AUDIOBOOKS TAB MESSED UP IN OS 3.0 UK ONLY

If you live in England and look in 'iTunes' on iPhone 'more' 'audiobooks' the last tab has 'featured categories' instead of just 'categories' this only appears in England as far as i know, USA and Ireland is ok,as you will see the writing doesn't fit into the tab and looks messed up,it is an error with the server in England rather than the iphone firmware,i have contacted Apple tech and made them aware of the problem... i know i'm being anal about it but it really bugs me.. has anyone else noticed this ?

Just to add some insight into my experience of this:
1. An appointment arrives in your inbox (Outlook/Exchange adds it as tentative to your calendar.)
2. You accept using Outlook (Clicking on the button displayed on the email in your inbox)
3. The meeting gets marked as "busy", but then jumps back to tentative.
I can fix this, once the appointment has gone to tentative, by selecting it in the calendar view (in Outlook) and choosing accept (I opted not to send a reply).
At a guess the issue is around the automatic insertion as tentative in your calendar, I suspect the subsequent acceptance is some kind of "in place" edit. Where as changing it from the calendar view is a direct modification and hence sync'd correctly.

When you say they are displaying in your iTunes library, are you talking about the Audiobooks section of your iTunes library and not the audiobooks section indented under the iPod in the left pane of iTunes under Devices?
Is the iPod Shuffle configured to sync audiobooks or do you manually manage the iPod's contents?

Putting an Audiobook in the "Audiobooks" Tab

Hi,
I have an mp3 audio book I imported into iTunes. It was listed as "Books & Spoken" when imported and didnt show up in the "Audiobooks" section (now below Podcasts in iTunes 7). I changed its listing to "Audiobooks" but it still does not show up in the Audiobooks tab.
How do I put this audio book into the "Audiobooks" section?
I also have this problem with Podcasts downloaded manually which dont show in the "Podcasts" tab.

Read the API. There are only a few set??? methods. I would think you would even find "icon" in the method name.

Presenter 8 - Appearance tab - messes up fonts on slides

When I try to change fonts in the Appearance tab for quiz questions and answers and apply to all, it messes up many of the questions and answers on the slides. On many of the slides, the words overlap and the questions are off the slide. It's just on some of the slides. And even though I select 'apply to all' it doesn't.

Mr Sahu, thank you for your response. After creating the quiz, I attempted to change the font and sizes. I thought I was supposed to create the quiz/presentation before I used the Appearance Tab. Maybe I misunderstood the directions.
I ended up manually changing the fonts on each page throughout the presentation, so my screenshots today are not as messed up as they were yesterday when I attempted to change fonts and sizes of fonts in the Appearance tab.
But, for instance, today if I only try to change the font to Questions to Arial using the Appearance Tab, below is what is happening. As you can see below, set the Question font and nothing else, and applied it to all quizzes (don’t I have to apply it to all quizzes for it to be applied to all slides?). Then also below is the before and after for one of the slides below. It messes with the answers and yesterday as I tried to adjust the size and font for questions and answers, some of the questions fonts ended up much bigger than what I put in the Appearance Tab and were off the top of the slide, and the answers were overlapping and really messed up throughout the quiz.

Where is my Audiobook tab?

I recently had to erase my computer and start over. Before I did this, under Library it had the headings for Music, TV Shows, movies, etc. One of them being Audiobooks.
When I put iTunes back on the computer the Audiobook tab disappeared and Books appeared in it's place but in a different color (audiobook button was in green, this one is in tan) When I click on Books there are all of the audiobooks, but when I try to sync my iPod I cannot sync books, it tells me that no books are found, I assume that the iTunes or iPod means Books as in Kindle type or electronic books not audio. SO, how do I load my audio books onto my iPod?

I just did this, I had the correct tabs and everything until a few weeks ago when I needed to restart my computer to it's factory settings. When I did that I reinstalled iTunes and then there was no Audiobook tab after I reinstalled it. I do have all of the music backed up on an EHD. I am not sure that uninstalling and reinstalling would do anything because I believe that is what caused my problem. Do you think it will be different?

- Delete all AB and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Audio Book (if present) and delete
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Audiobook tab won't show up on my iPhone music app

I recenty purchased an audiobook through iTunes on my iPhone, but after the download was complete there is no tab or category to easily find my audiobook. I have synced my iPhone with iTunes on my Mac to ensure that the metatags reflected that the "book" was listed as an audiobook. But still nothing is showing up. The only way I can play my audiobook is if I search for it by name. Has anyone else had this issue or found a work around for this?

The solution that worked for me is as follows:
1. Settings
2. iTunes & Apps
3. Tap Apple ID
4. Sign Out
5. Reboot iPhone
6. Settings
7. iTunes & Apps
8. Sign In
Audiobook Tab appears under "More" in Music App.

I can't get audiobooks to sync to my iPhone 4s running iOS 6. I can't even find the audiobooks tab in iTunes in order to enable syncing of them.

I am not sure if it is because I am blind and just can't see the audiobooks tab on my iTunes screen, but my screen reading software can't find it either. None of the audiobooks will sync. I have tried turning iTunes Match off and on and it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

To sync Audiobooks from your computer to your iOS device, we'll want to follow the basic syncing instructions outlined in this article:

Specifically, what we are looking for is the "Books" tab at the top of iTunes (grouped together with Summary, Music, etc). Audiobooks have moved to this "Books" tab.
Once on the Books tab, there are two separate sections for syncing regular digital Books and Audiobooks. Make sure that the "Sync Audiobooks" checkbox is checked and choose to either sync all or selected audiobooks. Once these changes are applied, the Audiobooks will be transferred to your device for your enjoyment!

Menu tabs disappear completely after login and appears if only i press on item node at hire level

I'm using a Menu Model to Create a Page Hierarchy in my adf application on Jdeveloper 11.1.2.3.0
it is in three levels level 1 have 2 item nods (home - Help) displayed as buttons
                            level 2   contains 5 item nods about the managements displayed as tabs
                            level 3   is about reports displayed as list
the point I have apply security in the application using Adf security wizard and i assign roles and users and grants
all works fine but level 2 tabs disappear completely after login and appears if only i press on Home item node at run time
I create 2 users (admin) has all roles and can view all tabs in level 2 of my navigation and another user (emp) which can view one Tab page in level 2
Point 1 --the item nod are rendered according the #{securityContext.regionViewable['oracle.view.pageDefs.RentManagPageDef']}     (EL ) expression language
and other item nod render property are set as the same but in the page name definition
it works fine
_ Point 2 in my page template I set #{menuInfo.rendered} for renderd property of the command navigation item
it works fine
- point 3 I add a go link in my template to explicit perform log in log out from the app and redirect the user to the required page

the problem is in the level 2 navigation tabs which is diaper after explicit log in the app directs the user to the correct page successfully
But the tabs are not rendered till I press on home button on Level 1 navigation it appears and it appears correctly cording the logged in user validation
in another words i log in as user (admin) i get directed to the successful log in page in the link go but level 2 tabs are invisible or not rendered at all    I click on Home button in level1 navigation the tabs
become rendered or viewable and i navigate normally
I log out as admin the level 2 tabs becomes invisible again
then I log in as (emp) i get directed to the successful log in page and level 2 tabs are still invisible or not rendered
I click on Home button in level1 navigation the only one tab the user emp authorized to it gets rendered (appears)
and its semi correct behavior because this is what I want him to see only

or there additional step to stop all the tabs disappear after login

One test to run is to print the outcome of the security evaluation (e.g. output text) to see what it returns.

There is no tab that says, manually manage video and music, only one to manage video.

The Photos tab doesn't appear there. If you are on iTunes 11 on your computer then you may want to re-enable the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar (option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), which might make it easier to navigate and my instructions may make more sense.
To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you've enabled the sidebar), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos e.g. :
If you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you haven't enabled the sidebar, then from your library click 'iPad' at the top right of the screen and you should get a series of buttons along the top of the screen, including one for Photos

No keyboard shortcuts to navigate audiobook tab

I'm trying to navigate itunes with the keyboard. I can use the tab key and arrow keys to move from tab to tab (movies, audiobooks, etc.) but I can't use the keyboard to navigate within a specific tab (i.e., audiobooks). Any help?

alt is written of many Apple keyboards on the key named option which is also falgged as ⌥.
The common shortcuts aren't option + key but cmd + key. The cmd key is also flagged as ⌘.

Audiobooks are messed up after 2.1 upgrade

So I finally decided to upgrade to 2.1. I went to the 3 audiobooks I have on the phone. Instead of the usual list of disks, I now see, for example "Part 1 of 18" for each "disk" for the audiobook. In this case the book only has 8 parts. I am now removing the audio books from my phone and re-adding them in hopes that this fixes the problem.

I removed the books from the phone, then added them again. Still having this problem. Here is an example of what I see. I have a book that has 8 parts. I joined all tracks for each CD, so I ended up with 8 parts. I called each one "title #", for example:
Devil Bones 1
Devil Bones 2
Devil Bones 3
Devil Bones 8
This is what the phone used to display in version 2.0. Now I see the following:
Part 1 of 18
1:12:34
Part 1 of 18
1:16:19
Part 1 of 18
1:10:57
Part 1 of 18
1:14:55
What the heck is going on? This is really confusing. What's with "18"? I only have 8 parts. This is happening for all the audio books I have on my phone (I have 3 books).

Firefox 25.0.1 Warn when closing multiple tabs (on) conflicts with "show windows und tabs from last time" (on); need both, but only one or the other works.

Using Firefox 25.0.1 on Windows 7 Home Premium
I've poured through support forums for Mozilla Firefox searching for a fix to my initial problem of the "Warn when closing multiple tabs" pop up not popping up when I have it selected.
Went through About:Config, making sure warnings for tabs und closing, und showing on quit, und quitting, etc. were all set to true, which were "possible" fixes for the issue I was having, there are like five or six things set to true for warnings/quitting/etc. No avail. They are all set to true.
Then I stumbled across one that suggested a conflict with the "Warn When Closing Multiple Tabs" und the "Show Windows und Tabs from last time".
I use both features. However, I found if I want the warning pop up for closing multiple tabs, I have to have "show homepage" or "show blank page" selected instead of "Show windows und tabs from last time" selected. (Tools>Options>General>Start Up>When Firefox Starts:) The problem with this is, yes, I get my warning pop up, BUT, I don't get my tabs from my last session.
The warning in settings (Tools>Options>Tabs>Warn Me When Closing Multiple Tabs) is checked.
To have my tabs restored from last session, I simply select it for "when firefox starts". Bam, I have my tabs that were open from the last time I quit. Und again, full circle, I don't have my warning pop up.
There were also suggestions of the warning on close for tabs is conflicting with add-ons.
However, I don't have many. Und I have yet to test them to see if they interfere. These are according to my Add Ons tab when I check it myself.

Unsure of what the "5.1.20913.0" und the "NPWLPG" plugins are, but they don't appear to me under Add Ons.

Downgrading Firefox 
Flash is notorious for causing Firefox problems. I suggest you start a new thread about that. If at all possible you should try to avoid downgrading to an unsecure & unsupported version of Firefox. it will increase risks to your system and Personal data. (There are methods of mitigating the risks, using a virtual machine or operating within a secure intranet for instance)

Try Flash with Protected Mode Off 
Worth a try as it takes minimal effort & often solves Flash Problems whilst allowing current and more secure FlashPlayer to be used. See
