Back button (JSF) doesnot always work

Hi,
<hx:commandExButton type="submit" value="CANCEL" rendered="#{rebalance.rebListSize > 0}"
styleClass="commandExButton" id="button4" onclick="history.go(-1); return false"></hx:commandExButton>Sometimes, clicking on the Back button gives me a Warning message about refresh.
Any clue why this happens?

I have been testing it since yes'day and noticed that having <redirect/>in the <navigation-case> might not work in all the cases.
For Example:
<navigation-rule>
     <from-view-id>/domains/application/recommendedRebalance.jsp</from-view-id>
     <navigation-case>
           <from-action>#{rebalance.goToCenterDetail}</from-action>
          <from-outcome>success</from-outcome>
          <to-view-id>/domains/application/centerDetail.jsp</to-view-id>
     </navigation-case>
        </navigation-rule>On recommendedRebalance.jsp ,, I have a
1.Link that takes me to centerDetail.jsp (via rebalance.goToCenterDetail --- which is a bean.method)
2. A Cancel button.
3. I have a BACK button on CenterDetail page which when clicked should go history.go(-1).
When I added <redirect/> to the above <nav-case>...the Back and cancel buttons seemed to work but the Link did not work.(Because it is creating a new request with no params)
when I removed <redirect/>,,, the link works but the Back and Cancel buttons work sometimes and sometimes give me "Warning : Page Expired"
What is it that iam doing wrong?/

You mean your home button?
If it intermittently works, then you either have to get it cleaned out or fixed. Back up your iPhone and take it into an Apple Store.

Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
Move the Cache.db (or ApplicationCache.db) file from the com.apple. Safari folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac. Launch Safari. Try the back button.
~ (Tilde) character represents the Home folder.

The Back arrow does not always work, particularly with Amazon and eBay sites.Even the on-page Back arrows do not work either.

I am using version 15.0.1. Since I updated to this version, the Back arrow does NOT always work particularly with Amazon and eBay. This is particularly evident when I go from a list the result of a search to an item on the lis. I cannot get back to the list even using the On-page Back arrow. I usually have to repeat the search to get back to the list again.

It is unlikely but you can atleast try they might set it up for free but expect an email about paying 269 for physical damage

IPhone 3GS Sleep/wake button doesn't always work

Recently i upgraded my iphone 3gs to iOS 5.0.1,
Since then, my sleep/wake button doesn't always work.
It's pretty annoying, and i hope there is a solution to this issue.

One possibility is that your phone is more occupied with "managing" iOS 5.0.1 since it has more features etc. This could especially be the case if you are using a lot of apps.
Another option is that the button is simply worn out... I used to have that issue with the home button of my old iphone 3g. However, if the problem started occuring right after you upgraded your iOS, it probably is a software issue...

Since the latest upgrade, my bookmarks have been wiped out, not funtioning nor is my back button or History function working. There was a message after following links provided that said this couldn't be fixed. Seems incredible.

I don't know what the update was called. I always trust them. Yet after I opened Firefox, I could not use my bookmarks since they were gone. The back button nor the History feature no longer works either. I followed the prompts and the diagnostic said there wasn't anything that could be done with this version.
I am not a computer wiz. This kind of diagnostic/troubleshooting gives me the willies. If I can remove firefox and then reinstall with another version. I don't mind building up my HUGE data base of bookmarks again. Yet if there is no way to have bookmarks for my Master's research, then I must switch browsers.

Thanks Tony for your link. Unfortunately I do not have the capacity to deal with the greek that page reads to me. Is there any way someone out there can walk me step by step on how to even start? I have no idea where any of those files can be found or what is required once I get there.
There must be a place for luddites like me to get help? Do I go to an apple store? Hire a techie? Why should I have to fork out money to work a free browser. I do have an extensive library of bookmarks with all the internet research I have done, and would consider paying someone to help me restore this. sqlite file.
I am really upset that Firefox doesn't supply an operator to help folks like me since this problem developed with their stinking upgrade. How can I trust future upgrades from now on? Who would a contact person be that I could share how absolutely frustrating and unfair this experiment is for the less technical population. I think there must be more people like me that this happened to and they probably just switched browsers.
FIREFOX, your mission states you want to be user friendly and of service to the people, that your a non-profit organization here to help navigate the web. Your upgrade has just diminished the quality of that experience by more than half of my previous effectiveness. PLEASE help me resolve this problem beyond just sending me to a page in your lexicon of solutions. I go to the chat room and it's been closed every time. I would like an email address of a customer service rep. but haven't found that either.

Trouble with back button in Safari, always resets to top of page.

I am running Safari 6.0.5 on a Macbook Pro running OSX 10.8.5
The problem that I am having is that every time I use the back button to my previous page it always takes me to the top of my previous page. All of my other Macs running Safari always take me to the point in the page I left from. It is a real headache to always have to search for where I was on my last page. I have gone through every preference I can think of that would be relevant and updated several versions of Safari with no change. This issuse is only on my laptop
Anyone that has had this issue I would appreciate the help.

Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Sleep button doesn't always work

I have the iPod touch 4th generation. The past few days the sleep button hasn't been working properly. It seems to pick and choose when it works. When it doesn't work, I have to wait a minute for the iPod to put itself to sleep.
Is there anything I can do to fix this, or is it a case of it being faulty and having to send it back and have it replaced?

Try the basic troubleshooting steps. If it still does it, contact Apple and get the switch replaced.

How do I get the back button in Safari to work again?

The back button stopped working. I can only refresh the page. To go back I need to go up to History, and click back. I loved it when the back button worked. Any suggestions? I have a MACBook and Leopard

For any of you who have had this problem... here is the real solution. On the upper task bar, Go to VIEW, open up CUSTOMIZE TOOL BAR, find the FORWARD AND BACK ARROWS and DRAG THEM UP TO WHERE THEY BELONG. How did they disappear?..... some accidental combination of keystrokes deleted them, I don't remember what that was. End of story and I am sticking to it

FindComponent() in client doesnot always work in firefox

in the adf page, there is a commandImageLink and a showdetail component.
the showdetail is not disclosed by default when page loaded. after click the commandImageLink ,then make the showdetail disclosed through javascript in client.
adf code is like this:

in the javascript init(event) function, the src.findComponent("viewSD") will return null sometimes, but sometimes it works.
is this because the showDetail component may not be rendered completely when try to find it through javascript?
but it seems always works in chrome and ie.
any ideal?

Hi,
it should work as in IE and Chrome because the JS objects are created the same. If this continues reproducing, please file a bug with customer services for the dev team to track the issue. I assume you tried JDeveloper 11.1..4

IPhone 4 home button doesn't always work

Not sure where the problem lies here, with hardware or software. The home button appears to be working inconsistently. Sometimes a normal press pulls up the home screen. Sometimes, I have to really press it hard, or several times. Double click and home screen routinely don't work reliably. Is this a software issue or hardware. If so, is it repairable or covered under warranty?

It's a hardware problem, if it's under warranty, take it to an Apple Store and they will replace it for free. If is not under warranty, they will charge you the cost to repair
