Automatic creation of employee to business partner

Hello geniuses,
We have scheduled a job that executes program BBP_VENDOR_SYNC. This brings new and updated partners from ECC 5.0 to our SRM 4.0.
After that, we have to manually create employee with contact person to each new partner, so that they can log on the system and participate in live auctions.
However, in our context, all information required in order to create an employee can be obtained by the corresponding business partner's data. This suggests we could automatize our process.
Have any of you ever attempted to do this? if so, could you give me hints?

Hi David,
             If you are creating customers from BP. i.e. first the BP will get created and then customer gets created, the way system behaves is that it creates the BP and get a number is generated for it, then it goes and create a customer with the same number by passing the number already created as BP.
So the number range for BP should be internal and for the customer account group should be external. you might need to create a different customer account group for REFX customers.
Assumption: same number range tick is selected in the assignment where we assign the BP group and customer account group.

    I am using SRM 4.0 and ECC 5.0. I have created Vendor Root Org EBP and replicated vendors from R/3 which is appearing in Vendor Organization in EBP.
    Now when I am trying to create Employee as contact person in thru WEB transaction in EBP "Manage Business Partner".
    After filling all mandatory info when I am saving the same and error popup is coming as given below:
    "Central system not reached"
    Can some body help analyze the same?

    Following attributes are already maintained for Vendor Root in Org Plan :-
    BUK
    BWA
    CUR
    ITS_DEST
    SYS
    VENDOR_ACS
    VENDOR_SYS
    Beside this I have checked up availability of replicated vendors in VENMAP table with GUID.
    First error message is coming:
    "Central system not reached"
    When I am defining Logical system and external business partner ID that is R/3 Supplier code than another error is coming :
    "BP role BUOP001 already exists for partner XXX"
    This XXX is running sr. no. of BP number range but do not appear in BP data base . And in next attempt next Sr. no. is blocked by system.
    Problem is still persisting pls. suggest.

    Thank you very much for your response , but what is the effect of assigning the business partner  number to an internal number assignment in customer account ( FI ). The FI team had assigned an internal number assignment for this account group. What are they supposed to do.

    Thanx for your contribution , it has helped me very well in setting up my RE config, though iam still not able to create the customer. Your contribution is quite adequate and very helpful . Am now working with the FI team to revise their config so that we can establish the source of this problem. I firmly believe that there is an incomplete config in Financials.

    Hi,
    Use the t.code: PRAA. Give reference to an existing employee vendor.
    Or, you can also create a batch job that runs this daily. Before that you need to create a reference employee vendor and input the most common fields in it (like, Recon Account, Payment method, etc.).

  • Delay in creation of idocs after business partner change

    Hello all,
    In our production CRM system, we had an issue where even though users were making changes/creation of business partners, there was no trigger for the creation of idocs to be sent to the middleware system (connected via ALE to the CRM system).
    This happened for a period of 17 minutes and then suddenly idocs started generating for the changes and posted to the middleware system as normal.
    There were no resource constraints in the system during that time.  We also checked the ORACLE database alert file to see if there were any database issues and found nothing.
    The main activity going on that time was the download of product/materials from our R/3 system. 
    We can confirm that bdocs were generated for the business partner change to be sent to R/3 and those were sent succesfully during these 17 minutes.  So only the creation of idocs were impacted.
    We are trying to determine root cause as to why for those 17 minutes, idocs were not getting created.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply.  The issue really is why during those 17 minutes idocs were not generated for the business partner changes.
    After those 17 minutes, idocs started generating fine (even for those business partner changes that happened during those 17 minutes).
    So we are looking to find a root cause for this behavior.

  • SD customer creation in background when Business Partner (ISU) is created

    Hi,
    In ISU, when Business Partner is created via FPP1, it creates a SD customer in the background once required settings are maintained.
    I have observed that the name field passed in Customer is a combination of various name fields (such as: first name, last name, affixe, name supplement etc.) maintained in BP.
    The requirement is that only first and last name shall be passed in customer's name field.
    Please let me know how we can control this. Also share the information on how Customer creation is triggered (via Event/function module/work flow etc.) in the process of BP creation.

    I assume that you know that the business partner (and also contract account) are implement by the means of BDT (business data toolset). The task menu of the business partner can be displayed with BUDT. The option 'business partner' -> 'control' -> 'Events' -> BUS7 (business data toolset) shows the define events that are processed during the processing of a business partner.
    At event DSAVC the SD customer is retrieved by means of muster_kun (function module ISU_BUPA_EVENT_DSAVC). In the exit  EXIT_SAPLES03_001 you should be in the position to change the data in the SD customer as you need it.

    i itend to create a business partner for employee in SAP E RECRUITMENT but when i run the report HRALXSYNC for an employee, the result i am getting is total blank. I suppose there should be some errors if it is not working properly, but the the screen after running the report is total blank.
    are any prior settings must me meet before the business partners can be created using HRALXSYNC?

    Requirements to use the report are the activation of the integration for buisness partner. You could get details from sap note  550055.
    You have to switch on the following keys in table T77S0  with  SM30:
    Group    Sem. ID
    HRALX   HRAC           to  'X' for global HR-Integration
    HRALX   OBPON        to "ON"  for activate the integration between organization object  and business partner 
    HRALX   PBPON         "ON"  for activation the integration between central perosn and business partner

    I want to set up a process when HR sets up an employee, there could be an automatic set up of the corresponding vendor rather than a manual process as at present.. is there any SAP standard functionality to do this? any recommendations for the best way to do do this?

    Just to follow on from Ravi's reply:  most sites that I work at have the report RPRAPA00 scheduled to run on a periodic basis (define the job via transaction code SM36) to automatically create employee's vendor accounts.   A screen variant is usually saved for the program, and then the batch session is monitored on a regular basis to ensure that it has run successfully.

    Can it poosible to create only vendors and not business partners in ECC from MDGS?  I know we can create vendors in MDGS but also creates BP in BUT000 after approval. I want only vendors to be created in LF* tables and no entiry in BP releated tables table..

    "Replication is done after the data is moved to the active area". here active area means the active area of MDG??replication moves the data from the active area of MDG to the tables of ECC in case of BP data model right?.
    Also in the case of co-deployment we still need to replicate from the application tables in the co-deployed system to target system?

    Hi Tina,
    You can refer to SAP note 956054 for this information. It describes in detail , the steps you need to follow to set up the CVI customizing and PPO activation.
    As for the error, I'm not too aware of what could be the cause unless we know the error number / description. I would suggest that you create a new thread about the error - possibly a lot of others would have come across it and will be able to help you immediately !

  • Organizational objects do not create a Business Partner ID

    I am setting up SRM org structure with PPOCA_BBP/PPOMA_BBP transaction. I am creating, companies, plants, purchase orgs, purchasing groups and positions and the problem is that SRM is not assigning a Business Partner number to any of those.
    I have already checked that there is an internal and external number range setup for Business Partners. Do you have any hints why this could be happening? Your help will be appreciated.

    Which SRM version are you using ?
    I imagine you would like to synchronize business partner data, which are created in backend, into SRM. You can use Tcode BBPGETVD or BBPUPDVD or run/schedule bbp_vendor_sync (need customizing).
    You can create BP:->
    1) Either via middleware replication from R/3 to SRM - BBPGETVD.
    2) Either manually directly in SRM web transaction - BBPMAININT.

  • Business partner number Issue in Service Groups

    In My Current Business process we are creating Manual Organizational Unit  Service Groups,  at the time of creation system should generate Business partner number with ROLE Organization.
         Recently we are updated system windows to UNIX . from that release system not generating business partner number automatically in Organizational unit .
    I  have run the program HRALXSYNC  to Synchronize organizational unit  in background,  then system generated business partner number but this  number not  visible under organizational unit  beside objective id . Available under transaction BP .
    And we are failed to find service group name under  service groups result list..

    Hello!
    In the WebUI there are different Business Partner Types (Person, Organization, Group).
    From user perspective you can differentiate between:
    - Corporate Account (Organization)
    - Individual Account (Person)
    - Group Account (Group)
    - Employee (Person)
    - Contact Person (Relationship) (Person)
    All these Business Partner have an own Overview-Page. Usually you can create the Business Partner starting from the related Search-Result-List (by default the new-button is not available for Employees as a Sales Rep usually doesnu2019t create new Employees u2026).
    You can assign Business Partner Roles to these Business Partners (there is an own Assignment-Block within every Overview-Page of a Business Partner). Some roles will also get assigned automatically, if you create this Business Partner.
    However it is possible to assign multiple roles to the Business Partner. Itu2019s also possible to have different Views of one Business Partner. E. g. an Individual Account can also be a Contact Person for another Account. But here it is not the Role determining the View it is the Contact Person Relationship doing this.
    The Role itself also has an impact on the UI of the Business Partner as dependent on the Roles some Assignment-Blocks are displayed or not.

    Hello Group:
          I continue with LSMW+IDOC for Business Partner Migration in SAP Banking.
          I am using the Idoc Message BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_SAVE_M.
          I get the error:
               “Specify at least one number for the business partner”.
          But if I complete the following fields:
               OBJECT_TASK = U
               BPARTNER = 0000300024
               BPARTNERGUID = 0017087CDA621DECB3B9F5618A6FC300
          The IDoc works Ok, and modify the BP in question (300024).
          In my originals tests, for CREATE a Business Partner, the first parameter had value "I" (Insert) and White the others two.
          Someone would know as I complete these parameters to achieve successfully creation of a New Business Partner?
