Back order cancellation

I purchased a pioneer avic-7000nex for 699.99 two weeks ago. Bestbuy priced match with crutchfield and that was awesome! I received a email confirmation saying that the item is back ordered and about two weeks later my order was canceled just a few days ago saying that they are unsure of when they would get more of the item in stock. I checked the bestbuy website and to my surprise they have the item in stock and available to ship to my address so I called the 1-800 number and spoke to a rep that was told by her supervisor that they wouldn't be able to honor my pervious purchase for 699.99 and they only thing he could do was offer me a price cut of 200.00 from the original price of 1199.99. The supervisor did say if crutchfield had this item in stock and for 699.99 they would price match but they wouldn't honor a order that bestbuy canceled and then is advertise in stock on the bestbuy website what a joke... By far the worst customer service experience! I checked and crutchfield doesn't not have the item in stock but it's still advertised for 699.99.

Good morning Smilz213,
The Pioneer AVIC-7000NEX looks like an awesome head unit! I’m glad to hear we were originally able to provide you the price match of $699.99 to Crutchfield.com.  It is regrettable that this item was backordered and eventually your order was canceled due to the extended backorder.
Using the information you registered with the forum, I was able to locate this canceled order to review the item and the price match you would like now that you state you see it is available again. Sadly, it seems that this item has been discontinued and isn’t available on BestBuy.com as you mentioned. When items are discontinued, we would not be continuing to receive more stock of the item.
Given this information, sadly we wouldn’t be able to even place an order for this item to price match. I apologize for any disappointment that this may cause you. If you should have any other questions, please feel welcome to reach out to me!
Sincerely,

  • Getting back a cancelled order

    Hi SAP Gurus,
we've implemented an SRM extended classic scenario with the R/3  as the back end system.
I would like to know if there is a chance to get back a cancelled order: are there any specific flags I should put on a specific table using the tx bbp_pd?
Thank you very much for your tip.
    Giovanni

How can I get the ArrayList to populate in the same order as the database results??I'd guess they are in the same order as the database results. A question for you: what does an order by clause do?

  • Order Cancelled, at wits end!!!!!!!!!!

I went to my local Best Buy store to buy a new phone for myself and my wife, the employee tells me that they don't have them in store but he could order them for me and have them shipped to my house. I say great lets do it. He places the order and we go through the whole process of an upgrade and paperwork and all other required stuff, takes about 45 minutes. I leave the store felling great thinking we would have new phones in less then a week and have got them at a great price. I check my email on my phone and have one from Bust Buy saying my order was received and then another one saying my order was cancelled because the could not verify my information. I head back to the store. Speak with the same employee who had helped earlier, he looks everything over, talks with his manager and we place the order again. Same thing happens an email saying the order was received and an email less then a minute later saying the order was cancelled. He calls Bust Buy credit to ensure that my card was good to go, they tell him that things are good and then they speak with me and tell me the same thing, and that we should try the order one more time. The employee has been there help me now for almost an hour after his shift ended and asks if I would mind if he had another employee help me, I tell him sure and thank him for his help,  so after being in the store for another hour and 30 minutes, and the second employee making calls to help desks, submits trouble calls,  and talking with managers we place the order again, and the same thing happens email that order was received and then an email less then a minute later that it had been cancelled. At this point I am very frustrated having spent close to three hours in the store trying to spend my money, thank everyone for their time, and head home, as I was leaving I was told to come back the next day and they would get it all figured out. Later that evening I look at the emails again and decide to call the number for questions, again great customer, the rep tells me he can't see any reason why my order would be cancelled but he would forward it on and that some one would contact me in the next day or so, and recommends that I contact the store again.
I go back to the same store again speak to another employee and explain everything that has happened, she makes some phone calls and talks to managers, help desks, etc. and we place the order again and the same thing happens. She makes a few more phone calls gets things reset and we try once again with the same results. We talk some more and she recommends that we try an have my wife come in and try to place the order, and to call Sprint to see if they have a flag on my account. I call Sprint and Best Buy credit both are great and tell me they see no issues and have no flags on my accounts. I call Best Buy.com and the rep was a little short with me and told me that since there was a ticket already placed that I needed to wait to hear back, I asked when I should expect to hear back on the ticket and was told when they call me. This is frustrating and upsets me but I say thank you for your time and hang up and go back to work. After work my wife meets me at the store and she goes through the process and has the same thing happen email order received then a minute later order cancelled  can not verify information. By this time the two employees that had helped me the day before are back for their next shift and they along with the employee that had been helping me make calls here there every where to try and figure this out. They get things "reset again" and my wife tries again with the same results, now after spending four hours in the store my wife takes my daughter home so she can eat and get to bed, I stay and wait on more phone calls being made. At this point I am totally defeated, I call it a day and am told I should try and place the order online once I get home. I get home and place the order online and get the first email saying that my order was received and waited to see if I would get the second one saying the order was cancelled, 3 minutes goes by and I'm feeling good that it was finally worked out, then my hopes and dreams were once again crushed, email comes in saying my order was cancelled for the same reason as the other 9 said. I try one more time to order online and decide this time to bypass upgrading my device and just buy the phone out right, place my order and swallow hard as I hit the button submitting the $900 order for just one phone and hope, I get the order received email and then the waiting game, 2 minutes goes by, 4 minutes goes by, now 10 minutes has gone by and I'm feeling good that it was finally going to work, then it happens the second email saying my order has been cancelled for the same reason stated in the other 11. I'm defeated and go to bed.
By this time I am sure anyone reading this is asking why in the heck would anyone in their right mind spend more then 8 hours total in a Best Buy store when they are not being paid to be there and basically beg Best Buy to take my money, the answer a good deal. 128gb iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ for the price of the 16gb version, a total savings of $400.
I have yet to hear from anyone from Best Buy higher help and really hope that Best Buy can figure this all out so no one else has to endure this.
If anyone from this secret Best Buy higher help who has no known phone, or anyone from any other part of Best Buy can help me out on this I would be very appreciative.
I will say this the three employees from the Best Buy store have been great and have gone above and beyond to help get this resolved, and I'm very thankful for that.

    Hello JSWO,
I spent a lot of time and effort just making the decision to upgrade from my ancient flip-phone to a smart phone for the first time and even more energy after that in deciding which one I wanted. It was exciting! I was mightily disheartened to read that your adventure was curtailed in a string of apparently ambiguously cancelled orders. While I'm delighted to read that the staff at your local store went all out for you, I apologize for your having to cope with so many visits to the store and the quest for clarification followed.
Using the information you provided when you signed up for Best Buy Unboxed, I was able to locate your cancelled orders. I have reached out on your behalf to my corporate partners to look into your situation. As soon as I have more information I will reply again to your message.
Please know that I'm very grateful that you took the time to write to us and to provide so much detail about your experience.

  • Back order line in transact move order form , drived the inventory negative

    Hi,
I had problem with transacting some lines in several move orders (it was stuck and giving error each time I tried to transact or delete from view update allocation –> delete line)
In order to cancel these lines to proceed the manufacturing process I back ordered those lines by:
Inventory super user - > move orders - > transact move order - > tools - > back order line
Note that the move orders type was Manufacturing Pick
Now I noticed that this drives the WIP subinv Negative for those items .
So what is the problem and how can I solve it?
    Thank you
    Edited by: Ahmed.Abbas on Apr 16, 2011 2:39 AM

    hi,
The problem was in the interface managers (Material transaction , Move transaction ) were inactive , i launched them
Review note 141493.1 in metalink to know how.
I also deleted the pending transactions with errors from mtl_material_transactions_temp and mtl_transaction_lots_temp ( the items were lot control ) .
    Thats all :)

  • Cross Docking with LE-WM - or - Reactivating Back Orders upon Goods Receipt

I have been reviewing the documentation for Opportunistic and Planned Cross Docking in LE-WM. The requirement is to release Back Orders upon receipt of a shipment to avoid putting them away and picking them right away from the bin. We want to release the Back Orders for picking in the GR area at the time of receipt.
So far it appears that Opportunistic Cross Docking depends on a Transfer Order already existing. The system then cancels the existing TO and replaces it with a TO to pick from the receipt Storage Type.
Planned Cross Docking appears to require an existing Outbound Delivery to the expected Inbound Delivery.
In the case of a Back Order, no Outbound Delivery or Transfer Order exist since there is no stock to release until the goods are received.
Is there a way to release Back Orders to be picked directly from Goods Receipt?
    Thanks;
    Jim

The problem is that all the information I found so far about it is over the process of external goods coming and sending they out without the need of storing in the warehouse. They go directly to the picking area (one step) or in two step process  going first from 902 (Good receive from external) to Cross docking Sorage type.and another movement  from Cross Docking Storage type to 916 Good issue Storage type.
I need to know if it is possible to implement a solution of Cross Docking for certain number of products having a factory and a warehouse. If so, would you give me a brief process flow?.
    Thank You very much.

  • Customized Back Order Report

    Hello,
I have a customer who would like a customized back order report.  They would like a query that would show them the following:
    - The Items on any orders that have been partially shipped on the row level.  (I was able to create a query that would do this by making it a requirement that the Delivered Quantity be greater than 0).
    - The Items on any orders that may be partially shipped overall.  I cannot figure out how to write this part of the query.  I don't know how to tell the query only to pull the lines from orders that have other lines that have been shipped.  The one query I wrote only looked at the Delivered Quantity and I made it so it had to be greater than 0.  However, this left out a number of orders that did not have whole lines shipped.  I would still like to see those rows.
The conventional Back Order report is not very helpful to our customer because they are a seasonal distributor.  They receive most of their product all at once.  For this reason, they may have whole orders that are overdue a few days (due to a delay in overseas shipping or other reasons).  They know about these orders.  They would like a list of the orders in which they have already shipped something (either partially shipped the line or partially shipped the order).  They would then use this list to call the affected customers and ask if they would like to remainder of their order to ship when they receive the product or if they would like to cancel the remainder.
The conventional backorder report has over two thousand lines on it and it would be very time-consuming for them to go through the individual documents to determine which ones had shipments created and which ones were listed simply because they were overdue.
Can anybody help with this?  I'm not sure how to tell if the sales order has had a delivery created or not.  Like I said, I can figure out how to tell when a line is partially shipped but not when the order overall is only partially shipped.
    I appreciate everybody's help!
    Thanks,
    Amanda

    Hi Gordon,
Thank you for your query.  However, your query brings the same results I was able to query as well.  It shows all of the lines that have had something shipped on them.  But my customer would  also like to to see those orders that have had some lines shipped and other lines not.
For example, they have a sales order 10962.  This sales order has 3 lines on it.  1 line on this sales was order was shipped complete.  The other two lines have not been shipped at all.  I would the query to pull the two lines that have not been shipped at all.
The other part of the query is what you and I have both written.  This part of the query pulls the lines that have had something shipped on the line but it is not the complete line.
I was hoping there may be some sort of flag in the table or something that would indicate if a delivery has been created from the sales order.  Do you know of any such flag or any way of writing a query that would check this?
Again, thank you for taking the time to write your query.  I appreciate the help and time you've spent.
    Thank you,
    Amanda

  • Iphoto book order cancelled - Totally dissatisfying customer service

This message to alert you that Apple might cancel your iPhoto book order for no reason !
This is what just happened to me, leaving me in a totally dissatisfying and frustrating situation, as I did everything to have this book in time for Christmas, had to go through over an hour on the helpline with Customer Services, whose agents are badly informed on the solutions that they can offer you when such mistakes happen ---
I ordered an iphoto book on December 14, in order to have it in time for Christmas.
Nothing was reported wrong or erroneous when I placed the order and uploaded the book. Two days later, Apple cancelled my order without any notification sent to me. I have only learned about it on December 21, worried that my book had not arrived yet. I checked online about my order status, which then said "order cancelled". No explanation why. I waited for Monday December 23 in order to be able to talk from someone at Customer Services. I was then told that my order had been cancelled because one picture and text was overlapping, but they could not tell me exactly which one. It was then suggested to me that I should replace the same order and call back so that they could accelerate the process.
I placed the order and sent the exact same book to Apple again and then called back. Another assistant from Customer Services advised me that there was nothing they could do in order to accelerate the printing and delivery process. All they COULD HAVE offered me was 15% discount, which the first assistant did not mention and which now was too late for me to benefit from since I had already placed the order. Also, I was told that my exact same order did not produce any issue for printing, so that the first cancellation was in fact made without any reason.
This leaves me with the following situation: Although I have placed my first order in time for it to arrive before Christmas, I end up with no Christmas present, over an hour lost on the phone with customer services, no discount, no accelerated printing or delivery process or any other gesture in order for my infuriating situation to be less so, and a photo book that will arrive in early January when I will have already left my family to work abroad again.
I am entirely dissatisfied with the quality of the Apple iphoto book service and Apple customer services. I have not obtained any help or remedy from your customer services although several mistakes had been made on their side.
You are well advised to consider alternatives before spending hours on creating an iphoto book...

Anne, that is really outragious. And I cannot understand why the support did nothing to rectify their mistake and help you to get your book printed in time. The support teams at the Print Products Stores probably will not read these these Forums, these are user-to-user discussions. So, to make Apple listen to your justified complaint, use the feedback form.

  • MacBook order cancelled?

I ordered my MacBook a few days ago. I didn't get a confirmation of order, but didn't worry about it. I transferred the money and finally got a mail from Apple that my order is now in process. This morning I headed over to the self-service website to check the progress. And that got me totally confused, since there's two boxes now with exactly the same content (my order), one of them says that my order will be shipped in a few days and one of them says it's cancelled. The sum of money I have (rather had, since I already transferred it) to pay is still the same, but the second box there kind of scares me because Apple now is the owner of the money that I worked hard for.
So: Is my order cancelled or did the system or whatever mess my order up and book two MacBooks but then they realized that I just ordered one and cancelled the second one?

I had this happen with an order I placed awhile back. Aplle evidently id't have the exact computer so they updated te order. Click on the order they have and you wil see what the new order is. You'll probably get a better computer. I had ordered an iMac 20". The order got cancelled and replaced with a 20" iMac with a higher ampunt of RAM (2 GB instead of 1GB) and 256 GB VRAM instead of 128 GB VRAM.

  • Evo 4G LTE Back Ordered?

I pre-ordered the HTC Evo 4G LTE the first morning it was available (5/7) and now the order status id 'Back Ordered'?
Is this really the case? I just logged in to see if there was a ship date yet and saw this. Annoying if true.

Dan, I will wait for a while as this is the only phone that has really caught my interest since the original Evo 4G 2 years ago. My issue if you look at my original post had nothing to do with the delay, in fact I posted it well before I ever heard about that.
My problem is with Best Buy and the way they have handled this order since I placed it. I only looked at the status this week and saw it listed as back ordered, but I suspect it has said that almost since the moment it was placed. I have a co-worker that placed an order the same morning and it went to backordered status at once.
I posted here and emailed the online store address and asking about it before the news of the customs delay came out. That was Tue afternoon. To date the closest I have to any kind of response from Best Buy is you post above.
I did get this right after I sent the email:
    Best Buy Customer,

  • Halo 4 Console Back-ordered

I pre-ordered the Halo 4 Console pack about 2 weeks ago and just found out it has been Back-ordered and won't arrive for about 1-2 weeks which is fine with me.
Since I paid the extra $11.00 for the 1-2 day shipping, will I get that money back since obviously it won't be arriving in the specified time?

Just leave it, don't cancel it. It will adjust upon pickup. No yu haven't been actually charged yet. You are seeing the authorization to make sure you have the funds so far and it will post as the right amount upon pickup. IF for some reason it glitched and didn't, you would just call and have a a price adjustment made so no biggie either way. IT should be there but keep in mind it is not guaranteed. It is guaranteed that if you were the 3rd person to preorder it and they get 3, you will get one.

  • Back ordered

I order a LG 55lw6500 on 10/28 was on back order said 2 to 3 weeks. after 3 weeks called and was told still don't know when . Called a couple days later still nothing. no emails called yesterday said they can't even find tv on their system just have to wait.told rep I don't want it cancelled. Got home checked order status said was cancelled, tried calling can't get thru. bought at good price $400 cheaper than  on sale now. think they realized they sold to cheap and want people to cancel or they wait and cancel it,. and its still being advertised  online on sale for $400 more. Should't still be advertising something they can't deliver..Called LG and they said Bestbuy should contact their LG rep.  Bottom line I'm out of tv at good price

Yes, we had a simillar experience where we were invited to shop online, made our selections (an Insignia 42"  LED/LCD TV for $399.99 among others)  and when we proceded to check out we were told the item was out of stock....EXCEPT that 1/2 hour later...the item was BACK INSTOCK at the regular in-store price...? I spent 2 hours on hold and on the phone before my call was dumped.
Where I come from, that is called "Bait and Switch".
    So dissatisfied.
