Asset report S_ALR_87011963 is not showing the asset values for perion 08

Hi,
     The internal order number is 400011.The amount 38,300 were booked on this order. I have settled  38,050 into 7 assets hence the balance is 250 in this internal order (Work in progress 100050).
When i check the Asset expolorer, there it is showing me this remaining value. But when i run any asset report, say Transaction code - S_ALR_87011963(Asset balances) with report date as 30/05/2008 for period 8, the asset 100050 is showing as NIL Value. But if i run it with date as 30/09/2008 for period 12, then it is showing the balance amount.Our fiscal year is frorm Oct- Sep.
I don't understand why this difference is coming. It should show the balance 250 at the end of period 8.
The last input on this internal order was in March 08 when I transfered most of the costs to the assets.So no reason to have a difference depending on the date of the report.
The internal order 400011 is having status as Released at present.
Can anyboday help me on this. Points will awarded.

Could you please me How to Upload the GL or Open Item Balances on Month to Month Basis? for this we still use FB01 for Initial Upload?
My Client is giving the balance for last year Monthly with daily Transactions with past Posting dates obviously,do I need to Upload with same Posting dates or with Current Posting date?
For reporting Purpose My Client would like to see Monthly Balances of Open items for Initial Upload,"is this same as Month to Month Upload you advised above"?
What is the Difference b/w Month to Month ORr Just one Amount as total balance uploaded to SAP? which is Best Practice before Initial Upload?

    Dont use the quantity field same as that it come from interface Fm declare one field for quantity in the global settings and write the logic to pass the value to that field and pass that global value to the particular texts...same is the case with currency fields also.

    Thanks marc for your feedback. Ofcourse what you said is right. But is there any way i can see the changed values before submitting .
    For example, out of the 10 records in the 1st page if the user changes, column value for 9 records and goes to the next page and changes 10 records in the 2nd page and comes back to the 1st page to change the records which he has changed already, he cannot see the changed value for all the 9 records which he has changed.
    Is there any way i can make the user see the changed value
    before submitting after navigating to the other page of the report and comes back?

  • Date difference is not showing the correct result for date interval

    Hi Expert,
                    I've created two formula variable one for PO date and another for GR date
    while i am taking the date difference of GR and PO date for single PO date selection
    it showing me correct result , but while i am taking the date interval for PO date it not
    showing the correct result.
    eg: PO date: 01.01.2010   for a particular PO and Gr date is suppose 03.01.2010, 06.01.2010
          it showing the result 2 and 5.
    But if i am taking date interval for PO date:
    eg: 01.01.2010 - 31.01.2010
    PO date: 10.01.2010 and GR date are suppose 15.01.2010, 22.01.2010 and 30.01.2010
    it showing me 14, 21 and 29

  • Tkprof not showing the Execution Plan for Statement

    using oracle 9i release 2
    I have issued the following statements
    alter session set sql_trace
    alter session set events '10046 trace name context forever, level 12';
    --then executed a pl-sql procedure
    after reading the traceout outfile it shows the Execution plan for statements directly wirtten under begin and end block and doesnot displays the plan for the statements written like this

  • Radio LOV not showing the retrieved value

    I have a radio button with 3 options: STATIC2:One;1,Two;2,Three;3
    On "load after header", I run a retrieve that populates all the fields on the screen, including this field. The session state has this correct value but the radio button that matches the value does not get "selected". (So the session state value is 3, but no radio is marked.)
    I changed it to a select list and chose option TWO. After I save, the DB gets the correct value, and when I reload the page, the session state also has the value 2, but the select list still shows ONE
    How do I make the correct radio button/select list item get marked when the data is loaded? I've tried every combination of Source that I can think of (always load, only load when null, static assignment, DB column, etc... nothing works).
    If I change it to a text field, it does show the right value from the DB.
    (APEX 3.1.1 Oracle 10g)

    It still doesn't work with those settings. In debug, it shows that the "value" is 2 but the select list will only show the first item in the list (in this case it's 1). I can't think why this would be occurring, is there some other setting that one can change to make select lists show properly (no select lists in tabular forms will show properly either, but I figured that was related to the tabular form, not to the select list)
    ETA: I think it might have something to do with the column originally being a char, instead of a number. I changed the column datatype and made a dynamic lov based on this and it works now.

    I have updated the Revenue distribution Account for the Debit Memo transaction type in AR.
    But when i am entering a new DM transaction using Trasactions window, the Revenue Account is still showing the old value.
    Even i have created a new memo line with a new Revenue Account but still the old value is appearing.

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    * "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    * "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

    If you run the report from a Web browser and the list of values is unrestricted, the HTML Parameter Form will display a text field instead of a combo box, and a list of static values that you can copy and paste into the text field.

  • I have an imac and I set up additional user accounts.  When I start up or restart the computer it only shows me the option of logging on as the system administrator and it does not show the other accounts for my wife and kids.

    When I start up my additional user accounts do not show so I can log onto them.   The same thing happens when I log out as the system admin.  How do I get to the additional accounts that I have set up on my imac so I can log in under them.   Thanks

    There is zero advantage to partitioning a HD for the purpose you have described. I recommend that you take your machine to an AASP, describe the problem and they will help you get it back working. Partitioning a HD is a 1990's approach and is of no value what-so-ever unless you installing multiple operating systems on the HD. In that case it would be valuable.

  • OIM - How To not show the "Disable" option for a Resource object to a group

    Hello there,
    Is there anyway we can remove or don't show the option to "Disable" a already provisioned resource object ?
    I have a requirement over here wherein there is no reason available to show the "disable" option out of the 3 available - "enable", "disable" and "revoke" for an already provisioned RO.
    How can we remove it ? We don't want users belonging to a specific group see that option, at all.
    Is there any menu item associated with it ? or is there any other way we can configure it ?
    Please advise to the earliest.

    Modify JSP:
    And to do this just for a particular group, put your java code in JSP itself. This is the easiest approach.
    Otherwise you can modify the action class to return two action forwards and then use two different JSP's.

  • GR amount is not showing the correct value

    Hi ,
    there are is a GR with for quantity 100 and movement type 101.
    agian there is one more GR with mvtype 122 with quantity 20.the amount in the PO is 1 INR for each quantity.So, for the GR with mvtype 122 the amount should be 20 but it is showing lesser amount than 20.
    I see there are several Invoices and credit memos posted for the PO but the quantity and price are OK for them.
    Note that there are no subsequent credit memos.
    what could be the problem?
    Please provide detialed explanation/solution as i am quite new in this area !!!

    Please check if the price type of the material is MAP.
    Please check if the 122 moment material document is with any price differrance .
    Please check the postings of invoices is before the GR.
    In general if the invoice is posted before the GR and the price is differrant in the PO and in the MAP of material, system changes to new MAP.and accordingly the postings will take place.
    Please carefully go through the PO history and write down the postings happened in the chronalogical order.so that for the analysis it will be easy.
    Please check the accounting documents created for MIRO/MIGO so that if there exists any price differance, to which account it posted ( to stock account or PRD account)If it posts to the stock accounts definitly the MAP changes.
    Please post the postings happened so that a better anaysis can be given.

  • Packaged PDF not showing the navigation sidebar for individual PDFs

    I've created a PDF Ebook as a Package, where individual PDFs are the chapters. My client tells me that some of the customers cannot see the left navigation panel showing all the "chapters", and therefore can only see the cover sheet PDF
    I haven't been able to see if there's a setting I missed during assembly, and yet I can see the navigation panels when the file is opened in Acrobat Pro 8.1.7 and Reader 9.2.
    Would this be a setting that a user needs to have turned on? Or did I not check something during final assembly and saving? I can't seem to find anything in my Acrobat Help files about this.

    There is a requirement do not show the null (#) values at report level for characterstics fro example for onedocument there is no notification type in report for that document it is coming with null value but i do not want that null value in report it should be blank
    any suggestions  please,mostly provide the information at report level,but at cube level any options at the time loading( through start routine)

      There is one tcode where u can keep ur symbol defined say blank  to show in report when null values occur... i didnt rememeber tcode i will tell you as soon i get it....
    but it will effect not only this query but all the queries so it is upto u....
    and at cube level u can write a routine to check ...
    if  this field value is initial .
       change it with blank
    else
      leave it.

  • Batch Split in OBD & billed for the entire Quantity .RG1  register does not update the excise values

    Hi All,
    I am new here . We have batch split in Delivery and 601 happens for the individual batches and billing we bill for the entire quantity . Hence the RG1 does not update the excise values for the batches and it is showing as zero (upon extraction in J2I6). Upon research through the program the latest note which i presume is patched
    The latest note is N158234 which does not show in the program but seems have been patched considering we are using the Latest version of SAP .
    As you see above in the billing we have billed for the whole quantity but RG1 does not update for the since the batches are zero .
    My programmer says because of some note related to cancellation where it says about values H & J in vbfa table and due to which program does not go through the Note for the batch split .
    Now i have checked few other projects in my company and they all seems to be following the program . So i am wondering whether my process or some customization is missing .
    Sales order (no batch determination)  , in delivery the batches are picked through wm to and batch split happens in the delivery . Then billling for the whole quantity . We have automatic excise invoice creation enabled so no J1IIN .
    Can somebody help me .

    How about the other projects' values in VBFA where your techinical team is guessing some issue.  Have you compared this?
    Since you have already the note 158234 implemented in your system, ideally, you should not face any issue.
