AT&T keeps sending bill collectors after me!

For over two weeks I have been trying to contact someone within the AT&T institution to help me resolve a quandry I recently found myself centered around. I did my du diligence as a costumer and contacted AT&T with the appropriate information they need to access my account and help me understand why the problem occured and how we can fix it together.  I received a bill collector call from AT&T's third party collector accessory saying I owe them $163.52 for an account that has been closed in April of 2014. I will spare you the aggravating details we customers all seem to go through, the constant transfering, the incessant disconections, and the amount of time this takes away from my family, personal, and work life. Not to mention the fear of these relentless calls effecting my credit score. Finally, I reached a very personable kind lady who explained the reasons for the calls. This is after speaking with over 20 representatives. What happened was, AT&T called me with their new offer that comprises all the bells and whistles U-verse has to offer, at a very low cost. I agreed. So what they did is bundled my TWO landlines and television AND changed my phone numbers! However, undisclosed to me they cancelled one of my landlines becasue it was a business line, no one asked me that when I agreed to the bundle. So after two month with no business line and loss of money the business line went back on an AT&T statment and was left off the U-verse account. Which always becomes a question when I call, "Is this about U-verse or AT&T landline, becasue I only see a U-verse account." - AT&T REP.  This is where things get really messed up, in the AT&T system no one seems to be able to access my AT&T account, it is as if it disapeared. So once again, AT&T bill collectors are calling me a week later for a $466.00 bill past due. Why was this information withheld from me when I asked if I owed any other fees only a week prior? Also, if AT&T kept sending out bills to an address I provided them, but recieved no payment, why wouldn't AT&T call me? I have been a loyal customer for six years. This is AT&T's blunder.

    We have rolled out a fix for this issue.
    Please log off and log back in to your machine and the issue should be resolved automatically. In case that does not work, please manually run the msi installer posted here (may require reboot).

    have opened the "Spelling and Grammar" -Ijust did it again and found 'correct spelling automatically' Ihave now turned it off. Ihope that fixes my problem. no, it has not , as you can see this email has the same problem.

  • Trying to send files to After Effects, keep getting "Importer is reporting a generic error" message?

    I googled around for a solution to this but haven't been able to find anything. Basically exactly what I said in the title is what happens: none of my Premiere projects will let me send anything to After Effects, it just keeps setting off a little box that says "Importer is reporting a generic error" anytime I try. This is frustrating, obviously, as the entire purpose of having all these programs together is to send them back and forth and have everything work in harmony.
    I'm on a Mac, and running CS6 across all aspects of the softwares, I have the Creative Suite, so all of them are the same version of the software.

    If you have a backup, you can restore the e-mails. Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J.  When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Library/Mail/V2.

    So you updated iPhoto to iPhoto 9.6? That is the only version that is fully compatible with Yosemite.
    And are you running iPhoto 9.6 from the Applications folder? The Dock icon might still be linked to an older version, or you might be running the previous version from a backup drive.  That would explain prompts to backup.  Launch your new iPhoto version by clicking the icon in the Applications folder.

    Are you seeing a prompt to upgrade the iPhoto Library?  You need to run the Library Upgrader  for iPhoto Libraries created by iPhoto 7.1.2 or earlier.    iPhoto 9.6 cannot upgrade these libraries directly to the new format. They need to be prepared.  If you upgraded from a very old iPhoto version, download the upgrader as described in the link, install it, and then run it on your iPhoto library. It will be installed in applications > Utilities.

  • REcieved BT Bill even after giving one month of No...

    I know BT are desperate to keep customers, but when someone cancels, it becomes dishonest and i would have thought illegal for them to keep billing them.
     I cancelled my BT subscription by giving 1 month's notice. I was not in any contract.
    They explained to me that I have to pay 30GBP for cancellation if the new tenant doesnt take up th line. I agreed that I dont know when the new tenant will move in and if he doesnt take the same line then I will pay the cancellation ...but please close the account. Which the guy on that day confirmed to me as being processed.
    For some reason though, I received an email today whereby I have been billed for next month cycle for both Phone and Broadband.
    I am out of property and don't live there anymore and being billed for a service that I will no longer use and have already infomed BT for the stopping.
    I called up BT to enquire. 5 or 6 phone calls later (from call center Guys in India .each of which I have to hold for at least 10 mins, and one of which the operator hung up on me! and each call costing many ££s) I was advised that there is no record for my notice in the systems. I told them a date then she managed to dig out the call (after 5 mins of hold) that I indeed made a call on the date I told but there is no record. After asking for the recording of the call and escalation to manager ...She became nice however and she said she will raise a complaint on my behalf and the manager will listen to call and will call back . 
    I got the call from Manager (Call Center India) on time mentioned and the manager repeats the same thing that he has gone thrugh the recording but he can't listen that I requested any cancellation. Although he confirmed the part conversation that I told them that I am moving out a new tenant will come in.
    Asking for the details of conversation recording to be emailed to me He tells me that I need to pay 10pounds more as it's DAta protection (My own data and my own conversation) and gave me a postal address to send the cheque and request for the recordings.
    This is highly unprofessional of BT (maybe call center guys can't understand ENGLISH) as I know why I called BT on X day and Y time... and what I requested. BT doesnt offer free phone-pleasure service :-) whereby I would call them hold the line for 30 mins to say I am moving house.. please keep on billing me :-)
    It's very stupid of them telling me that I indeed called up but for What...????
    Well I am clearly not getting anywhere on the phone, so I am posting on this forum in the hope that someone can steer me in the right direction to get this resolved please.
    Or maybe on weekend Everything goes to Call centers in India who dont know how to deal with matters and just repeat a Script in fornt of them.
    Is the only way to resolve, or is there a department that listens and doesn't leave you with your lunch break wasted and blood pressure raised?

    we need to configure our output determination to be able to send billing invoices via email to multiple recipients.
    In our old 4.6c environment it worked with output type 5 when we added multiple comma separated email-addresses to the customer master record.
    After applying some kernel updates, this does not work anymore.
    does anyone have experience with that?
    I tried to set it up for output media 7 (SAPoffice) and wanted to get it working with SAP distribution list. but I struggle and I am at the point where I feel like I have tried everything.
    Maybe it's just an easy setting I'm missing.

    As regardss to the iChat and iChat Sharing categorisation you have used.
    In iChat 6 (lion) and Messages (Mountain Lion) the apps login to AIM and to Me.com
    The Login to Me.com allows AIM to verify the password to the iCloud issued names (@me.com and @iCloud.com)
    This "Dual" login also prevents the newer iCloud issued name from using this site
    (it has extra Privacy settings that iChat can't access for your AIM and Aim valid Accounts)
    Ignoring the @mac.com and MobileMe entries in the Add Account Screen in iChat and using the AIM one does not get around this issue.
    AIM and @mac.com names still work in older versions of iChat.
    The short answer is that iCloud issued Apple IDs do not work in iChat 5 or Earlier.

    What can I say? Yet another inconvenient feature that Skype has purposely added I think? No no Skype. No need to send over a representative to apologize for the inconvenience. I am fully aware that you are highly unappologetic about the horrible features that you force upon your customers.
    Every time I have a legit complaint about Skype I think it's a mistake only to find out it's INTENTIONAL.
    I basically had to uninstall skype from my phone because it keeps booting itself up after I blatantly turned it off. And as a result when a call crashes on my desktop or my laptop the call is redirected to my mobile and uses up an HUGE amount of data on my phone and after it cost me more money because it forced my data to roll over the limit on my plan the only option was clearly to remove it entirely.
    Oh skype don't worry you also don't have to apologize for forcing people to update. Because clearly forcing people to do calls in high quality was the answer as people with old computers clearly don't need skype anyways right? My sister just switched to another messanger because you seem to think that with each update it's best to make skype a heavier and heavier CPU MAMMOTH. Yep effeciency is clearly not your goal. Not even giving people the option to lower the call quality to make it easier for older or slower computers isn't needed either! Nope! Also my Samsung Galaxy S3 couldn't even RUN skype without crashing not even just the instant messanger. That phone came out 2 years ago? You know I guess if you can't have the newest and best technology you obviously don't deserve to talk to your family in another country? Because you're not rolling in the doe right? It's obvious which demographics you're aiming for! You clearly don't want poor people using your software!
    It seems like with each update you just make your technology more obnoxious.

    Okay, let me see if I understand this correctly. You are pressing the sleep/wake button to put the phone to sleep, and instead it is powering off? When you tap on the home button, the phone will not wake up?
    Are you just tapping the button or holding it down for a period? You can try a reset, hold the sleep/wake and home button together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot.

  • Mac Mail in full screen keeps sending same email

    In full screen mode, after I hit "SEND" , the email doesnt close (as if i havent pressed send).
    If I keep pressing "SEND" it keeps sending the same email (unfortunate for the recipient).
    The only way to releave the problem is to exit fullscreen.
    Anyone else having this issue?

    I found out what is was. I had serial mail try to send about 200 emails. Something went wrong (not sure whether it is lion compatible) and there were a load of unsent emails somewhere in the background. Funny thing was they were not showing anywhere, just when I tried to close window, an unsent message popped up.
    Anyway, force quit mail as I could not be bothered to find out how many mails had not been sent, and on reopening all back to normal

  • Getting bill collector calls for family member's AMEX

    I was an authorized user many years ago on a family member's AMEX. My responsibility was terminated several years ago. AMEX only shows on 1 report as "relationship terminated" and nothing has been reported since 2008. I am even thinking that AMEX isn't even the AMEX that the bill collector is calling about, not sure. Obviously this family member hasn't paid their card. I am guessing the bill collector googled my name (very uncommon name, easy to find my land line phone #.)  I have excellent credit. Nothing can show up on my report, right? Collections, etc? I know bill collectors will do whatever it takes to get the money. Anyone have any similar experiences? I am in the clear, right? I have worked so hard to have good scores and I don't want it to go down the drain! Thanks for your advice!

Sounds like I'm good and there's nothing to worry about!
