B1i SN: Send Email on Technical Error

Hi experts,
is it possible to send an Email if an technical erro occurs?
Especially for inbound errors!
In my Sceanrios there are often File Inbound Erros because of wrong tags and so on. Therefore it would be nice to get informed if something fails.
Any ideas?
Regards
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,
in B1if you can define a customized error handling for your scenario package.
Please select your deactivated package via Scenarios -> Package design, and click Definitions button.
In the drop down-list, select Error Handling.
In the opening window, please click the Info button to see at which places a customized error handling can be implemented in general.
As prerequisite for such a customized error handling an special "error scenario step" needs to be implemented first, otherwise you cannot select another than "default error handling".
Best regards
Bastian

  • OWA Email Prompt Before Sending Email With Spelling Errors

Looking for a way to configure OWA so that it does not send, or at least prompts you before sending, an email that has spelling errors?
    Thanks

    Hi FaeB,
    Thank you for your question.
Exchange 2013 OWA didn’t  just receive email without any development.
When we send email with spelling error, OWA will display the red line under incorrect word, as the following snapshot:
In snapshot, I make the word of “email” and “error” incorrect.  If we didn’t modify it, OWA will not give another reminder when we send emails.
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
    Best Regard,

  • After upgrade to 10.10, can't send email (SMTP cert. error).  On previous version running on another machine, can still send find.  This new version is missing the "Usual Ports" checkbox option.  Can someone please help?

I just upgraded to 10.10.  On the mail program, one of my accounts is having an issue sending email.  I am getting the following error message:
The certificate for this server is invalid.
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent.
But on another machine running Mavericks, I can still continue to send email.  The same is try from my iPhone 5S.
On that machine running Mavericks the SMTP is configured as SSL and for "Usual Ports" (25, 465, 587) but THIS OPTION IS MISSING ON THE NEW VERSION.  On the new version I have tried configuring the port to 25 and then 465 and 587 with no success.  I have used the Network Utility to see if my provider is blocking me -- it is not.  I have no third-party software on this machine (anti virus).  I can receive email fine.  On the new Yosemitie Mail there are new checkbox options of Automatically check my settings and Allow unsecure connections.  I tried to uncheck SSL for SMTP but then it says it cannot send securely my passowrd and i need to check the option "Allow to send unsecurely".  I did that but the same error message keeps appearing.  So I have tried nearly everything I have been able to, all to no avail.  Please can somebody help?

Thanks for your reply.  Yes, it is a POP account.  Incoming mail is fine.  My port for incoming is also 110.  But the outgoing port should be 587 (or 24, 465 and 587 as on Mavericks' "Usual Ports" option).  I am using the same configuration across three different devices and only the machine running Yosemite is having issues.  I notice in the new version of Mail there is no longer the "Usual Ports" option.  I am not sure this is the culprit or not.  But the fact is no matter how I configure it, it will not send mail for these particular servers.  I have multiple clients and only one is affected, meaning I can send email from other email addresses (different hosting contracts) on Yosemite but on this one particular one I cannot.

  • SSIS 2008 R2 - Send email task with error in body message?

Hi there, I'm newbie to SSIS.
In Control Flow, I've Execute SQL task -> Data Flow Task (wirh some CSV export from SQL task)-> Send email on failure as shown in below screenshot. How can I get FOR ANY error message in
Email Body inside "Send Mail Task- Failure" in case of failure?
I found few articles on the internet but I'm newbie to SSIS and I need some step-by-setp guildeline to do this. Any idea? Many Thanks.

    Hi KM IT,
You can enable logging for the package, and redirect the error message to a text file, and then display the content of the text file in the email message body.
When configuring the logging, you can enable the logging for the entire package or each Control Flow Task. For the step-by-step guidance, please see:
    http://learnsqlwithbru.com/2009/11/26/configure-logging-in-ssis-packages/
Then, in the Send Mail Task, you can configure the "MessageSourceType" property to “File Connection”, and select the log file. Of course, you can attach the log file as an attachment of the email.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

  • I just updated my IPad to iOS 5 and now can not send email. The error message says the server rejects the address which is not true Asti sends on my desktop.

I just updated my iPad to iOS 5 and now can't send email- I have tried the obvious but no luck. Any suggestions?

Usually 'authentication required' means that you need to submit a username (or e-mail address) and password to the e-mail server, when sending a message. This logic is not different between Outlook and Thunderbird, and even with the latest and previous version of Thunderbird.
Of course you can try the previous version again to see if it solves the problem, although you'll be less secure because you would be missing the latest fixes.
If you'd be willing to get back to Thunderbird, say if your frustration level with your new app would increase too much, please see our article [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cannot-send-messages cannot send messages] for further help.
In all other cases I'd appreciate it if you could mark this as answer so we know you don't need further help.

  • When trying to send email, I get error message, rejected by server

Our companies webhosting and email are through Bluehost.  I have set up email on my iPhone and it receives email just fine, but when i try to send I get "recipient rejected by server" error.  How can I fix this.  i have tried everything i know to do.

most of the time the problem is the settings of the out going server of your email account. Call your internet provideer and ask them for the right settings, or do a research on google for those

  • Send emails when workflow error arrives

Hello, I know that it is possible to have an e-mail sent to a useru2019s outlook inbox when they receive a workflow error but I am not sure how I should configure this. (This would be for more than 1 person for an individual workflow error, assigned GUID to the related position).
Any assistance would be really appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Andrea

Just an entry in SU01, cannot not solve your problem neither it can an email. What type of error messages are you getting in the user's inbox? First of all, why they are getting these error messages as WI in their inbox? Is it WI or just a message? To push WI to the outlook, scehdule the report RSWUWFML2 and if it is SRM, RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP. SAP cannot simply create an email for the WI received in the user's inbox. You need to do customization in the required WF.

  • ODI send email with latest error file attachment

We have kick-out/error file with the format *err.txt. Whenever error occurs the same gets overwritten by the latest file. We are attaching this error file on the completion of the job. If error file generates, everything is fine. But, on the successful run, I mean when there are no error file generation, it attaches the previous run error file.
Anyone of you help me how to handle this situation. Is there any way to validate the file generation date before attaching the file.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    Thanks for the response.
As of now we are following that as a workaround. However our client wants to avoid the manual work of delete/move/renaming the error file.
Is it possible to check the file generated date with sysdate for attaching the error file by odisendmail.
    Thanks!

i have used an example on the web to help me do this, so it may look familiar!!
It works fine when i run the program in debug mode but doesn't work when i run the jar file, i was wondering if anyone could help me understand why? or give me a clue as to where to look as i have had the strange realisation that i rarely compile my code up to be used by other people!!
sad but true! Also apologies if i haven't posted adequate information, this is the first time i have posted on the forum asking for help!
Anyway help would be most appreciated and thanks in advance

Sorry, by debug mode i mean running it using netbeans 5.5 and clicking on the "run main project" icon.
Once i have cleaned and built the main project all of the files are put into the jar file. Once i have done that i double click on the jar icon
is that ok? there doesn't seem to be any errors

  • Problem sending email

I fail to send email with the error message "This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered. Sending the message content to the server failed." No problem in receiving emails and the Connection Doctor tool indicates no problem in connecting to the internet. Any help will be appreciated.

There's a myriad of possibilities here. If the connection doctor checks out, and you're able to send other emails then there's something about this particular email that's causing the problem - it could be some kind of spam filter running on the server that is rejecting the message because of the recipient address, the content of the message, an attachment, etc.
