Authorization to change/create orders

hi friends,
is there a way to restrict a user in creating/changing order in webui?
i found UIU_COMP , which takes component, ip plug, and window, but does this help me?
i want to restrict users in creating/editing orders, ie the components are BT115H_SLSO and BT115IT_SLSO

Hi Niraja,
As you have mentioned that you dont want the end user to edit the BT115H_SLSO and BT115IT_SLSO components.
:- Now for this too happen you can definetly use the UIU_COMP authorization object but you need to take care of each and every other component that the user is allowed to and then maintain them in the UIU_COMP auth object( this would be a ery tough job as hundreds of UI compnent are involved).
So the solutions provided by other consultants is very handy in this type of authorization scenarion, you can simply use the auth object CRM_ORD_OE and maitain the value for transaction type and in the activity just maintain 03 (search) and not 01 , 02( which is for create and change) so that the user can search the transaction but he cannot edit it.

I logged in as the professional Purchaser in to My SAP SRM browser and when I try to change a Direct material purchase order, I get the following message:
No Authorization to change Purchase Order xxxxxxxxxxx.
Here is my sequence of operations:
Logged in as Proff Purchaser, selected the process purchase order link, then selected the purchase order from the worklist and click on the change icon.
Please let me know if need to customize any settings.

In trascn PFCG,for the role of Startegic purchaser,under the Personalization tab,set the attribute BBP_WFL_SECURITY to '4'.Also,check the authorisation data for the Strategic purchaser role.

How do I change page order on a document created in Pages 5.1?

After reading some of the posts about the lack of ability to change page order in Pages 5.1, I decided to re-install Pages 09 from the DVD that came with my computer because some posts said it was a better program. After inserting the disc and responding to all the prompts it seemed to download everything but I can't find Pages 09, I only seem to have 5.1.
I will take a solution to either problem, but all I really want to do is change the order of 2 pages on a 9 page document created using 5.1.

Getting error in while changing sales order which is created using BAPI

Hi All,
   I have created the sales order using BAPI ( BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1 ) and i am successfully creating sales order using this BAPI. But while i want to change sales order iam changing Shipping Conditions in Header Data of sales order .its giving an error .can any know any thing about this.
Error mesage :    No status object is available for SDI 300082407/10    (Order Number/Item Number)
In Header i am passing these values ...
     wa_order_header_in-doc_type = vbak-auart.
    wa_order_header_in-sales_org = vbak-vkorg.
    wa_order_header_in-distr_chan = vbak-vtweg.
    wa_order_header_in-division = vbak-spart.
Do i required to pass the below values ? in Header structure ( BAPISDHEAD1 ).

Inbound Idoc Create/Change Purchase Order

Hi All,
I have to do a inbound Idoc scenario for create as well as change Purchase Order.
Which is the IDoc type for Create/Change purchase order.
I went through this form found that ORDERS05 can be used but I am not sure this can be used for both create as well change Purchase Order.
If ORDERS05 can be used then which is Process code,Function Module and Message type for both create and change Purchase order.
I also found that IDoc type PORDCR102 can be used for create Purchase order and PORDCH02 can be used for change Purchase order,but i don't want to use two Idoc types.
Please suggest.

Hi John,
For creating a IDoc for PO, whenever a PO is created/Changed, it has to be configured in Parter Profile(WE20) for a particular Partner in Outbound Paramtrs tab.
Give ORDERS05 in Message Type and select the line & go to Display.
In the screen which appears , choose tab Message Control and give the Process code
ME10 - Creation of PO
ME11 - Changes to PO & check the Change Message.
Give respective Output Message Type & Application(VF) for PO.
Create Output types for a vendor in T.Code MN04, else take help from MM Consultant.
Create a PO & save. Then make some changes in Po & again save.
Now IDoc will be created while saving the Po & IDocs will be created whenver you make changes to PO and saving it.

How to change the order of photos in iPhoto on my iPad, so I can create the slide show I want.

Here's what I did to generate a slide show with Ken Burns effect on the iPad...with the exact same slide order I created on the iMac. I have iOS 5.5 and iPhoto App on New iPad, and iPhoto 11 on iMac.
In iPhoto for the Mac, create a new Album and give it the name of your Slide Show. Drag or import the photos you want into the album. Rearrange the order of the album photos as desired. Do this by selecting Manual Sort under View/Sort Photos or simply start dragging thumbnails to the places you want them (the sort method will automatically change to Manual).
When you have the order you want, shut down iPhoto on the Mac to make sure iPhoto's database gets updated with the new photos and their order.
Restart iPhoto and go to File/Export on the top menu. Select File Export at the top left of the Export window. Set JPEG quality to Max, Size to Full Size, and File Name to Album Name and Number. Set Subfolder Format to None.
Click Export to bring up what looks like the Finder. Create an empty folder on your hard drive under Pictures and give it the name of your slide show. Click on the new folder and then click OK at the bottom right of the Finder-like window. The new folder will contain JPEG files with file names in the form, Album Name - 001.jpeg, Album Name - 002.jpeg, etc. There will also be an iPOD Photo Cache folder. Click at the top of the Name column to order files by file name. 001 will be your first slide, 002 your second, etc.
Now start up iTunes. You are going to force the Mac to sync these new photos with the iPad. Click on your iPad device in the list at the left. Now click on the Photo button at top right. Make sure the Sync Photos check box at top is checked, then select Choose Folder... from the list at right. In the Finder-like window that opens, select the folder where your slides are. Make sure that All Folders is checked, then select Open at the bottom right.
Now click Sync at bottom right. The slides will be copied to your iPad. Both the Photos app and the iPhoto app will properly handle the slide order, and the Ken Burns effect is available using the iPhoto app.
I ran across this problem in preparing a Ken Burns slide show for a wedding. Drove me nuts for a week why the order changes when syncing an iPhoto album from iMac to iPad. But this worked and gave me several options. I plan to use the digital AV adapter for iPad and show slides on a large screen TV using HDMI connection from iPad to TV. TV essentially acts as an external monitor for the iPad.

Change/Create purchase order with customer BSART via CIF

we create Purchase Orders in SCM SNP. Those POs are passed via CIF to R/3, but the Purchase orders should be created with a customer BSART.
In SCM the POs currently use the standard ATPCategories. I found an exit in CIF_PO_INBOUND where you can change BSART, but at this point there is no access to the data from APO.
Has anybody already implemented such a scenario?

I used CIF outbound user exit from APO , for filtering purchase requisions going to SAP R/3.
You are creating purchase oders in SCM APO and transferring the same to SAP R/3 / ECC through CIF.
We may have two options : Change the data before publishing to SAP R/3 from APO. This happens in APO , outbound .
Otherwise we can change the data in the PO before it is created in SAP R/3 , for this we use user exit inbound SAP R/3.
You have option of changing or enahancing purchase order data inbound in SAP R/3, before the PO is created in SAP R/3.
The enhancement is CIFPUR02.
With this enhancement, you can change purchase order data from your APO system before a purchase requisition or purchase order is created in the ERP system
The enhancement contains the following components:
EXIT_SAPLCPUR_001
You can use this enhancement to change purchasing data (purchase requisitions, purchase orders) in ERP inbound. To do this, you can change the existing transfer data or include additional customer-specific data in your own tables.
Other enhancements in the same
EXIT_SAPLMEPI_004
With this enhancement, you can change the header data of a purchase order before it is created in the ERP system.
The following data can be changed:
Document type (parameter CP_BSART)
EXIT_SAPLMEPI_007
You can use this enhancement to specify the document type of a purchase requisition or purchase order when they are created in the ERP system (parameter CP_BSART).
There are other ehancements which I have not listed.
I assume you can create an enhancemnet projects for incorporating the above enhancements in CMOD / SMOD transactions.

How to Change Song Order in User-Created Playlist

I have several playlists that I've created by just adding a bunch of songs to. I then would like to go into those playlists and change the order that the songs are listed in so that they play in that new order (they are initially listed in the same order that I added them to that playlist - i.e. the 1st song added is the 1st song in the playlist, then 2nd song aded is listed as the 2nd track, etc.), but I can't figure out an easy way to do that. I cannot drag a song up; if I want to move it up, I have to drag every song above it down (and then they get all out of order!). If I try to drag a song up, it goes to the very bottom of the playlist when I release the mouse button!
How can I change the order of songs that I've added to a playlist? There's got to be an easier way!

I already had the arrow pointing up in the track order header column, but your suggestion gave me an idea - I went up to "View" and then clicked on "Hide artwork column". That did the trick - I can now drag songs up and down in my playlists to change their order to my heart's content!

Customer pricing procedure is changed after creating order

Hi Gurus,
the issue is   we have created an order and pricing procedure is determined in the order. Now the user wants to get a new pricing procedure determined for this order. So he have changed the Customer pricing procedure in Customer master data. He assumed that new pricing procedure will be determined for the order which is already created. But it didnt happen. As per my knowledge pricing procedure canot be redetermined for already created orders. My question is
how to redetermine the pricing procedure for the order ? is there any way to get a new pricing procedure for the order in change mode?
what should we do. we need to delete the order and create a new one or is there any way to get the new pricing procudure for the order?

   basically pricing prodeure is determined by a combination of three things
       Doc pricing procedureCustomer Pricing proceduresales area .
   You can see this using transaction OVKK. So you have to consider all the three things.
In sales doc we have the option of updating the pricing. If you do that i think it will redetermine the procedure and your issue will be solved.

Create an Applescript to change focus order in browser

Hey all,
I'm curious if it is possible to create an Applescript to change the order focus within a browser.
I have a bulk of data that needs to be entered into a database online.
The focus order of the website design is not logical hence pressing tab to move from one field to the next results in confusion.
(It includes buttons in headers, footers and empty fields making this extremely frustrating as I have to continuously use the mouse)
Google search has not really given me any results, so I was hoping to build one.

I think it is unlikely that you will get far with AppleScript as this normally involves reverse engineering the web page HTML/JavaScript and perhaps having a modified local copy of some or all of it.
Are you able to paste the URL here without security implications?
You could try looking at the source HTML of the web page.
I am not sure if anybody makes a special web page viewer which has more control than a standard browser.

Change process order 'Created By' field

I am creating process order by planned orders through transaction COR7.
My requirement is to change 'Created By' field. The transaction update the Created By field with login id.
Is there any way to change this field with userid other than login id.
I have already checked all the user exits used in this transaction.

Is the document which you want to change the “Document Created By” referred by others?
Is the versioning or workflow turned on in the document library ?
Are there some other influences if you delete the file and upload it again?
If the answer is “No”, I suggest you to delete the file and add again in code. Then you can change the “Author” column of the document
as the method what Steve.Curran said.

Rambabu is correct. Check the alternate sales document types which your current sales document type is having in VOV8 transaction. You can have the current sales document type replaced with the assigned alternate sales document type 1 or alternate sales document type 2 during run time in the during creation or change mode subject to the current sales order is not having any subsequent document. Re-pricing will happen accordingly and all the things of order will get redetermined.

Changing Sales order Status (Z-Status Profile) without manual intervention

Hi All,
I have a Z-Status Profile created for Sales Order. There are about 6 statuses in this profile. An enhancement requires change of particularly two statuses only by the user exit after certain calcualtions and not manually by any user in any case.
Can anyone suggest a way to handle this case? If authorization object should be created then based on which fields should this authorization object be created? If not, this there any other way to handle this.

Thanks for your reply. The usage of the User Exit and the Function Module is quite clear. My question is how do we control the change of two statuses only by the User Exit without any manual intervention, i.e., no user should be able to change these two statuses manually,only the program should be able to do this..How do we handle this scenario?

We create Internal Order using tcode KO01 and being a multi plant scenario , we want to have an authorization control on Internal Order creation/change so that plant or profit-center level authorization rights can be given to the users .

It can be done. You have two options.
1. SAP security - when your security person can limit a user by plant, profit center etc using authorization objects.
2. Validations - Here you can create a validation where you define you logic. In your logic you can restrict set of users who can access a set of fields (profit center, plant etc). If he deviates, the system can issue error messages which is maintained in validations. Use transaction GGB0 to create validations.
