whats the auto update link in support if its no good for any O/S? maybe except vista....
hello people at CL but xp isn't quite redundant yet and alot more stable than vista. or should i say..the new windows millenium edition.
i have a soundcard made by what should be the world best sound card creators yet its naff. all it does is bring up errors and i cant even run or start to load in teamspeak with this installed. soundblaster X-fi platinum! maybe i should just bin it and install and re-enable the soundcard i got with the mainboard it tends to work unlike the ?50 soundcard i bought. it might be a year old but its only actually been installed twice on 2 com

i would say the same comp but its like havin the same brush thats had 4 stales and 6 heads. i have replaced and rebuilt my game system to keep up with the new games over the last year and now has a ASUS crosshair mainboard and 4 gig of ram along with 4 250 gig HDD's -- only got data on one of those and thats only 20% full so whats the point? ... anyway the gold plated X-fi has been carefully looked after, installed and uninstalled placed in its orig packaging between the next install so why in the world is this the only thing on gods earth that gives me greif on the pc?

well the X-fi is finally where it belongs and should have been at planning......in the bin in 2 halves! i have had an old SB li've audigy card for since it was released back in 2003-4. the console portion of it is long lost but the card was layin at the bottom of my periferal box for a few years and works perfect. i have been building pc's and gaming for many years and my advice to CL is simple. if you are going to initiate an auto update button for ease of driver/hardware scanning then dont have it soley for one O/S and test it on a few private machines before you add it to the site. windows vista isn't the only O/S out there so if your going to create new updated drivers then do it for all platforms, remember not alot of people like vista or the new windows ME that ms has brought out. and finally, if your going to produce "the mother of all soundcard's" (X-Fi)?make sure it works before you put a ?40+ price tag on it. I'm an end user, a paying customer who payed?over half a weeks wage on something that never worked right. like many on here, some who may have?actually saved for a few weeks/months to?buy that peice of high class garbage. I'm not having a dig or slating CL you do actually sometimes make some good stuff and are suppost to be the leaders in soundcards, the latest version unfortunately has let you down considerably. last time i spoke to a CL techy about it he said send the card back in its box with the bill of sale (proof of purchase) some tings dont get kept, i would imagin that somthing in its original box with the original papers and original driver disk and extra disk?would be proof enough but no CL require everything including what brand food the dog eats. before they consider checking it out. to me thats wrong. buy a snap on spanner or tool and break it..... snap on only require the busted tool as proof.

Creative Mixer Doesnt work after auto-upda

So I recently Updated my SB Audigy 2 drivers (from the CD) to the ones supplied by creative auto update. It updated the ones that mentioned Audigy 2 | 4 drivers or something like that. Ever since I updated to that, my Mixer will no work anymore. Everytime I load it up it says "Cannot find audio device" I figured it was a driver issue, so I uninstalled all drivers, rebooted. Put the CD in to reinstall everything and now it says "Cannot reconize devices" or something along the line of saying it cant find my soundcard! Highlighting Text & Auto Text Options

I've recently migrated from MS Word to Pages, and I'm determined to make this new relationship work. In Word I used its highlighting text (as with a real highlighter--yellow, pink, etc.) feature, as well as its Auto Text feature, in which I had a number of prescribed, hyperlinked comments. (I'm a teacher, and I would auto text things like, "comma error," which would then be linked to a web page about comma errors.
Can anyone help me discover ways to do both of these in Pages? Also, is there anything for Pages like MS Word's macros?

Welcome to the forums, Brad.
There is no direct analogue in Pages to Word's highlighting feature. However, you can use the Comments feature to add specific comments to a specific piece of text (with the advantage that the comments can be easily hidden, since you are not changing the characteristics of the actual text). Simply select a bit of text and click the Comment icon in the toolbar, or from the Insert menu select "Comment". The selected text will highlight in document, and a comments box will appear to the left of the page, in which you can type whatever you want. In the comments box you can select whatever text you want and make it a hyperlink, by going to the Hyperlink Inspector. Unfortunately, there is not an easy way to automate the creation of a hyperlink, at least as far as I know.
There are plenty of third-party applications that will let you store and add snippets of text easily to any Mac document, including Pages. These include TypeIt4Me, Butler, and even Quicksilver, which has a fanatical following and may be more than you need for this kind of task. I'm sure others here might be able to suggest other apps.
One caution, however: If you intend to be sharing documents with others, they must be using Pages themselves to take advantage of these features. Unless your students are also using Pages, these workarounds won't really help.

Yes you certainly can.
Right click any desktop in the list > Settings > in the left pane select the desktop you want to auto connect to > check "Auto connect to this desktop".

How to take auto running configuration backup when use commit command in asr9k .Our asr9k sofware Version 4.0.1[Default] .I usse the commands

I have not personally seen this issue before but you may find verifying your config helpful.
SUMMARY STEPS

GR/IR not auto clear in system

Hi All,
GR/IR not auto clear in system
Normally every week end the system automatically clears the open items in f.13, But this time it has not clear the open items
What could be the reason the system not to clear open items on the week end.
So that's the reason the user manually cleared the open items
- User has performed F.13 on 26th of Oct but system didn't auto clear the open items.
- Those documents are posted prior to 26th of Oct and user would like to know what cause to incident.
Please suggest me what should be the reason to come out of this issue.

IS AUTO - How to block creation of delivery

We are working on IS Auto Industry. Right now we are facing one issue. We are getting confirmation of service instead of GI. I do analysed the problem and found that this is happening because of the following.
We are creating delivery using BF Message. While creating delivery system check for schedule lines in the corresponding SSA. If there are JIT schedule line then we do not have any problem. However, If there are no JIT delivery schedules, forecast delivery schedules will be considered. In this case system will not be able to perform PGI and gives confirmation of service instead of GI.
Can we configure the in such a way that it should create delivery if & only if JIT schedule lines exists? Otherwise, (no JIT Schedule but Forecast Schedule exists) system should throw error in BF Message.
Pls suggest.

What I understand from your post is that you want that a delivery document created for a Sales order should not allow the quantity to go beyond the Sales Order Quantity.
You can do this by going to the following customizing entry.
First determine the item category relevant to you here:
LE -> Shipping -> Deliveries -> Define Item Category determination in Deliveries
Then go to "Define Item Categories for Deliveries". Open the relevant item category. In the field "check overdelivery" Provide value "B" and save.

Auto cancellation of schedule lines

Hi,
We have a requirement fo auto cancellation of schedule line such that after some time of schedule line delivery date system should cancel the schedule line if the GR has not been posted so that new schedule line needs to be generated by MRP .
In standard scenario if the GR has not been done system will keep open the schedule line and will not generate new schedule line.
Is there any config setting is there??

MRP - Auto creation of del schedule lines based on planned delivery time

Hi,
We have activated MRP (type PD) where Purchase requiesition is auto created by system for requirement quantity. We require to optimize delivery schedule in such a way that entire PR quantity is broken into various delivery schedule based on planned delivery time and requirement. Scenario can be further explained with following example.
Material Requirement for a month is say 1,25,000 units
Closing Stock say 25,000 units
PR Generated by system for 1,00,000 units. The entire quantity is schdulled with only one delivery schedule line as per planned delivery time.
The requirement is to generate multiple delivery schedule lines automatically in Purchase requisition based on planned delivery time so that Purchase orders can be placed with system generated delivery schedule lines.
How can it be achieved ?

This subject has been discussed repeatedly in this and other forums. I must assume that you overlooked the rules of engagement, which state that you should first search the forums and other public sites, before posting questions here.
Standard SAP MRP cannot be made to generate multiple items in a Purchase requisition. The functionality you seek is usually achieved when converting purchase reqs to Purchase orders, where many single purchase reqs can be adopted into a single Purchase order.
You also might want to investigate use of Vendor Scheduling agreements.

Is there a way to create a rule that sends and Auto Response for a shared mailbox?

I have a shared mailbox set up that receives emails that are sent to 3 different addresses:
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
I would like to create a rule that would send an auto response when someone emails one of these addresses. However, I don't want an auto response sent to [email protected] so I can't just set up an "out of office" reply for the mailbox.
Is there a way that I can create a rule to send an automated response to 2 of the 3 addresses?

we can enable the shared mailbox in ADUC and create Outlook rules for it in Outlook to achieve it. please follow these steps:
1. In Active Directory Users and Computers, right-click the shared mailbox and click Enable Account.
2. Configure the Outlook account for the shared mailbox in Outlook.
3. Click Rules > Manage Rules & Alerts.
4. Create a rule like the following format:
Apply this rule after the message arrives
Have server reply using a specific message
Except if the subject contains specific words
Select exception(s) (if necessary) of the Outlook Rule - (“except if from people or public group“)
5. Apply the auto reply rules for this shared mailbox.
Then users can receive auto reply of the shared mailbox except the exceptions we have set when they send messages to this shared mailbox.

Error auto-deploying a Web App (.WAR file)

Weblogic 6.1 throws a FileNotFoundException about 10% of the time for me when
auto-deploying a Web app. Has anyone else run into this? I searched the newsgroups
but didn't come up with anything, so I thought I'd start here.
My build/deploy cycle is managed by an Ant build file that creates a WAR file
of my web application and then drops it into $WL_HOME/config/mydomain/applications.
Occasionally when I do this, I get the error shown below. Originally I was building
the WAR file right in the ../applications directory, so I thought that might be
an issue. So, I started building the WAR file in a staging directory and copying
it into ../applications. No luck. Next, I tried deleting the original WAR file
from ../applications, and THEN copying the new one over from the staging directory.
Still fails occasionally.
Let's see. This is Weblogic 6.1 on Win2K. The only other thing is that my dev/build/staging
environment is on a network share, and it's from there that I'm copying the WAR
file to my local machine (where WL is running).
If someone has seen and/or knows what is up with this, great. If not, it's not
a show-stopper.

This is a problem with 6.1 SP2 also -- a very annoying error. Without auto deploy
working properly, developers are spending alot of time waiting for WebLogic to restart.
HELP!!! we need this fixed.

Auto-Promote Participants to Presenters is not working

Hi All,
I'm new to Adobe Connect and we are test driving it to see if we should use it for trainging as part of our virtual classrooms.
So far I'm really excited by what I see as it seems to be much more training oriented than WebEx.
However, I've come across a really big stumbling block.
I want students to contribute and share without having to individually promote them to presenters.
I found the option under 'Manage Access & Entry' to 'Auto-Promote Participants to Presenters' and thought this issue was solved.
However, it worked the first time I tested it but ever since it does not work.
When someone logs in as a guest they are logged in as a participant and NOT promoted to Presenter.
I've created a new meeting room with the same results.
I've specified that anyone can log in with the link and the 'Auto-Promote' is definately on.
Any ideas about why this is not working?

It sounds like you are using the Meeting Host licensing. This requires that a member of the Meeting Host group must be present in the meeting to fully activate the room functionality. The simple version of that is that no one will have higher than Participant rights until a member of the Meeting Host group joins. Once that condition is satisfied, then all other attendees will be promoted to Presenter, since you have the auto-promote function on.

Auto Update of conditions in Scheduling Agreement

Dear experts,
i have a requirement like this..
when we create a scheduling agreement ...we enter material,vendor,target qty and validity date ,price and enter tax code.
After that we maintain condition types Vendor, material and Plant level....
So in the same scheduling agreement we are adding one more material and giving same tax code.....Is there any possibility,so that system should copy condition types when we choose this tax code....rather than entering again and again for each material....

Tax conditions flow auto when you enter tax code
Whereas pricing conditions if those are manual conditions have to be maintained
manually
for conditions to flow automatically you have to customize the condition type for "changes can be made" with manual entries indicator as B
and maintain the condition record

How can I fix auto-pairing once and for all?

My iPhone 3G will sometimes auto-pair (and sometimes not) with my Bluetooth handsfree speaker phone (Blueant S1).
I think it's a radio problem with the iPhone because it's an intermittant problem. To fix it, I have to dig down in settings, turn off Bluetooth, then turn it back on. It usually finds the Blueant device when I do that, but it defeats the convenience of having a hands free device if I have perform this reset each time.
I have also started from scratch, removing the device profile from my iPhone and adding it back. Nothing changed. It auto-pairs about half the time.
An improvement would be an app that simply resets the Bluetooth radio.
Any other suggestions?
