Automatical creation of activities with attached document

Hello,
I want to create activities with an attached document, but that should work automatically. I just have the bp-numbers for creating the new activities , and for attaching the documents, the documentname is equal the bp-number. Now I should now how to do this in crm ?
Are there some programms/bapis etc.

First configure Release Statergy such that All PR's generated from MRP should be converted into PO  with out Release Procedure  and Other manually generated PRs should be converted in to PO after Release Procedure only......( For that you have to create Doc.type as a one charecter....Table: CEBAN...Field: BSART  and MRP generated PRs should have one document type and Other manually created PRs should have diff. Doc. type)
Then follow the below steps..
1)In Material Master,Purchasing view....you maintain Purchasing Group and Check Auto PO Check Box.
2)In Vendor Master,Purchasing Date view Maintain Purchasing group and check Auto PO Check Box..
3)Maintain Proper  PIR with Valid Conditions
Then after creation of PR from MRP...assign source for the PRs IN ME57..
If you configure release Statergy  such that PRs generated thro MRP need not under go Release procedure ....then go to T.Code: ME59  and convert all PRs in to PO...
In this way without having any user exit you can solve your problem...We are doing in this way only..

    I've found a problem with attached documents in Mail. In fact, if I click on attached documents with .doc (microsoft office word 97-2004) and files in .docx Office Open .xml, the iPad doesn't open them, also if I click in "Open with Docs To Go (which should support these files' format)".
    How can I do? There's an application or another way to open these files?

  • Automatic Archiving without losing the attached document ?

    Hi Experts,
    I wanted to go ahead with retention period so that documents will get auto archived after retention period.
    But since my last post (and your expert opinion), I understood that there is nothing like Retention period in DMS.
    If we want to achieve the mention functionality ...we need to do some developments.
    Now lets say I deletes the required documents with the help of program or CV04N...my next job is to archive the deleted (marked for deletion) documents....AUTOMATICALLY.
    2nd thing is after archival I should be able to see my attached document with DIR when I retrieve the archived DIR.

    Archiving is in itself a separate engagement which needs planning.You can move the data to an external offline system bearing in mind the statutory data retention rules. You can also store the archived data on tapes or optical devices depending on the frequency of access.

  • Report to link invoices with attached documents

    I am trying to spool a report from the oracle back end, for some senior staff at my organisation. The report would contain approved invoices along with their electronically attached documents. I have a similar query that works( see below) the problem is this query only accurately ties invoice ID's(PK1_Value) for invoices that were created using "AP_INVOICES" enitity_name, but majority of our users dont have the payables responsibility and hence can only create using the "AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE" enitity_name, and I cant tie the PK1_VALUE in the fnd_attached_documents table to the invoice ID, Please I need urgent help to locate (a) what PK1_VALUE is being used by AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE (b) How I can reference INVOICE_ID with that value.

  • Document Distribution with attached documents coming across in BIN format

    Hello all,
    I have 3 dist types defined in the system.  RML, RMA, and INT
    RMA sends to SAP Office and includes a link to the document defined in DMS and seems to work correctly.
    RML sends the document to SAP Office as an attachment but the attached documents always is in BIN format and cannot be opened by the application.
    INT sends to my external email but has the same problem as above, the attachment is always in a BIN format and cannot be opened.
    This works the same with several different applications in DMS, Word, Excel, Text Files, etc.
    Can anyone give me an idea what I may be missing in config that is keeping this from working correctly.  We are running SAP ECC 6.0

    Please check the following customizing in your system:
    1) Please check you have maintained suitable length of syntax group for
    Windows NT. Please maintain it more than 20.
    Please proceed as follows to correct this entry:
    Run the tcode SPRO
    Implementation Guide for R/3 Customizing (IMG)
    Cross-Application Components
      Document Management System
       Document Distribution
        General Settings
         Platform-Independent File Names
          Maintain file names and file paths across all clients
           Syntax group definition
    2) Please check the 'File processing' value for distribution type 'INT'.
    Please set it as '2'.
    Further please check note 355048 and as mentioned your settings in transaction DC30 for the workstation applications.

    Hi,
    First of all you should maintain transaction OMS2 to allow quantity & value update for the material type & valuation area
    otherwise it is not relevant for material ledger.
    Regarding how you have to activate the split valuation for a material, please keep in mind the following:
    if no valuation category has been assigned to a material (MBEW-BWTTY is blank), and you wish to assign multiple valuation
    categories (split valuation) to this material, then the material must not have linked documents and the stock must be zero for both
    the current and previous periods.
    If you make an attempt to assign a valuation category for this material, error message M3194 will be raised.
    Please check the attached note 30656 concerning limitations associated with changing the valuation category.
    Please also check note 155874, which outlines what must be performed in order to change the valuation category.

    Hi Experts,
    I need to attached to my organizational business structure (in Tx SOLAR01 and SOLAR02) many templates documents of functional and technical specifications and have a problem with that.
    When I make the solar_project_admin transaction and click onto project template buttom to create a personal document the system gives me a warning message:
    "Documentation types in SAP namespace cannot be copied
    Message no. SPROJECT371
    Diagnosis
    You tried to copy documentation types in the SAP namespace into the template. This is not possible.
    System Response
    The documentation types were not copied."
    Could you please tell me how can I create my own document (SOLAR01 Y SOLAR02) to attached onto the structure?.

  • Automatic mail in JSP with attachment

    I am having a problem in my project regarding Automatic mail.
    I have a form in which a user enters his details.
    as soon as user submits the form the entries should be stored in the database and an automatic mail should be send to the administrator(any email ID ) regarding the details of this new user with an attachment that user will select in the form.after tht i have to show a page to the user with a refID corresponding to his entries in the database.this refid is a column in the database (auto integer).
    i have developed the form and have done the DB part ( storing and retrieving the refID) . but i am not able to do the automatic email part.
    I have got form in JSP, its action which stores the data and the output page showing the refid bothin JSPs.i have a Sendmail.java file which can be used for sending automatic mail.but hv no idea how to do this.

    Uh, you already have everything you need, but you don't know how to call your own code or something?
    If you didn't know this already, the JavaMail package can be used to send mails using Java. Search for a tutorial using google.

    Dear Experts,
    we have a customer requirement to create automatically Activities/Tasks if a certain date is reached. The user just want to receive a alarm/note when there is a created acitivitie.
    Which BAdi we casn use for the automatic creation of activities? Which options we have to do that?
    Relevant tables are CRMD_ORDERADM_H and CRMD_ACTIVITY_H as I know.
    Note: We can no use the visit plan.

    Hi Oliver,
    CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN and CRM_ORDER_SAVE are the function modules to create and save a business transaction. As you have the requirement to create Activities, Arden has suggested these function modules(transaction SE37). Based on your business scenario, you can use these FMs in BADI implementations to achieve the functionality.

  • Attached documents cause Mail to quit

    A week ago Mail stated to quit unexpectedly every time I tried to open an email with attached documents, or to send one with attachments. I tried setting up another user and the same email account works fine for the new user. I am not certain if this is significant, but I notice that when in the new user when I go to Mail > Preferences I see the account listed and highlighted, but in my usual user doing the same thing I see no account listed- although when i hit the Edit button in that window it brings up my account details. Any ideas?

    When an application crashes (i.e. quits unexpectedly), the system writes information about the state of the application at the moment of the crash to a log file. That information is called a crash report and makes troubleshooting easier. In order to find and post the relevant part of the crash report here, proceed as follows:
    1. Open ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Mail.crash.log. The whole crash log appears in a Console window (you can also open that file with any text editor). It may contain many crash reports. We only want the latest, which is located at the bottom of the file.
    2. Look for a line that begins with “Date/Time:” as close to the bottom as possible, and another that says “Thread N Crashed:”, where N is a number. Select everything from the “Date/Time:” line to the lines immediately following “Thread N Crashed:”. Copy that text and paste it in your post. Do not post the whole crash log, and do not include anything beyond the lines immediately following “Thread N Crashed:” either, just the relevant part.

  • Attaching document on hierarchy nodes

    Hello,
    I have problems with attaching documents on hierarchy nodes. I have created a hierarchy with only postable nodes. Now it is possible to attach documents on nodes, but here I don't see any practicable option for the users to attach the document on only a node, because when they select a node and want to attach a document, in the selection of the document is this node and all nodes and leafs beneath. So the document would be shown on all nodes beneath.
    Is here a good option for the users to attach documents?
    I also tried to disable the resolve of hierarchy nodes as described in note 627907. Now it is no problem to attach a document on a node, but in the query the document-links aren't shown any more.
    Has anybody any experience with this?

    In Class CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER there is Method CRM_ORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM, which creates the Smartform in CRMD_ORDER.
    You may have your own Z-Version of CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER with a modified Method CRM_ORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM for your own installation requirements.

  • When attaching documents using GOS send them with workflow

    Hello experts,
    I have a scenario. We have to attach documents to SAP application using GOS. These documents can be edited also.
    Now second part is that when we attach the document or edit the document, the document should be send with the work item "when we attach the document".
    The first part of the scenario is completed and working fine. The second part of the scenario is causing problem. I have checked the various options but none of them are proving helpful.
    There is an option in GOS toolbar to send the documents through workflow but that also asks for the related workflow.
    I was trying to create an event for GOS object which can trigger the workflow automatically when the attachment are created and edited but can not go further with it as not so strong in workflow.
    I request you to kindly help me either in creating this event which will trigger the workflow (whole process) or any other method to do the same.

    Thank you for replying. The main problem is starting the workflow. For that I need to create an event and that is my biggest trouble. I have seen the object IFSAP already. There are no events in it and as such I have created my custom object as super type.
    So I need to create the event from scratch.

  • Automatic DIR creation when mailed with Subject

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    We Have a requirement where an user sends a Mail with the subject line as the DIR No (particularly the Document folder No in EDMS) with some document files attached to it,
    The requirement is, based on the mail sent the system should create a DIR in DMS with the attached files placed inside the DIR automatically with out any manual interventions.
    So we can have a list of DIRs created under one folder in DMS.
    Please Explain in detail like how this requirement could be met, if it is an development also throw some light on the methord to be followed.
    There are some scanner interfaces available in the market but we are not sure to go for any third party integration for getting this single requirement fullfilled.
    Points awaiting for usefull suggestions

    The TDMC(Technical Document Management Connectivity) offering allows a customer to connect to their SAP Document Management System (DMS) via MS Outlook. This is achieved using a MS Outlook Plug-in that was developed in C#, which you can modify at the customer's site to include customer-specific information. The second part of this offering is the usage of SAP Enterprise Services (ES), which are standard as of ERP 2005. This offering uses a specific ES called DocumentBulkCreate. The final part of this tool is the SAP DMS itself.
    This tool enables the following:
    - From MS Outlook, the user has a context menu option to work with SAP DMS.
    - By selecting this option, the user is prompted to add additional information about the e-mail (for the
      standard offering the user is prompted for the project number but this can be tailored to the customer
      needs via the C# program).
    - After confirmation, the tool then checks this e-mail into SAP DMS via the ES.
    - This creates a new Document Info Record (DIR) in which:
        1) Information about the e-mail along with any entered information via the prompt is automatically
           placed into the classification of this DIR.
        2) The body of the e-mail is saved as an original within the DIR as a *.txt file.
        3) Any/all attachments are stored as originals separately within the DIR in their original file format 
           (such as *.ppt, *.xls, *.docu2026).
    Within this document, you can expect to find step-by-step instructions on how to implement this toolset using the standard developed version. Some aspects of this implementation can be adapted to support customer-specific needs. Where applicable, the document attempts to point out whether customization of the offering is advised.

    Thanks Jeff, I was not aware that a template could be multi-page.  (All the existing templates were 1 page)
    But it worked, saving me some steps.  When I was finished I renamed the document, and locked it.
    Then tried to save it but  could not because it was locked.  I closed it, went to my Spread Sheet Folder ,
    to find it, it was not there.  The Finder could not find it either.
    So I start over again.
    I opened up Numbers and it showed my personal Numbers template folder, it contained both my new 
    original 4 page template and the vanished saved document!
    I tried to delete the template containing these document data and could not - I had to go to the Library/Application Support/Numbers to physically remove it from this folder. Then I started over again.  I Finally found out how to make it work: I can now "save as", and then lock, and it will go to place where I want it to be saved and locked.
    The secret is: Click on the document title in the menu bar, and it opens up  "Save as...", which works the same as in OS 10.4.11, and you can pick the place you want for saving.  Once done that, you can then lock the document in the same pull down menu, and then close it.
    I also found later that I can delete a template from its folder, by letting Numbers open the templates,
    clicking on the one I want to remove, then go to the "Numbers Menu/File/Move to...", select "Desktop"
    and from there the selected template can then be thrown into the Trash from there.
    It appears now that the real fault of the Numbers software is that the "Save as" command is not available in the "Edit" or "File" pull-down menus, but hidden behind the title of the document.
