if authorizations are used in our report programs then how can we find used Authorizations ?

you are talking about the user authorized to use particular T-code / report / program right ?
these things will done by the BASIS consultant, according to the client requirement you have to give the list of T-codes/reports/programs who are authorized and who are not authorized in the system.
if you want more details please ask this discussion in the concerned area in SCN Basis.
hope you understand the concept regarding the authorization of a report / program to a user.

Eswari.You have most of the info already here. Just use Query Builder to pull back the rest of the object info and you'll have what you need. I'm not sure which report you want, but either can be achieved in much of the same way. You'll need to know the parent-child heirarchy for the folder structure to determine where this report sits. once you have this info, open the CR designer and open the report from the repository navigating the folder heirarchy you found.
1. Open "Query Builder" from the start | programs menu on the server. Depending on the version of XI you are using, the url will differ.
2. Execute a query similar to what you posted to bring back the info for the report object (not instances) with the name 'scorecard'. If multiple reports exist in different folders with the same name, they will all be returned.
SELECT * FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_NAME = 'scorecard' AND SI_PROGID = 'CrystalEnterprise.Report' and SI_INSTANCE = 0
3. Look for SI_PARENT_FOLDER attribute and query on this ID next. That should give you the name of the parent folder the report sits within.
SELECT * FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_ID = <si_parent_folder>
4. You will need to keep querying for the parent in order to work your way up the folder tree. -

Is there a standard report that can be run to show payments to vendors by check and wire. Currently, we use the check register for checks but can't find one report that would list both checks and wires submitted to a vendor. Assistance would be appreciated!

Unfortunately, we do not have layout 2SAP.
1. So there's no way to get the vendor number and name visible when subtotaling?
2. Is there any way to sort by TOTAL vendor amount?

Custom authorization object and check logic
Hi gurus,
we need to apply additional authorization check in our custom reports.
so i created a custom fields & object, and put the statement
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'ZHR_APP01' FOR USER uname
ID 'ZROLEID' FIELD '03'
ID 'ZSOBID' FIELD zzdwbm.
in a abap class method centrally, so it could be called by many reports.
but the test show that the sy-subrc always set to 0, even for users without any authorization.
what i missed for adding custom auth check?
for this case, do i need to maintain authorization check indicator in SU24?
what i am confused is that , su24, you have to maintain a transaction , but our authorization check is not for transaction , but for reports and bsp application, how should i maintain su24 for that?

I have created a Custom Authorization Object for HR named Z_ORIGIN (it has Personnel Subarea field BTRTL besides what's there in Auth. Object P_ORIGIN) and made it Check/Maintain for transaction PA30 in SU24.
I can see the entries in the USOBT_C & USOBX_C tables for this object, I am also able to add this object in the roles as well.
Everything looks fine, but when I execute the transaction the object Z_ORIGIN is never checked (for a user having this object in his/her User Master). Only P_ORIGIN object is checked instead.
We've ran the report RPUACG00 also which is mentioned in this thread.
We also coded the authority check code in the both user exit ZXPADU01 and ZXPADU02 for PA infotype operations
I believe I'll have to write some ABAP code e.g. AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'ZP_ORGIN' etc. Can anybody tell which User Exit or Field Exit I'll have to put the AUTHORITY-CHECK code in, so that my new custom authorization object is alwayz checked
but still it is taking the P_ORGIN object. -

I know we can get from sap easy access in
information system but that is not all reports as I always find some report
which is not listed there so we want to freeze the list and we want to know

Hierarchy Analysis Authorization in BW and BOBJ Webi Report

We have a scenario wherein we have implemented Analysis Authorizations (Hierarchy) on Organizational Unit info object (0ORGUNIT) and need to report on BOBJ WEBI. Our scenario is as following
ORGUNIT - L0 (Overall Enterprise Level)
- L1 (Enterprise - Continent Wise Split)
- L2 (Enterprise u2013 Country Wise Split)
- L3(Enterprise u2013 City Wise Split)
E.G-
LO (Company ABC) MANAGER 0 will have access to the entire organization
-L1 (ASIA) MANAGER1 will have access to ASIAN Subcontinent
-L2 (India) MANAGER 2 will have Access to country India
-L3 (New Delhi) MANAGER 2.1 will have access to city Delhi
-L3 (Mumbai) MANAGER 2.2 will have access to city Mumbai
-L2 (Malaysia) MANAGER 3 will have access to Country Malaysia
-L3 (Kuala Lampur)
-L3 (pahang)
- L1 (Europe)

The requirement is that the CEO of the company should be able to see the entire set of data ( L0-L4).We have continent managers who can see that data specific to their continent, similarly at L3 Level the city manageru2019s should see the data only for their specific city.
In BI we have used analysis authorization based on hierarchies. We have created an authorization object say ZAUTH1 and have assigned the hierarchy L0 from RSECADMIN. Now, in Webi when we create a report a sample row comes as :
L0 Org Unit L1 Org Unit L2 Org Unit L3 Org Unit SALES Key Figure
Company ABC Asia India Mumbai 1000
Now, we have MANAGER 2.2 who has only access to the data specific to his city (Mumbai). There is an Analysis Authorization object created for him ZAUTH2, by ONLY assigning the org unit hierarchy L3 (for Mumbai). When we run the bex report with the user MANAGER 2.2 u2013 it correctly displays the result and the user is only able to see the data for L3 Org Unit (Mumbai). However when you bring this data to Webi u2013 the report comes in the below format:
L0 Org Unit L1 Org Unit L2 Org Unit L3 Org Unit SALES Key Figure
Mumbai 1000
The L3 org unit has now got assigned to L0 Org unit , as this is the only org unit assigned to the MANAGER 2.2 user .
In such a case we are not able to write any generic formulae for the report. Is there a way to correct this issue? u2018Mumbaiu2019 should either get assigned to the L3 OrgUnit column is webi report , or is there a workaround that is possible ?

The problem you speak of is known and comes from the fact that the hierachy is flattened in the process of delivering it to WebI. Therefore there is no real 'solution' to the problem, just some work-arounds you can think of...
1)
Create a report variable that starts looking at the lowest level, if it is empty check one up, and so on until you found what you were looking for (the lowest leaf available), which by definition must be there (even if it is top level).
Using similar logic you can also get a 'number of levels avaible' and so fill in the complete tree (duplicating the highest level).
This is difficult to explain when end users create their own reports, though you could provide a template report with these variables in there already.
2)
Extend the hierarchy with duplicates below the lowest level.
So i.e. L0 Company - L1 Continent - L2 Country - L3 City- L4 City - L5 City- L6 City.
This will give back on the four levels for top authorization
L0 Company - L1 Continent - L2 Country - L3 City
For authorization on Continent:
L0 Continent - L1 Country - L2 City- L3 City
For autorization City
L0 City- L1 City - L2 City- L3 City
So in all situations the fourth level, the L3 Object will hold the City level.
This you can then use in your report.

Hi All,
I am getting an error message "All available connections to database server are in use by other client machines. Please try again later and check the log file for error 5054" when trying to log into HRC (This user has the reporting capabilities) . I checked the log files this is what i found out
The log file stated that there were ongoing connections of HRC with the CCX (I am sure there isn't any active login to HRC)
|| When you tried to login the following error was being displayed because the maximum number of connections were reached for the server . We can see that a total number of 5 connections have been configured . ||

What is the OS version of the PC you are running and is it physical machine or virtual machine that is running the HRC client ..
OS Version Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and it’s a physical machine.
. The Max DB Connections for Report Client Sessions is set to 5 for each servers (There are two servers). The no of HR Sessions is set to 10.
I wanted to know if there is a way to find the HRC sessions active now and terminate the one or more or all of that sessions from the server end ?We have had this "PRX5" problem with Exchange 2013 since the RTM version. We recently applied CU3, and it did not correct the problem. We have seen this problem on every Exchange 2013 we manage. They are all installations where all roles
are installed on the same Windows server, and in our case, they are all Windows virtual machines using Windows 2012 Hyper-V.
We have tried all the "this fixed it for me" solutions regarding DNS, network cards, host file entries and so forth. None of those "solutions" made any difference whatsoever. The occurrence of the temporary error PRX5 seems totally random.
About 2 out of 20 incoming mail test by Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer fail with this PRX5 error.
Most people don't ever notice the issue because remote mail servers retry the connection later. However, telephone voice mail systems that forward voice message files to email, or other such applications such as your scanner, often don't retry and
simply fail. Our phone system actually disables all further attempts to send voice mail to a particular user if the PRX5 error is returned when the email is sent by the phone system.
Is Microsoft totally oblivious to this problem?
PRX5 is a serious issue that needs an Exchange team resolution, or at least an acknowledgement that the problem actually does exist and has negative consequences for proper mail flow.

is there any possibility to find job (jobname) their scheduling and the corresponding reports with their variant via sql queries?
Looking up the tables tbt-something only show %NEWSTEP for the INTREPORT value, so this isn´t clearifying at all.
Maybe you could tell me the tables where the reports and their variants are saved.

I have a web page that contains a ReportViewer control. I am trying to display a report, which is an .rdl file located on the SSRS server, in this ReportViewer control. I have set the ReportPath and ReportServerUrl correctly. I am
getting an error message.
Am I suppose to use an .rdlc file rather than a .rdl file? Does the web server configuration need to use a certain account?
I am getting the following error message:
The attempt to connect to the report server failed. Check your connection information and that the report server is a compatible version.

The error "The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found." means the ReportServerURL configured in the ReportViewer control is invalid.
Please follow these steps to solve the issue:
Logon the Report Server machine.
Open the Reporting Services Configuration Manager.
Copy the Report Server URL from 'Web Services URL'.
Logon the application server(in this case, it is the server that host the web page), check if we can use the URL we got from step 3 to access the Report Server. If so, please replace the ReportServerURL in the ReportViewer control with this URL. If it is
not available, could you please post the error message.
Additionaly, we don't need to provide the extension for a server report. The ReportPath should be like: /<reports folder>/<report name>

When I check my boot SSD drive using Disk Utility under Mavericks, I often get "Incorrect number of extended attributes" errors. But if I boot off an external drive and check the same SSD, no errors are reported.
This happens not just with the SSD in my Mac Mini, but with another SSD in my MacBook (both now running Mavericks). So far as I know, all of the kit I am using is in good order (despite the file corruption reports). So I am beginning to wonder if it could be due to a bug in Mavericks? Both SSD drives have been formatted to MacOS Extended (journaled) format. Should I have used a different format, I wonder?
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Does anyone have a solution?
Or an explanation that might help my investigation of the issue?
Thanks guys,I understand that the Corsair Force 3 is not one of the SSD drives that are supported on Apple Macs.
I did try downloading and using Trim Enabler, but the error message came up both when it was off and when it was on.
I understand that not everyone thinks Trim Enabler is a good program, though there is a new version out now, so I may give it another try. -

iam developing a report based on below requirement.
extract vendor master file and A/P transaction file for 4 fiscal years ( 2004-2008) for all company codes. include bith active and inactive vendors in vendor file and both paid and unpaid transactions in transaction file
so iam geting the closed items from BSAK . based on getting
payment and check information from PAYR and REGUP tables . openitems iam getting from BSIK.
with above logic from from BSAK iam getting more data (so many records for each vendor) i dnt want to include all the records.i want just payment transaction for each invoice.
please tell me how can i filter the data.how can i write the logic for it?

We can use in alv output icons and check boxes
ICON(1) TYPE C, " as icon
SYMBOL(1) TYPE C, " as symbol
CHECKBOX(1) TYPE C, " as checkbox
in field catolog we can use these fields and you have to assign like remaing fields how you are using like that only. If you know Icon function code or symbol you put there, I think it may works.

Problem. Alla my tools and panels are hidden, can´t find them. Have try Windows>menyer....... and checked. all is ok.
Press the Tab key, it shows/hides panels.
Or Window > Workspace > Reset or use a different workspace.
