushes submit. When I cut and paste the php validation code into a seperate file, the validation errors print on a blank screen. What I want is to have the same results with a seperate php file as I do when I include the php code on the form. (print errors from the seperate php validation file back onto the form). You want the form to submit its results to a separate file which processes the data. If this separate file finds errors, you want it to return control to the form page which would a) display the error messages, and b) populate the fields with the data entered?
If that's the case, then the processing file would have to send the errors and the data back to the form page either as a) URL variables, b) a cookie, or c) entries in a database.

yes, because you try to split the LoadVars object! watch, you
write: myData.onLoad.... and then: this.split... in this case the
word 'this' refers to myData but your string is INSIDE myData! for
example if you write in php: stringed=value1****value2****value3...
and so on, then in flash:

I would like to send a variable from a Flash(Textfield) to a cfm (textfield). I use this in actionscript2 :

Sending and getting data from external file.

I'm running it in actionscript 1 and 2 since 3 wouldn't work when getting data from external media. I'm trying to find out how to post data to a PHP file and getting from that file I'm trying to make the flash for something that works like a game but differently. Since I just found out how to make the HTML stuff show up but a lot of times, some of my text will not appear so I don't know what's going on.
Does anyone know how to send and get data both at the same time from a sample file?
The sample file is example.php
It has to sent information like ID and NAME
and it has to get information like Description and userID

I did step 5 too because it was almost all that I was looking for but it won't even work. keeps on saying undefined. I would show you but webcam max won't work and I can't show you an example.

You know it's frustrating when I don't know how the heck I'm supposed to do this stuff. I read the whole dang thing and I still can't get this dang thing working.
I did everything. EVERYTHING. I just don't get this crap.

404 error when hit submit from php file for requested path E:\vise\jqproject\web\errorpages\403_error.htm

I have a php script that when I hit submit, it submits the form to another php file with a get command. This worked about a month ago, but this month it's having issues. This is what the relevant code looks like in the table php file. Running
table.php shows the table in the browser and has 404 errors when I hit submit.

The server is mapped so when we run it off of the server, we use the server ip address and my file name and skip the rest of the path, which works fine with the table.php file, so that mapping appears correct. When I run it off of the server (from my
desk) and hit submit it gives me a 404 file or directory not found. When I run it locally on the server, it's saying it can't find the file name, but it says the requested url is `http://localhost:80/errorpages/403_error.html.` Physical path: E:\vise\jqproject\web\errorpages\403_error.html.
The error message says the notification is from the MapRequestHandler of Module IIS Web Core. I'm not sure why the requested url/path isn't referring to visEupload.php.
(Running on the server) When I change the action in the table.php get to include the IP address, it's behaving weirdly:

Login Method and user Anonymous.
When I change the url to just be
    localhost/viseUpload.php
it's getting HTTP Error 404 not found. Any ideas why it's not finding the visEupload.php file? It has the correct .php extension. In file properties it's a type php file with name visEupload.php.
I took a look at
[404 error][1] but I see my "allowUnlisted="true" in applicationHost.config. I'm not using sitefinity, though.
I'm not sure if something got over-written when we did a server windows update.
I know we were having a problem with get and post a couple months ago and we had to add them to the IIS Manager Handler Mappings somewhere, but don't remember where we added them to check. Since I tried directly accessing the visEupload.php without any
get (and commented out get code in the file) it should have worked if that was the issue.
We are running server 2008 R2 and I'm not sure which version of IIS it is.
In case it matters, this is the contents of the visEupload.php:

All I can think of is that when I access visEupload.php it's running from the get/action in table.php. This might be a different user running in the system. I tried changing visEupload.php file properties to have full control for IUSR and Internet
Guest Account. It already has full control for System, and me. Users have read & exeture and read permissions. Or maybe it's something that has to do with how the directory is mapped out. I'm not sure what could be affecting this, and
why the message said it can't find the path to 403_error.html.

Photoshop Elements 10 not importing GPS data from xmp file

PSE 10 is not importing GPS information from the xmp file. Lightroom correctly records the
GPS data but this info in not brought in when I add the photo to the PSE 10 catalog. Has anyone experienced
the same problem?

The Google map module and geotagging have only just been added to LR4, released this week. There is no longer a map feature in Elements since Adobe dropped the earlier tie-up with Yahoo. Adobe reserves the right to change and amend partner services and this has disappointed many users of previous versions of PSE. It’s possible that the map could be re-introduced into future versions of PSE but don’t count on it and given the significant price cut on LR4, the decision could be strategic.

Creating a array from variables passed from php

I have passed variables from PHP to flash successfully but
now need to firstly make them into an array. A next button and
previous button has to trigger the step through the array.
Any ideas?

Read xml from PHP file from Java

Hello,
I have a php file that returns xml data like :

Using java (actually BlackBerry client) I need to get this data and based on status, dispaly the message. I don't want to use any SOAP. I am lost, with how to do and what to do to achieve the goal.
I guess, I will have to use URL to sent and get the data. Am I correct or got to use something else which is better ??
Can anyone help me how to do. Any help/guidance is highly appreciated. Any code line to achieve the same will be much better to understand and implement for me.

Yes, I understand that socket programming can't and shouoldn't be done.
In most of the cases, I will ahve to pass some data eg. for login - username & password, for register - all fields, etc. Then in that case, if i use URL, I will have to encode url like "http://...com/login?username=John&password=mathew", then open connection, then ????
If I do url.openStream() straight away, i don't think its correct. I should be able to send data in some form and then get the resonse back.
How can this be achieved?
