Axis cache the certificate information?
This is a challenging problem:
We have a need to access Axis via HTTPS, so we set certificate information as following in Java code before call Axis:
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStoreType", certType);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", keyStorePath);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", keyStorePassword);
This works right for us after it's called the first time after we start application. However, if I remove certificate information, the call is still successful. Somehow, either Java or Axis remembers the certificate that it uses the first time.
We are using JDK 1.5.0_04 and Axis 1.2.1.
Any suggestion would be welcome!
Hi, you could try to keep in both server and client keystores the CA certificate
I hope it help you

When you go to www.gmail.com and I rightclick on the gray coloured "google.com" showed left next to the address bar then it shows you the certification details. Whe you click on "more info" and then go to the security section it show you how many times you visted the site before. In my case it say`s none, but thats not the case with my friend, his nuber of earlier visits says 13.400 even after deleting cookies/history.
Can someone tell me what this means, and if maybe someone other than himself is watching his email because he`s a bit worried now.A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Import the certificate to establish a trust relationship
Hi ,
In BI Configuration, Bi Diagnostic tool gives the below error.
*Calls from WebAS ABAP to WebAS Java will fail because the certificate of the BI mastersystem is not imported into J2EE ticket keystore
Import the certificate to establish a trust relationship*
Please help
Thanks, SatishAre u having problems importing the certificate ?
If so,
When you are in STRUSTSSO2 and you double clik on "Owner" the below section gets updated with the certificate information. Make sure that the certificate is valid and you have proper CN and OU configured.
When you export the certificate from STRUSTSSO2, please select Base64 as the file format for the certificate that is exported and then try to import that one in the java system.

Are u having problems after importing the certificate on Java system?
If so, what is the error you are facing ?

How can I modify the High Speed Data Reader VI to show the time information in x-axis?
I am just a beginner learning the LabVIEW programming currently.
I have a PXI 6115 DAQ card and have to make a hardware timed acquisition VI for maximum performance. Thus I use the High Speed Data Logger VI for data acquisition.
However, when I read my data by using the High Speed Data Reader VI, it doesn't show its time information in the graph.
How can I modify the High Speed Data Reader VI to show the time information in x-axis?
I hope you can explain easily because I am a beginner.Format the x axis to either absoulte or relative time.
You can do this by right clickingo n the graph and selecting x axis then formatting from the menu.
Thanks,

I'm getting these errors in the eventlog and ULS, "An operation failed because the following certificate has validation errors:\n\nSubject Name: CN=SharePoint Security Token Service, OU=SharePoint, O=Microsoft, C=US\nIssuer Name: CN=SharePoint Root
Authority, OU=SharePoint, O=Microsoft, C=US\nThumbprint: <STS CERTIFICATE THUMBPRINT>\n\nErrors:\n\n RevocationStatusUnknown: The revocation function was unable to check revocation for the certificate."
The errors point to the SharePoint Security Token Service as the issue ("The revocation function was unable to check revocation for the certificate") reported back by the Topology service. This is apparent when executing a search, accessing
the managed metadata service, issuing SPSite commands in Powershell, or anything that needs to run through the "SharePoint Web Services" site. I've looked at the certificate assigned to that site and everything appears to be in order.
It would seem to me to be either an incorrect endpoint configuration (internally cached perhaps?) or related to security access for the configuration database (in order to validate the certificate root).
What I’ve tried so far:
I’ve been all over the certificate settings, both in the server store, and within SharePoint Token Service config. Both appear to be configured correctly such that the root CAs can be validated.
Re-entered the passwords for the application pool domain accounts to eliminate these as a potential cause. I’ve also verified the service accounts reporting the error, do have access to the configuration database.
Re-provisioned the STS service to see if that might clear out any cached issues and validated everything else according to this
MS Tech note.
So far nothing has worked. Is there anything else I could be looking at that I've missed? (Full eventlog detail below)

</Event>Hi Darren,
This problem seems to occur when an administrator deletes the local trust relationship of the farm from the Security section of the Central Administration website
In order to resolve this problem, the local trust relationship has to be created. This can be done by running the following PowerShell commands
$rootCert = (Get-SPCertificateAuthority).RootCertificate
New-SPTrustedRootAuthority -Name "localNew" -Certificate $rootCert
After running the above commands, perform an IISReset on all servers in the farm.

Is there a way to prevent AnyConnect from caching the username of the last person who connected to the VPN?
This can be done via specifying the "RestrictPreferenceCaching" parameter as described in the Anyconnect Admin Guide here:
By design, AnyConnect does not cache sensitive information to disk. Enabling this parameter extends this policy to any type of user information stored in the AnyConnect preferences.
•Credentials—The user name and second user name are not cached.
•Thumbprints—The client and server certificate thumbprints are not cached.
•CredentialsAndThumbprints—Certificate thumbprints and user names are not cached.
•All—No automatic preferences are cached.
•false—All preferences are written to disk (default—behavior consistent with AnyConnect 2.3 and earlier). -
Verification Failed. The certificate for this server is invalid
I am trying to backup my iPad to iCloud. I get:
Verification Failed. The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "setup.icloud.com" which could put your confidential information at risk.
I am logged onto the wifi at work and I can surf the Internet so the connection is OK.
How do I begin to debug this issue?Hey everyone,
I had this issue for few months already! I have a @me.com mail address, theoretically should be compatible with iCloud, just for some reason, it's not working!!
The mail all work fine on my macbook and iPhone, just the ipad kept showing the error message, the "verification failed".
The internet is wi-fi and it all working fine.
Now here is the solution.
Make sure you got internet connected fine.
Go Setting --> Mail, Contacts, Calendars --> Add Account --> Other
--> Add Mail Address -->
in the description, it will auto showing "Me", don't change it!
Go "Next" -->
in the Incoming Mail Server
Host Name --> Type "imap.mail.me.com"
Then your user name and password
in the Outgoing Mail Server
Host Name --> Type "smtp.mail.me.com"
Then your user name and password
Then next and save it.
This should work, it works for me,
Hope this helps!! -
Xcode - "The certificate for this server is invalid"
Hi,
I'm trying to log into my Xcode Server (with it's own self-signed certificate) from my work iMac, I receive the following message:
"The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “[server name]” which could put your confidential information at risk. Would you like to connect to the server anyway?"
The only option is "OK" which just prompts the login screen again, it doesn't allow me to "connect anyway". How do I get around this? :/What account are you trying to access? Skype or some other site and you are being redirected to Skype?

My date, time and time zone are all correct. Any suggestions?What account are you trying to access? Skype or some other site and you are being redirected to Skype?

Yesterday my Firefox seemed to spasm and I believe I had a virus (every time I hit the "home" button which is google.com for me, it would send me to this weird site that I knew wasn't safe). I uninstalled and re-installed Firefox and ran virus scanners but nothing was found. After restarting Firefox, every website that I try to go to is giving me an unsafe error and that I must give each site a security exception, even for safe sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Once I did get on Facebook, everything is in HTML format and I can't use it at all I tried restarting/uninstalling/resetting Firefox again but to no avail. I checked my Firewalls and nothing came up. Here is the data from the troubleshooting information.

Hopefully you can figure something out as I love Firefox but it's very frustrating that I can't use it and that this is happening. I also use Avast! Anti-security but I'm fairly certain that is having no effect on this problem. As I said I've also ran malware and virus scanners but nothing came up harmful.Hello,
Try disabling Avast's web shield and try going to a few safe sites where you experienced the "untrusted connection". You can also follow this article for other common troubleshooting steps: [["This Connection is Untrusted" error message appears - What to do]].
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
* [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/ MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware]
* [http://general-changelog-team.fr/en/downloads/viewdownload/20-outils-de-xplode/2-adwcleaner AdwCleaner] (for more info, see this [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ alternate AdwCleaner download page])
* [http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/default.aspx Microsoft Safety Scanner]
* [http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/disinfection/5350 Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller]
* [http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro/ Hitman Pro]
* [http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/ ESET Online Scanner]
If your home page is has been changed, and you don't have any suspicious extensions:
* Tools (or [[Image: New Fx Menu]]) > Add-ons > Extensions
You can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/ Search Reset Tool] to reset your home page, new tab page, and search bar back to default. The extension then uninstalls itself once these preferences are reset.
Let us know if that helps. -
"The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted" when migrating to SQL 2012
Environment:
1 Primary Site (USSCCM-Site.domain.com)
1 CAS (USSCCM-CAS.domain.com)
SQL 2008 R2 (USSCCM-CAS.domain.com)
SQL 2012 SP1 CU6 (USSQL12.domain.com)
Issue:
We were successfully able to migrate the CAS to the new SQL 2012 server, almost without incident. When attempting to migrate the Site instance however, we are getting errors. Screenshot below.
Attached is a copy of the log. But below is a highlight of what I think are the errors… It appears that either SQL or SCCM doesn’t like a certificate somewhere, but it is contradicting because the logs say that it has successfully tested connection to SQL.
I am lost.

Troubleshooting:
I have read on a few articles of other people having this issue that states to find the certificate on SQL 2012 that’s being used and export it to the SCCM server – which I’ve done.
http://damianflynn.com/2012/08/22/sccm-2012-and-sql-certificates/
http://trevorsullivan.net/2013/05/16/configmgr-2012-sp1-remote-sql-connectivity-problem/
http://scug.be/sccm/2012/09/19/configmgr-2012-rtm-sp1-and-remote-management-points-not-healthy-when-running-configmgr-db-on-a-sql-cluster/
-BradHi,
How about importing certificate in the personal folder under SQL server computer account into SCCM server computer account or SCCM server service account? That certificate is for SQL Server Identification. And you could
set the value of the ForceEncryption option to NO. (SQL Server Configuration Manager->SQL Server Network Configuration->
Protocols for <server instance>->Properties)

Hello,
I have configured BizTalk Services Hybrid Connection between Standard Azure Website and SQL Server 2014 on premise.
Azure Management portal shows the status of Hybrid Connection as established.
However, the website throws an error when trying to open a connection
<
addname="DefaultConnection"
connectionString="Data
Source=machine name;initial catalog=AdventureWorks2012;Uid=demouser;Password=[my password];MultipleActiveResultSets=True"
providerName="System.Data.SqlClient"
/>
(The same website, with the same connection string deployed on SQL Server machine works correctly).
I tried various options with the connections sting (IP address instead of machine name, Trusted_Connection=False, Encrypt=False, etc. the result is the same
[Win32Exception (0x80004005): The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted]
[SqlException (0x80131904): A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.
I tried various machines - on premise and a clean Azure VM with SQL Server and it results in the same error - below full stack

How can I Cache the data I'm reading from a collection of text files in a directory using a TreeMap? Currently my program reads the data from several text files in a directory and the saves that information in a text file called output.txt. I would like to cache this data in order to use it later. How can I do this using the TreeMap Class? These are the keys,values: TreeMap The data I'd like to Cache is (date from the file, time of the file, current time).

File dir = new File(target_dir);
File[] files = dir.listFiles();
// open the Printwriter before your loop
PrintWriter outputStream = new PrintWriter(output);
for (File textfiles : files) {
if (textfiles.isFile() && textfiles.getName().endsWith(".txt")) {
BufferedReader inputStream = null;
// close the outputstream after the loop
outputStream.close();
try {
inputStream = new BufferedReader(new FileReader(textfiles));
String line;
while ((line = inputStream.readLine()) != null) {
System.out.println(line);
// Write Content
outputStream.println(line);
} finally {
if (inputStream != null) {

I don't understand your question.
If you don't know how to use TreeMap why do you think a TreeMap is the correct solution for what you want to do?
If you are just asking how to use TreeMap then there are PLENTY of tutorials on the internet and the Java API provides the methods that area available.
TreeMap (Java Platform SE 7 )
Are you sure you want a map and not a tree instead?

Catastrophic failure -- The Document Information Panel was unable to load
I have a content type that has a document template and a custom document information panel associstaed with it. For most users, these work without issues.
Some users are reporting, however, that they receive the following series of messages when trying to create a new document from the content type:
You are currently working offline.
Here, the user can choose either Try to Connect or Stay Offline.
If the user clicks Try to Connect, the following error message is displayed:
Clicking OK results in the document loading. The DIP loads, but two fields that pull values from a SharePoint list are blank.
Again, this happens for only a handful of users, so it seems like it's an issue with either their local PC or their connection to SharePoint.
So far, I have tried the following:
Repair Office 2010 installation
Removed all locally cached versions of both the document template (.dotx) and the custom DIP (.xsn)
Verified user permissions for the SharePoint site and the SharePoint lookup list
Based on some other posts I've seen, checked to make sure that InfoPath is installed and that IPEDINTL.DLL
is present at
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\1033Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that the Document Information Panel was unable to load.
I recommend to go to the
Document Type Advanced Settings, click Edit template, go to
File, click on Inspect, click on Remove All behind
Custom XML Data.
Here is a similar blog for your reference:
Document Information Panel | Joran Markx
If your list contains lookup columns, you can refer to:
SharePoint:
Document Information Panel fails to load when office documents are opened in a library that contains lookup columns
Document Information Panel cannot open the form

I have tried everything I have found online to get my DigiCert to work.
I have exported the cert and imported it into my child domains and they look perfect.
It is just my parent domain having issues.
netsh winhttp show proxy
does show my correct proxy server for http and https and port 8080
I have tried name, FQDN and IP address.
In the Bypass-list I have tried none, *.domain.com, and a list of all domains and child domains in my forest.
I have flushed the cache
certutil -urlcache crl delete
certutil -urlcache ocsp delete
and rebooted the Exchange 2010 (Windows 2008 R2) server
No matter what, I still see in my Server Configuration for the parent domain's DigiCert cert the message
The certificate status could not be determined because the revocation check failed.
with a red X on the left hand icon. Again, Child domains all say "The certificate is valid for Exchange Server usage."
Note: In spite of having the red X, I was able to assign via EMS the services.
Webmail works fine. Outlook Anywhere fails... I suspect it is due to my red X problem.
Suggestions?
Thanks in Advance
Jim.
Jim.I have contacted DigiCert and they said the cert is working per their utility, hence the problem is outside the scope of their support.
I have followed, several times, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/979694
http://www.digicert.com/help/ reports all is well.
The DigiCertUtil.exe reports all is well and happy.
I have run
netsh winhttp set proxy proxy-server="http=myproxy:8080;https=myproxy:8080" bypass-list="*.mydomain.com"
Current WinHTTP proxy settings:
Proxy Server(s) : http=myproxy:8080;https=myproxy:8080
Bypass List : *.mydomain.com
I have flushed the cache using the commands
certutil -urlcache crl delete
certutil -urlcache ocsp delete
I still see in my Server Configuration for the parent domain's DigiCert cert the message
"The certificate status could not be determined because the revocation check failed."
with a red X on the left hand certificate icon.
To verify the cert via command line:
certutil -verify -urlfetch c:\mail_domain_com.cer
LoadCert(Cert) returned ASN1 bad tag value met. 0x8009310b (ASN: 267)
CertUtil: -verify command FAILED: 0x8009310b (ASN: 267)
CertUtil: ASN1 bad tag value met.
I suspect this is why I cannot get Outlook Anywhere to connect.
Child domains show a happy certificate icon. Parent domain does not.
Still scratching my head.
Thanks all!
Jim.
