Attachments get duplicated across Task Assigments

Hi There,
I am seeing some strange behaviour in Workspace.
I have a process with a series of Assign Tasks which allow attachments.
In the First in workspace, I attach one item.
When I Complete the Task, the next Task Assignment in Workspace shows the attachment twice
When I Complete that Task, the next Task assignment in Workspace shows the attachment four times...
And so on ...
I am using a List variable in the attachment Input list, and output list at each Task Assign step. When I record and playback the process, I see that it is growing exponentially.
I am using LC ES2 SP2...... Is this a bug?? Does anybody else see this?

Hi
This is a known issue and has a workaround.
Where you access your "list of document" variable via XPath, append [1] to the end of the expression.
Example:
In Workbench, navigate to the Attachments tab of the User service.
In the Output Attachments section, make sure that the dropdown is set to XPath expression not variable.
Select your variable of type list of document (mine is myAttachments) and append [1] to it.
It should now appear as /process_data/myAttachments[1].
Make sure you use this same notation on each User service step.

Attachments Being Duplicated in Outgoing Messages

Friend of mine is using Mail on a Tiger (10.4.11) machine with Verizon DSL (POP). When she sends attachments, to some people they're duplicated, others they're not. She test sent me one to my Earthlink account (which I checked with Webmail) and the attachment was duplicated.
Also, some of her Word attachments get corrupted. Should she send them as .zip files instead of .doc files?

On the webmail, there were two attachments when she only sent one. They were both Testimonials.doc. The first one came across as garbage, the second one was fine (opened with Open Office since I don't have Word).
She mostly deals with Word and PDF documents (things that don't need editing go as PDFs) and has these problems.
I'll check about the "Windows friendly" setting.

Where does the Attachments gets stored.

Hi All,
We are adding attachments to a Human Task ADF TaskDetails page.
When opening the attachments we are getting an error.
Reason : The HOST_NAME is getting changed to the managed server name while opening the attachment.
Can someone tell me where does these attachments gets stored.Can i query and check which host_name is used while storing it , if it is using the database for it.
Please help me to debug this issue.

fnd_documents_tl
fnd_lobs
fnd_documents_short_text
fnd_attached_documents has a column called entity_id which contains the po_header_id or po_line_id depending on where the document is attached.Those tables are already mentioned in the link referenced above --> Where are attachments stored in oracle apps

It seems to happen with songs that were purchased before synchronizing the new iPhone
I will tell you how I fixed it.
Note: I have iTunes in spanish so I will try to translate and figure out the commands that appear on ITunes in english. I will put my translations into brackets. English is not my native language. I will do my best.
The workaround is:
1.- Dragg no working songs from iTunes to a folder on the hard disk. (Only for backup purposes)
2.- Deleted those songs from iTunes library.
3.- On the left panel in ITunes click on "Purchased" under the STORE option. All your purchased songs will appear on the right panel
4.- At the bottom and right there is the option : "Download Previous Purchases". Click there.
5.- Click on the option "Are not in my Library" (top right)
6.- The songs you deleted from iTunes will appear.
7.- Downloaded them again. (You have the option to download at the bottom right)
8.- Syncronize your iPhone and that's all.

How to get current viewed task

For an external synchronization requirement I need to maintain or be able to retrieve the current viewed task by a user. I'm hopeful that this has been solved before. Does anyone have any insight there? I'm considering setting up a table to maintain the current viewed taskid for the user, but even that is proving challenging with my lack of ADF exposure. I see the 'TaskSelectedEvent' in the wizard generated task form I'm using but I'm not sure how I might leverage that.
Any help is appreciated.

Yes. there is no API to get the current task.
Try this:
WDProtocolAdapter.getProtocolAdapter().getRequestObject().getParameter("wi_id");
But i still say a bit confused with your requirement.
The task id gets created only upon creation of a task. And you want this current task id in the BPM Process context? How is it possible unless and until some action takes place and the data is passed from WDJ to BPM Context?
Please clear my doubt.

Records are getting duplicated on presing enter key in table control

I am using table control in module pool program. The issue is records are getting duplicated on press of enter key.
I cannot use sy-ucomm enter and do some validation thing in my code. As the record should get update in int_tab(internal table). Otherwise ZSTR_TAB(table control)will be blank after pressing enter key.
I have gone through all the previous threads on this. Have implemented sol provided in one of threads. Now records are not getting duplicated but the next line is getting disabled. The code to avoid duplication is :

Hi,
Have you written any code in when Others of case...Endcase ?
If Yes then checkout if there is anything wrong over there, debug and check.
If not then write delete adgecent duplicates from Int_tab comparing key fields.
Also check in PBO, if you have written any query that selects data from particular table and appending the internal table irrespective of entry is already exist. So you should write select query in the if...Endif block as below,
If int_tab[] is not initial.
select * from ZSTR_TAB
into table int_tab
where .........
endif.
If above is not the case then debug and check where exactly entries are getting duplicated so that I can have idea what exactly is happening.

Well, you can go into setting>mail, contacts, calendars>add new account or through iTunes you can plug your phone into your computer, open iTunes, select your device, then select info. I hope this helps. Au revoir!

Workflow API: adding and accessing file Attachments to a Human Task

Hi there,
I am using the Workflow Services Java API (11.1.1) for SOA Suite to access and manipulate human tasks. I would like to be able to access and add file attachments to existing human tasks. I am using the methods provided in the AttachmentType interface.
When adding an attachment, the problem I am running into is that an attachment does created and associated with the task, however it is empty and has no content. I have attempted both setting the input stream of the attachment, as well as the content string and in each case have had no success.
I have successfully added and accessed an attachment using the worklist application, however when trying to access the content of this attachment through code I receive an object with mostly null/0 values throughout, apart from the attachment name.
As the API's are not overly rich in documentation I may well be using them incorrectly. I would really appreciate any help/suggestions/alternatives in dealing with BPEL task attachments.

Could not get stream for task attachment

When uploading Document and Trying to view documents in Worklits we get the following error:

This seem to have been a bug on previous versions of Oracle BPM but we're receiving it on 11.1.1.7
Any idea what might be causing this?

Complete restart of the environment solved issue

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re)install Firefox.

Data getting duplicated on B2B

We are having a strnage issue of data getting duplicated on B2B, when a inbound transaction is received by TP for 2 of the Vendors we are seeing that the data is getting duplicated but the same Document Defination is being used by a 3rd trading partner too, but for that 3rd partner we are not seeing any duplicate, also for rest of the 2 Trading partners duplicate happen for couple of days and strangley one day their will be no duplicates. I have verified the WEb logs there is no duplicate entries at Web tier, so data being sent twice by TP is ruled out, Any inputs on the issue will be really helpful. I have SEV 1 SR open for the issue even oracle and working with them on the same.

Can you provide few more details -
1. Exact version and patch level of your B2B?
2. When you say duplicate then does it mean that you are seeing two business message report for same message or You see only one report at B2B and middleware is receiving the message twice?
3. Which document and exchange protocols are you using?
There were few known bugs related to duplicate message appearance so it's good that you have logged a SR in parallel with support. You might be hitting one of the known bugs. Can you also let me know the SR number please?

Importing Word 2007 documents: linked images getting duplicated!

If I import a Word 2007 document (.docx) to a page in
Dreamweaver CS4, either by File-> import or drag and drop,
images (in the /web_images folder) for which I have already
inserted hyperlinks in the Word document, are getting duplicated
and the link in the Dreamweaver page now points to the new,
duplicate, image, not the original. For example, an image, say
bike.jpg gets copied to bike_000.jpg and the web page link points
to /web_images/bike000.jpg.
This is not only clumsy, it is asking for trouble if for any
reason an image needs to be updated or whatever somewhere down the
road.
I have tried importing with both full and just basic
formatting, but the result is the same. I haven't found anything in
Dreamweaver preferences about this.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the clarification.
Okay, so really what you are doing is identical to clicking File > Import > Word Document, because all you are doing by choosing PDF is pre-selecting PDF as the listed file types. Once you change it to point to Word documents it's no different.
