Assigning USERS to Org plan issue

hi SRM Gurus,
i created user in su01,but iam unable to assign this user to ORG plan.but when i was searching USER in
PPOMA_BBP it is  available. from there how/where can i assign user to org plan at what level. and i was  repair
the org plan through BBP_OM_BP_INTEGRATE.after running this also iam unable to assign. so please suggest
me on this issue.

Hello,
In SRM 5.0, Please follow the steps below
1. Go to transaction USERS_GEN
2. Select the first option "Copy User & Employee Data from Template"
3. Select option 3 "Create users from existing SU01" - execute
4. Select the Org ID and Country
5. Select "Area of Users" to get one user Id to the org structure
6. Enter the user id and select the user id.
Once this is complete. Go back to the org structure and search for this user.

    Right click on the Position and select  'Assign' -Select UserIf you are unable to see the users Then try following work around,
    Check  the  Organizational Management set up
    Path:SPROMaster DataBusiness Partner --Set Up Integration with Organizational Management.
    1. Activate global HR integration by setting the main switch HRALX/HRAC to 'X'.
    2. Activate the integration between business partners and organizational units by setting the switch HRALX/OBPON to 'ON'.
    3. Activate the integration between business partners and employees by setting the switch HRALX/PBPON to 'ON'.
    4. Numbers can generally be assigned in three ways when creating business partners:
    a) Number is taken as before from the general internal interval for number range object BU_PARTNER.
    b) Number is taken from the special internal interval for the object.
    c) Number is taken from HR and given a prefix. A special external interval is used, which has to be defined as XX00000000 to XX99999999, where XX stands for any two letters.
    Number assignment is set for organizational units using HRALX/ONUMB, and for employees using HRALX/PNUMB.
    The number range object for all switch values is BU_PARTNER, the interval being dependent on the switch value. The internal standard interval is used for switch value 1, for switch values 2 and 3 the interval is defined by the switch HRALX/OSUBG or HRALX/PSUBG. For switch values 2 and 3, a grouping also needs be created for these intervals using transaction BUC2.
    To enable the system to connect the grouping and the number range interval, the name of the grouping must be exactly the same as that of the corresponding number range interval. The name of the grouping is in the first column of the table.
    If you choose number assignment type 3 for business partners with the role employee (switch HRALX/PNUMB = 3), create the switch HRALX/PSUBG manually in table T77S0.
    5. If you would like users to be informed by e-mail when errors occur, the recipient can be defined in switch HRALX/MSGRE (0=No messages, 1=Workflow administrator is notified, 2=User receives mail, 3=Both are informed).
    6. If addresses are required to generate business partners correctly, the switch HRALX/OADRE must be set to 'X'. The standard address to be assigned to every organizational unit without its own address can be defined using HRALX/OADBP.
    To create a standard address, create a business partner with an address and then enter this business partner's number in the switch.
    7. If qualifications for employees are also to be transferred, the switch HRALX/PQUAL must be set to 'X'.
    Effects on Existing Data
    If you have already transferred employees from a connected HR System in an earlier CRM Release and have now upgraded, the relevant employees (personnel numbers) must be transferred again to the CRM System by initial distribution. This enables important employee information to be stored in the target system, and changes to be transferred correctly to the business partner master records.

  • Repalce old user ID with new user ID in Org Plan

    Hi,
    I have a requirement. In our company, we have different type of user IDs for permanent employees and contractors.
    Whenever the contractors postion gets confirmed we will create a new user ID for that person.
    Now this new user ID has to be updated in the SRM org plan.
    As the user's old user ID is already assigned in the org plan and at the same time user have created lot of shopping carts, we want to replace his old user ID with the new one so that all the shopping carts will not get deleted.
    Basically I want to know, how to unassign the user ID from business partner and assign a new user ID.
    Is it possible to replace like that? Please advise.

    Hi,
    I noticed a feature in txn: BP --> Relationship
    In the relationship category, I could see two categories: Replaced by, Is replacing. Not sure what is the exact functionality of that.
    Do any one knows about that feature? Could you please advise me on that field?
    Also, Is it possible to change the validity period of BP or user assignment ?
    Will the above two resolve my issue?
    Since user has created many shopping carts and user needs access to those SC with his new users ID, I would like to confirm with you before taking any risk.

    I have a question related to the Org. Plan.
    I am creating a custom PO form from the standard SRM BBP_PO form and one
    of my requirements is to get the Purchaser Name associated with the Purchasing Group in the Org. Plan.
    From the smartform, I can get the Purchasing Org, Purchasing Group, and the
    PO Number through SF_PO structure, but, they are not helping because I cannot
    use them to locate the Object Id related to the Purchasing Group in order for me to get the Buyer Name from the HRP1000 table.
    I've tried to run txn BBP_PD with the trace on, but, I still cannot pinpoint where to get the information.
    Please help.

  • Risk Management 10: Assign users based on Org structure

    Hello,
    In GRC Risk Management 10, you can assign users to a risk in the roles tab of a risk. 
    Is it possible to be able to assign any employee in HR org structure to one of these roles such as Risk Owner?
    More specifically, would it be possible to create a link such that only the employees in the assigned organization unit in the risk are shown in the list of users to be assigned to one of these roles?

    we have the scenarioas below
    need to integrate the third party HR system ORG structure entity to the Role based travle management approval task.
    but the process and workflow structure for all the department are same.
    only the roles are different for each user.
    no need to disple the standard  approval role in Process initiation.
    Custom role should be populated based on the selection from the first action.
    example: if the user need cash and he should select the cash need option from
                  first action then the finace approver should appear in next action.
                  if not it should not appear.
    please advice which GP callable object is best for this process.
    i have the plan to use the webdynpros..

  • No Purchasing Group is assigned to Org plan attributes

    Hi,
        When the user is creating a SC he is getting the following error "No Purchasing Group is assigned to Org plan attributes".I have checked the users Org structure in PPOMA_BBP,But everything looks fine.

    product category are directly related to purchase group. depends upon the settings in the organisation structure , the system determines which purchase group is responsible for procuring this product category.
    so back track your product category and purchase group link and this purchase group is made a link with purchase organisation. since product category responsiblity is a mandatory in srm.
    Can you update here . where your user was positioned in org structure?
    hope that you made a link between purch organ with purchase group?

    have you maintain Organisation responsibility under the responsibility tab?.

  • Number Range assignment to Org plan/model

    Hi,
    have a question on number ranges w.r.t Org plan.
    in CRM 5.0, my number assignment is independent of all plan versions (maintained 'X' in t.code OONC).
    Now I want to create a new number range and assign it to the new org model/plans that I will be creating - how do I do it.
    I could define the new number range but am not sure how to assign this to the org plan. If I explain it the other way, how does the Org plan determine which number range it has to use ?

    I did assign the new number range id here as per your message and saved but when I try to create the new Org model/plan, it still takes my old range - is there any dependency as well that I need to change?
    One more observation, on the same table T77S0, I have the value '1' for HRALX-ONUMB.
    I changed HRALX-ONUMB to '2' and then maintained HRALX-OSUBG with the Z1 number range (custom), but still my Org model determines the old number range?
    Could you suspect something?

    Hello, I am working on a SAP CRM 7 Sales implementation and we are implementing leads and opportunity scenarios. The current business organization model is that there multiple vertical and horizontal departments. This is typical matrix structure. This organization has done the segregation of its clients based on the verticals so every clients belongs to at least one or more Vertical department but Horizontal departments can contact all the clients. In the same way sales executives are also either belonging to one or more Verticals or Horizontal departments? Horizontal sales executive can create leads for any clients available in the system but a Vertical sales executive can only create lead only for the client belongs to his vertical and assigned to him. This can be achieved by creating organization structure and business partner relationship.
    Now the problem statement is that few sales executives need work for both some Verticals and Horizontals at the same time. But requirement is that they should be able to do the both roles with single user id but multiple roles. So when sales executive is creating leads his vertical department, he should only be able to select clients assigned to his Vertical only but when he is creating lead for Horizontal department, he should be able to select any clients.
    So Can I determine the business partners linked to user based on the assigned role and org. structure?
    Please let me know if this is not clear also  note we are only using CRM WebUI no SAP ePortal.

  • Assign Access in Planning issue

    Hi everybody,
    I am unable to assign user with - View User, Essbase Write Access role; i provision user in shared services after creating user and even i refreshed essbase;
    I also assigned Dimensions, Task list & data form in Planning (classic); at the time of logging user is getting error-
    Error Message "Application is in maintenance mode. New login are not allowed" while if i add administrator role he can login.
    can anybody suggest what is correct sequence of assigning user in planning if i have admin right.

    You will need to take it out of maintenance mode which only allows admins to log in and set planning to allow all users.

  • How can you assign user 1 to org 1 and user 2 to org 2. (Reports)

    if i use user 1 and user 2 for org 1 and org 2 respectively. I want user 1 can see the data of org 1 only not org 2 and same for user 2 can see the data for org 2 only how i can do this in reports. Now suppose you have 200 user and org then how you handle this in reports.

    Maintain a table with two fields - user & organisation.
    Fill it with proper user & his corresponding org details.
    While fetching the data for report output, take the user as input & fetch the corresponding Organisation.
    Then while preparing the final output data, prepare it based on the users organisation.

    why the user ID has displayed double at user level in org plan.
    Ex: US>BP>S>S.
    in the above example upto user >business partner i under stand.
    but S>S shows double for the same user with same number.
    what is the reason.

    This is not an issue: it is the standard display for users relationship.
    Maybe because a post can be assigned to several users.

    Issue has been resolved,issue is due to the last name is not maintained for the user in SU01 then user trying the assign to org through users_gen t code.

    Hello Experts
    I,m trying to assign roles to elements of the Organizational Structure (positions, organizational units) so, when we assing a Business Partner with employee role (with a specific user) to a position, it gets all the roles of that position automatically.
    In a previous thread I have seen the following procedure:
    PFCG > Edit a rol > user tab > Org. Management button > Create assignment > Position > Select a position from combo > Create
    But in my case the Org. Management button looks not active.
    Is there some preliminary activity to do?

    Resolved.
    The system only displays this pushbutton if you have defined an
    active plan variant in the current client, the prerequisite fir
    using Organization Management. If you have not defined this
    active plan variant, you cannot see Org. Management .
    Otherwise, you should choose "Full view" at the start of the transaction.

  • Maintenance Item assignment to a Maintenance Plan

    Dear Expert,
    we need some help about the following scenario.
    Currently we are working on preventive maintenance in SAP ECC 6.0 system. We have created several maintenance items without assignment to maintenance plans in order to use them like models: to make quickly the creation of a maintenance plan our users can choose the suitable maintenance item from a range.
    In these items we have inserted only strategy and maintenance task list but we have not insert the technical object.
    We carry out the following steps:
    1. we run transaction IP42;
    2. we insert the maintenance category and the strategy;
    3. in the tab "Item" we press the button "Assign more items";
    4. system runs report RIMPOS00 (Display Maintenance Item: Selection Criteria) in order to select the item to insert in the maintenance plan. In this screen the followin fields are locked (we can not change them):
    - "Maint. plan cat.";
    - "Maintenance strategy";
    - "MaintPlan assignment" and the radio botton is set on "without".
    In this way if a maintenance item has been already assigned to a maintenance plan users can not select it for the current plan.
    In your opinion could we open the radio buttons for the field "MaintPlan assignment" ? Could anyone help us ?

    After clicking on Execute button u will get a pop up " Customising list editing "Double click on selection do the changes & save.
    It will work i think.
