Automatic reorder level change when executing it twice

Hi,
When I create forecasting view I only fill the forecast model “automatic” and selection procedure “2”, after the first run some additional settings are fill by the system (model selection, optimization level, alpha factor, delta factor)  and if I run forecast again the values (reorder level) change from the first forecast value. Regading to this when executing in mass mode should i do it twice in order to get a more accurate forecast value or should I fulfill more values in forecast view and obtain the same reorder level even if a excute it twice.
Thanks
Jorge G

  • Level change when adding audio keyframes

    Hi all,
I've been in Avid Land for the last few months and just came back and noticed something that was getting on my nerves when I left (I don't recall seeing this before FCP 6). When I add keyframes to my audio levels with the pen tool, I get a keyframe, but at the same time, it lowers my level as if I had added a keyframe and then dragged it down. As far as I can tell it does this every time.
Does anyone know what this is about?
    Thanks,
    Matt

I was having this problem, so just before I composed this reply I did some tests. It could well be 'sloppy mouse work' but I don't think so. This time the audio level went up by 1 db but before it was dropping by 1 db when adding a keyframe. During the test, no matter how accurate I was the audio level changed when adding a keyframe. The track I was working on was enlarge somewhat and the problem didn't happen on standard sized tracks. I feel that this has to be some sort of bug.
I have always found FCP a little bit on the 'accurate' side. You have to be very precise when clicking on items otherwise you will miss. Some buttons are way too small and I think Apple could improve the FCP workflow by enlarging some buttons and allowing more space around clickable items.
A good example of this is the 3 way colour corrector. The left and right buttons for blacks/mids/whites are very hard to hit and I quite often hit the maximum by mistake.
I have worked on many non-linear systems and FCP is the only one where mouse accuracy is so important.
I am, to some extent used to this now and I suppose it is a minor inconvenience in comparison to the benefits of using FCP but, in the interests of improvement and ease of use it would be good if Apple could take this onboard.
    Weenie.

  • Report Output Changed when Executed in Background

    Hi Guys,
I have generated a report, which when executed online displays
    four records.
But when i am executing the same report in background by generating a spool,my output is changed, such as third record is missing and i am getting only three records.
In the place of the third record an empty line is displayed.
    whats the reason for it?
Can anyone help me in this regard.

    Hey Aparna,
I have a report which has more than 400 characters in width. When I execute the report in background, I dont have a printing format of more than 255 characters. Therefore the generated spool has only 255 characters.
How can I get the complete spool? Is there a way to define printing format or any other T-Code to print the generated spool?
    Regards,
    Anosh

  • ProRes and level change when I play

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when I capture at any of the ProRes settings, (proxy, LT, or 422) there is a level change between the footage parked and when it is playing. I thought it was the Gamma correction Auto/none setting, but that doesn't make any difference. I'm capturing from a Panasonic HD1400 via firewire. When I capture at DVCPro HD there is no shift. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not making any critical judgements of the footage this way, I just don't want it to change so drastically while I'm editing, particularly when DVCPRO HD doesn't do this. I guess one choice (from the school of Dr. it hurts when I do this...) would be just to continue editing in DVCPRO HD, but I wanted to be able to use the ProRes proxy for rough cuts, as OfflineRT looks really bad.

  • Opacity level changing when exporting text with alpha

    Hello,
I am hoping someone can shed some light on what is happening with my opacity levels when exporting text with an alpha.  I have animated text where some words are black at 50% opacity and some words are white at full opacity.  They are on a textured background.  I need to give the other editors a version of the text married to the background and one that is just text with an alpha.  When I export it and bring it into Premiere, the "married" version looks fine, but the black in the version of the text with alpha appears more transparent.  I can fix this by changing the blend mode to Hard Light or Luminosity, but this alters the color of the white text slightly (and I should note that the blend mode in AE was normal).  I can of course work around this by exporting my black and white text separately, but I was hoping someone might know why this is happening.
I am working on AE CC (ver12) and Premiere CC (ver7)
    Thank you!

    Rick, I am judging visually.
I have since taken the cue from Mylenium, and I think the problem has to do with the fact that AE's default opacity is not linear and Premiere's is.  When I change the sequence settings of Premiere and uncheck "Composite in Linear Color" the blacks of my clips match.  Similarly when I change my Project Settings in AE and check "Linearize Working Space" the blacks appear lighter as they did when with the text only clip in Premiere.  Since I am working with other editors that are using Premiere, I assume I should change the settings in After Effects to match Premiere (linear).  Unless there is any reason I shouldn't do that?
    Thank you,
    -Keri

  • MRP min max reorder level changes

    Hi All,
I wonder if anyone could please help.
We are experiencing some issues with the setting of min/max levels for material masters.  Does anyone know how I could get a change log to show changes to the material master MRP settings?
    Thank you
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
You can see change log for material master through TCode MM04.
On the MM04 screen you can enter the selection parameters - Material / Plant / Sales Organization / Distribution Channel, Warehouse Number / Storage Type etc.,
If you have a specific SAP userid whom you think might have done the change then you can enter in the Changed by Field.
       Then click on Execute button.
In the next screen, select required line and click on details button to see the Old value and the new value data.
      Hope this helps.
    With Best Regards,

  • How to generate checks when executing Automatic Payment Program (F110)

Is it possible to generate checks automatically when I execute the automatic payment program? Will reward points to any suggestion. Thanks!

    hi patrick
    try this.....ur problem may solve.....
    Create Automatic Payment Transactions (F110)
    Purpose
Use this procedure to generate checks proposals or ACH proposals and then subsequently issue checks or set up ACH files to be transmitted to the bank.
    Trigger
Perform this procedure when through either an ACH or a check, a creditor of the University needs to be paid.
    Prerequisites
Open invoices with reached due dates have to be present in the SAP system.
    Menu Path
Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:
    ·         Select Accounting  Financial Accounting  Accounts Payable  Periodic processing  Payments to go to the Automatic Payment Transactions: Status screen.
    Transaction Code
    F110
    Business Process Information
The automatic payment process will be centrally managed in the Accounts Payable Office. The automatic payment program will be executed each day for all open invoices (across vendors) in the system. There will be separate payment run execution corresponding to each payment method category:
Check payments: clears the open invoices and issues a check output
ACH payments: clears the open invoices and issues an ACH file output
Foreign currency payments: clears open invoices but no output is issued
State/Grant payments: clears open invoices but no output is issued
The process steps executed during the automatic payment program are:
    Enter Payment Parameters
    Edit/review Payment Proposal
    Post Payments
Generate Payment Medium (print checks or create ACH payment file)
    Generate Positive Payment File
The payment parameters are entered in order to limit the open invoices and credits selected for payment. It is important to note that the payment terms that are defined on the invoice will drive whether a invoice is due for payment during the current payment run. During the payment program execution, the invoices that are due for payment will be presented to the user on a payment proposal list.
The payment proposal is a list of expected payments grouped by vendor account. Invoices that are due for payment but cannot be paid due to some kind of accounting or system error are listed as exceptions. Examples of typical exceptions are missing banking information (for ACH payments) and blocked invoices. Some payment exceptions will be resolved at the Accounts Payable Office. However the Department must resolve some exceptions. When these types of exceptions appear on the payment proposals, the Accounts Payable Office will inform the Department of the blocked payment in order to get a resolution. Key personnel in the Accounts Payable Office will be the only resources to have access to the editing function of the payment proposal processing. Typically, there is no business reason the edit or change a payment proposal. Editing options for a payment proposal includes: changing the default disbursing bank account information or changing the payment method.
After the payment proposals have been reviewed and edited, the proposals are posted as payments. It is important to note that any open credit on the vendor's account is also taken in consideration when creating the vendor's payment. The payment method supplement defined on the invoice will drive the check sorting.
In addition to the printed check output, the payment program run produces an ACH file and a Positive Pay file. Both files are sent to the bank for further processing. The ACH file contains the vendor's payment and banking data. The Positive Pay file contains the check data (check processed, voided, etc) and is used for confirmation of payments.

  • Clear IDOC creation when only header level changes are made ME22N.

    Hi All,
when the PO is  on changed in the header level only(for example header texts and header code)  and when we execute RSNAST00 one BADI getts triggered which checks if the Item category is 9 and  badi will clear the IDOC creation.
If the PO item category is = 9, the IDOC must not be created. This badi works fine if the changes are made at
    1)at Item level
2)both header level and Item level
In case of 1 and 2 we have both header segment E1EDK01 and item segments E1EDP01.As a result it checks for the item category in the item segment.so idoc is not created.
3)BADI is not working when the changes are made at the header level only. The IDOC is getting created even though the PO has the item category as 9.
I found in this case only header segments are availble while debugging and the item segments are not there to check the condition for the item category.
Please any one can suggest me possible solutions to  clear idoc creation when only header level changes are made ME22N.
The BADI used is as below.
      DATA : lwa_data TYPE edidd.
      DATA : lw_dp01 TYPE e1edp01.
      DATA : lwa_control TYPE edidc.
      CHECK idoc_control-rcvprn = '3PL' AND idoc_control-idoctp = 'ORDERS05'.
      LOOP AT idoc_data INTO lwa_data.
        IF lwa_data-segnam = 'E1EDP01'.
          lw_dp01 = lwa_data-sdata.
          IF lw_dp01-pstyp = '9'.
            CLEAR create_idoc.
          ENDIF.
        ENDIF.
      ENDLOOP.
    ENDMETHO
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi all,
Is there  any way that I can get the item category details when Only header level changes are made to the PO in ME22N and only header segments are available in the IDOC.
Is this possible:- Fetch the po number and item category details from ekpo table that matches with  the header segment po number and then check for item category value  to clear the idoc creation?
    Any information is helpfull.

  • I want the system automatic update my UDFs when the OnHand was changed.

I added two UDFs in table OITW to count the warehouse OnHand by CASES and Bottles. I want the system automatic update my UDFs when the OnHand was changed.  Is there any way I can do it in database level instead in the application (too much places involved).

There is few ways how to do this:
    - triger as David said, but I dont recomend it through SAP policy
    - in stored procedure transaction notification  by adding or updating document update your user field
    - create job in SQL server which in specific interval recalculate the changes of onhand and update your user defined field
    - create addon which will be over functiuonalities which may change the onhand value
I think that from SAP is possible only Addon, but the easist way is trigger and if you dont need it just in time but for example every 10 seccond, the better is job which cannot fail the standard SBO transaction (triger may and may be unsafe).
    Hope it helps

  • Is the transaction log is changed when i execute select statemetns

    hello
i want to ask about updateing the transaction log: is it modified when a select statement is executed
is it changed when update, delete or insert statements are executed ?

In general SELECT statement don't write redo but if you use SELECT with FOR UPDATE clause, then redo is generated and written to redo logs or in special cases like delayed block cleanout. INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE write redo, yes.
Note that Oracle right name to use is redo log and not transaction log which a Sybase/MS SQL Server concept.

  • F110: Regulate the usage of UPD when executing automatic payment

    Hi all,
Thank you for your advice always.
Did anyone have a know-how to regulate the usage of UPD, when executing automatic payment?
At first, the program uses a BGD process in the application server specified in "target computer", but it seems to submit tasks to UPD process in all application servers. As a result, all UPD processes are occupied, and other tasks become unprocessed.
Additional info: in our environment, end users usually logon through logon group over four application servers. Do you think we can solve this problem by asking end users to logon to the specific application server?
Otherwise, I assume there will be two approaches for this problem.
One is to execute automatic payment carefully in order to avoid long time occupation of the UPD processes, even if we can not stop UPD processes being occupied for some time. Currently in our system, UPD processes are occupied for long time (e.g. 1 hour) Another approach is to regulate the usage of UPD as I wrote above. It's approach from the Basis system administration.
Any comment will be very appreciated.

    Hi all,
Thank you for your advice always.

  • Automatic adjustments get duplicated when consolidating twice

    Hi everybody,
We are getting a wired result when executing consolidation.
Right now we have only implemented the stock holder equities elimination and when we execute currency conversion and consolidation Script for the first time the result is correct, the elimination gets done properly.
But if we execute again the consolidation process, the elimination gets duplicated instead of deleting the first elimination and doing it again, the system adds the results so if the result of the elimination is 1000 after executing the process twice the result is 2000 and so on....
Has anyone expected this issue or can tell us whether this is normal or not??
Thanks in advance for your help or suggestions! Best regards!

    Hi Jorge,
We have exactly the same problem...
Did you manage to solve it?? If so can you share the solution please?
    Thanks in advance.
