Automatic PR for ROH materials

Hi Gurus,
I am facing problem in PR creation for ROH material type by MRP. Details are-
ROH material with MRP type VB and re-order point (say 100) is defined. Lot size EX & minimum lot size is defined.Procurement type is F.
This ROH material is part of Material BOM. Production order created for this material.
When I am doing MRP run by MD02 & even MD01, in result it shows OrdRes but no PR.
MD20 is carried out for ROH material (NETCH & NETPL are maintained)
Pls help.

Hi Anupam/ Suhas
I did changed EX to FX, and I am able to see PR as you can see below(MD04 screen details).
20.05.2010     Stock                                                            0      0
21.05.2010     OrdRes     PP15100                                    5-     5-
22.05.2010     PurRqs     0010000670/00010               150      145
22.05.2010     OrdRes     PP25100                                    1-     144
22.05.2010     OrdRes     PP35100                                    150-     6-
I generated req. of 5, as fixed lot size is 150 a PR of 150 is created. There was one more Prod order of qty.1. I again created prod order of qty 150 in it but in this case no PR got generated, eventhough it is below reorder point.

  • MM02 and BAPI - doesn't work for ROH materials

    Hi all,
I use function BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA to change planned price 1 and planned price date 1 for materials. It works fine for some material types, but not for ROH,  though I've got the same return message for all of them that change is successful. Have you any ideas why?
When I change these fields manually in MM02 then I have no problems.

  • CK40N for ROH materials

    Dear Experts,
Our company's scenario is: Active ML, Price control: S ; We did cost estimate for all raw materials using t-code:ck40n, why have to do ck40n to raw materil since it doesn't have BOM, what if we ignore this step, what the impacts it will be?
    Thanks

    Hi
In ML, it is good if price control is S for all materials as per SAP recommendation..
Once you have S, you need to have std cost in place for them... For raw materials, you can release cost from CK40N or maintain from MR21... The output is one and the same
If you do not do any of these, then your GR, GI and all material movements will happen at zero value
For FG/SFG which have BOM & Routings - Release  cost from CK40N... For raw materials - You can choose between CK40N or Mr21

  • Automatic MRP could not work for several materials

    Dear Expert,
I have problem here in running MRP. Some of the materials were not automatically running MRP. While when I tried to run it manually using MD01 it works.
May be u can give me some idea why? When I tried to check the setting, i found in the table all the materials with complete status KCVDLSBGZXA are not automatically running MRP.
Is it because of that complete status setting? if yes where could i found that setting ?
    Thanks
    Pauline

    Paulin,
MRP relevant changes can be new procrument proposel, changes done in MRP view of material, changes in qunatity for re-order planning relevant materials etc.
MRP will not done untill and unless you have entry of materials in planning files.
i am not agree with you on the point that auto MRP is running for the material for which there is no planning file entry.
another things is please , provide details of material master like MRP type etc for the material for which planning file entry is there but MRP is not considering it.
another question is , what result you are expecting after MRP run ....? i mean how you come to a conclusion that MRP is not run for few of the materils but its done sucessfully for other materials ......?
please check it again and reply.

  • How to set up automatic payment for the purchase order

    Hi, All,
I have one question how to set up automatically payment for the Rent Office purchase Order?
There is the requirement from the client. They want to create one kind of purchase order for the Office Rent, then pay the fees in the certain time of every month to the vendor for the rent fees without any invoice. Whatu2019s the normal solution for this kind of purchase order? Is it ERS? Or something else?
Please give me the details and business flow. Also please tell me how to setup in the SAP and T-code.
    Thanks in advance

Either you can set up ERS or you can pay directly from the FI side.
    Prerequisites
Evaluated receipt settlement must be flagged in the purchase order item.
The vendor must be flagged as being subject to ERS in the vendor master record.
The goods receipt must refer to a purchase order.
Goods-receipt-based Invoice Verification must be defined for the purchase order item.
A tax code must have been maintained in the purchase order item.
The order price of the materials may not be an estimated price.
If you flag a vendor as being subject to ERS, the system sets the ERS indicator as a default in each item when you create a purchase order for the vendor. You can prevent this happening for certain vendors by flagging the info record for the material and the vendor as not being subject to ERS.
In Purchasing, you can delete the default ERS indicator in a purchase order item.
Choose Logistics Invoice Verification ® Automatic Settlement ® Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS).
    The selection screen appears.
You can use the following criteria to narrow down selection of the transactions to be settled:
    Company code
    Plant
    Goods receipt posting date
    Goods receipt document
Fiscal year of the goods receipt
    Vendor
    Purchase order and order item
You can define the selection criteria for the invoice documents by:
    Delivery
    Purchase order
    Purchase order item
    Goods receipt document
    Credit memo
    Invoice
    Currency
    Choose  Execute.
The system issues a log for Evaluated Receipt Settlement, which displays the following:
    Settled
In line with your selection criteria, the system displays all the order items that were settled (or if you are working in test mode, which would have been settled).
    Could not be settled
In line with your selection criteria, the system displays all order items for which ERS is defined but could not be settled. It also lists the reasons.
If the system reports being unable to invoice a transaction, you should exclude the transaction from ERS to avoid it being included in the log the next time ERS is run.
Select the item and choose Exclude from ERS.
The system also generates and possibly sends a message to inform the vendor(s) about the transaction settled, depending on the settings in Customizing.
You can display the following environment information for the order items selected. To do this, choose Goto ®:
    Display purchase order
    Display invoice
    Display material document
    Display long text

  • Standard Report to check consumption values for multiple materials

    Hi,
Is there any standard report to check "consumption" values for multiple materials? The user needs to check the consumption values over a period of time for multiple materials (VERP, ROH) before deciding the re-order and safety stock values for them. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Dear Swapnil,
Report MCRE is widely used for the material cosnumption than checking in COOIS.

  • Info Record Not Appearing for all materials in classic scenario.

    HI ALL,
I am working on Classic Scenario and all the follow-on documents are getting created properly. But the problem is With SOS. Currently i am able to view the info record for only one of my material, I am also referring backend contracts through vendor list. The contracts are visible in SOS.
Can somebody pls put a light as to why for other materials the info records is not displayed in SOS, is there a report which has to be run to get the info record into SRM from ECC. If not then how does the system bring these contracts and info record from ECC to SRM.
I am working on SRM 5.0 and ECC 5.0.
    THANKS AND REGARDS

    Hi
    Please read this as well.
<u>You have created sources of supply. These could be:
-> Contract items in Enterprise Buyer
    -> Vendor-specific prices
For this, you have created Product Linkages in the SRM System with vendor-specific prices via the SAP Menu Master Data -> Products -> Process Products.
-> Entries in the vendor list of Enterprise Buyer
In Customizing you have assigned product categories to which the system is to automatically group requirements and you have scheduled report BP_SC_TRANSFER_GROUPED to run periodically.
For more information, see the Supplier Relationship Management Implementation Guide (IMG): SRM Server -> Sourcing ->  Define Interactive Sourcing for Product Categories.</u>
Sourcing is completely integrated with the global availability check in SAP APO and executes a vendor search. You can activate third-party order processing in the check instructions by choosing how you want the system to start sourcing and which sourcing method you want to use for it. There are two different options here:
&#9675;     If you want the products to be delivered exclusively by external vendors, the system performs sourcing directly at the external vendors without evaluating internal locations. For this, SAP APO requires corresponding purchasing records, delivery plans and contracts that are transferred from SAP ECC.
&#9675;     If you only want to have products delivered by external vendors occasionally, that is to say, if you are unable to deliver the product from your own warehouse stock, choose an ATP profile in which both internal and external vendors are evaluated. In this case, the external vendor is treated like an internal location in SAP APO, and is integrated into location determination in the rule-based availability check.
You can also choose the vendor manually. If you have already specified a vendor as the source of supply in SAP CRM, SAP SCM does not carry out any further sourcing. In this case, SAP SCM merely checks the validity of this vendor and confirms the requirement in its full amount if the vendor is valid.
For more information, see SAP Library for SAP SCM at SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (SAP APO) -> Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP) -> Advanced Availability Check Methods -> Third-Party Order Processing in the Global ATP -> Sourcing in Third-Party Order Processing.

Hy, we have a requirement for delivery process, we have WM and we make picking by RF, and automatic generate items for packaging materials, but one line per pallet and the deliveries have a lot of line items that we want to aggregate in only one line item, instead of having for e.g. 30 lines with one pallet we need to have one line item with quantity 30.

    Hi,
You can very well achieve this by usinh a spilt routine in your copy control from sales document to delivery document.
Goto tcode: VOFM - Data transfer - deliveries.
For this you need to write a routine with the help of  your ABAPer & to include logic something like this:
You have to identify some unique feild in the two material or even the material code itself.
Then in the routine logic, you pass this feilds in the combination criterai field in delivery that is "ZUKRL"
Then in copy control sales doc to delivery: you attach this routine in header details in data transfer "Header Data"
See the code below for your help:
    SELECT SINGLE PRAT1 PRAT2 PRAT3 PRAT4 PRAT5 INTO (MVKE-PRAT1,MVKE-PRAT2,MVKE-PRAT3,MVKE-PRAT4,MVKE-PRAT5) FROM MVKE
                      WHERE MATNR = CVBAP-MATNR
                      AND   VKORG = CVBAK-VKORG
                      AND   VTWEG = CVBAK-VTWEG.
    IF NOT MVKE-PRAT1 IS INITIAL.
    ZUK1-C+0(1) = 'O'.  "FOR OIL

  • Automatic PO for Mvt type 101 & 161

    Hi All,
I need to creates Automatic PO for Goods Receipt with movement type 101 & 161.
I have set Automatic PO check for both the mvt types.
Vendor Master & Material Master has Auto PO check.
Let me know how do i use 101 mvt type, which T-code should i use.
    Regards
    Raghavendra

    Hi,
Follow these steps for autopo at GR
    1. OMJJ - Activate "Atuomatic PO" indicator for movement type 101,161
    2. SPRO > Enterprise Structure > Assignment > Materials Management > Assign standard purchasing organization to plant
    3. SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Define Default Values for Document Type > Assign PO DOcument Type for e.g. "NB" to TCode "MB01"
    4. MM02 - Under "Purchasing" view of Material, activate "Auto PO" indicator.
    5. XK02 - Under "Purchasing Data" Screen of Vendor, activate "Auto PO" indicator.
    6. ME11 - Create Purchase Info Record for Material and Vendor combination under Plant and Purchase org.
    7. MIGO - Choose Goods Receipt-PO,Than go to the Plus(+) icon in document overview of MIGO screen and click on that.Than fill up the material code ,Plant code and quantity etc as is being done in normal GR. Also fill up the vendor code against whom Auto PO check has been done .Also choose the movement type as per your requirement. Than save . Now the PO will be generated in the background.

  • Purchase requisitions for  raw materials

Iam having multilevel BOM and when I do Sales order MRP then Iam getting planned order for Semi finished items but not getting Purchase requisitions for  raw materials.

    Hi,
    Planing File Entry :-
The planning file is used to limit the scope of the planning run for the
total planning run. For this purpose, all materials that have been
assigned a valid MRP type are automatically entered in the planning
    file.
System will check the Planing file entry only in the case of Total MRP (MD01) or Total MPS (MD40).
While there is no need in the case of MD02,MD03,MD41,MD42,MD50.
Now how this Planing File entry activates,
    - Once MRP is activated at Plant level (T.code OMDU)system automatically maintains entry in Planning file for all those materials which contains the Active MRP type.
    - So if materials which are created before this activation of MRP in that case you have to maintain this planing file entry manual. You can do this either by MD20 or by using Back Ground Jon OMD0.

  • Material Ledger Status for exisitng materials change

    Hi,
What is the best way to perform material ledger closing entries for pre-existing materials in plant?
I have a plant that already has pre-exisiting materials since 01/2009 or prior, and then we activated material ledger for this plant.
Of course, we then try to run actual costing CKMLCP for these existing materials for period 05/2010, and is errored with
"carry-out period-end closing for materials in previous period" message.  I try OSS note 361236 to close out periods that are older than previous period..with the MMPV period shift situation; but is not helping because these materials are already existing, so I can have CKM3 analysis for these materials as far back as 01/2006...as I ran report S_ALR_87013180 to check the period status for all these materials to see how far do i have to go back in terms of period/fiscal yr.
My question is, if there are pre-existing materials active in the plant and then we activated ML, how far do I have to go back to get the CKMLCP done? Or what is the best way to handle such scenarios?
    any advice?

    Hey,
Can you let me know when did you do the ML startup?
At production start, the system automatically sets all materials to price determination control 2, which will not be included in ckmlcp processing.
And when you change the price determination from 2 to 3 via CKMM, the period status will be automatically changed to "new object", for which there's no need to do the period end closing.
Anyway, if your materials is with status 30 for the previous periods, the most convenient solution is to manually set it to 70 for the last period. You may achieve this via program MLHELP_SET_PP_STATUS_70. You only need to do it for the period before last period. Then you can go ahead with the normal period end closing process for the previous period.

  • MRP run for dependent materials

    Dear All,
Could please give me solution for this below scenario.
My Client wants to run the MRP for dependent material. For example, there are certain material which needs other material also for their application. Material X is leading material and Materil Y is dependent material for material X. one pc of X is made up of 10 pc of Y material.
Now we want that system automatically runs the MRP not only for leading material but also for dependent materials. ( Even if the reorder level for dependent material is not reached)
    PLEASE GIVE ME SOLUTION
    Thanks.
    Vineet Dhawan

    Hi
Please maintaint the Bill of material in transactio code CS01 for dependent material X. Maintain the material Y as child material with 10 nos, choose L- stock type.
Ensure the procurement type is F and speical procurement type is 30 in case of subcontracting. also ensure right validity periods.
If the material X is a finished goods, while planning for Material X, subsequently the  child material Y also will be planned.
Execute MRP, with requirements for Material X , it will explode for material Y.
If reorder point is not reached in consumption based planning, the material will not be planned.
    hope this helps

  • Profit center determination for vendor materials with outsourcing

    Hello,
We maintained a material with a profit center. This material is bought from a supplier, but in order to do so we deliver him the raw materials. For both materials we have the same profit center. Everything goes wel in the masterdata and PO. After posting the MIGO the profit center of the to the suppl;ier delivered material changes automatically to 999.
    See attached print screen.

    Hi,
What is 999? if it a dummy PC or a Non Dummy PC?
I believe, your MIGO is posting to a CO object (Account assigned P.O.)
where in either the PC 999 is assigned OR No PC is assigned (999 being dummy PC)
