Auto triggering of smartform

Hi,
I have created a smartform alongwith its driver program. I have attached it to the output type WA03.
Whenever I create a delivery which automatically confirms a TO and creates a material document, the smartform should have got automatically triggered. However it doesn't happen.
Instead if I go to the transaction MB02 and do Process Output and do repeat processing the smartform gets triggered and displays perfectly.
The problem is whenever the material document is created and at first processing of WA03 the smartform should have got displayed.
The first processing status is green but the smartform is not displayed and is even not there in the spool.
Please help.

first i thougth that the message control it self is not getting triggered but as u said processing status is green and there is no spool created...
put the break point in the print program.. when the message controle calls u r print program it will stop there then analyse wht is happening.. and check the NAST table entries also..

Auto triggering of IDOC after PO creation

Hi,
Currently after creation of PO, the PO will get triggered automatically to other system in the form of IDOC.
For this we have assign the condition record for the PO vendor and used the standard SAP function module 'IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS' to create the IDOC.
But now we have a requirement like for some POs the IDOC should not get auto triggered to other system.
Do we have any user exit available to not to call the SAP standard FM used to create the IDOC??
or Is there any way we can stop auto triggering of POs

Hi,
try using the Badi : ME_PROCESS_PO--method-POST. where you check the condition and trigger the IDOCs.
OR else restrict using the conditions records,

Hi,
When i execute the smartform. i am getting error message "Error cannot be classified (unknown exception triggered) "
error message ID : SSFCOMPOSER
error Message No.: 003.
None of the smartforms are working. Please provide me the solution for this.

Please check the OSS note 567778.
To check it. Goto snote tcode, then follow the path: Goto-> Download SAP note -> Give the note number 567778
After that It will say that note has been downloaded. Now follow the path: Goto-> SAP note Browser, here give the note number again.
Check the implementation status.. Let me know....

SAPFM06P - Can this program be used for triggering a Smartform Output??

Hi Experts!
I researched a lot and came to a conclusion that Program SAPFM06P can only be used trigger either a SAP SRIPT Output or a PDF FORM output. It cannot be used to trigger a SMARTFORM output directly as there is no code in it to trigger a SMARTFORM.
My understanding:
I will have to either create an Enhancement to the Program or a Zcopy of SAPFM06P where I need to write the logic in form routine ENTRY_NEU to call a SMARTFORM.
Please tell me if my understanding is correct and please guide me if there is any easier way to achieve the same functionality.

U can Copy this standard Program to ZProgram and Insert the FM SSF_FUNCTIONMODULE_NAME and call ur smartform and assign the same combination to the Output type Given to u in NACE Transaction..

New Page triggering in SMARTFORMS

hi all
According to my requirement if the subarea of the person changes it should trigger the new-page. I have written the new-page command in Event on sort begin. It is triggering when the subarea changes but the last record of previous subarea is repeating into the next page when there is only one record in the pervious page, with more records of the same personnel subarea in the pervious page.
If the subarea is having only one record it is printing in a new page and the next subarea is also printing in the new page correctly.
If the last page of a particular subarea is having more than 1 record, the next subarea is printing correctly in the next page.
The problem is coming only when one record is printing in a page and there are some more records of the same subarea in the pervious page. The record is getting printed in the last page is repeating again in the next page with the changed subarea.
pls give me the solution.

what would the trigger be on and do?
I guess you will need the get the day from sysdate and only execute the code if it was the required date, but it would still fire each time the action occurs.

Auto-triggering of PM Planning from service contract

Greetings!
I am currently working to automatically trigger preventive maintenance service order from service contracts. However, I have been struggling to understand some of the dates and the date rules, and how they work?
The dates are:
                                                    Rule Name
a) Planning start date:                  Today's Date
b) Planning Date From:                Determine Planned Date
c) Planning Date To:                    Planned Start + Tolerance
d) Start of Interval                        Planning Start Date
e) Service order creation date:     Planned Date - 2 weeks
f) Tolerance:
Let's say that I would like to have a contract valid from the 13.08.2014 to 13.09.2015, and I want the preventive maintenance service order to be begin from 20.08.2014, with a interval period of every 2 days (may be until 10.09.2015). Then how should I fill these dates in the service contract item ?
I would be glad if someone explained it to me. If you have a better example, I would also appreciate that.

When you are using Contract is a Outline agreement -That may be Quantity or Value contract this for specific period.
Example you can maitain various Service line items for entire Periods as per the Contract details with Vendor.
when you want to create Release order w.r.t Contract for a specific work or only for Specific Services
whatever you want to required service for that release order that only system will ask us to select the services just like while creating Service entry sheets how we adopt the required services lines for accepting.
we need to select the Services from the contracts by manually while creating Release order
System will not copy automatically.
If you have more than 100 service lne items in Contract If you want to create release order only for 10 service line items then unnecessarly 100 line items will copies.T o overcome this problems SAP will allow to select the service manuall for adopting to release order from contract

Auto triggering after creating change pointer

Has anyone setup their ALE Master Data Distribution to trigger program RBDMIDOC automatically after creating a change pointer?

Hi Neil,
The program RBDMIDOC needs to be scheduled to run in backgroung by creating a variant for Messge Type with the Message Type you are using for your Master Data Distribution, and with the option 'Only for Background Proc.'.
Also schedule the program RBDCPCLR for periodic execution in Background. All change ptrs generated by the program RBDMIDOC will bedeeted y the system.

Emails not going when workflow auto triggers

I have a SPD workflow which contains send email action . When I run from the list item >> Workflows >> Start Workflow ...it is working and sending email without any issues . When I try to run the same workflow using power shell script , workflow
is able to run fine.... but email is not going and logging error message as below . Please help
The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing e-mail settings for the server are configured correctly.

Would you mind to share the PowerShell code you used to trigger the workflow for reproducing the issue?
Have you tried to run PowerShell code with another account？

Printing of Production Order related smartforms while creation of P.O

Hi All,
SCENARIO: Production order related smartforms have to print as soon as we create the P.O. It is happening when I create the P.O in CO01 in front end.
PROBLEM: I am calling CO01 transaction in BDC method and creating the P.O, I have used MODE 'E' UPDATE 'A' in call transaction method. Here it is not triggering the smartforms. First of all, it is not triggering my print program itself. But it is happening while in creation of P.O in front end.
Can anyone tell and suggest me, how can we solve this problem.

Hi Ramesh,
Few screen would popup only in foreground but not in background. That could be the reason bcz of which you BDC is not working in background.
Please pass the BDCMSGCOLL data into a spool using WRITE statement to check what is the error in executing BDC.
Else debug the background job using JDBC in command prompt of SM37.

    Please help me out on this query. I know how to make a smartform. I've made smartforms but the condition is that it triggers only one smartform. I've a requuirement that I've to trigger smartform for multiple vendors.The format of the smartform will be the same.Logo will be same. The address of the vendors will be changed.The line items in the main window will be changed.Footer will be constant. There will be a select option on the selection screen, which will select a range of the vendors.There will be some other parameters.I tried using loop, but every time it triggers one smartform & then again displays "print preview dialog box". I want all the smartforms to generate in one go.once the smartform for one vendor finishes, it should trigger a new one on the next page.Please help me out urgently.If anyone has a sample program, please send it to me.Reward points will be there.

Smartform Mail Issue

Can anyone please let me know how to set the value of JOB_OUTPUT_INFO-OUTPUTDONE to 'X' in the class CL_SF_MAIL_PPF.
My requirement is to avoid error mesage in logs of transaction CRMD_ORDER which is triggering a smartform mail, if I change the value of JOB_OUTPUT_INFO-OUTPUTDONE to 'X' while debugging, I am not getting the error message in the logs.
Mail is triggerred with PDF, there is no issue in the mail, except the above issue.
Please let me know how to set the above mentioned field to 'X' programatically. Point ll be awarded.

Replacement of Sapscript to Smartform

Hi All ,
There is a standard SAP program in FI - F.27 if output type config. is done with a FORM NAME it will then fire the sapscript .
I need to first change the F.27 program to a custom prog and make a few changes based on client reqt.
After which config can be done with FORM NAME and sapscript will fire.
BUT I WANT TO DEVELOP A SMARTFORM AND NOT A SAPSCRIPT.
If i do so then what config. setting will i give in form name ? I cant give the name of func. module generated for smartform. As I would need to pass parameters to it.
Could any one help me in this regard. Isnt it possible for me to go in for a smartform in this case?

Hi,
Generally we fire the Output of Script Form or Smartform using an Output Type linked with a Driver program.
If you see the settings of a Sales Order or Pur order in the Transaction NACE you will come to know this.
So no extra efforts are required for you even you develop a Smartform. Only thing is that in the Settings (Output type-Program-Script Form/Smartform) Against Output Type and Program remove the Script Form Name and Add the Smartform Name(your Own) and Save. You have to modify the Driver program by copying it to Z program little bit such that it triggers the Smartform instead of Script Form(just below the OPEN_FORM function Module.

Getting Error in CMC - source file error. [No such file or directory]: [CrystalEnterprise.Smtp]

Dear All,
I am able to schedule the Crystal report successfully means mail gets auto triggered as we set in SCHEDULE option. But when we tried to use the notification option we get the status as FAILED. nd in details we get "source file error. [No such file or directory]: [CrystalEnterprise.Smtp]".
But still a mail gets triggred and each and every person will get mail. but the issue is notification will not work properly and no notification mail. And the status is despayed as FAILED with "source file error. [No such file or directory]: [CrystalEnterprise.Smtp]" this message.

How to avoid print configuration screen

Hi everybody,
I'm executing a program which has to print two smartforms, one followed by the other, but I don't want the printing configuration screen before printing each one, I want it only to appear in the first one and then inherit printing parameters in the next smartform and avoid the screen.
How can I do this? I think that is by using output_options parameter but I don't know exactly how.

I understand that you have your own program that triggers both Smartforms, one after the other, right?
Try this:
In your program trigger the first smartform (and have the print config screen popup)
WITHIN that smartform you trigger the second Smartform and suppress the the config screen.
Since the output options are know at this point you can pass them to the second smartform.
