Automatically play next flv movie... 5 times

I know how to get a video on the stage and get it to play an
flv, then switch at the end...
vid.contentPath = "MovieName_1.flv";
var vidList : Object = new Object();
vidList.complete = function() {
vid.contentPath = "MovieName_2.flv";
vid.addEventListener ("complete",vidList);
The problem is that I want to go from MovieName_2.flv to
MovieName_3.flv once MovieName_2.flv is done playing...and so on
about 5 times total.
I tried a few workarounds but I am stuck.
Please help.

THAT WORKED!!!!

    Are all songs checked in your playlist?

  • Videos automatically playing next show

    I use my iPad to watch full seasons of tv shows.  In the past month, not exactly sure when, but when I finish a show the iPad is automatically going to the next video in the season and playing it.  It used to go back to the list of videos and let me choose what to play next.
    I'm not sure if this started with one of the IOS updates, I'm on IOS 8.1, haven't updated to 8.1.1 yet.
    I'm thinking there's a setup for this somewhere, just can't find it.....
    thanks ahead....

    Currently, I don't think that there is any way to set it to stop after one video and I think that it is a result of the latest iOS. Unless iOS 8.1.1 fixed it, I would have to think that its a bug unless for some bizarre reason, Apple thought that it made sense to have it work this way. I am running 8.1.1, but I don't watch videos this way, so I have never tested it.
    You can either uodate and see if that fixes it, or I think that this workaround will work until you figure it out or it gets fixed. Pull up the control center and launch the timer app and set it for When Timer Ends>Stop Playing.

  • Only plays 1 album at a time/does not autoplay next album? Other issues

    I use my iTouch to rate songs while on my commute. and I am finding two major problems/bugs since nothing I do seems to prevent them and I can't find any mention of it in the user guides or forums.
    Issue 1) If I am playing a song initiated from Album mode and in the song track view mode (that is, I'm not lookin at the artowrk, but the list of songs on the "back" so that I can rate them and I go Left arrow (top left) back to the white song list, and then go back to the Album view list, it takes me all the way back to the top of the list every time. This is a real pain in the *** when I might have 400 albums and now have to scroll all the way back down to the last album I was playing so that I can get to another album in case i touched the wrong one.
    This leads to huge issue two for me:
    Issue 2) How do I get my itouch to automatically play the next album when the current one is done? Everytime the last song in an album ends, it goes back to the white song selection screen and stops. I want it to continue to the next album and play that song. What am I doing wrong?
    Thnx

  • Movies not automatically playing

    Hello.
    I'm having trouble getting movies to automatically play in my keynote presentations. I'm using Keynote '08 and iMovie '11. I've tried exporting the movies in various formats and at various sizes. Exported through the media browser, exported to my hard drive and imported from there, etc...
    I've gone to the quicktime tab in the inspector and it's not checked off to play on click. I've had it work a couple of times where the movie will play automatically, but can't get it to work anymore.
    Thanks.
    Darren

    If you're publishing to HTML5, you're going to get a play button. You can insert an image to display alongside the play button (so it's not just button on a white field), or you can change the html code to skip the play button. There's an explanation for changing the html at the end of this thread: Re: Can you embed HTML code into a Captivate project?

  • PLAY NEXT MOVIE

    how do i make idvd automatically play the next item in the dvd i tried to create with 7 seperate video files??? please help

    Hi
    As Old Toad writes - or in my words
    Play All Button
    1. There are NO - Play All - button in any version of iDVD
    2. It can be faked in several ways
    • Easiest and most fault proof way is to make a doublet movie containing All and with
    Chapters set to match. It will take up x2 space but is easy to understand and produce.
    • It's said that one can put all movies into a Photo/SlideShow and this will also
    give the function of a Play All button - Tested - and ONE HAS TO un-cheque - Scale pictures else it will be a black frame all around and a small picture !
    Mike Evangelist1
    You might be able to get close to what you want by using a slideshow in iDVD. (It's not widely known, but you can put videos in a slideshow.) If you set the slide duration to manual, playback will pause after each movie/slide, and you can continue with the 'next' button.
    3. Using another program to do this eg. Roxio Toast™ where there is a Play All button option.
    Yours Bengt W

  • Activity Window Shows "Forbidden" When Attempting to Play FLV Movies

    I've noticed a problem for the past few months using both Safari 2 and 3 that when I go to certain web sites with embedded FLV movies, if I click on the movie, I get an error at the bottom of the Safari window that tells me to check the Activity window. When I do, I see that the specific URL for the embedded movie shows a status of "Forbidden." However, if I click on the link to view the movie directly from the source site (not the embedded version), I have no problems. If I try the same thing in Firefox, the embedded movies always play fine. I'm running the latest version of Flash (just downloaded 9.0.115 today) and still have the issue. Any idea why a movie won't play when it's embedded but plays fine if you go to the site directly? What could be causing a response of "Forbidden"?

    Happy Dance!! I purchased a TV Show and it solved everything. I like the product... now, but what a pain all around, with very little direction. Thank goodness for forums like this. What a nice way to outsource your support to you customers! If it helps anyone, this is what I went through to gt everything working across a wireless AirPort Extreme network (iMac source):
    1. Followed instruction out of the box, connected to network fine, established connection to iTunes fine, set up sync fine
    2. Couldn't play any purchased content on ATV (unauthorized), logged in about 5 times on ATV, which is a PITA, no luck
    3. Unplugged ATV, plugged back in, login in was successful
    4. White screen on video, couldn't play purchased music
    5. Purchased TV episode, everything played fine
    Between steps 4 & 5 I also unnecessarily did the following over the course of a day:
    1. Reset ATV
    2. Reset ATV to factory
    3. Removed ATV from iTunes
    4. Deauthorized/reauthorized Tunes
    5. Changes every video setting thinking that it was my TV, as Apple would never release a buggy product in the market
    Anyway, thanks for the hints, as now I'm liking this little piece of gear.

  • HT5295 How can I stop the auto play feature automatically playing/streaming the next podcast?

    How can I stop the auto play feature automatically playing/streaming the next podcast?

    Hi there.
    I listened to podcast there were two things I found that helped me out. Both we're in the podcast app itself.
    Firstly change the default sorting order. When looking at the list off episodes a available on your ios device tap on the description part at the top, this will bring up the settings for that podcast (subscribe mark as played etc) scroll to the Bottom and select oldest first. This will mean that if you are listening to the latest download it will stop at the end as there will be no more to play.
    Secondly, and useful if listening to older podcasts in the list, you can use the timer to stop once the current episode has ended. To do this when you are in the podcast playback screen slide the "album artwork" up, revealing the playback options and nifty tape playing animation this is where you adjust playback speed and set a timer. The timer has a number of options to set playback to stop after set amount of time. However one of these options is to stop once the current episode you are listening to ends. This can also be current chapter if the podcast you are listening to supports chapters.
    Hope this helps, if not clear let me know

  • Automatically playing multiple movies one after another

    I want to put in my DVD and see a menu of 6 separate movie files (ie, I do NOT want to auto play the first movie).
    But when I do click play on the first movie, I want it to automatically go to the 2nd movie and play that, then the 3rd, etc.
    Is this possible?

    Hi cornfellow
    Welcome to apple discussions. If you happen to be working with chapter markers in either FCP or iMovie (version 6 for example) then iDvd has the ability to generate a play all button. But short of this, there is no way I'm aware of within iDVD alone to link different videos together like there is in DVDSP or Roxio Toast. I believe this has been covered a number of times on apple discussions / forums. For example:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1381250
    iDvd does not have a play all check box like Toast does unfortunately (ie, see bottom left corner of image below). As already mentioned above, Toast is likely your best and most affordable option here. But if you have the time and extra money, then I highly recommend learning to use DVDSP also.

  • In iTunes, is there any way to play one song at at time and have the song stop at its end.  I want to play guitar with a track and have that track stop playing rather than going to the next song.

    I want to play a single song in iTunes on my ipad and have the track stop when the song finishes, rather than itunes playing the next track.  I play guitar with the track and need iTunes to stop at the end of the song.
    I have worked around this issue by creating a separate play list for each song, then inserting the song into the play list.  I would like to find a more straight forward solution that would eliminate this extra step.  On my PC, I use QuickTime to bring up an individual song and then can play one track at a time.
    Thanks!

    On the IPod if the shuffle icon is colored blue it is ON, if it is colored white it is OFF. This control is global, if it is ON any album or list will be shuffled.

    How do I get it to just play through all the podcasts that I've downloaded just like my 1st gen?
    Group and order your podcasts to a playlist. Then play them from the playlist.

  • ITunes will only play one song at a time, I can't select an album or artist and have it keep playing the next song.

    I just can't figure out how to keep itunes going.  It plays one song at a time and will not go on to the next.  Do I need to change a setting or something?

    At a guess you've somehow managed to uncheck the entire library. Select the Songs view, the CTRL+click an empty checkbox. All boxes should become checked. If you don't see the checkboxes use Edit > Preferences to enable them.

  • After i have downloaded an album from iCloud to my new macbook pro. Itunes will only play one song at a time. If i hit the fast forward or back button will not do anything. I have to use the mouse to hit the next tidal in the album then hit play for it

    after i have downloaded an album from iCloud to my new macbook pro. Itunes will only play one song at a time. If i hit the fast forward or back button will not do anything. I have to use the mouse to hit the next tidal in the album then hit play for it to play the next song. Or put it in the UP NEXT.

    First, make sure these items have checkmarks next to their names in iTunes. Continuous playback only works on checked items. Itunes will play all checked items in a list whether or not they're from the same album.
    If you see that nothing in your library is checked and you want to check everything, hold down Ctrl while checking an item. This checks everything.
    Next, fixing the "1 of 1" problem is easily. Select all the tracks that make up the book/album. Let's say there are 15. Press Ctrl-I. Doublecheck that the album box is filled in with the name of the book, and if not, type it there. Enter "15" in the box for the total number of tracks. Click OK. Now all the items should be "1 of 15," "2 of 15," and so on.

  • 4 albums purchased from iTunes yesterday have songs not playing all the way through. They play for a period of time and skip to the next song. Everytime they are played. Can anyone help?

    Some songs I purchased last night are not playing all the way through. Several songs from the 4 albums I purchased play for a period of time then just skip to the next song. The songs that do this, do it everytime they are played at the exact same spot. The songs that are affected skip to the next on iTunes on my PC which is updated to the most current iTunes and my 160gb iPod classic. Everytime they are played at the exact same spot. However on my other device, iPhone 4s all songs play just fine. I have almost 7,000 songs on my iPod and this has never happened before and I have played it awhile since downloading those albums yesterday. This is only happening with the albums purchased yesterday. Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong?

    I'm having the same issue with a few songs I just downloaded. It skips randomly in the middle of the song.
