Attach Invoice to CRM Workflow Task

Hi All,
My requirement is to attach invoice as an hyperlink to the userdecision step. The Object Type is VBRK, Which is non-exisiting in CRM. I am working on SAP 4.7 version.
I have the invoice number attached to the Activity in CRM. Are there any exisint FMs for attaching the Business Object by making an RFC call. Searching for want of solution to this.
Thanks.

U can try following thing ,
Create a container of your  BOR type for in the decision task .
Bind workflow BOR container to Task BOR container .Try executing your workflow
I am not sure weather this will work or not but you can have a trybecause in pure ECC it works.

  • Workflow Tasks NOT expiring!

    Hi guys,
    I've bumped lately with an issue building a workflow on SP2010, as you mostly already have figured out from the title, workflow tasks are NOT expiring.
    I've tried to take this on my own, but no more as I have to move on. Here's the details;
    -a custom workflow (attached to a custom list) that has start custom task as its first action.
    -due date for custom task is set in "select task process participants", Due Date for Task Process. and is set to run parallel (I have one participant for the task).
    -the custom task have only the "behavior of a single task" configured, all task workflow steps are there.
    When a Task is Pending fires well, and it ends with Pause for 2 minutes > then send email. then task due date reaches but
    When a Task Expires never kicks! tasks simply stays at status "Not Started"
    when I check the workflow history, it shows the last log "pausing completed", but I suspect the main issue is with the task processor, task isn't expiring and im not sure where to look.
    timer job service is working, I've checked timer jobs (workflow auto cleanup, workflow failover and bulk workflow task processing) and they're all running in timely fashion now.
    any thoughts?
    thanks

  • Reading data in the attachment of a CRM Order

    Hi,
       I have a requirement to read the data in a PDF that is attached to a CRM Order. The Order in my case is a Task Order. Please let me know if there are any function modules or methods that can be used to retrive the data in the attachment.
    Thanks
    Sheena.

    You can achieve it by using XSLT mapping.
    You can fetch values from either header part or body part.
    Some XSLT resources:
    xpath functions in xslt mapping
    Design time Value-mappings in XSLT
    File to Multiple IDocs (XSLT Mapping)

  • MSS Approval Report Links to Busines Workflow Task in UWL

    Hello All,
    I have a scenario below that I'm hoping you can help.
    I copied the standard business workflow task "TS31000007: CATS Approval by Supervisor" to create our own task (general task) and link the 'CatManagerApprove' application and 'sap.com/msscatapproval' package to this task in the Workflow Visualization Configuration.
    We then assigned this new task to the time data entry profile for the portal.  Once, employee released the working time, the task is created and send to the Universal Worklist.
    The manager can then access the UWL and open this approve time workflow task. This task is open to the MSS Approval Report (similar to what appear under the MSS > Tasks > Approve Time by Manager).
    However, I have copied the Approve Time by Manager to our own and changed some of the  order of the column and header text and assigned to the MSS role.
    I would like to have this CATS approval task open to the same approval report view/layout as in the MSS Approval Report.
    I've tried to change the layout (column order) through portal contents of the standard MSS Approval Report because I thought it was reading from there, but it's not.
    Does anyone know how this can be done or where to point to the MSS Approval Report on the portal.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Tam

    Hi Karri,
    We were able to use the launch iview task to launch our specific iview but I cannot seem to get it to recognize the workitem. In other words, when I click on the task in the UWL, my approve working time iview appears but it does not have the data that is from the workflow task item. Attached is the XML code that I used:
    <ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.TS93000001.SAP_ECC_Financials" connector="WebFlowConnector" defaultView="DefaultView" defaultAction="launchIView" executionMode="default">
          <ItemTypeCriteria systemId="SAP_ECC_Financials" externalType="TS93000001" connector="WebFlowConnector"/>
          <Actions>
            <Action name="launchIView" groupAction="" handler="IViewLauncher" returnToDetailViewAllowed="yes" launchInNewWindow="yes" launchNewWindowFeatures="resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes,status=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,directories=no">
              <Properties>
                <Property name="newWindowFeatures" value="resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes,status=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,directories=no"/>
                <Property name="page" value="pcd:portal_content/net.saccounty.SacCounty/net.saccounty.approve_ts_data"/>
                <Property name="openInNewWindow" value="yes"/>
                <Property name="display_order_priority" value="5"/>
                <Property name="workitemId" value="${item.externalId}"/>
              </Properties>
              <Descriptions default=""/>
            </Action>
          </Actions>
        </ItemType>
    I thought the line <Property name="workitemId" value="${item.externalId}"/> would pick up the work item ID, but it is not working. Any suggestions?
    TS93000001 is our task. approve_ts_data is our iview. It opens in a new window correctly and goes to the correct iview, just is not the actual task data.
    Thank you,
    Mark.

  • Object visualization to open attachment link in UWL decision task workitems

    We are using Object Visualization (in t-code SWFVISU) to open an I-view when you click the attachment link in decision task workitems.  I sort of have this working.  My issue is that I need to pass parameters to the I-view.  I'm not sure how to do that.  I've seen some documentation on dynamic parms in SWFVISU (DYNPARM) but I don't see that option (maybe we are on an older version).  Maybe we can via XML files?  I've done Task visualization and edited xml files but I'm not sure if we can do similar code for object visualization.  Does anyone know how to do this?   Have any samples/documentation?

  • Oracle human workflow task services have no support for SAML2.0 in 11.1.1.5

    When I have checked the SAML binding version of Oracle human workflow task service WSDL (TaskQueryService2?ORAWSDL), it has a SAML 1.0 policy attached to it in the soap header?
    Does SOA Suite 11.1.1.5.0 workflow tasking services support SAML2.0 policy ?
    I have tried applying SAML2.0 policy from OSB on the Business service calling TaskQuerySerivice2, it does not accept it. As the SAML version of wsdl is embedded with SAML1.0 policy, business service
    did not run?
    As this Tasking services come as part of standard SOA Suite install, is there any work around to update the WSDL to change the policy to SAML 2.0?
    Thanks

    Hi Experts,
    If incase anyone has encountered this issue. Please can you advice for the same.
    I need to get this done on urgent basis.
    I am able to deploy the process successfully from JDEV. Its throwing issue only when I manually deploy the WAR file in WL Console.
    Its getting deployed successfully, but unable to view task form from BPM Worklist.

  • Project link in workflow task in PS 2013

    Hi Folks,
    I just created new WF using SPD and every thing goes fine.
    I just wondering, when approver receives a tasks to take an action how would he/she know what project needs approval, except for the name. Meaning how can the user access details of project  before approving it?
    Following are workflows task and how I can get a link to that particular project for which the task has been generated.
    Thanks, Kashif

    I think that no possible with task text description, imho.
    Maybe you can used own html for preview workitem - on workflow step goto Preview workitem and press Demo func modules. Select SWL0_PREVIEW_DEMO_HTML, for example. Now you can copyied this FM into own Z* and place static URL into FM body.
    If URL must be dynamic - try create URL like SOFM object (FM SO_OBJECT_CREATE) and attach this BO instance to your workitem using SAP_WAPI_ATTACHMENT_ADD. This procedure can be placed in backround step of workflow.

  • Calling workflow tasks in program

    Hi,
    I want to know how to call a workflow task in a ABAP program. This task is linked to a customised method.
    Thanks
    Ananth

    Hi Ananth
    You have two options to trigger a workflow task
    1> Attach a Business object and a particualr event in the
       triggering event of your task.
       Then in your ABAP pgm use FM SWE_EVENT_CREATE to raise
       the event for the Business object and the event which
       you attach in the task as trigerring event
    2> Else , you can make use of SWW_WI_START function module and pass pass parameter ( it will be the name of your workflow task , The workitem Type , creator etc .)
    Thanks

  • Need to include invoice note in workflow email notification

    Hi,
    I need to include the notes entered by user in invoice notes tab while parking the invoice
    when the workflow is triggered , workitem is created for the purchase personnel and the email notification for his workitem should contain the text written by the finance person in notes tab of the invoice while parking the document
    I  found out the table where the name of this text for the invoice is stored. Its STXH. The text name is invoice number and fiscal year
    I  created workflow element invoicetext and concatenated invoice number and fiscal year in it and passed it to the task of the workitem.
    I put the following statement in the description of the workitem as per the entries in table STXH.
    /: INCLUDE &INVOICENOTE& OBJECT RBKP ID 0001
    but the text is not showingup in the description of the task when the workflow is instantiated. I also checked the funcion module READ_TEXT, all parameters are correct.
    Could you please advice me what could be the problem ?
    thanks
    R

    Hello Rita,
    Prior to the Mail step, use an activity step in workflow by calling a method.. in that method use READ_TEXT and get the required value into a container element and pass it back to Workflow, then you will be able to use INCLUDE to add that container element to your body of the mail.
    Try the above process and if not we can look for other options.
    Thanks,
    Sudhir.

  • How to attach event to custome workflow object ?

    Hi Guys,
    Could someone help me on how to raise event while creating custom workflow object.We can attach event to object in transaction swe2 . I would like to know how to create that event. Could some send sample custom workflow object with events.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Cheers,
    Garrick.

    Here's an example  using Business object BUS2080  Service notification
    I delegated ZBUS2080 to BUS2080 (service notification).  Added 2 Events REASSIGNED and MODIFIED.
    Use transaction SWO1 for manipulating business objects.
    The User performs an action on a service notification  (IW52) say PUT IN SERVICE AGAIN.
    When the user puts the service notification in service again the event triggered will start a (user defined) workflow which makes a call to a method in the business object ZBUS2080 which launches a batch job.
    This batch job creates our user event REASSIGNED which in turn calls a new workflow to be executed.
    This workflow performs the action I want -- in this case to re-assign the service notification to a new person, send an email and escalate the deadlines
    Code samples are shown below.
    So here's how it works.
    First you need to set up some entries with table SWE2. I've assumed you've already defined the events to the Business object(s) you want to use.
    In SWE2 define entries for BUS2080 (or ZBUS2080) For Events INPROCESSAGAIN and (our event) REASSIGNED.
    IN SWE2 define the receiver call as a FUNCTION MODULE
    For the receiver function modules  for the SAP event (INPROCESSAGAIN) define the receiver module as SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT
    For the event REASSIGNED define the receiver module as SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF.
    I have no idea whatwhat the difference is between the two but the process works when it's done like this.
    Ensure the linkage Activated box is clicked in both cases.
    Put your workflow numbers in the RECEIVER TYPE in SWE2 table.
    In the first workflow when the user puts the service notification in service ensure your workflow starts a batch job which raises another event
    Note : You need to instantiate the object (I.e supply the key) to trigger the event correctly. The key is obtained from the WF and will be in the container anyway.
    You can do this by adding this type of function module into the method of the business object you want to execute during the first workflow. The code here creates a batch job which submits the EVENT creating program.
    function z_create_event_for_cs.

    You CAN use Objects (OO ABAP) but if you are fairly new to this sort of stuff just stick with standard BOR (Business objects) to parctice on until you've got the hang of the process.
    It's actually a lot simpler than most people realize --which is why WF consultants get paid decently !!!!.

  • CRM Workflow: Tutorial

    Hi All,
    I am new to CRM workflow. If anybody implemented workflow in CRM or having some document/tutorial relevant to the same, please forward it to me!.
    e-mail: [email protected]
    Any help will be highly appreciated(points)..
    Thanks in advance, Sudeep..

    HI
    Sending A email via Work flow
    You can trigger an action (Sending an email) on Condition (Status change) mentioning the processing time(immediately, later on),Processing types.
    Assign this action profile to Transation type Service Request which has the Action Definition, emailing is done through smartforms.
    ACTIONS:
    Actions are used to automate your processes. For Eg:
    1. You want the status to set to completed, when the contract validity gets over
    2. On start of every month an order should get generated from a contract
    3. Send an e-mail whenever the SLA's are breached
    etc.
    WIth every action you can have conditions attached. As in my first example, the condition will be contract validity is completed etc.
    For the customization required for the same u an refer CR100 or help.sap.com
    Action are defined to let some activity to take place with out any manual interaction. like account Manager has pproved a Campaign Budget and the Same mail has to be sent to the Campaign Manager informing about the same.
    Or some thing like I have a sales order saved with out any errors and action defined will trigger the Print of the Order.
    You can trigger followup activities and workflows also.
    Processing Actions
    1)Define an Action profile and assign it to a Transaction type.
    2)For action a Schedule condition,Start condition should be fulfilled and Processing types(Smartforms,Workflows, Methods(BADI) are used to carryout the objective.

  • Cannot find a direct link to a workflow task to automatically be in "Edit Item" mode to complete a task

    Hi all. I'm looking for a way to create a link that brings the user into "Edit Item" so they will not need to click on "Edit Item". Once in "Edit Item" I look at the URL and it looks like this...Which is usable but I cannot
    find it!
    https://Sitename.sharepoint.com/sites/Dev/EOS/_layouts/15/start.aspx#/Lists/Workflow%20Tasks/EditForm.aspx?ID=295
    Sooooo I know the item I am trying to edit is ID=295. But when I reference the variable named ID, it is an entirely different number.
    See screen shots. I have a Workflow Tasks "Task" created and this is where I see the ID.
    Shot #1 - Where I Modify this View to show fields in the Workflow Tasks List
    Shot #2 (not uploaded) - Fields in Workflow Tasks; There is no ID field!!
    Shot #3 - My Workflow Tasks list
    Any thoughts?
    thanks!

    Only at a certain size, any higher your directed to view the case in the admin which has the file.
    As a not I say often to people about workflows etc - These emails are as their named - Notifications. They are not intended to be the means you run an online business and just emails is something for a BC site not to rely on. They have limited information and scope and everything and more is within the admin and the depths of the CRM in a browser that can run dynamic and rich content information.

  • Workflow task list is missing or damaged. SharePoint 2010

    SharePOint 2010 Enterprise
    Customer created workflows for the annual review of our QPC Emergency Plan.
    The document library  shows that there is a EP_Review workflow “In Progress” for each section.   However if you click into the “In Progress” link to see the actual progress of the workflow it shows no Visio diagram, it’s just a blank white
    space (not even an error message) and under the Tasks section it gives the message:
      "The workflow task list is missing or damaged.  Please contact your administrator for more information"
    I looked in the Task List and there are no tasks showing, which normally does show when we kick off a workflow.
    I ran a report on the EP_Review workflow for Cancellations and Error messages and the system comes back with the following error message:  "Report contains no Data"
    Log says:

    Any Ideas how I can figure out how to resolve this?
    Thanks for any input

    Hi mikeatquestar,
    it seems you may need to check if should the task able to create at your environement,
    you may try this at your development environment first:
    Saved a task list as a template from a working site collection and moved the template to the problem site collection. Used this template to create a new list, and associated this list to the Workflows task list.

  • Customer Invoice  in CRM to Vendor invoice in ECC.

    HI ,
    I have question we have in our business scenario,  customer performs service activity say repairing a Lap top, customer uses his own service person (labor)  to perform that  repair work for that  Lap top  and raises invoice on company .
    Here customer acts as Business partner to company in CRM .(Sold to Party)
    Here my question is how this customer invoice replicates in ECC as Vendor invoice.
    Is it possible to replicate Customer invoice in CRM to vendor invoice in ECC ?
    We need this as vendor invoice in ECC , so that finance person can pay him as Account payable in ECC.
    Is there any customization required for this to post as vendor invoice in ECC.
    I request you to help me in this regard. Many thanks in advance.
    Kind Regards,
    Sankar Reddy

    Hi Ritesh,
    this funbctionality is standard behaviour of ERP.
    You can only see the relevant upper nodes in the sales order.
    To see more, you've to start another transaction VDH2N; here you see the whole hierarchy.
    Kind regards
    Werner
