B1 2007A PL11 & PL15 - ehp PLD forms

I am trying to find documentation about these new sample forms that are added when upgrading to PL11 & PL15
Is there anything special new etc about them? Does anyone know if there is any documentation about them?  They look interesting.
Thanks in advance
Dana

Dana,
The Enhanced layout is just a change in the look and feel and the way data is presented.

  • Where are pld forms stored

We seem to have lost the pld forms we created in a company database, probably through copy express. They did not do a backup of the database through sql server. I went to a backup (file backup) of the mdf and ldf files (attached as a new database), but it still doesn't have the forms. Is there anything we can do besides re-create all of these forms?
    Thanks

  • Backup a Query Print Layout or PLD form to restore later

How can I backup a PLD or Query Print Layout and save to a drive that will allow me to restore the layouts later on another version of B1?
I am upgrading 2005 to 2007 and during some testing I found the layouts were not saved in it's original form that we created and we had to redo them. I want to be sure I keep the layout as is and only tweak the fields if they have changed at all from 1 version to the next.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Joanne

Oh sure CX will work fine but not across DB versions. I need the format "before" I upgrade the DB....then take those forms and restore them or copy them to the new DB "after" upgrade.
I already tried to copy them across DB versions, no luck.
See I have a Check register using QPL that works great, when I do the upgrade from 2005A to 2007A, the layout goes all out of whack and is not the same as it was in 2005A. I had to redo everything in the layout as if it was created again.
I am trying to avoid that by coping the form someplace and seeing if I can restore it back after the fact, then test it.
    Does that make sense?

  • Vendor Ref. Number from A/P Invoice & Credit Memo in the Check PLD Form

    Hi Guys,
We have standard PLD layout form for the Check Document. In our case the Check Document based on the outgoing payment and outgoing payment referenced on A/P Invoice and Credit Memo documents.
Is there someone who knows how to get "Vendor Ref. Number" (NumAtCard) field from A/P Invoice and Credit Memo in the Cheque form?
    Any ideas will be appreciated.
    Thanks so much,
    Sergey

    Hi Nagarajan,
Thanks a lot for your answer! Yes, you are absolutely right, the variable number for this field was #100.
Unfortunately, this solution worked partially for us. In our case, we also needed to specify a "Document Date" (Tax Date) for the ref. document and there was a problem, because we could not find SAP variable number for this (I don't know if this exists?)
In the final, I just related "OJDT" to "VPM2" table and after that I have got my "TaxDate" field.
    So we are good now.
In addition, maybe you know where can I get a variable numbers catalogue or something like that?
    Thanks,
    Sergey

  • Overflow in PLD Forms

I have a PLD derived from the Advice/Delivery Note, everything seems fine, but when I have above 20 items with some text attached, the text overflows to the second page. Is the a way of setting up the overflow line number or making sure that the item code goes to the second page too. There is ample space, but cannot work out why the overflow occurs.

    Hi,
You can  try changing the Properties - Format -
Duplicate Repetitive Area - Lines in Repetitive Area set to 10 or any value.
This will limit loading items up to 10 then will display second page for next value.
    Thanks.

  • 1099 Form - Misc doesn't print 2 forms per page.

The 2007A PLD form that we have prints only 1 form per page.  The 1099 forms that we have for MISC have 2 'forms' per page.  I have tried scaling the size of the repetitive area so 2 vendors print per page, but I am unsuccessful.  How does PLD know how many vendors (1099's) to print per page?

Our organization is having this issue with the new Adobe forms that were released. The 1099 smartforms print 2 forms per page but the 1099 adobe forms are only printing 1 form per the OSS  note that was just released - Note: 1949022. Is there somewhere in config that we can select to print 2 per page?
We are using IDWTCERT_US_1099MISC which will print just 1 form per page ( we also had to make some adjustments because the top gets cut off...)
form IDWTCERT_US_1099MISC1 will print 2 forms per page but it is not a new vendor that prints on the form it is a copy of the first on the page
The 1099 Interest adobe form prints 2 per page with IDWTCERT_US_1099INT - this is curious too because the smartform prints 3 forms per page
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Do you know how to resolve it?I am considering putting in a problem report.
    Thank you

  • PLD & Relate To Issue

    All,
I am running 2007 A(8.00.176) SP: 00 PL:35.  I am wanting to display a UDF on Order Item form I created in the BP's Addresses in the Page Header of the PLD form.  I am trying to relate the Ship-To Code to the Business Partner Address.  When I do this I get over 1,200 pages of duplicated items.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Dennis

Yes, it's clearer now, thank you.
I don't think it's possible to achieve this way. What you can do is to create another UDF on the Sales Order and assign a formatted search to display there the value of the BP Addresses UDF respectively.
Then you can display this field from the SO on the layout.

  • Print Layout Designer (PLD) - Displaying Selection Criteria

Does anyone know how to display the selection criteria on a pld form.  Specifically, I would like to display the selected 'Item Property' on the Inventory > Inventory Reports > Items List report.
I noticed on the Inventory > Inventory Reports > Inactive Items report that it displays the Date From selection criteria and the document types selected, but I can't figure out how it is doing this. They are Text fields and I don't see any dependencies.
    Thank You

    Vaughn,
The selection criteria are pre-build to be included on some of the reports and are not on others.  If they are not available on the PLD template you could not add them.

  • PLD Do Not Print Line if field== 'N'

This may have been asked before but I can't find an answer. New to SAP & PLD.
Working with PLD, I have a UDF field in table 'A/R Invoice - Rows' to indicate whether a line should be printed or not, 'U_PrintLine'. I am trying to get this within the Invoice form to be something like this:
    If F_300 == 'N' Then
    Do Not Print Line
    Else Print Line
    EndIf
What is the easiest way of incorporating this with a 'Repetitive Area' of a PLD form?
    Thanks,

I now realize that you want to suppress the whole line of data instead of a LINE. That would be more difficult.
Basically, you may link all fields in the line with a conditional formula F_300 == F_301.
Here F_300 is your UDF and F_301 = 'N'. The formula should be in another field say F_302.

  • 1099 Form table usage

We would like to be able to export the Federal income tax withheld printed on the 1099 form. Upon reviewing the 1099 PLD form, it shows system variable 203 from this field. I tried looking this up in the 'PLD_Vars.xls' from SAP, but it is not listed. Does anyone know what table/field stores this number? Or does anyone have a way of exporting the 1099 form data? We would like to export this so we can submit this to the IRS.

    Lang,
I called the support hotline and they were supposed to look into this and get back to me, but haven't.  We printed the 'summary' and exported that.  It did not have the vendor code, but that is the best we could do.

1099 form is only used in the states.  As we are in Canada, no such form is available.  A suggestion to you is: you can check View - System Information.  The variables' information is showed on the bottom left of your active form screen.  When your cursor is on the field, you may found field name for the variables.

  • PLD Document ID

I would like to display the document (PLD File ID) name on the actual PLD form. Is there a system variable or function that will allow me to do this?

    Hi,
Welcome you post on the forum.
I doubt there is such system variable. You may use the Alt+Click to select all tables to find the right data under RDOC. However, this function is not under SAP support. You may need manual update whenever you upgrade your B1.

  • Observer Dll Version Mismatch

    Hi,
I have a project, which works fine for a client in SAP 2007 PL30.
I'm trying to connect the same project (in debug mode) to another client, who is in 2007A SP00 PL15.
But, I'm getting the error - Observer DLL version mismatch, when I'm trying to connect.
    oCompany.SetSboLoginContext(ocookiecontext)

    'Error
I guess it is something to do with the version of SAPBOUICOM.Dll, SAPBOBSCOM.DLL in my application.
I tried using both as 2007, also I tried using DI as 2005 and UI as 2007.
    Nothing is working.
    Please help me with this.
    Thanks.

    Hi Geetha
To solve this issue please do the following:
    1.  Go to Start -> Run and type in %temp%.
    2.  Locate the folder SM_OBS_DLL .
    3.  Delete this folder (if you cannot delete it rename it)
When you connect again the correct version of the ObserverdLL will be
    downloaded from the SBOCommon Database.

  • DTW, BankKey (missing field)

    Hi everybody,
I would like to import Bank Accounts to Business Partners but I can not find the BankKey field in the DTW.
I have tried to import this bank accounts without this field and the bankkey field in the OCRB table was empty.
    For example:
    ODSC table:
    BankKey: 76
    BankCode: KCPCZ
    BankName: Komercni Centrum Plzen
    Importing:
    BankCode: KCPCZ
    OCRB table:
    BankKey:
    BankCode: KCPCZ
    BankName: Komercni Centrum Plzen
I need to import the BankKey to display the SWIFT code to the A/R invoice's print.
    2007A PL11
    Can anybody help me?
    Thanks,
    M.Z.

    Sir,
Could you send me the info about this?
I am using 2007A PL 42 and cannot populate BankKey (OCRB BankKey).
I have tried using the entries in the BP template - BankCountry, DefaultBankCode, DefaultAccount
and also separately using the BP Bank account template (AccountNo, BankCode, Country).
Same results for both methods - the BP Bank Key field (the OCRB BankKey is empty through DTW, populated if manually enter).
BankKey is NOT part of the interface, can not map to it.
No error when import DTW but I am concerned that there is a different result when use import versus manual entry.
    Thank you,
    Beverly

  • General Ledger Print out

Hi, is there any way to add other field in the Journal to the General Ledger? I found that all fields in the G/L setting are 'System Variable'. But if I change it to database and select a field, it allows me to do so but actually in the print out, the contents don't show up in the G/L.
Is there any other way that I can add field to the G/L other than 'System Variable'?
    Thanks.
    Raymond

    Hi,
where would you add the UDF ? If it is in the journal entry (OJDT or JDT1 tables), the tables are not available in the print layout designer --> general ledger PLD form --> source type database. The nearest is OACT table. If the UDF is n the available tables in the GL report form, you could display the UDF in the GL report.
It would be better to use crystal report or reporting services, also you could use XL reporter, if you need to have special GL report that can display a certain UDF you made in the journal entry or other tables.
