Audio/Video Not Synchro when capturing

Hi,
I'm having an audio/video synchronization problem when capturing HDV material onto IMovie. There is probably a 1/2 sec delay. How can I resolve this problem?
First thing iMOVIE says: Cpsturing HD at 3/4 SPEED. Should I worry about this?
I have updated my Imovie and camcorder settings according to my sony camcorder instructions. Camcorder: SONY HVR A1E.
Your thoughts?

First, make sure your camera is exporting with 16 bit sound and not 12 bit.

Audio/Video not matching when converting with Videora...

I have some TV shows already on my computer that I've put through Videora to try and get on my ipod...but the audio and video is not matching up. I have checked and double checked and am defineltly using the mpeg4 format and not the H ones...this is driving me crazy...can anyone please help?!? the itunes doesnt play the sound but when its on the ipod it plays back fine till the last 20 mins or so.

It's exactly as I stated. Whenever I try to drag these kinds of loops (ESX24 / software instrument loops? the ones marked in green with the white music note next to them) from the loop browser into the timeline a message comes up saying Audio Not Found for that loop. And a new track is created automatically when loops are dragged into the timeline, so I'm not creating some other random / synth instrument track so I'm not sure what the deal is... But perhaps I'll try creating a software instrument track first and then drag the loop into that track and see what happens - maybe there's something with the default settings that automatically creates audio tracks whenever loops are imported?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Video Not showing in Capture screen, w/ a few other questions.

Ok, so i've used Final Cut Pro HD for awhile. and have never experienced this problem. I recently just purchased a MacBook Pro for editing on the road. And i had to throw a coverage video together really qucikly. So i captured all the video onto my macbook with out the video showing up in the capture window. I've tried nearly everything including audio/video set ups based on my camera and capture method. So when i exported a small web clip you could see the clips, or when playing them in FCP HD you could see the footage. When i made the self-contained version i was not able to see the footage in the clip, and i also couldnt see it when i tried to watch the clips seperately. I tried updates and other methods to try and fix this problem. So basically i need help with figuring out how to get the video importing to show up in the Capture window. As well as how do i get the clips to show up in quick time when i'm trying to watch them outside of FCP! Any help is appreciated thank you!

Hi, I’m also having the same kind problem with my FCP Log and Capture widow
I own a Dual 2 GHz Power Mac G5.
I’m using Final Cut Pro HD v4.5.
My input is a Panasonic DV Deck using FireWire 400.
I have recently upgraded to the new Operating System, Mac OS 10.4 (10.4.9) from 10.3.9, Before I upgraded it worked fine but now all I can see is FCP default color bars. FCP “DOES” seem to see the deck because I can make the deck Play, Rewind, Pause, etc. it also knows the time on the tape, But no sound and no video just the color bars.
I have my “audio/video settings” set at “DV NTSC 48 kHz” that is what have always used and I believe is the correct setting.
I believe the problem has some thing to do with the new Operating System but I don't know how to fix it.
I also read some thing that made it sound like it could be some thing rong with Qmaster. any help would be appreciated

Audio/Video not synched

Would someone please help me. For some reason, my audio and video are not synchronizing when I capture. Nothing has changed on my video camera as far as audio settings. I've used the exact setup previously with no problems. I trashed my plists and that wasn't helpful.
I'd be grateful for any other suggestion that might solve this issue.

Select your clip in browser and use the contextual menu to get item settings. You fing the audio bit depth here.
Be sure that your camera audio setting is set to 16 bit 48 kHz AND matches the sequence audio settings in FCE.

My apperture come up with audio/video(adjustments disabled) when I try to edit any image with either photoshop or nik software, can anyone help.

When i try to work on any file in either PS or nik software the following thing happen

2) I reprocess and then then try to edit file in PS or NIK and get the following

I read a group discussion which suggested repairing the library (middle Button) and rebout but the results were the same. Can someone please help, I am not that techie (over 65) so could I ask that any suggestion are very clear and assume that I know very little. Regards Mark

I had my previous note all organised with screen grabs of the three messages I wwas talking about but the have not appeared in my post!
1) reprosses message asking to reprosses file
2)audio/video(adjustments disabled) this showed up in the adjustemnt window.
3editing error sayinh "this image cannot be rendered for editing because aperture does not support the image format"

Audio/video not syncing on a PC with i-tunes movies.

Recently started having a problem with the audio and video of my itunes movies on my PC. Had no problem for the longest time, years. I get up to 3 seconds gap, video ahead of audio on every movie I play. If I pause for a few seconds, the audio/video sync but shortly after, start to separate again. I reinstalled i-tunes, reinstalled my movies one at a time from the cloud. If helpful, for some unknown reason, all my movies recently were deleted from the hard drive memory but were still available from the cloud. Don't seem to have the issue when playing movies on my i-touch. Audio on the computer while playing a movie seems to have pops or quick gaps when the a/v is drifting apart. These are memory resident movies not played from cloud storage.

In latest Mozilla version 27 audio is not stop when onclick method?

Here we developing video and audio interaction application in that user wants to stop audio video when user hits onclick button,its stoping all video and audio but only one audio is not stopping in firefox version 27 only...its working fine in all browsers except mozilla version 27 only.Below version of mozilla like 26,25,24 its working good.

Do you notice any errors in the Browser Console related to this function (Ctrl+Shift+j)?

Audio jack not working when cover closed and hdmi connected

I have an external monitor connected via the hdmi port. My external monitor does not have built in speakers. I connect an external speaker via the headphone jack. I can play audio fine if the notebook cover is open. As soon as I close the notebook cover, the audio stops. How can I get the audio to still be sent to my external speakers with the cover closed?
I have my power settings set to "Do Nothing" when lid is closed. I don't know what else to try?

What is the status of the TV when the lid is closed? Does the image remain as it should?
Try installing this audio driver as it was released after the launch of Windows 8.
What program is playing the audio? For example, a music player or movie program? Is there no audio in any program when this happens?

Audio devices not working when upgraded to windows 7

Dear Community members and Lenovo...
After uggrading my Lenovo N100 0768 54A from Windows Vista Home premium to Windows 7 Home premium, As some of our friends put up here, audio is not functioning. The mixer shows balancing in sound, the device driver shows, working, but the audio problem is still not resolved even after 3 weeks. I am really fedup with the audio driver installation over three weeks. The drivers tried, are both from lenovo site and realtek site. Still I could not solve the problem.
When upgarded from Win-XP to Windows Vista, realtek was not functioning, through our forum some of our friends suggested to install soundmax driver which was working well then. Now, Audio is the only problem. could Lenovo solve my problem. Some more community members could please help me out.

While trying to help you, I was looking along the same lines as you were (I assume).
I did a search by the IDT 92HD73E audio codec and all I could find were drivers for system boards with Intel processors such as the driver you tried unsuccessfully.
I have finally found a W8.1 driver for that codec from a desktop PC with an AMD processor and chipset.

Audio file not playing when previewed or pulised on only one slide

I have one slide that the audio will not play unless the you click on the play button in preview or when published. All other slide audios are working fine and will play automtically when the next button is clicked on the previous slide. I have tried changing the name of the audio file, deleting the sled and the fiel and staring over etc. the audio file were created in another program and then brought into Captivate but thia has not been a problem with any other production up to this point. Any suggestions?

Xvidcap: Audio/Video not syncing!

Big issue, it syncs fine for 20~ seconds then it starts eventually desyncing with the sound and after a few minutes it's waaaaaaay off.
This is with ffmpeg recording, tried other ones with the same effect... Any ideas?
Google couldn't help me.

Possible leads:
1.) There's some talk on the SourceForge xvidcap FAQ about the RPMs having a sync patch which is only in SVN normally... this is likely old, though... maybe ask the devs?
2.) Are there any cli options for xvidcap? I know there's a config file, too.
3.) Dynamic audio/video desync means either it's trying to record at the wrong framerate or audio frequency, or your player's bad, or the PC's too slow. Try another (fast) PC with another player, try tuning the options (use Google to help). You might (definitely possible, depends on whether you can find the right values) also be able to edit the finished video to change the FPS / audio frequency - AviDemux might be able to do it. Probably not a long-term solution, though.

Audio and video not synchronized when exporting from Premiere Pro CS6

We have made a project in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 that´s intended to be exported to DVD (it´s a weeding). We are working with NTSC DV Widescreen. The exporting is 720x480
We have 2 audio lines activated and sounding on this project.
The question is:
When exporting the entire video (the entire timeline sequece) using Adobe Media Encoder to formats like H.264 (NTSC DV Widescreen)... Quick Tile Movie or AVI without compression (we tested these formats) the 2 audio channels get unsynchronized from the video. The same problem occurs if we get a direct link of the timeline from Premiere to Encore.
And Inside Premiere Preview audio is preety correct.
Does anyone here are getting such problem?
Also..can I ask another question (as I´m not expert on video production)?. What´s the best format for our purpose? Export a video to be played to DVD (we record weedings, birthdays..social events). No problem the time to export. We´d like the best quality for output.

We have 4 cameras here. 1 is Sony model HD1000 (since it works with Mini-DV cassete we need to capture the image via Firewire). 2 cameras are Sony HD2000 (it generates *.MPEG files if I remember well). And 1 camera is a Panasonic AG-DVC7 (it generates *.MTS files)
We start a new project using the Standard NTSC Widescreen 48Khz format. When we drag to the timeline for example the MTS file...Premiere ask us if we want to Keep and Change timeline to suit the file specification. Anyway we always have 1 or 2 camera files that has a yellow line over timeline.
But I renders correct...no problem to edit...and we had no problem with Premiere CS5.5 :/
We are downloading the latest update of Premiere. I´ll make some test and publish here if the problem persist.
