Attach flvplayback dynamically - when is it initialized

hello,
i am trying to create a class that would use the flvplayback
component. i do not want to place the component on the stage as i
need to deal with that dynamically, and i need to reuse the class
in many projects.
however i find problems, as even if the flvplayback is
attached on the stage, it has not been loaded yet. so i tried using
a setinterval to deal with that, but it did not always work as the
delay seems to change depending how many processes are going on at
the same time
i stumbled upon the ready property (or event? i have a hard
time understanding the event handling), but it seems like it does
not do me any good since the event is never called.
can anybody help me? it would be greatly appreciated

Hi Fabien - I had tried to follow and implement the code Liam referenced, but was unable to get it to work.
I ended up grouping the products instead. The good thing was, product grouping accommodated different shipping packaging sizes. (I don't believe attributes will allow you to do this?)
Some of the possible downsides to using product groupings include:
Possible "duplicate content" SEO concern - which I believe I addressed (I granted search engines access to these grouped product pages via one url only).
Updating product details with product grouping can be more time-consuming, compared with using attributes. However, I do not have a lot of groups or products, and do not anticipate many updates.
I think the way the system displays product attribute prices by default is very confusing to the visitor. Hopefully you will be able to make sense of the code reference provided in Liam's link. Otherwise, maybe one of the BC pros would be kind enough to help walk you through the price update code for attributes. Good luck on your site, Fabien.

Sounds like we have a similar problem. Four days ago I was playing music through a wireless Bose speaker via bluetooth and everything was fine. Then I was texting while listening and got 2 texts about the same time as I was typing one and my phone went black. I pushed the home button and it worked, went into my texts and all were there. However ever since then the time isn't right, so it can't keep time no matter what I do. The bluetooth works only at times, the wifi keeps jumping on and off, sometimes my data won't work and the other day I couldn't even turn it off, so had to wait until it died. The battery life display at that moment wasn't correct either. Took to Verizon, they couldn't help. Suggested a factory reset, which I did last night and still the same issues! One day I couldn't even text my husband on his iPhone. Just wouldn't work at all. Did everything suggest and still not good. Seems like after stalking these pages today a lot of people are having this problem in Dec/Jan and of course also I'm 3 weeks out of my 1 year warranty and so were many others, by days. Very strange, and all on the 5C. What did you do? Is it working now?

That looks like the logic which was written into the VI
Inner true/ false case:
(file exists : false) write to XML file, unflatten for display
(file exists : true) read from XML file, unflatten for display
At no time when the file exists (true case) is the XML file updated...

Change e-mail attachment name dynamic in Broadcaster

Hi,
I want to send an e-mail to multiple recipient by the setting "e-mail bursting" in broadcaster. Each e-mail has an attachment (pdf-document).
Is it possible, to change the name of the attachment dynamic, when sending the mail to the different recipients (example:
recipient 1: recipient1.pdf,
recipient 2: recipient2.pdf,
and so on)
I tried a solution with text variables, but it didn't work.

thanks for your fast answer. But my problem is to change the attachment name of the e-mail, not to schedule the e-mail.
So, is there no possibility to control the process which creates the attachment name?

How do I invoke an ActionListener on a page when the page initially loads?
Page 1: A user clicks on a h:commandButton and is navigated to Page 2.
Page 2: When the page loads and goes through RESTORE_VIEW, APPLY_REQUESTS and RENDER_RESPONSE, I need to call an ActionListener in the managed bean for Page 2.
However, if the user comes in from any other page than Page 1, the ActionListener cannot be invoked intially when the page loads. The user has a choice to click on the h:commandButton on Page2 to invoke the ActionListener.
What is an example of invoking a method with the ActionListener signature in Java code?
Where would I put the code to invoke the ActionListener, in a beforePhase or afterPhase, constructor?

You select the printer properties and set the appropriate page size (I think there is a place to set it in PDF Maker too, but not sure). In the printer, this is equivalent to putting the proper paper in the printer.

Video only enabled when call is initiated from one direction across SIP Trunk

wonder If anyone can shed some light on this.
I have an issue between two cucm clusters, tied together with a SIP trunk.
If we dial from Australia to the US there is two way video and audio. If the US calls Australia, there is only audio. I have run a test call from the US through VLT and have found the following SDP's (see below). When The US make a video enabled call to australia the message "Video is not available, Remote party has video off" on the US phone screen.
Both clusters have the SIP trunk set up with the same codec settings and video bandwidth between reqions and locations. the SIP trunk is configured pretty much stock standard and identical at both ends, yet the SDP seem to want to negotiate different Video Parameters (again see SDP's below). CUCM in australia is 10.61.2.82.
what other settings can I check to get video to work when calls get initiated from either direction,...................
both phones are SIP 8941's, again audio is no problem in both directions.

Hi John,
Delta Initialization sends all the historical data requested on the "selection screen" of the infopackage.
After the initialization, you can do the Delta loads for the same selection. After the first historical load,
delta loads bring in only the changes.
This is what happens internally.
With delta initialization, the system is preparing for an initial full load and later only the changes.
If your delta initialization failed. You can delete the initialization. In your infopackage, on the top left hand
corner, you will find Scheduler. Drop down the menu for Scheduler, Double click on "Initialization Options for
source system". Select your previous delta initialization and delete it. The delete button is the trash can at the bottom left hand corner.
This will delete your previous delta initialization. You can now initialize your delta again.

One of my client upgraded to 8.5 SU3 and getting following every night when Backup is initiated.

I checked the follwoing bug:
CSCtn93085 - UCCX: sev 2 alarms generated in SysLog during normal backup
It says the bug is fixed in 8.5 SU3 but my customer just upgraded to SU3 and still getting these alerts. It happens only during the backup and everything comes up working fine next morning.

This issue is caused by Cisco bug CSCtn93085 which is affecting the version you are on, though it is only cosmetic. Here are the details of the bug:
UCCX: sev 2 alarms generated in SysLog during normal backups
Symptom:
During a backup of UCCX, the LDAP Monitor Service is temporarily stopped. This is normal behavior,
but a severity 2 alarm is being generated in the SysLog. The alarm makes it appear that the service
stopped unexpectedly or crashed.
Conditions:
Workaround:
Ignore alarms regarding the LDAP Monitor Service that appear during the timeframe of a UCCX backup.

Can the index be updated dynamically when library is pointing to a server

I need you to find out if the index can be updated dynamically when the library is pointing to a server folder on a network XRaid?
If so what are the steps to do this.
If not is there a work around?

It is possible to set up a "hot folder" that works with Aperture... the hot folder is an Automator script that you run. Ordinarily this is used for tethered shooting but you could use it like this... and then move the photos from the project bound to the "hot folder."
So something like this:
