Autoconfig and preclone

Dear,
we jut installed an R12 12.0.5 on 2 nodes.
i did add a new schema to the database tier.
after that i ran autoconfig and database tier and application tier and it was successful on both tiers.
i am about to do a cloning to other servers.
Question:
Do i need to run a PRECLONE on both database and application tiers sine i added a new schema to the database side before doing the cloning.

Did you create a new tablespace for the schema you have created? If yes, then you need to run preclone again.

i did run autoconfig and preclone.
So, if i create a new schema that using the old tablespace then i do not need to run preclone ???

Autoconfig has been available since 11.5.7. You do not have to enable Maintenance Mode in adadmin in order to run Autoconfig, so there is no direct relation. Some patches check to make sure you are in Maintenance Mode before you can apply them.

I have below dirs after installtion:
(1) D:\orclapps\orclappsappl
(2) D:\orclapps\orclappscomn
(3) D:\orclapps\orclappsdata
(4) D:\orclapps\orclappsdb\9.2.0
(5.1) D:\orclapps\orclappsora\8.0.6
(5.2) D:\orclapps\orclappsora\iAS
After installation I am able to logon and use application.
But I am badly stuck while applying below patch:
TXK AUTOCONFIG AND TEMPLATES ROLLUP PATCH U (9535311)
After applying that patch I have to perform below after patch steps.

2.3.2.1 On the Application Tier (as the APPLMGR user):
2.3.2.1.1 Source the environment file.
2.3.2.1.2 Create the appsutil.zip file by executing:
$ADPERLPRG $AD_TOP/bin/admkappsutil.pl
(On Windows: %ADPERLPRG% %AD_TOP%\bin\admkappsutil.pl)
This will create appsutil.zip in $APPL_TOP/admin/out .
2.3.2.2 On the Database Tier (as the ORACLE user):

Can somone tell me what the use of Dictionary is?

I am learning from the ADobe Flex store project and they use
a dictionary but i have no idea what the point of using such thing
is, i read the reference document and it doesn't really explain? is
it to basically check if the data is absolutely correct? can i use
something else ? can i get an example of how it differs

means my variable was pointing to wrong directtory
ORA_NLS10=/aplvol01/CRP/oracle/CRP/db/tech_st/10.2.0/ocommon/nls/admin/data
so i corrected it to “$ORACLE_HOME/nls/data/9idata”,
started the db, it gor started
ran autoconfig and preclone on dbtier
ran the same on appstier
all worked fine..than i broguht down the db gracefully
than started again and it again gave me the following
ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced on sql main screen
and alert.log
ORA-12701: CREATE DATABASE character set is not known
so i checked again the ORA_NLS10
and it was back to
[oracle@t1 data]$ echo $ORA_NLS10
/d01/oracle/t1/db/tech_st/10.2.0/ocommon/nls/admin/data

Database and Listener start up 'OK' (status code 0) but can't connect?

I've got an instance of EBS with database 11.1.0.7 on Oracle Linux 5.8 in a VM.
It's a new instance and been working for a few days but now I can't connect to the database.
I'm using the standard scripts that have been working so far to bring up the db (commands below) and when run both return status code 0, there is nothing unusual in their respective log files and all looks fine to me. When trying to connect from either SQL Developer or by running the EBS apps startup script [adstrtal.sh] I'm getting errors the database/listener is unreachable. Everything was working fine yesterday - I've not changed any configuration.
./addbctl.sh start
./addlnctl.sh start PROD
The only thing I can think is that last time the database was used it was crashed out due to the VirtualBox session hanging. As the scripts starting it back up again seemed to run OK I hoped that this didn't cause any long term issue? While obviously not good to be not shut down correctly this kind of issue shouldn't nuke the db should it?
Any help/light much appreciated.

What is the status of the database? Check the alert.log file for details.
For the listener, please issue "lsnrctl status PROD" and post the output here.
Please also run AutoConfig and make sure it completes successfully.

It seems as the 1040 sensors are not finding the TFTP server. The TFTP server list should not contain the ipaddress with values 32 or 92 in their octets,
1. The 1040 needs to learn of the TFTP by DHCP option 150.
2. Please make sure that it is set on your DHCP server.
3. To confirm that the 1040 sensor is receiving the TFTP IP open a web browser and type http:// and see if the TFTP address field is showing the IP.
4. If it is then you might also need to restart the TFTP service on the CUCM so that the 1040 can download the cnf and image files.
Attached is the userguide for 1040. Go through it and this should be able to resolve your issue.

Fist step install download winagents tftp server ,
enter a Service Monitor Server   Configuration / sensor1040 and in TFTP server enter    ip address(winagents tftpserver) and go to SETUP
in setup   put you ip address in PRIMARY SERVICE MONITOR and push OK   you look the server write file in (TFTP server )
Next STEP
Go to MANAGEMENT   and add new sensor you need mac address remember second port in sensor is span port you can make a sencond file in the tftp server
Next STEP
go to service monitor server and copy file *.img CSCOpx/
Next STEP
Search you dhcp server switch     option 150 in put your ip address tftp server when sensor power off and power on the sensor search tftp server and search files to autoconfig and register to service monitor when test is ok
its time to upload change winagent tftp server to callmanager tftp server

Oracle appsdba wdbsvr.app and cgicmd.dat

Is it necessary to change the apps password in wdbsvr.app and cgicmd.dat, why should we change the apps password in both file? Is there any difference between both files?

Is there any difference between both files?No, this was the case when changing the pass password was supported by the alter user command. Starting from FNDCPASS, you need to run AutoConfig and it will take care of updating those (and other) files.
Make sure you always have the latest AutoConfig patches applied.

DB Autoconfig fails

Hi,
Running R12.1.1 Demo on Oracle Linux.
Been having a few issues with the tnsnames.ora and listener.ora files, so I've gone to run the DB Autoconfig.
The database listener is up and running and so is the database.
I get the following in the adconfig.log

Do you have the latest autoconfig and TXK Patches?
And is the environment file sourced?
What is the value of $TNS_ADMIN?
Please post the listener.ora file from $TNS_ADMIN folder (cd $TNS_ADMIN)
And also, please post the output of
grep dbport $CONTEXT_FILE
